Great gym and never too busy at all times of the day. Only complaint is the lack of ventilation, it is always about 20 degrees warmer inside than outside and fans barely spinning. Would be helpful to get some additional fans

First time at this location. The downtown scenery is beautiful. The last time I really spent time downtown was when the grand ave mall was actually a mall and radio doctors was still on 3rd and wells! So that was a long time ago lol. So it feels good to have a healthy reason to come downtown again.Some of the shower stalls need some work but other than that I will definitely make this location a regular stop.

Nice. Not too crowded at 10am. By noon the crowd increased. Its clean, trendy, and diverse. The staff was great.

One of the better planet fitness’s in the area, but no one is ever at the front desk in the morning and I have to try and walk around to find someone so I can use the massage bed. Lose 5+ mins every morning. Wouldn’t be much, but I am always on a time crunch.Edit: there is a tiny little sticky note that says be back at 08 (that isn’t placed any where easily seen) so that means there is no one here overseeing the gym. Insane.

Typically pretty clean. Amenities always seem to be running, and staff seems to always be smiling! I would recommend this place to a friend.

The customer service at this gym is nonexsitent. The employees at the front desk have no knowledge about how the gym operates or any of its procedures. I have asked what I thought were simple questions, will a manager be available today? How does parking validation work? To these questions, two of the girls answered, I have no idea. I asked one of the girls a question and she said she would find me before she left to give me an answer. thirty mins later she walked right passed me and never followed through with me. Then the manager calls me with a bunch of excuses and asks me to change my review. The gym is dark, hot and sometimes not all that clean. Save yourself the headache and find a better gym.

I was staying downtown for a couple nights and ran into this location while on a walk. It was my first time at this location and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location looked incredibly clean. If youre staying downtown check it out, a short walk will get you there.

I went in 11:15am June 24th to sign up for an account. The woman at the desk was new and extremely rude to me because she couldn’t figure out to set up my account, she stated I needed a new account. I offered her my credit card and she got mad because it’s not the same account as I had on file… which really made no sense.. she then got testy with me, and I told her that she didn’t need to be rude. she then got even more of an attitude, and said that the assistant manager could help me and walked away. I had to walk over to the assistant manager for help. The assistant manager was great at assisting me and really helped me out! While the manager was doing so the rude employee kept making rude comments. Not the best experience 🙄🙄

Very small location everything is Close together. The locker rooms and bathrooms look so outdated! Also the staff wasn’t helpful as I just singed up for the membership.

I don’t understand the downtown planet Fitness staff they ask me and others to wear a mask I understand the policy and it’s okay to stay safe but why the members tell us to wear a mask and I’ve seen other members walking around and doing exercise without a mask what’s going on the law is for some and not for others....CEO President of Planet fitness Please step in they might be a carrier’s... I chose this PF location for many reasons. The main reason is the location. It is close to where I live. I also like that I never see anyone in the gym without their PPE on. That goes for members and staff. The gym is always clean and the staff has always been very helpful and welcoming.

Love the environment the employees work so hard to keep up!! The gym is clean, safe, and the customer service is above and beyond! It truly is a judgement free zone.

Such a great value to be able to workout at a place with state-of-the-are machines and other exercise equipment, of which there is an abundance. Large, welcoming workout areas for all levels of fitness with friendly staff who work to keep the place functional and clean. Personal trainers are knowledgable and friendly. I have spend many hours in gyms as a participant and a trainer. I find the Milwaukee Planet Fitness to be top notch

I visited this Planet Fitness with a visit pass,I was so satisfied that I purchased a membership @ this location & its well worth it .Its opened 24 hrs,throughout the facility its a very clean environment,sanitizer & paper towels throughout the fitness center, equipment in excellent condition. Staff is constantly maintaining a sterilized environment. Locker room & shower area clean as well.Membership at this location would be a healthy investment.

I like how the machines are placed at this location. Cardio is on one side not facing all the other machines. Makes it easier for me to workout without having that feeling that everyone is starring at me.

The staff at this location is always just super smiley and friendly. Facilities are pretty clean, and Ive never had trouble having to wait for certain machines. Plus you just cant beat the location. Open 24/7, and they do have a special parking connection with the Grand Avenue Mall across the street for discounted fares. Id recommend street parking if possible, however. Youll have to walk a block or two though

Amazing customer service! I’m in town for business and as soon as I scanned in the manager noticed I was from out of town and pulled out all the stops. Great friendly greeting and an explanation of the place, where everything was and all of the amenities! A short walk from my hotel so I’ll definitely be back a few more times this week!

This is an awesome gym! The staff is great and they clean the equipment daily. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to join. Personal Trainer is always in the gym helping people reach there goals and it does not seem to ever get over crowded. I have never had a bad experience in this gym in over 4 years!

