Do you enjoy dirty buses, not going on excursions, getting stranded for 3 hours in the keys, and a tour guide that couldn’t care if you got left behind? If you do then gray line Miami is your place. DO NOT USE THEM, if you buy the city pass leave the key west excursion off your trip. Our trip with them was absolute hell and I implore anyone that considers using them to go somewhere else. These reviews are not exaggerations and our day trip to key west was possibly the worst part of an already terrible trip

I am very disappointed with the company. my whole family was waiting for someone from the company to pick us up for a tour and they never showed up. the manager (according to her she was the manager: Rafaela ???) was very rude. We hired a service and I service was not fulfilled. At no time did we receive an email about the change of address from the starting point. In short, the company lied and disappointed a whole family, besides making us miss a day in MIAMI. I do not advise anyone to use any service from this company. I suggest that the manager be dismissed since she was extremely rude and at no time demonstrated to give a solution. She ended the call by saying that she had no more time to waste with us. absurd!

We booked our vacation through Costco and this is the company that was supposed to pick our family up at the airport and take us to our resort. We were stranded for an hour and a half before hiring a taxi out of our own pocket after already paying for Gray Line.I called them when our driver was 20 minutes late. After being on hold for 10 minutes, we were told they couldnt reach our driver, and would get back to us. This is the following day and we still havent heard back from them. On top of that, the lady I spoke to on the phone made no apology whatsoever, and then told me our driver was only 20 minutes late. I would not at all recommend this company, and were already planning to hire a taxi to get back to the airport on Sunday as we cant trust Gray Line to do what we paid them for. Huge rio off and disappointed in Costco for using them.

You can book a key west trip with double decker bus and its cheaper. Wish I knew beforehand. The breakfast stop is a waste of time. The food is not fast. coffee is good though. The bus stunk (smelled like old urine). The seats were broken. We stopped for breakfast at Evelyns on the way to Key West, there are not many options close and were given 30 minutes to get food. The kicker is we were the 4th bus to pull up and only had 30 minutes. Our tour guide had already her food preordered and was rushing us in line to get food (that I hadnt even had a chance to order yet) Key West was amazing.

The tour guide Tamara and the bus driver were so rude and so unprofessional. They forgot to make the last stop and drop us off at our hotel (as stated in the description that they would pick up AND drop off) then proceeded to complain and state that WE fell asleep and it was our fault that we “missed” our stop. We weren’t asleep! They never stopped at our hotel is what truthfully happened. Tamara and the bus driver kept speaking about us and how it was our fault and this and that while we were in the back hearing everything! No shame I felt embarrassed for them. The bus is also so outdated and dirty from the inside. You could see plaque around the windows edges from how they haven’t even been wiped down in months. The bathroom had no toilet paper and reaked of urine. When the “tour guide” spoke the speaker was broken and had a horrible sound along with her voice. There is also no break on the way back that isn’t mentioned in the description so if you must you WILL have to use their bathroom. There was no social distancing whatsoever either on the bus and it was filled. Overall expected a lot more for the price paid super dissatisfied DO NOT RECOMMEND at all. Thankful for the parasailing because that was fun and the people running it were awesome!

They stopped at a circle k with one bathroom with 45 people on the bus. Tour guide mumbled, he was difficult understand. Windows were dirty and difficult to see out of. They left the lights on in between dropping people off so you couldnt see anything out of the windows at night.

With confirmation in hand and money out of our bank account, we arrived at the pickup location a half hour early. Pick up time on confirmation/ticket was 6:15 AM. 2 and a half hours later, no pickup, no call, and no way to get ahold of anyone. No one answers the customer service line, we left message after message. No answer from the chat with the booking company, Viatour, to Gray Line Tours, either. Now we are in a rental car headed to the Keys ourselves. Which, judging by the other reviews, seems to be the better choice. I just feel bad because my husband had booked this trip for my birthday and he was so upset. If we dont get a 100% refund, Ill be filing a fraud complaint with my bank and the Better Business Bureau.

