Its around 4 months since my patio doors were installed.Facts:- Yes, I am satisfied with the crew that did the installation. Nice, professional people.- Yes, I signed the paper saying I am satisfied. But they requested it right away. It was dark outside and windows were black color. I was not able to see all issues until spring came.- Even despite the team was professional - I had to contact them to come one more time and cover drafts that were really bad after original installation.- The quality of the materials, facing and lining IS POOR.- MAIN POINT: I dont even have to comment anything. You have your own eyes, just take a look at photos and tell me if TWO patio doors like this can cost 13+ thousand dollars? Dont make the mistake I made.PS:Now waiting for an official representative to come here and comment something like: - We are so sorry to hear, your case is exceptional, but you signed the paper where you were satisfied :)Again, read the above message. Check the photos. And make your own conclusion.P.P.S. Answering the Response from the owner below.What are you even talking about you cant reach me? Just yesterday I spoke to your representative. He confirmed (on his personal opinion) the work like this should be fixed.He said Ill be contacted by manager. Never happened.

The team that came and did the windows were on time, very professional and we’re very easy to work with.. They maintained a professional status the entire day. They explained how do use the new windows in detail . They also asked what questions that I had and where I need a demonstration. I would definitely recommend this team to anybody purchasing new windows. I would like this team to come back when I get my next set of windows installed in the spring. We live in an 1801 Federal house, and Renewal by Andersen of Eastern NY just installed 45 new windows in 4 days! They were thoroughly professional, and a pleasure to work with. We have lived in the house for 46 years, and wish we had done this long ago. We were dreading the installation, but they made it as painless as possible. They were neat, tidy, and worked with surgical precision. Nothing but the highest of praise for this company. The windows are beautiful, and we are so pleased to have brought our lovely house into the 21st century without sacrificing any of its historical beauty.

Chet was great! He worked very hard and had to work alone. My windows were the originals so they were not easy to remove. Chet did a perfect job. The windows look so good. No more drafts. Easy to open and close. Very pleased.

We had new windows and a French door installed by this business. The workers were Matt, Ricky and DaShawn. They did an excellent job! The installation team were professional, timely and efficient. They worked with little disruption to our household and got the job done on time. They were neat, tidy and respectful of our space. In these difficult times, I appreciated that Renewal by Andersen delivered on their commitment and got the job done.

They were there to do a consultation so we can have options. It was my sister and my mother and they have no idea of construction cost current rates or any of that and he quoted tham a price of $11,000 for 7 windows And natural my mother calls me And I tell him thank you I will get back to you. He said no I already got her approved and the only way we can get 25% off is if you sign today. Literally googled Anderson by windows and it says 25% off on the website. So don’t lie to me first off. and don’t pressure my sister first time homeowner. He forced her to sign otherwise we cant get the 25% off. Blah blah. I called my local guy and he literally got the price cut in half. We went and canceled the next day. I’m sure their windows are good quality but they’re not double the price good quality. And those kind of sales tactics are not how you do business these days. Call a local guy, all Anderson can sell you on is they can finance it but by the time youre done paying it off you’re gonna pay triple the price. You might as well just save up your money and get it done in one shot it a third of the cost.

Overall, I am not impressed. Yes, the new windows are nicer than the ones they replaced, but I was led to believe that they would provide better sound insulation, which they do not AT ALL. I still feel drafts. The slider window in my bathroom flips up off the track when I open it.I now realize that I paid way too much for these windows, not only for the above reasons, but in general, they are insanely overpriced. My fault for accepting the price, but I wanted what I thought were going to be “the best”. Too late now.When the measurement guy came, he alerted me that my salesman had ordered the wrong style window for my living room and even though three people at the company knew about it, no one fixed the order. Grids in the center of a living room picture window - after he and I discussed more than once how this is NOT a nice look! I only know now that he entered the code for grids while telling me that the center would be clear and only the side panels would have grids. I signed the contract trusting that he knew how to enter his own style codes and when the wrong one came he said “it was ordered per contract” as if it were my fault that I signed a contract that he completed incorrectly while telling me it was what as we had discussed.I am still waiting to hear from the manager.I will say, the installation crew was very professional and did great work.Shop around!!!

