Squeezed me in at the last minute, while 3 other local barber shops wouldnt.Short wait, nice conversation, nice haircut.

I booked an appointment a few days in advance for a 9:00am haircut. I know the weather isn’t optimal but still I was able to make it on time and expect the same from Lisa. I would have even accepted a phone call or message in advance stating that you couldn’t make it in but that did not happen. Instead I showed up on time and the other employee said “Oh Lisa can’t make it today sorry.”I’m a dentist, therefore I know how to be responsible for my schedule and making my appointments. If I were ever to be late or not be able to make it in I would let all of my patients know in advance. They took down my name and number prior to my appointment date. There is no reason I should not have been contacted. Very unprofessional and unworthy for my time. I won’t be returning to such a place. Thank you for wasting my time

Ray is a fantastic barber. He takes the time to get to know you and what you want. The man is a true artist. If your not sure what you want to do just ask him and trust what he says. Hes the only barber I trust with working in my beard. He was the barber that got me cleaned up foe my wedding. He told me what he thought would look good and he was right. Highly recommend!!

I called for an appointment and had no trouble getting in. Clean place like the old Barber Shopps of old, simple and true. Great haircut and good chatter. Nobody just sits in a chair. Lisa is warm and friendly. Makes you feel welcome. I will return.

My stylist Rey is hardworking but he is not really professional at what he does. Rey spent an hour cutting my hair but the result looks horrible. I asked him to trim my tops and a fade on the side however it ended up looking like my hair was chewed by a dog.

Rogers does a great job. They use scissors buzzers and straight blades to cut your hair and beard. The prices are fair there are places in town that are cheaper and there are places in town that are more expensive.

***HIDDEN GEM ALERT***I had never had a good haircut in my adult life before discovering this place. Since Ive started going, Ive never had a bad one.The entire staff is great, but my go to is Ka, who is truly a master of his craft. He is thorough and meticulous, always asks exactly what I want even though he already knows, and his attention to detail is impeccable.Excellent value; more expensive than a $10 cut (but not prohibitively so), but well worth looking my best!

I only go because of Roger. He give a great hair cut and is an all around great guy.I have had the works time getting a good haircut. Then I met Roger at Dick and Arnies. Never had a bad hair cut since. Besides Roger is a great guy. Now all the guys in my office go there. Bedsides the prices are fair. $15 for a hair cut.

I have often thought of my haircut as just another haircut - but the stylists and barbers at Dick & Arnies make you feel like your hair is a piece of art. Id say my hair is pretty simple, but I really appreciate their work and care put in to making sure Im comfortable with the style. Good group of people here.I appreciate that they are very affordable as well.

These guys are legit. My dad has been going for years and I decided to stop by today. Ray did a fantastic job! Takes real pride in his craft. I have been going to turn and burn shops like Super Cuts for so long, I forgot that a barbershop barber takes their time and perfects what they do. GREAT CUT.

Best place to get a Mens haircut in Madison, hands down. Roger and the team are top notch. Ive never gotten a bad haircut here with any of the barbers Ive had, and I didnt have to break the bank to get it.

Ive been going to Ka for years. Hes a fantastic barber. The prices are fair, the staff is professional, and I feel confident that every time I visit I will be given a haircut that is of the highest quality. I do recommend calling ahead, as they can tend to book up fast.

Dick & Arnies Barber Shop is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The barbers are personable and seem to take a great deal of pride in their work. Ka, especially, has been terrific and has taken very good care of me.On my first visit to the shop Ka discovered that I was getting married in 10 days. He gave me a fantastic cut and told me to come back a few days before the wedding for a complimentary trim up. I was taken aback by his generosity and willingness to go the extra mile for his customer. From that day on he earned a lifelong customer in me.I highly recommend Dick & Arnies Barber Shop!

Great Service. A solid barber shop. Often I can walk in with no wait, sometimes only a short wait. Of the different barbers that have done my hair at Dick & Arnies, all of them have done a nice job that looked good even as it grew out.

I have been going here for years. When I first started, Dick and Arnie where still cutting full time. I now live 40 minutes away and I make the trip to Middleton once a month to have Ka cut my hair. Ive tried my local barbers and quick turn shops, but no one does it better than Ka. Call ahead and bring cash or check.

I will not be back here. Dick himself cut my hair and, albeit we had a nice conversation (my reason for more than one star) it looked like garbage once I had gotten in front of my mirror at home and I had to spend a half hour fixing it. I could have sat and had him fix all the long hairs he left sticking out but I had gotten from his demeanor as soon as I sat down that I was going to have trouble getting what I wanted out of him. Im not metro, and Im rarely picky about my hair since I started keeping it short (it grows back in a few weeks!), but to say Dick has his best years behind him is an understatement...at least in the hair world. His vision isnt good and even though I asked for scissors over the top, I got the clippers - giving me that ever-so-loved military cut. I would like to say that maybe the woman that was there cutting hair would be a better option, but she was very short with me when I walked in and gave me the impression that they are not trying too hard for new business. I gave this place a shot because it was close, Im new to the Madison area, and the price was good...but I will be paying double next time to go to a place that takes the time to give me what I want and acts like they want me there. Oh, and cleans up after the previous customer. I dont like sitting in and around other peoples hair.

I came here off of a friends recommendation, and was glad I listened to him. I got a fade from Ka, and couldnt believe how detailed he was. If he still worked here I would come, but Ka is now at K Barber Shop down the road.