Should have read the reviews before we booked, but we went through Costco and trusted it unfortunately.First - nobody showed up at the airport to pick us up, had to pay out of pocket for an Uber, and didn’t receive a refund from them for their no show either.Second - booked a day trip to key west through them/Costco and so many things were ridiculous with that. We were the first hotel pickup at 6am and they were early and called threatening to leave if we weren’t out there right away. Also, being the first pickup you’d think you’re the first drop off (only fair right?) but they will say you’re the last drop off so you’ll be on the bus longer than anyone else.Third - we had to change buses while we were still in the process of doing pickups early in the morning because the driver felt like the bus we were on was unsafe. They also let people on with high temperatures of 99 & 100 without even wearing masks during the height of COVID-19. They sold tours on the bus before we got to key west and said if we were doing snorkeling we would have time to do the train tour also. Their prices to book through them were MORE expensive than booking direct online too. Then, we discovered there was not time for the train tour as we only made it to the first stop and realized we had to be back at the bus by 5:30 or they threatened (again) to leave us there. There wasn’t any soap or water or anything in the stinky bathroom facility on the bus either.Last - the bus we had switched to broke down on the side of the highway late at night!! Nobody even told us anything or let us know what was going on while we just sat in the dark, hot, broken down Bus in the right lane on a busy highway bridge. Ridiculous! Finally asked abo calling a taxi and was told that another bus was coming to get us. No apology and NO REFUNDS either. Don’t waste your time or money. Key West was lovely, just find another way to get there!

Please do not ride this bus if you want to comfortably ride to Key West. I booked ticket for my parents, my daughter and myself for a snorkeling trip to Key West from Miami. Our hotel was last pickup point so when we get in the bus almost all seats were occupied and we wanted to sit together for a 4 hour ride so we were forced to sit in the last row. After bumpy and noisy three hours we decided that on our way back we will not sit on the last row. Then there goes the tour guide telling everyone that the seats are fixed now and we have to sit on the last row. How is that fair? Either you assign seat nos or have first come first serve both ways? We had booked our tickets several days back, why not assign seats? After 500+ $ I atleast expect comfortable seats. Assign seat nos or ask groups to sit together so everyone can be together as group rather than each individual from a single group occupying all window seats. The tour guide did not know much and did not have anything unique to share. On way back when getting in bus she looked at me and said last seat and that was the last straw. I was not going to sit anywhere else since I did not intend to make a scene but her forcefully putting me and my 60+ year old parents in last row was what irked me. Please use another bus service if you want to enjoy the beautiful scenic drive and be comfortable in 4 hour bus ride. I never write reviews especially bad ones but this one I had to. People deserve to know.

Ohhh boy, where do I begin (keep in mind, Gray Lines is a 3rd party broker and not the owner of the tour bus)? We took a bus trip from Fort Lauderdale to Key West on a Tuesday. Our group was met by a van driver who told us he would take us to a hotel in Miami where we would board the actual tour bus and proceed on to our destination (not what we were expecting, but sounded okay as we were never given an actual itinerary to go off of). Once we got there, we were told the bus would pick us up at 7:15 sharp and that we could wait in the lobby. At 7:30, we were worried that the bus may have forgotten about us and after making multiple phone calls, they finally returned our call, at which time we learned we HAD BEEN FORGOTTEN ABOUT! Luckily, our van driver was not far away and had heard what was going on and was nice enough to return within 10-15 minutes to take us to our bus that was now picking up passengers at another location. Just before arriving at our bus, we blew a radiator hose, but fortunately we were able to limp it the rest of the way to catch our bus. The trip from Miami to Key West and back wasnt bad, thanks to our tour guide who was knowledgeable and had a great attitude (he was not a Gray Lines employee). The bus was a comfortable ride however, the AC was mediocre at best making for a very warm trip. Also, Grey Lines did not make any arrangements to get us back to Fort Lauderdale from Miami, but the bus driver was willing to go out of his way to get us back there, which he didnt have to do. I will say, our boat tour got canceled due to wind and they did refund our money within a few days. Based off our initial experience, would not reccomend using Gray Lines and would consider finding a different bus company to go with, as these guys seem to be less than reliable