We had a front door installation in June. We paid in full, $11.000+. We were promised a high quality door. The installation was a disastrous experience. The front door is below the quality expected. It came with missing parts, damaged, and it sustained more damages during installation. The installer had an unprofessional behavior, was aggressive and had refused to take into consideration the issues that we pointed out. We have pictures and videos to document all of the above.They came for a second appointment in July, after numerous emails and phone calls. Instead of fixing he problems, they created one more by removing the glue on weather strips because they needed to be replaced. We had a third visit on 8/21. They left the front door in an even worse condition. After stripping the door frame to bare wood, the installer realized that he has the wrong color replacement parts (clads and Z-bars). He had to drive back to the Middletown shop and brought back black clads (mate metal) that do not match the rest of the door. He had to install them because other wise, the door would have been left in the bear wood condition. He was not able to find any Z-Bars and no glue on weatherstrips. It top of all the above, they never supplied a second door closer that was specifically required and paid for.We strongly suggest that people should not do business with this company. They are money driven with no respect for their customers. They are unprofessional, their installers are incapable to be up to the Companys PR standards advertised and promoted during the sale.

The replacement windows are expensive, but we did some research and it seemed worth the investment. The installation guys, Ricardo and Bobby, were excellent. They were professional, thorough and very customer focused.

Frank was a friendly salesman, Phil did an excellent job checking measurements and Ron and Manny were fast and clean when it came to the installation. Was definitely a very expensive product but longterm payment plan made it a good fit for us. The entire process was much faster than estimated, it only took a couple of weeks for the windows to get made and two days for them to be installed.

Snowstorm delayed installation by two days. My original called to inform me what windows were getting started did not happen on the new date for me to know which lines to take down. They even helped move items away from windows and removed some blinds since I was not informed which windows to clear. But all of the workers were very efficient and professional. Marek, Dom, Wayne, Will and one or two others were very nice, personable and worked so hard. Especially having to work outside after 20 inches of snow fell. There were some issues with the locks breaking or lining up on almost half of the windows, but Merck made them work perfectly. They did a very good job cleaning up inside and outside. One last lock had to be replaced a couple of days after the job is done because they didn’t have an extra.

Chet,Dom and Dom2 showed up on time. They were very respectful. Attended to their work and the installation looks great.

First I want to say the salesman was great . I had purchased windows a couple years ago and recently from another salesman . I had some minor issues and needed to speak to a manager they referred me to Dan the manager Because I could never get a last name.This man was rude unprofessional and just plain unknowledgeable about any of the products he is supposedly a manager of. He did have to come to my house and all I could say is I got a very uneasy feeling with this man. He could not answer any of my questions and when he tried to he would say things like I have 20 years in the window business I know what I am talking about just trust me.Its unfortunate because the rest of the experience was just fine this man is a detriment to any business..I will also write a letter to the owners of this business

The windows are fantastic. I have a house built in 1850 and they were able to install beautiful 6 over 6 windows. They’re not cheap but they’re worth it. Guys were professional, clean and quick.

We badly needed all 26 windows replaced in our house built in 1950. We decided we wanted the best, and recently had other Renewal by Anderson windows replaced in our primary residence. We were sold by the draft-free, easy to open double hung windows that helped reduce our winter heating costs. We are very happy with the houseful of new windows which sealed up many gaps, added insulated glass, eliminated rattling aluminum storm windows, reduced heating cycles, and replaced a half dozen or more different styles of old-fashioned, mostly unopenable, wood windows.

I strongly recommend that if you are looking to replace your windows to NOT use Huff N Puff company. Their work quality is terrible and their business ethics is even worse. I had 6 windows replaced and a front door system (door with side glass panel). I had numerous work quality issues, for example after telling them for over 18 months that the windows were not properly insulated they finally came back and 5 of the 6 windows were lacking proper insulation. One window had no insulation along the top horizontal nor any caulking, when the trim was removed you saw light shinning thru, see attached picture.An example of poor business ethics is they considered the job complete even though they new the new storm door was damaged. I told them that until they complete the job, which is not installation of damaged material, that final payment is not due. They filled a lien against my property even though they had not yet met the deliverables in the contract.

House never felt warmer & no more plastic film insulation kits to fuss with ever again. Could not be happier! Performs as promised; super energy efficient and look great. Love the results, and the installers who did the work: Phil Bellomo and Rob Ulshafer (primarily). Cannot say enough good things about them. Very professional & competent. Unfortunately, month long delay occurred because five of nine windows not cut right so one (1) star off. Still, this is the best investment you can make in your home. So glad I did. Thanks RBA. Measure thrice cut once.

He also made sure to contact the company since I had to broken locks. I love my windows!!

Way overpriced, poor workmanship, unresponsive customer service, shoddy incomplete installation topped off by the most obnoxious salesman Ive ever encountered. First attempt to close locks on windows resulted in snapped latches...they are plastic! Exterior finish scratches very easily. Customer service contact wont return calls.

Issue with salesman quickly resolved by Dave. Installation done by Chet and Steve was on time, efficient, clean, great attention to detail, takes all the time needed to discuss concerns. Easy to deal with.
