First time coming here and it was absolutely amazing!!! Brought my bestie here for some pampering before her big day and this team went above and beyond. Both of our manicures came out awesome (she got stiletto tips with a beautiful accent on the ring finger and I got a gel manicure) the pedicures were the best we have ever had!! such a great experience my first time in a new salon. Highly recommend 👍

If your looking for an enjoyable and pleasant experience dont go to Pearl Nails and Spa. The owner is a money hungry rude individual. Who is inexperience in the nail industry you can tell in her work. My nails were cracking and breaking within two days tops. She always in a rush to get to the next person therefore, she doesnt do quality work. I went back on another ocassion and theres another nail tech there that is a decent individual shes oriental and seats in the back. She did my mani and pedi and I was ok with the service until the rude owner rush her out of her seat to start another customer the owner quickly finished my nails. The owner is not a person of high standards and very unprofessional therefore I will no longer do business with this establishment.

Today was my first visit to the salon after reviewing the 5 star ratings on line. Upon entering the salon, I was initially impressed that I was acknowledged within seconds of walking through the door. My rule of thumb is to walk out if not acknowledged within 3 - 5 seconds. The young woman who did my manicure/pedicure was courteous, polite and a model for what quality customer service looks like. The salon is very clean and a welcoming environment. I will return, and would recommend giving it a try.

Prices were right on target, did not feel rushed and my nails came out beautiful. I will be going back.

First time here. I asked for the dip powder manicure. First, the nail technician didnt take her time filing my nails and making them look uniform. Also, every nail salon Ive ever been to will take the time to clean and cut my cuticles but this tech proceeded to begin the dip powder process without doing anything but the mediocre job on the nail file. When I asked about my cuticles, I was told it was $5 extra. I agreed but was told it could be done after my nails were painted. Then I asked how so when the color will cover up the cuticles? I was told the color is not painted over the cuticles. Needless to say, I left. When Ive requested my nails to be painted to my liking, that is what is done. Especially when the dip powder is more expensive than the other manicures and you get the natural growth, I like my color to be painted as close to my cuticle as possible.

I’ve had great experiences here! I mostly have worked with Victoria and she is AWESOME!!! Love the ombré gel! Definitely recommend!!!

WORST customer service ever, including the owner. They have no concept of bridal parties and being staffed appropriately for appointments. We were a bridal party who made an appointment weeks in advance, and they didnt have enough staff to accommodate us all. They made the bride cry and ruined her nails two days prior to her wedding. HORRIBLE place, not clean either. DO NOT GO HERE.

Clean, not long of a wait, actually a pretty good pedicure. Not 5 stars because my polish smudged on two toes. I may go back tomorrow to see if they will fix it. If so I will change the rating.

This was my 3rd or 4th experience with this new nail salon. Each time has been worse than the previous time. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this last time was the straw that broke the camels back.I walked in there with my cousin & barely received a welcome. Waited about 15 minutes & then was walked over to the chair where I was having my pedicure. The technician filled the water while I waited for it to fill up. As soon as the water was filled up a male technician came over to start my feet. No hello, no nothing! I explained to him that I wanted to soak my feet for 10 minutes. He sat there and looked at me & said that was too long. I repeated myself, and his response to me was if someone else comes in during the time I’m soaking my feet, he would take them 1st with a very cocky attitude. I responded by saying, but I was here 1st. I then said to him, “I can leave. Does that work for you?” He then walked away. After 10 minutes, he said something to the owner in their native language, which I think is rude considering they speak English, and then she sent a young lady over to do my feet.If my Cousin hadn’t already started her nails I would’ve walked out.I will NEVER go back there. I have already communicated this experience with many of my other friends that have been there & they all agreed with me & will not be back.I guarantee this place will be out of business in no time, as several of the reviews I have read are consistent with my personal experience.My opinion might have been changed if the owner would’ve come over, knowing the situation, spoke in English, apologized & corrected the situation at that time. Instead I’m certain they were talking about me. I really don’t care though! I work hard for my $$& & I will not give them one more cent!Stay far away from this place. They are way more expensive than other places and they are rude & unappreciative of their customers.If the man who did this to me, worked for me, he would’ve been fired right then & there!

Ive gone there 5 times I get acrylic on tips they use very little acrylic on the tips especially on the stress areas they dont seal the sides so the real nail separates from the tip.Also when they ask if you want them shortened I say just a little they always shorten them to my finger tips.Its obvious they are still in the learning stage.Im looking for another nail place.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the work that I have had done is good, however, when I make appts I am not seen at said time. I always have to wait. I understand being busy but an appt is just that, an appt. 3 weeks ago, I went in for a full set. I was satisfied with the outcome. Today I made an appt to be seen at 9:30 for a fill, when I arrived the staff were all busy and I had to wait. I was told to soak my nails, thought that was odd since this was a fill not a removal of the nails. However, I was told it was fine. Finally when someone came to work on my nails, my full set had been soaked all the way off. When I asked why were my nails soaked off, I was told if I want a full set I would have to pay extra. At this point I am extremely disappointed because this was not the service I wanted. I already had a full set and just wanted a fill. That should have been a simple service. Needless to say I will never return here.