Fraudulent 3rd party. They falsely advertised an Everglades tour on Expedia with non existent pick up locations (I requested Sunny Isles), that I printscreened when booking, and were also clearly specified on my confirmation email. The only pick up option was a 45min to one hour drive from wherr Im staying. When I tried to cancel, they reluctantly allowed me to do so, but I had to double cancel through Expedia as well. Without doing so I would have lost both the tour and all the money Id paid.

I attended the country music at Grande Ole Opry on 4/9/19 ordering it on the phone. The bus came within the frame time to pick me up at the hotel-designated location. Upon arrival at the event location, the driver told us to wait for driver Brian under the gazebo. There were two and I was waiting under one of them. Then when I realized that other boarding persons were not present, I asked an employee who directed me to the second one. There I consulted the security guy who wrongly told me to go somewhere else to meet the bus. There it was for another company and the driver of that company told me to go backwards and find the bus. At last I found it but I was annoyed to have to go through that ordeal to be able to go back home. I was scared I would have to spend my night at the event location. The driver who dropped us should know that 2 gazebos exist outside the theater and not only one. Miscommunication is not productive.

The company had me waiting in the scorching sun for more than 40 minutes. I saw 2 Gray line shuttles passing me by without even slowing down. When the hotel phoned the company, their excuse was that the first shuttle was full and couldnt stop. Which was obviously not true because I saw the shuttle pull into the driveway of the Marriott/Courtyard next door. And the second shuttle didnt stop because the driver didnt see anyone standing at the gas station. How could he? He didnt even slow down at the gas station. I have never had such an experience with any shuttle services in Miami before. GRAY LINE MIAMI is the worst shuttle service ever!

First of all, I applaud our Key West tour guide, Lily (Amarillis), who not only went to heroic ends (like picking us up at our hotel when we had forgotten to confirm our reservation, and keeping everyone calm when our bus died), and our driver, who kept us safe in some difficult moments. Our bus died an hour into our tour, to be exact, at The Intercontinental Hotel pick up spot around 7:30am. This meant we didnt have the 6 hour transportation time intermission at Key Largo for breakfast, which I was really excited about doing, and instead, waited for a replacement bus, then stopped at a little mall, fast food cofee and breakfast sandwich area. It was okay. I would have rather waited until 9:30am, and would have preferred a rest room area that wasnt panic-inducing to find, and then further panic-inducing finding my way back to the group. No one there to direct and help at the mall, and I am sure Lily was busy getting us back on track and arranging stuff. That said, the bus ride was fine, mostly comfortable, but very long. When we arrived, Lily made sure everyone had the extra touring they wanted--parasailing, scuba diving, boat tours, city tours. We selected Hop on, Hop Off, $35 pp, at Lilys strong recommendation--saying the hot, humid Key West climate wouldnt be good for walking in late November. It was 85 degrees; the humidity wasnt terrible; we could have easily walked the small town area where all of the main attractions were. But the $70 tour, with our HOHO guide, Heather, was fun, and we spent a 90 minute ride getting a grasp of the whole island. Nice. We wont need to do that again. And, the $70 included a $10 pp admission to the Hemingway Rum Distillery, which, I have to say, was the highlight of our tour. Woody was a great tour guide. We loved seeing how rum was made, tasting it, and getting a history and insight in Ernest Hemingways life and adventures. We had a seafood appetizer platter when we arrived at 9:30ish, and then had gelato for a snack--very good, and sushi and fish for dinner across from gelato. The ride back was very, very long. We were supposed to be back around 9:00pm but arrived back at our hotel at 10:30.I guess the worst part, and the reason for 3 stars and not 4, was the bathroom on the bus. My husband happens to have expertise in bus, train, and plane bathrooms--having been in vacuum sewage engineering for almost a decade--and he said the recirc wasnt working, whatever that means. I think, It doesnt flush would have been clearer. lol. Anyway, 12 hours on buses without facilities in good condition is not a fun time. Plus someone dropped the TP and it was soaked--so.... Lily, our driver, Heather, and Woody made the time at Key West memorable. But, Key West is not really about being West, as we think--it is actually a translation of Spanish meaning Isle of Bones. Well-named, because it seems a skeleton on its former glory, mostly a tourist trap with some fun things to do. We didnt parasail or scuba--so those folks might have had a more memorable time. For about $75pp it was a safe, sensible way to do the tour. A car would take half the time, stop where you want, but have a giant parking problem on the little isle. Maybe ride sharing an Uber could work?? It is 155 miles from Miami, so my guess is that 4 people could ride-share for about double the bus fare, but way more efficiently and stop where you wish. Obviously, self-driving is most convenient. Parking is about $25-$30 per day, but they say hard to get. And you would want to park and leave it, not use it to go and stop around town.

