This is the WORST nail shop I have ever experienced. The nail techs are very unprofessional and the prices always vary. I was so displeased with my encounter today.. I arrived needing a fill in with gel polish and a pedicure, my mother was getting a gel polish fill in and my sister was getting a gel polish fill in and a polish change on her feet. My mother was done getting her nails done as my very lackluster pedicure was done so she paid for all 3 of us prior to services being completed. The total was $150 (not so much the issue).. but once my feet were done I asked who was doing my nails. They said they closed at 7 and no one was able to do it. I have never heard of an establishment not servicing the people already in the building and paid. After I complained that my mom had already paid for everything they went back and forth telling about how that price did not include my fill in. This was absolutely bizarre and disturbing. We live over 30 minutes away and have frequented this shop but NEVER AGAIN. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

My first and last time. I got a regular pedicure and the lady was not able to communicate with due to the language barrier so all my issues I had to relay to someone else for them to explain to her. She cut my nails down so low and filed and an angle. When she polished my toes she did not polish the corners. There was still remnants of the polish I had on my toes when I came in.I would not go back if this was the only place in the area. I would literally drives 1 hour to go anywhere else. The business is poorly lit. When I explained my concerns to another staff did not apologize on her behalf or provided anything to fix the issues.I am sincerely displeased and frustrated that I had to spend my money there. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND...

I came in for a French tip and a normal pedicure. The pedi is fine, the girl was friendly and nice. She did a good job. The French tip though, the guy made the white tip lines so uneven and my nails don’t look the same as the one next to the other. I feel like i got on his nerves saying this is too thick or this is too long and etc, but i care about how they look obviously, I’m paying 50 dollars so i want them looking the same and even. Overall I’m very upset, I’ve came here since i was a kid and this time just made me so unhappy and i learned a lesson.

Nails are lumpy. They started chipping Sunday and I got them done Saturday. Same results with my daughter.

I will NEVER be returning to this salon after my experience today. My mother and I have spent hundreds of dollars at this salon, as it is normally where we go to get our nails done. After getting my nails done on Friday, I noticed the VERY next day that my nail color had completely changed. For reference I got a clear pink color, and by the next day it was clear brown. I made an appointment Monday morning to get the color changed, after explaining to them what happened. When I arrived, they seemed very understanding and proceeded to fix my nails with a different color. After finishing, they asked me to pay $20!!! They told me if I had chose the same color, I wouldn’t have to pay but since I chose a different color then my original, I have to pay. NO ONE told me this PRIOR to doing my nails. Even though, to choose the same color after I saw how bad it was, would make no sense. They were extremely rude about the situation, giving me a huge attitude about not wanting to pay! Very disappointed to see how they treat loyal customers, given this is the first time we have ever brought an issue to them. I 100% RECOMMEND ANY OTHER SALON IN MIDDLETOWN.

I have been to Sky twice before this last previous time. I got a regular mani pedi and as the lady was doing my pedicure, she decided to take the aggressive rough sponge that is for the heel/dead skin there, AND AGGRESSIVELY SCRUB THE SIDES OF MY FEET. She cut my skin open and I now have scabs because she broke the skin. I don’t know how she didn’t notice as it turned red and broke my skin before her eyes. I also was trying to tell her what I wanted for my manicure and she did not hear me/listen so it was unprofessional. Needless to say I will not be back. First photo is right after my pedi, second photo is 2 days later.

They said on the they don’t do walk in but 90% of the people were walk in and the guy who did my nails wrong this is what I wanted vs what I got

Ive been getting gel nails and gel pedicures here, for years. Never had an issue until recently. They have become increasingly rude. The people who used to be my favorite for nails are the ones who rush,cut you and are short with you. Theyre only nice to 1st time/newer customers for the tips! Ive seen the rudeness with other customers as well. Ive spent so much money there, so its a shame, but Ill be finding a new spot.

I am never returning to this place, the gel nails came out after 2 days. The staff talk negatively in their language about clients. You can read from their sheepish look and the laughs. And when you call to mKe appointment the guy who picks up the call is so arrogant giving impression that it was a mistake to call.

I will never be returning to this place because they are very unprofessional. I just did a Manicure and pedicure. I was not happy with the Customer service. They seems to be mad when I asked them how much it was going to cost. The guy that was doing my nails got really upset, when I told him that one of my nails needed to be fixed. He started saying that I hit my nail. It almost seems like he didn’t wanted to polish my nails because it was my fault. He was very agitated and kept arguing with me.

I love getting my nails done there and the prices are very reasonable and while you are getting pampered you get a complimentary drink of tea, water, or soda which you cant beat that.

Great experience. The best nail salon Ive found yet in this area. Great prices and awesome manicures/pedicures. Id definitely go again and recommend them to family and friends. Good location. Plenty of parking.

Great job on my mani/pedi and it was only $40!! Day 4 and no chips or issues. There safety shields and precautions were good too.

