Glandys is the best barber Ive ever had. I can request a cut and get exactly what I want, or ask her to do whatever she thinks will look good, and Ive never left disappointed. All the barbers are nice and attentive to those waiting for their cuts. Great place.

I’d avoid this place unless you’re in a extreme pinch. Elvis is consistently running behind it late and never cuts as requested.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere when you walk in is like an old barber shop! I have sat and watched those girls give cuts to kids who couldn’t stay still, kids who scream the whole time and end up with perfect hair. Mike is the best! He cuts my sons hair and It’s excellent every single time! They have great music and refreshments and there’s always something to look at. My hair doesn’t get cut anywhere else!!!! You can book online so you don’t have to sit a long time and wait. We love it at Aces & Eights! Best place in town!

Ive been to this place two times and have had a really good experience both times. Definitely a cut above the rest! If you want to go to a place where the employees are paid by the hour, go ahead. They may not really care about the quality of cut they produce. These guys are professionals and get paid per appointment. They actually care about the quality of cut they produce and they really care if you come back! If you get a chance go see Barber #14 Frankie Hernandez. You wont be disappointed.

I’ve been going here for a little over 2 and a half years and have been pleased every time! Ana has been awesome, very talented, and professional! Even when she was out of pocket she had no trouble getting me setup with Glandys, which also did a good job!

Got a haircut and beard trim and it was awesome. Great experience. I didnt get the name of my barber but it was the lady with blonde hair and pink glasses. Really sweet lady. If you need a good cut shes perfect for the job.

Go see Frankie. He does amazing work, there’s no one else in Midland (that I have found) that will give you a closer fade. He has been cutting my hair for over 6 months now and is extremely skilled.He does really good with kids also.

This is the best place around to get your haircut, beard trim, etc. It’s clean, friendly, and professional....the staff is awesome and on time. Made a appointment for 940 got there at 932. Elizabeth was suppose to cut my hair. Couldn’t tell you who Elizabeth is because she never greeted me. Basically sat there for 25 minutes for no reason! Heard really great thing but have had bad experiences!!

This is my go-to barber shop. They always have great people who know what theyre doing. The atmosphere is very inviting; youll always make a friend in here. The staff is attentive, friendly, and will make sure that you feel completely comfortable during your visit. The prices are pretty standard so no complaints there.

Let my hair grow out for over a year. Didn’t look well at all. Even with long hair, my options were limited due to my receding hairline. Didn’t know what I wanted, but knew what I didn’t want. Luckily chose Melina and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She’s fantastic. Trimmed my beard perfectly as well. Found my barber for the rest of my life here in Midland. Thanks Melina and Aces and Eights. The environment, the people, the vibe......and not to mention my haircut is excellent. Many thanks.

Scheduled an appointment, place was overbooked. Place usually gives great haircuts, but waiting 45 minutes after you scheduled a spot is too long. Need better time management

This is the best barber shop I have ever been to! Not only are they all polite and professional, I got the best haircut I have had in a long time, maybe ever. Definitely ask for Erin when you go in she did fantastic and the price wasnt outrageous either. Will be booking again. Keep in mind it is cash only.

My first visit was easily 4.5 stars with Amanda. With her I had a straight shave and a haircut, she did great on all ends, took her time and did an excellent job with both the haircut and shave. I highly recommend Amanda. My second visit 1 star at best with Jackie. I had another straight shave and haircut, same everything. I get a 2.5 on top, 2 on the sides, taper the sideburns and neck. She didn’t check in with me or show me during the haircut, didn’t ask what I wanted my sideburns tapered down to, and didn’t edge up around the hairline. The taper is worse than what I can do in the mirror. The shave was rushed with a dull blade, uneven, and missed parts completely. The shave wasn’t even as close as you’d get with a regular razor only using downstrokes. I’ll have to go back and shave the multiple spots she missed, I was just ready to get out of her chair. I’ll be back, but only to one of the other girls. Will update review after my next visit.

It had been awhile since Id seen a barber, so when it came time to get my locks cut I went to Handsome Devils on a whim. I went in with a few pics of what I wanted and Esau nailed it. Great haircut at a very decent price and great people. Overall great experience, Ive found a new barber. Worth checking this place out.

Was my third time here I booked time with cristabel at 5:40 i spent 20 minutes and nobody was there in her spot just a grey plastic bag. I checked the link on the reservation and it says that i am booked with lydia #6 no one was on that chair. There was just 2 ladies cutting hair. No one the ones that I want to cut my hair were there ( cristabel or ana) i left after i wasted my time. The tablet where you check in was off. What is the point to have the book time option.

Very friendly people and nice environment. You can tell a place does good business when there is a line of 12+ people waiting for the lunch break to be over. I was pleased with the cut but at that price I was hoping for a single blade edge with warmer shaving cream. Despite this I have no complaint and will most likely return.

Best place to get an accurate cut and straight razor shave.

My son has had appointments at this place and they claim their appointment machine is not working and it’s double booking. Several times he’s waited a long time and they’ve seen people that walk in after him before him.

Great place with great barbers, but it has gotten much more popular over the last year. You can almost always count on a significant wait, especially for specific barbers. I have found myself cutting out of work to get by the shop around opening time. This seems to be the best time to drop by.

Got a quick beard trim for ten bucks and they gave me exactly what I asked for while making sure I was happy along the way. I would go back.

We always go to Ana for my son and my husbands haircut, and she is amazing! She is super nice and ultra patient especially when it comes to cutting my toddlers hair! She is the only person I let cut my sons hair because her cuts are ALWAYS perfect!

Third time here and couldnt get the barber I wouldve liked. So I took what I got. He did a good job on my hair. Cut it just as I asked.looks real sharp. Only hair problem was he put the very greasy dressing in it, I despise slick hair on myself I prefer a dryer dressing.As for my beard asked for a trim and all I got was some strays cut. I am satisfied overall and will try again.

Cool shop with a lot of talent. I have had 5 haircuts here over the past few months and I have always left impressed with how clean and professional my hair and beard has been groomed.The shop interior is reminiscent of a 6th Street tattoo parlor, and is usually packed with patrons, but the wait is generally 5-10 minutes at most (great if you want to get a haircut on your lunch break). They are cheaper than most of the chop shops in town, and you get a high quality cut.Most of the barbers can also shave you if you so desire, a service not commonly found in this area (I wouldnt trust anyone but these folks anyway).If you want a great cut at a great price, come here. A minor inconvenience but not worth a detraction, is that it is cash only so bring a $20 bill with you.

Update: Gave it another try and was a different experience. Much better this time. Dont see the big deal. Waited an hour (which I knew based on reviews) but the girl I got was completely uninterested in cutting hair, had zero personality, did not say one word to me during the cut and paid no attention to my desire for the style of cut. Im almost unsure if she actually cut anything. I will try it again but will ensure I get a different person.

40 dollars to get a straight razor shave haircut and a beard trim. A trim not a shave. I understand it takes time and talent to do a haircut. But damned I have to work for 2 hours just to make enough to get a haircut. I think not.

Went in to get a medium fade and ended up with a military high fade. Then came the lineup, i ended up with a round corner and a zigzagged Forehead. For The barber to have said he had 3 years experience i can do a better job with a blade than him.

I took my two boys to Barber Avenue to get their haircut. Saw the ad in the paper & figured we would try it out! I got tired of waiting HOURS at SPORTCLIPS to get their haircut, you can walk in & only have to wait 10min at the most. Very classy with the old style barber theme. I definitely will be back, recommend this place to anyone in the Odessa/Midland area!
