From the moment I entered, I was greeted with a warm inviting experience. From the barista station, to the overall relaxing atmosphere. I had stopped after desperately searching for a barber after I was ignored at a neighboring barbershop where customer service was obviously not paramount. Cyn and Terry are true gentleman and true barbers. I can not praise this place enough! They also offer 1/2 price cuts if completed by a student as this also serves as a barber school. I first reached out to Seneca back in 2012 to inquire about pursuing a career in barbering.. I started at the school that fall and the rest is history. I learned the very basics of mens hair cutting as well as lessons in customer service in the barbershop. Seneca is a legend here in the hudson valley when it comes to barbering and his school has put out some of the best barbers in the county... I now have my own shop with an extensive clientele and it all started with the help of that man when he took me under his wing and showed me the ropes, I owe a lot of my success to that man as well as the knowledge I obtained about the trade of barbering in his school

Many don’t know but the barber institute he created in Middletown allowed many young entrepreneurs to start and possibly expand their own businesses. I see Senneca every week for my weekly haircut for work and he’s always on time and on point and if not he’ll give you a call to let you know he’s running late or can’t make it. It took me forever to get this review but Senneca is a true leader in the community. Helping and also giving back to Middletown. A city I love.