I really thought I found my new nail spot but when I was there today I saw 2 women with their masks pulled down below their noses. The technician did not have a screen in front of one of them. This was irritating but then I saw another woman with her mask in the same spot and her technician was pregnant! No one said a word to anyone who was wearing a mask improperly. If they aren’t going to look out for the health of their pregnant employees then how can I expect them to take care of their patrons. I won’t be going back.

I visited this spa one time last year.Foot was cut during a pedicure and cuticles drilled over several times during a manicure.Then tried to drill off polish on my actual finger skin. I was about to be sprayed with hydrogen peroxide without my consent, had to stop the man.It was a painful and disappointing experience. Gel polish chipped and I had to return the next day. I saw the same floor trash and piece of stray paper towel on a brush from the day before. I hope during Covid reopening they are actually clean and sanitary.

Very very bad service and did not understand language.. they need people to interpret.. they over priced for regular gel full set. They charged $50For pedicure regular one . not not at all good... they cheated..new customers and repeating customers.. I will not recommend spending $95 where all others were charged only $75.00 for people in front of us. Same service

Finally!!! Have been to Le Nails, New Look & Envy. All failed to deliver with the simplest task as painting nails and toes nicely. Can is super sweet and does nails to perfection. Mai takes her time and your feet are baby soft when you’re done. Hands down the best in the area. They are kind, clean and fast without mistake. I’ll be back!!

I’ve been looking for this place since early July or aug, and I FINALLY FOUND IT!! It was 100% percent worth the wait, of dealing with my own PEDICURE ! . I NO LONGER HAVE TOO ANYMORE BECAUSE I FINALLY FOUND SKY NAILS !!! . The staff is so CALMING AND I JUst FEELS LIKE A RELAXING HOME AWAY FROM HOME. The VIBES here are IMPECCABLY CHILL LOYAL AND FULL OF GREAT SOULS !

My husband and I had our first couples pedicure and it was our first visit to Sky Nails. The service was good although they didnt turn on the message chair nor were we given instructions. But we played with it until we figured it out. Well definitely be returning for future services.

Very hospitable staff. A full set is $35. I walked in with a picture and walked out with nails identical to what I asked for.

I don’t usually write reviews for anything really, but i feel as though this place deserves one. In my 19 years of living, I’ve only been to 1 nail salon, that being angel nails. That being said i was worried about going to a new place, but angel nails was booked 2 days before Easter, of course. Staff was incredibly nice, and although i did come in around 10:40 and didn’t get my nails done till 11:40, i would say by far these are the best coffin tip nails I’ve had. I left the place by 12:05! Plus, depending on what you get it’s much cheaper! Definitely going here more often!

I love this place!! Moved here over the summer, every time I go in everyone is so nice! I went in tonight at 7pm, not realizing they closed at 7! They took me in did my manicure without even mentioning they closed at 7!! Great job, never felt rushed at all!

I went to Sky Nails because my usual nail salon was closed. The 30 minute wait wasnt terrible for a walk-in manicure and pedicure on a Saturday afternoon. As I waited, I began to notice that it wasnt the cleanest nail salon Id ever been in. There were things stacked sort of haphazardly and lots of dust. I probably should have left at that point. They didnt use any type of cuticle softener on my nails or toenails and really didnt allow either to soak very long. My cuticles were left a bit ragged. When asked what polish I wanted on my fingernails, I handed the manicurist the bottle. He was up and down several times through the process, so I didnt notice that hed switched it out for a gel polish. When he put the base coat on my nails, he told me to put my nails under the UV light. I thought he was gesturing to the fans, but he insisted on the lights...as he was doing my second hand, I realized he was putting on a gel base coat of some sort. I told him I didnt want gel. He told me the base coat is the same. Now, 3 days later, Im trying to paint my nails and Im stuck with this lumpy gel basecoat that that wont come off with regular polish.

Very disappointed. Ive been coming here for a long time and its always been great, however, unfortunately, things have changed. Work ethic and quality has diminished to sloppy and service providers are constantly distracted and more focused on whos walking in the front door than who theyre working on. I wont be back.

The staff was nice but the polish was old or thinned out so it didnt look smooth on my nails and if u want designs it is very limited

I went to Sky Nails for years while I lived in Middletown. I moved to Kent County a couple years ago and make it my business to go back there for Mark to do my nails! Ive tried many other salons in the past and my nails either chip or break off before my refill is due, but not when Mark does my nails! Everyone is friendly - great energy!

One of the best in Middletown. They get crowded on the weekend so I’ll suggest making an appointment.

Terrible . I made an appointment the day before for 1pm the next day and they had me waiting outside for an hour in the heat then let a woman that made an appointment AFTER me go ahead of me ... never again so disappointed.

Have been a loyal customer for a couple of years now. In general, I like the people who work there, services are good, & prices lowest Ive seen. However, I have learned not to bother making appointments with them. They do not book accordingly, & Ive still had to wait every time. This time was the worst...they booked me for an appointment along with 8 other people for the exact same time...knowing they only had 4 workers on duty. Was especially unhappy when they began working on someone who had walked in after Id already been sitting & soaking for 15 minutes. Totally unprofessional, unfortunately its time to find a new nail salon :(
