The employees here lie to book appointments and then switch up the prices on you and expect you to pay more. We had time lost at work to get tires needed in an emergency. I did call the manager to explain the situation. But they were unwilling to make it right. Most likely because it was planned this way when we made the appointment. We were told they had the tires before the appointment was made, made the appointment based on what we were told. then later they act like they had no idea who we spoke to..took no accountability for the false information what so ever. A good manager would have at the very least took accountability. Guess thats not how this company chooses to value there customers..Worst customer service Ive ever delt with. Dont waist your Time. ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS RIP YOU OFF bait and switch company. Should be ashamed.. calling better business bureau after this review..

I contacted this place about a problem with the car. They gave me what they could do and the price. It required a very high labor. He wanted $100 more for the part that was $8. After I left my car, he called me and said he couldnt do this and asked me to come and get it. He still doesnt know what he can and cannot do. The young man here is good, I dont know about the others.What does it mean to ask for $100 for a product that costs $8? Unbelievable. Dont come here except for tires. Come and research the prices thoroughly.

I brought my car in to change the rear brake pads and everyone was so kind and helpful. They worked with me to make sure we didn’t do anything that wasn’t necessary since I drive a pretty old car and I’m not planning to keep it too much longer. They test drove the car to make sure everything was working like it should be, and the price was very reasonable. I am so thankful and would definitely recommend them over other service providers in the area.

Today I needed tires badly as well as all valve stems replaced due to two bad tires this week. I called and the young man was super nice and told me to drop it off. Called when it was done and went back to get it. Due to unfortunate circumstances if co workers he was there working alone. Answering the phone, changing tires and had a great attitude. I want to say his name is Jamal. I hope Im right. This guy was so friendly, handled everything perfectly and we are stisfied with our purchase. Give him a raise, employee of the month or some gratitude because others would not have remained so kind under so much stress.

While driving across the country, i ran into some serious car trouble. It wasnt long before Phil had my back. Within four hours of calling the shop, he and his team had found, ordered and replaced the front catalytic converter in my car and sent me on my way for 1/3 of the cost of Grismer. I felt supported, and as if i was receiving honest and accurate information. If i were to remain in the area, id definitely be returning to this location. I went into the shop and was greated with a smile and a good handshake. Mike asked me what I needed done and he said we can take care of you. That made me feel great! These guys were great! My muffler had been loud, and I was sure I needed a new one and possibly a new converter. I brought it here and they checked it out for me. They worked on it for about a half hour while I waited in the lobby. I got concerned because they hadnt given me any idea on how much it would cost. The gentleman behind the counter came in and said Youre all set!. Turns out it was a broken bolt and they didnt charge me a dime to fix it! Ill take my car back for any service, because I know they wont rip me off or up charge as other shops do. Definitely recommend these guys!!!!!

This place has false advertising. The main website advertises free brake inspections so I thought I had a good deal. Most other auto service centers allow people to walk in and have the service performed on the spot. The person who was there told me I would have to make an appointment instead. So unless you would rather schedule an appointment and potentially wait for an existing problem to get worse, don’t waste your time going here.

Great and fast service. I quickly needed two new tires and got there after 10am, and I had the tires on shortly after on such short notice. The two working there were very friendly and helped me get home safely on the road with their service.

Not the easiest to find. Looks as if it is part of a car lot. Not sure.The guys are nice and helpful but the facilities need some help. The customer area isnt very clean. The guys in the shop have the music blaring (Im not that into rap) in the back which is clearly audible up front.The shop section where they do all the work appears to be very unorganized. If you have glass panels showing the work area you should have a presentable work space. Yes, I know it is an automotive repair shop, but still.It appears that they do not clean up before they get into your clean car. No gloves, floor mats, or seat covers are used while moving the car in and out.Not to mention they do not utilize the retail space very well to make additional sales.Again, great guys. However, ownership needs to put some work into the place to make it a user friendly experience.Went because of an email promotion they sent me. Poor job overall retaining me as a customer.

