Well I went there and was excited to try the place out, but no one was there during operating hours.. The doors were locked and the lights were out and everything.. I didnt see anything about this.. But kind of bummed nonetheless.. Also the website is wrong on here for booking appointments like they say in their voicemail. But I cant even understand what they are saying in the voicemail when they mention the website either.. So..Update: Gonna have to change my review until further notice, I made an appointment with them, showed up with my friend to get my nails done, and no one was there and the doors were again locked like last time. I am thouroughly livid.

Stopped in here randomly to get a manicure before my son’s wedding. I knew it was close to closing but I was desperate and out of time. When I walked in, the salon owner (a nice motherly woman about my age) greeted me warmly but gave me the news that her last available technician had finished for the day and gone home. We chatted for a minute about what I needed, then she said, “I’ll take you myself—just give me a minute.”I got the most amazing manicure! She recommended I try gel polish, which dries under a UV light. She gave me an expert French-tip job that looked incredibly classy and was perfect for a wedding. It’s been three weeks since I had it done, and my nails still look perfect. I love looking at them! I wish I lived in Utah. I would go to Nails in 9th regularly. It is a fantastic salon.

Love my nail lady. (Cindy)..but struggle w/how the place is kept clean. Giving 5 stars. Only because of the nail tech. The clothes being sold are cute. But dont cater to anyone above a large...Jewelry being sold needs some updating...

Amelia is the best and makes sure you feel like a movie star when you are in her chair. She is very creative and can do just about anything with nails! Thank you for being so wonderful. Cheers to 8 years together and many more to come!

I have been a long time client of nails on 9th. The space is clean and nice. There is ample parking and the location is great! The best thing about the salon is the nail techs skills!! They do it all, Shellac, Pedicures, hand painted nail designs, acrylics etc. They have a very boutique feel, and carry cute clothing items and accessories. I have always enjoyed the customer service I have received, my go to nail tech is Amelia and I just adore her work.

I hate to leave a bad review but this was not what I was expecting for a pedicure. No comfy chairs, no foot baths or moisturizers, and the place had such poor ventillation I almost gagged on the overwhelming chemical smell. The girl who did my nails was very sweet, did a decent job but she painted them while she sat on the floor. If you just want someone to sit on the floor and paint your nails, it’s adequate, but if you want a true pedicure experience (warm foot baths, massage, filing, etc) you may be disappointed.

You will not find bad service from any of the girls here. However, while they do take walk ins I suggest making a appointment if you can. The pedicures here are worth every penny and will keep you coming back. Ive been a client of one of the technicians for over 10 years and even use to travel from Bountiful to Midvale for my services

The people there were great, I went to get shellac and they were able to fit me in on my tight schedule. My problem is after one day the shellac started lifting and cracking. It is now day five and it looks horrible.

I have been a client for a few years and I absolutely love nails on 9th from the cleanliness to the inviroment to the people. Personally I love Amanda! She is so bubbly and full of life and is always willing to have fun and listen to what ever you’d like to talk about (personally that’s big for me) She always makes you feel welcome and does AMAZING nails! She’s truly great! I’ve never been disappointed by her work. Every nail tech on nails on 9th has their own spin on things but they all seem to make it amazing. I will NEVER go anywhere but nails on 9th because I truly have the best nail tech!!

The pedicure area is away from everything else, which is a little weird. No massage chairs for pedicure either. Havent been there for anything else, but if youre wanting a pedicure, Id skip this place.
