Angela was amazing! Just moved to Midland and had 1 bad haircut and decided to just start shaving my head during the pandemic. Well needless to say this was my 1st cut since 2020 and she killed it. Polite, friendly and very professional. Definitely going back.

Was one minute late for my appointment and was told I have to wait another hour because my haircut would now take too long. I used to only go to JRs for haircuts but I will not go back to a place that’ll waste someone’s time like that. I literally called and told the lady I’d be there in roughly 5 minutes and showed up in 6 and got told now I’d have to wait. This was after she sat me in her chair to cut my hair.

They give great service and haircuts. My son has had several different stylists and they all have been very good. Friendly place.

Stylist was friendly and relatable, service was quick. My desired haircut isnt anything fancy and she did great not trying to do something else with my hair, an issue I have run into at salons often.

Don’t go here unless you want a wack hair cut. I can’t believe that they allowed my boyfriend to walk out with his hair so messed up without anyone offering to fix it.

Ill start by saying the people there are incredibly nice. Unfortunately that was the only positive note. The woman who cut my hair did the one thing I expressly asked her not to. Being my first time there, I had also booked a shave. Hot towel was relaxing, but the shave was done with a disposable Bic razor. Given the number of nicks and the quality of the shave, I cant even guarantee it was a new one. The worst part was that instead of aftershave or a cool towel to close your pores, they go back to another hot towel leaving you with all day razor burn. If youre looking to treat yourself to a traditional barber shop shave, this isnt it. I was still a good enough customer to tip her for the effort, but a little training for the staff would go a long way. Also, you cant schedule an appointment, walk in only.

Very courteous and professional staff! This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. I love my haircut and I’m confident that my barber/stylist knew exactly what she was doing. They offer a variety of services that you just can’t find much anymore and they’ll show you how to use it!!

What a great atmosphere! We had a great experience. Walked right in. Did not wait long at all. My son is 9 y/o. Kaylee did a great job. Was really good with him. And she did a great job on his hair.

Over all a good haircut although it was hard to explain the style I wanted. If you have an easy haircut and know which length you would like to have it is the place to go. If not, it is still one of the better places but you will have to let them try once or twice before they get it 100% perfect.

First time at JRs, I hear there are six locations now. Quiet Monday afternoon so they got me right in. Stylist was very friendly and have me a overview of the total service that I would receive, then she listened very intently as I described what the finished product should be.Looks Great, we will wash it in the morning and share day two impression.

Awesome place. I have been to many salons and none of them have been able to manage to cut my hair in a way I like. This place was the first and only place I found that can. The staff is awesome and great to work with, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

You should make your customers aware of your price changes. Triming a beard shouldnt be based on the time it takes the stylist to do it, its not the customers fault the stylist is slower than any other we have had. A 20 hair cut and beard trim was perfect for a 15 minute job now it is 30? We will go elsewhere!

Went to the midland store with my 6 year old son. He got his hair cut and I got a beard trim. I was really hesitant at first to have my beard trimmed because of a bad prior experience at a different barber shop. Needless to say I will definitely be back. Everyone was very nice, informative, and helpful.

Honestly the best experience Ive had getting a haircut/beard grooming. Used to asking for a low fade and ending up with a high and tight. Genuine shop filled with talented ladies as well as great services, products, and policies.

They take the time to make sure your haircut is perfect and not try to just rush you out the door.

This place is great! Theyre efficient, give great haircuts and the decor is kind of awesome. I love the location and it doesnt smell like a cigar in the same way that the Mans Cave does.

Great service and reasonable priced... the only suggestion I have would be to get rid of the hot towel, and offer a neck massage instead.

Today I went to JR’s for the first time. Not only was my haircut quick and expertly cut, but the service was incredible, and simply put, it was the best haircut of my life. Please give JR’s a try if you are looking for a barbershop.

Ive taken my 5 year old son to JRs twice and both times had a positive experience. The shop was clean and the barbers were friendly and patient.

My stylist was great! However someone was able to cut in line just because they saw or knew there was a note pad near the register and I didnt. Both the stylist I had and the other saw me walk in. When the other stylist was done with her customer, she called the gentleman who came in after me just because he was on their note pad before me even though she knew I came in first. I do not fault the stylist I had for this error. The only reason why I didnt leave right then and there was because I needed a haircut done right awayhen. It will be very difficult for me to ever want to go back to JRs again unfortunately. If the policy is to go off of a note pad, then someone needs to mention to customers to sign in immediately upon entering.