Nails are done well. They last. Always busy. Prices are really good for all services.

Ive known the owner from a location I used to frequent and I was ellated to find her new location.The BEST manicure for natural nails and great selection of polish colors. Excellent skill application of powder gel, best place in Middletown without question.

Two stars 3 months later: I was thrilled to finally have found a clean salon with experienced staff. Three months later with manicure and pedicure visits about every 3 weeks, I am greatly disappointed by the decline in customer service, experience of technicians and to boot fluctuating prices.My last two manicure visits (dipping powder) took so long that a second technician finished one hand. The dipping powder not drying correctly or quick enough, she added what looked like superglue to the polish only to have my eyes burning and watering from the fumes. I left without my pedicure andcwith one hand looking entirely different than the other. The second visit again took an hour and a half with a second technician stepping in. My nails were filed crooked and again one hand looking different than the other. Again, I left to come back for my pedicure. Assuming a pedicure can’t go wrong, I returned. Only to have a woman who had absolutely no idea what she was doing give me the worst pedicure I have ever had. I now have to find a salon who can remove the wavy red gel on my toes and finish the pedicure I already paid for. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. Disappointing how quickly a business can turn for the worse. Possibly greed, possibly lack of good help, I’m not quite sure.Five stars 3 months ago: Not sure how anyone could rate Pearl less than 5 stars! So unbelievably happy to have finally found an updated, clean local nail salon with great service, friendly and skilled techs and a welcoming and attentive receptionist! Best pedicure and manicure I’ve had in a very long time. The young woman working reception offered great advice on colors and services and Kim was on point with my toes and fingers! Will definitely be back!

So I went in on Saturday around 2 o’clock my first time ever being at this place I walked in one of the ladies looked at me dumbfounded asked me what I wanted I told her I wanted a full set she gave me no response and continued what she was doing so I turned around and said down after a half an hour of waiting and nobody saying anything people coming in getting helped she then came to me and told me that she was busy she asked me if I can come back around 430 I told her I couldn’t she said well we’re busy now I would say this place deserves no stars because the customer service was not well at all I’m very disappointed I’ve heard really well things about this place and I got treated Like I was nothing!

I just had the worst experience that I have had at any nail salon or any business for that matter. I have never written a review before but felt it necessary to share. I walked into Pearl Nails for the first time and it seemed nice. My pedicure began and was fine, nothing special but fine. While my technician was exfoliating my feet he stepped away and answered a phone call about car/tire repairs and was away for nearly 5 minutes and then returned still on the phone and kept working. He hung up and said that he needed to leave to go get his car and asked if that was okay. I was so taken aback and just said alright. He then started my massage in such a rushed manner than I finally spoke up and said nicely that I didnt want a rushed service and that I had looked forward to this all day. It was then that his demeanor entirely changed. He argued that he would only be gone a few minutes or that someone else could complete the service (no one else was free or in sight). He then began speaking in an angry tone to another technician. He grabbed the hot towel and put it on my legs and absolutely roughed my legs up out of anger to the point that they still hurt nearly 30 minutes later. He was borderline hitting me while practically growling. I said that I wanted to leave and I got up. The manager then came over and tried to persuade me to stay but I was not interested in being there any longer. I then walked out and behind me the technician walked out (to go get his car I assume) and was cursing at me in the parking lot. I remained calm and courteous the entire time, but was shaking from what happened. I have never in my life experienced anything like this. When I got home I examined the work he had done and my toenails were jagged and crooked when he had already completed shaping them. DO NOT GO TO PEARL NAIL SPA.

If I could give this place negative 10 stars, I would. These people do not respect appointment times. I, the bride, came to relax and get my nails done with my mother and sister (with an appointment made a week in advance) and they decide to take walk ins instead because there was a child that was not sitting still. My wedding is this weekend and I have so much to do, and when my sister spoke up and asked why the person who was taking her current dip nail polish off left, they said because the child is not sitting still..who cares?! That is not our problem when we have appointments and there is an upset bride with half dip started when the woman says she is not finishing the brides nails and can leave. I have never in my life been so shocked by the professionalism of a nail salon. Despite apologizing, they did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. I would never in a million years recommend this salon to anyone, no matter how desperate they were to get their nails done.