Update: Im so disappointed. Had brake work done there after hitting a pothole in April. The work seemed fine but a little overpriced from other quotes. We left it there because we trusted them, but there was a new manager. This week the brake line busted and fluid went everywhere. Thank God I wasnt driving at the time. Monroe said if it was related to the work they did before it would be covered. But they said it was a different part of the breakline and it would be $1,200 to fix it. That is in addition to the $850 from a few months ago. Over $2000 for brakes within six months? Im not comfortable with that. Priced out the parts at less then $200. The fix is not easy and requires special tools, but why so much in labor? Especially after we gave them so much business... Im paying to tow it somewhere I wont feel ripped off. ☹️.(From 2017) The manager is courteous and friendly. He was the only person I spoke with. He seemed very knowledgeable. He helped me get the best deal on very good tires the first time I went in and gave me a $9.99 oil change the second time. I will go back. I feel like they are honest.

I have had two vehicles serviced there this year so far and have had great experiences there. Mike is very knowledgeable and seems to have good techs and knows what is needed to get your car back on the road safely and with the best cost options. I will continue to bring any future problems with my 3 vehicles there first. I did not feel pressured to fix some problems immediately. Some things can wait and some should not..he will advise you as fairly as possible. Thanks.

I wanted so badly to be a long-term customer here, because Mike is such a nice guy and very customer oriented. But the techs are a whole other story. After having $700 worth of work done, there was one more diagnostic needing to be done to determine if I have a bad break booster or a bad master cylinder. To confirm which one was bad, the tech was going to take the master cylinder out and test it. Their theory was, if the master cylinder is good, then it’s the break booster that is bad. Here’s the catch, I never told them is that the fitting bolt on the master cylinder is completely stripped (It is so stripped that the bolt is a perfectly smooth circle! I even tried vice grips to get that sucker off, wasn’t budging. Even tried using penetrating oil and hammer, that sucker was stuck.) I only got the bolt halfway out. The issue is, Michael was supposed to take out the master cylinder to determine if it’s bad. I can 100% guarantee he never touched it. That bolt is still sticking halfway out of the master cylinder. The thing is, when I was trying to remove the master cylinder myself before I brought it to them, I paid special attention to how many threads were exposed, that way I knew if I was making any progress. Two threads were exposed when I gave the car to them, and when I got the car back, same two threads where still exposed. The bolt is only screwed in half way (because I was only able to unscrew it half out). Michael was suppose to take the master cylinder out to give it a final diagnostic before determining if my brake booster is bad or master cylinder is bad. So why wasn’t my master cylinder taken out? And why did Michael tell me that my master cylinder is good without looking at it a second time? And why did he say he was 99% sure the brake booster is bad? Ive never met a mechanic who told me hes 99% sure a car part is bad. Why would I pay almost $400 for him to fix the part that he isnt 100% sure is bad. Especially after the fact that the master cylinder was never removed from the car to do a diagnosis on it. Dont waste your time with these guys, Mike is a great guy, but hes not the one working on your car. When a tech tells me he removed my master cylinder (no you didnt, I have the physical proof it wasnt touched), and hes 99% sure I have a bad break booster (no I dont, I got a second opinion, break booster is great), there’s some kind of dishonestly going on behind the scenes. Can’t trust them. Turns Out, its my master cylinder thats bad, if Michael would have removed it and tested it, he would have known that. Instead, I almost paid them $400 to replace a good part. That’s insanity. The reason why am writing such a detail review on the bad experience is because I have proof that they told me they did service that they never did! I don’t want anyone else to get low balled by them. Especially Micheal. He seems like a dishonest dude. Like I said, Mike (the one who handles the customers) is wonderful. But he’s no the one working on your car. His friendliness can only go so far when it comes to the repairs being made on your car. I wish the techs had his passion!!!!!

The guys are great out there. They treat you with respect and not like some other places do.

I normally hate oil changes. The employees are often dirogatory or try to take advantage of me because Im a women. That was not the case here. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Upon seeing my out of state tags, they asked if I was going on a long trip and offered to rotate my tires for free. They ran around five diagnostic tests on various components and told me I did not need any work done. Most places will lie that something is broken to charge you more money but here they ran the tests and then told me I did not need to spend more money. At the end of my appointment it was raining, so they pulled my car I to the closest bay so it would be easy for me to leave and not have to get wet- a simple act but it showed they cared about their customers and not just their money. Overall, it was very positive experience and I will be sure to return here if I need an oil change next time I am in town.