This location has a way better 360 fitness set up than the Franklin location. Nothing is missing or broken. And it was easy to find. The only reason I gave it 4 is because Ive only been to it one time. The Franklin location Ive been to multiple times but its still the same issues. So awesome job to the night staff at the #MKEDowntownPlanet

I walked in here for a tour to help me decide which gym to choose in Milwaukee. Im so glad I did! I felt very welcomed, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The place was very, very clean. The downtown location is awesome! Many great amenities included in membership. Just overall, had such an uplifting, positive vibe from this location. Needless to say, I chose this Planet Fitness location as my new gym in Milwaukee.

Its an ok location. It is Very clean, which is the best which be said for it. Several machines were very worn, which impeded ease of movement. A couple benches had rips in them. They are missing a couple handle attachments that every other planet fitness has. Also, the nightmare that is parking. In addition, the scale is over 8 lbs off. (No this is not sour grapes from a fat person; the scale said I was extremely underweight. Which alarmed me).But the staff is very courteous and as I said, the establishment is very clean. Also, I think this location has a superior locker setup, to other gyms. No crowding.

This is my home base gym for Planet Fitness. It is a spacious gym that have a lot of equipment. Every time I come in.... I have the ability to utilize the equipment that I desire without having to wait.

Nice and friendly staff. Wish there were more parking spaces in downtown but understand thats not the gym could do with anything. I usually visit there around 6p and the place is pretty crowded but it works for me. If you are serious about building muscle or any kind, this in not the place for you but like myself for those who need regular exercise just to stay in shape it cant go wrong with $10/mo investment!

I think this gym has all of your standard equipment and more! I also rate it high for its cleanliness. It can get crowded during peak hours, but that can and should be expected at any gym. They offer classes as well, which is an option I look for in a gym. Parking is across the street at the Grand Ave Mall ramp which is a bit annoying in less then pleasant weather.

Overall a good gym, a bit busy depending on the time and day you go. Cleanliness is great, recommend if you are nearby and in a pinch.

Goodluck trying to cancel your membership. Once you are signed up they are very unreasonable on letting you cancel.

I liked it better than my home gym to be honest...They had more machines for your arms and a lay down hrdro massage chair...

Really fantastic gym. It is maintained really well, has great staff, and a huge assortment of gym equipment and machines. I like that it is an affordable rate and open 24 hours a day too.

I went over winter break and have 3 friends with memberships. There have been multiple instances of them being followed around and harassed by men. Oddly enough, it only occurs at night. Im not sure if thats when the creeps come out or if they feel like the staff doesnt care. I would recommend staff start walking around and actually paying attention to what goes on espexially in the core/trx section. I personally reported a guy that was aggressively commenting on strangers form/technique and the staff knew him by name because of how many complaints he receives. I dont understand why hes still allowed at the facility.

I have never met such a friendly staff who takes pride in what they do, and will accomodate me, in any way needed. The gym is always clean and the equipment is always in good functioning order. Also, all of the other members have been extremely friendly and considerate of me while I am working out. At $19.99 for the black membership, I feel like I am getting a huge value for my money!

I just called in to see if I could sign up for a particular program today. Christian answered the phone and he asked had I been a member, I said no, however I (physically) came in to talk to some staff. Right away (almost robot like) he goes, Well, let me tell you about Planet Fitness... Blah, blah, blah blah blah! Omg, first of all he was speaking so fast I could not understand him, secondly I couldnt get a word in edgewise. It got so bizarre, I hung up and called back. Of course he answered, and Im like perhaps you should slow down Christian, he goes (interrupting me) its protocol, its protocol, its protocol... He needs better training. Customer service is a lost art!

Work out without being swamped with sales pitches. The judgment free zone is also free of other forms of harassment so common in gyms. Great equipment, and plenty of the popular machines. I have never needed to wait, even during peak times.

I work out there every morning and the place is very clean. I would love it if it had a pool and hot tub but for $10/month what can ya expect. The showers and locker rooms are way better than Golds so for the money this is the best place to work out.

While missing some upscale amenities of the more high priced clubs, Planet Fitness provides a great value to those who want a basic gym with ample space to workout and equipment to work out on. The staff usually is quite friendly and non obtrusive as well.

I have been a member of the Planet Fitness Gym for about three years. The gym has all the machines that I need for my workout which is meant to maintain my straight and weight. Im not a bodybuilder but I see that some folks at this gym are way into that and thats fine, theres plenty of room for both of us. I do a lot of cardio on the treadmill or elliptical machines and follow the weight training program that the Planet Fitness Trainer worked up for me. The best part is that I feel great now and Im fifteen pounds lighter than I was when I started. I dont even have to workout nearly as hard as when I first started, three or four days with short workouts and some cardio ... I feel strong and fit. Planet Fitness has become something in my life that I just do. I find that most people who workout at Planet Fitness keep to themselves, focused on their own workout. Like me I think most folks fit their time at the gym into a busy life and I can respect that.Gym and workout machines are clean, very friendly staff and knowledgeable Fitness Trainer ... so I recommend that, if youre looking for a Gym, try Planet Fitness it may fit your needs as it has mine.

Weve been black card members since July of 2015, and have always enjoyed going there (we average 4 days/week). This facility and staff are top-notch!
