I love this place! I wont go anywhere else!
First time there, really liked it. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My toes look so nice!
Very clean ladies are nice. Ladies know their profession.
Ive been here three times now. WORST EXPERIENCES! Its a very clean and They offer polish, gel, and dip acrylics. My first visit I asked for a manicure and pedicure. I noticed there were other clients getting both at the same time. The pedicure was really nice and relaxing, and the price is well worth it compared to other salons in the area. At the end of my pedicure they forgot my manicure. I didnt want to stay longer, and decided to come back later. When I returned a few weeks later I found it odd my manicure was done without and care to my cuticles or lotion applied to my hands. It was an okay experience but just not the best. I had dip done and found a few bumps that could have been smoothed better.I decided to go back and try them for the third and give them a chance.I went on a Friday during school arrived just before 2. Chose my color and one of the ladies said they would be able to get me in right away. Perfect!I sat down and the lady added foil to my nails and said she would let them sit. They were not crazy busy. Two ladies walked in right after me, for mani and pedis. The lady who said she would take care of my nails started working on one of them.Meanwhile two more clients walked in and the other nail technicians started working on everyone and left me with acetone on my nails for 45 mins. The original lady came back to me because Im at her station, she grabs her kit to complete the other ladies manicure. (Three sets of people have hadSomething worked on or done so far. Im still sitting) she tells me someone else would help me when they are done with another customer. It would have been one thing if they were incredibly busy, and people that came after me without appointments hadnt already been worked on. One employee even went to the back to eat.I didnt have an appointment, but they did say they would get me right in. Not 45 mins from the time I walked in. I left with melting nails, and not one person said a word to me.If you wonder if this place would be a good try. Turn around and go somewhere else.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
I came in on a week day to treat myself to a mani and pedi. I was greeted by Helen and was promptly shown to a pedicure chair where she gave me a wonderful mani and pedi . She was so gentle, kind, and we had a great conversation. Needless to say, I will be going back!
I LOVE everything about Tippy Toes especially Helen and Mary. They get to know you on a personal level.
I love this place. All of the staff are super sweet and want to do the best job. I recommend going and having Tippy Toes pamper you.
I wont be going back. I have my natural nails, I asked for a manicure wanting my nails painted for a Halloween event. She convinced me to get dipped polish. She did a terrible job, left stuff caked under my nails, acted upset when I asked her to remove it, didnt do any sort of skin treatment, massage, cuticle work nothing. Asked me if Id ever had dipped before... charged me $45, acted as if Id never seen the inside of a nail salon. Id asked for a design-the main reason Id gone in- its terrible it looks nothing like the one on the opposite side. I though since they werent busy maybe they wouldnt be rushed and do a decent job. The reason they arent busy is because they are terrible. I was the only customer the entire time I was in there. The other techs were just laying around literally napping on the wax table or laying across massage chairs.
My very first time getting my nails done by a professional. The lady didnt take all the nail polish off before starting. Didnt property clean and clip my nails. My natural nails were still long. My nails got dipped in Halloween colors but in the process the lady was such in a rush even though there were 3 workers and only me and 1 other guest. In the process of dipping my nails she used the electric drill and drilled off my cuticles. 4 of my fingers were bleeding after i paid and left the shop. Note it was my first time and i didnt know what to expect. When arriving home some ladies told me that THAT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. Im very upset and didnt keep the nails on for more than a week due to them cracking from the amount of layers she dipped my nails in. WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR GO BACK THERE. 🤷🏻🤦🏻🙅🏻
I have been 2x. Both were horrible experiences. When I pay top dollar for a pedicure I’d like my massage to last longer than 2 minute each leg. Last time there for dip nails ....she had the file going so dang fast ......went clear to the nail bed and brought blood. One month later it was still sore and fighting an infection. Won’t be back.
They are all so nice! I take my 8 month old with me while I get my nails done and they “babysit” for me! A great experience!!
My parents and decided to treat themselves and I to a manicure and pedicure this evening, however, that was a horrible mistake. My parents and I left Tippy Toes extremely dissatisfied and fuming. I asked my nail technician for a simple manicure- just polish. When she asked what length and shape I wanted my nails, I stated that I did not want them short because I had been growing them out (and as a lady, I was pretty proud of the progress I made in nail length). As for shape, I asked for my nails to be rounded. I did not expect the nail technician to have much trouble with this request, considering round shaped nails are not a new trend, in fact, it seems to be a pretty common request if you asked me. Anyways, my nail technician seemed to be struggling. I re-explained to her multiple times- five to be exact- exactly what I wanted, but she still continued to mess up the shape AND length of my nails. Rather than asking another nail technician for help to ensure she understood what I meant by round nails (which I would have much rather prefered, there is no shame in asking questions to get a job right for a client), she continued to attempt on her own to fix my messed up round nails until they were extremely short, which made me incredibly dissatisfied. Additionally, I was not moved to a manicure table for my manicure, both of my arms were pulled to one side of the chair I sat in for my pedicure, which was not very comfortable at all and I have pretty long arms. Not only did the nail technician barely massage my arms, she massaged them with cuticle oil- she didnt put lotion on my arms which really puzzled me. Im not sure if it was out of laziness considering I saw other customers get massaged with lotion, but thats sure what it seemed like, and it left my hands and arms very oily, which is not what I was going for. When painting my nails, the nail technician coughed onto my hand. I felt the puff of cough air coming out of her mouth onto my hand, and I do not think that is something ANYONE would appreciate. I was VERY grossed out. Further, my toenails were cut extremely short as well- I expected them to be cut, as like to keep my toenails well maintained, however I was not expecting them to be cut drastically short, and left without shape (just a straight across look, she just cut them with the nail clippers straight across). My mother was also very dissatisfied. Im not sure if the nail technician doing her nails was unhappy because I was clearly disappointed in the work I was paying for as a customer, but for whatever reason, she became incredibly rough with my mothers hands. The technician would pull on my mothers hand in a rough manner rather than gently guide them, and more so throw my moms hands down instead of placing them back on the table where she was seated. Little does the technician know that my mother suffers from arthritis in her hands. My mother did not deserve this kind of treatment whatsoever, and as her daughter knowing the pain she already experiences in her ahnds due to her arthritis, I was absolutely infuriated. When my mother tried to help guide her hands herself to avoid the rough handling, the nail technician would stop her as if she was insulted by the help when my mother was just trying to avoid feeling handled in a less than gentle way, which is at the fault of the nail technician. My mother wanted to get up and walk out, as did I. My father goes with us because it is his treat for his wife and daughter, but his nail technician made his experience awful as well. Considering my father is a man, his time at a nail salon is very simple. He primarily enjoys the massage chair because he works so hard day in and day out. His nail technician acted as though she barely wanted to touch him, and because of that gave him a very short and less than mediocre massage. My father being a man is not excuse, he is a PAYING customer. Will never EVER be back. That being said- Jeannie is the ONLY person I would recommend at this establishment. Good luck to you if you decide to go here otherwise.
This is where I go for Dip. I absolutely love it. I always feel welcomed and they do know what they are doing. Its in a cute little city and I dont mind the drive for the service.