Its a Friday at 2:00pm. I start hearing noises from the brakes on the front of my F-150. I see that this shop is wide open with all the bay doors up. So I decide to drop in and see if someone is available to look at my vehicle. There are no vehicles in any of the bays so I assume my chances are pretty good. When someone finally comes to the front desk to ask me what I need. I tell him Id like someone to look diagnose and than possibly repair the issue. He than told me that he doesnt have any technicians at the shop. That maybe there would be someone around tomorrow. Unbelievable why have your shop open if you dont have techs.

Ive visited this location for oil changes and Brandon has done a fantastic job for me; even staying late when I went in crying at 7:00 pm needing an oil change before leaving to go out of town; they were closing! Ive since returned twice for oil changes and am very satisfied with the service.

Needed a rack and pinion for my car and was quoted 600.00 at the time. Bring it in a few weeks later and they switched the price even with the paperwork shown of the price they originally told me. The new price the quoted me is 800.00, smh. They are only good for their oil changes and other basic services.

That’s a really (bad)place to fix or install your muffler in, I had an after market cat Back and I ask them to install it, and they do but they mess up my car, and I figure that they are not allowed to install after making muffler.now I have to fix the cat back, back bumper molten and the gas tank cover molten all of that of there work. So just go to anther place even if u gonna pay them more.

Is this place called The Tire Choice or Monro tire? Havent been here in awhile.

Several experiences. Bought 2 new tires. A few weeks later, my daughter said she thought new tires were a bigger size. I compared front to back and sure enough they were different. Now, we did receive correct tires and 2 free oil changes at no cost. Brakes. Got them fixed and my daughter brought car home and said they didnt feel right. I drove it and something was seriously wrong. Took it back. I was told required a minor adjustment. I sat and waited almost 90, while 2 mechanics totally redid them. Just a little bit afterward, the handbrake fell apart. I took the car elsewhere. The new shop fixed the handbrake AND correctly adjusted the brakes! I recently took my car for oil change. (Beware of the small print under the 9.95 advertised price, you have to open a Monroe credit card.) Supposedly the place is under new management, so I decided to go ahead and let them change the oil. The mechanic came out and told me my rear drivers indicator light was out, did I want it fixed. I said yes. A day or two later my daughter was following me someplace. Was I surprised when she told me that same indicator light was out. (She did not know I just had it replaced.) I didnt want to go the entire weekend with it out, so I went to AutoZone. I showed them the lightbulb Monroe put in. Surprize! It wasnt the correct one! I bought the correct ones and replaced both sides. Try to get money back. Mechanic told me only the manager can do it. I go back when the manager is there. Manager tells me that only the corporate office can authorize it. I havent heard squat.

STAY AWAY!! They straight lied to me! First I go in for an oil change, there running a 19.99 special. I pick the car up, the bill is 28.99 more than what I was quoted. No big deal. THEN THEY TELL ME THAT WHEN PULLING THE CAR INTO THE BAY THEY HEARD A GRINDING NOISE FROM THE BREAKS! SAID THEY LOOKED AT IT AND THE BRAKE CALIPER WAS SEIEZED BE A 600$ FIX FOR CALIPER AND NEW ROATARS AND BRAKE PAD! I DIDNT BELIEVE THEM SO I TOOK THE CAR TO STONES AUTO IN MIAMISBURG THEY LOOK AT IT AND TELL ME THAT THE CALIPERS ARE COMPELTLY FINE BUT THE ROTARS DO NEED REPLACED A 200$ FIX. LONG STORY SHORT I DIDNT TAKE THE CAR TO MONRO FOR THE REPAIR!! THEY ARE BAD BUSSINESS!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY WANTED ME TO PAY THEM TO REPLACE WHAT DID NEED FIXED BUT ALSO WANTED TO REPLACE PARTS THAT WERE WORKING FINE!!!

I advised beforehand that I had a new battery yet had to jump the car constantly. They ended up keeping my car overnight since they took the wrong phone number down and replaced my battery for free without figuring out why it drained so fast, so Ill just end up with the same problem again in a few weeks Im sure.

Told me 600 dollars to reconnect a flange. You need a whole exhaust system, what is that too much? well we can sign you for a credit card SCAM. Took it to another shop and 70 dollars later problem fixed.