I had to struggle through the Gray Line hotline, which did not help because no one EVER picked up the phone. Although, when my travel agent called, they replied after two ringtones... You can see where their priorities are.The second time we went on the bus at the right entrance, the driver was not even speaking english or a very little. I guess his spanish was very approximate as well. We left at 09:20 am and had to stop at every other hotels on the list to pick up all the customers. Besides, the driver had a really unconventional way of driving : he was going all the way up and down on the avenues, turned and went back on the same avenues but a bit farther and then did the same thing again. This happened for each stop, we therefore lost at least 45 min/1h instead of going straight from A point to B point to get everyone and then leave for the Everglades. Finally, the driver was very unprofessional and didnt warn us with his micro for the stops, the schedule and the leaving times, anytime. Here is the worst.I do not reply to emails. (Sent a few days ago.)do not take a call. (I called several times the day before.)I can not get in touch.Since I could not help it, I was waiting at the hotel at the scheduled time for explaining the Web but it did not come. I wasted a lot of effort and time.Lowest. do not ignore! The agency gave me a refund. The precious time was ruined.I wish I had a look at the google map rating first.

The Key West Tour is a tourist trap for making a huge amount of money on your own by car. The bus has no air conditioning, it is hot and the break is too short for lunch.

Dear tourists ..... flee !!reserve for a $ 25 return trip to the dolphin mall. The driver arrived late for the appointment but never mind! He never came to pick me up at the meeting point. However, I contacted the booking service in the afternoon to confirm the time and place of the appointment. I presented myself at the meeting point 20 minutes before the time. Being early, I waited quietly except that the driver never arrived and of course the booking office was already closed. Forced to order an Uber to get back to Miami Beach. After several calls and emails sent, I am still waiting for a return email from them. A truly horrible experience! But above all, the most painstaking customer service. It is a shame to treat people this way. Take the example of your competitor sawgrass mills shuttle where the drivers arrive even before the pick-up time, the shuttle is very comfortable and above all they come to pick you up at the fixed location !!!Dont throw your money out the window by booking with these thieves !!!I booked a dolphin mall shuttle On December 1st and I asked to pick me up at 0735pm at Miami south beach. At 0720pm I was at the departure shuttle meeting for waiting for my pick up scheduled at 0745pm. Any drivers came to pick me up so I contacted you but your office was closed. I left you message to inform us that I was still awaiting for the driver. At 0820 still nobody came so I had to order a Uber to come back home. I m so disappointed about this trouble and I can’t understand why nobody emailed or contacted me. I booked a shuttle to avoid taxi charges and I had to pay a Uber.

Dont book Gray Line Shuttle to a Outlet !!!!! -.-Gray Line hasnt disappointed us yet. The complete range of hop-on hop-off buses is great and the staff are friendly and provide interesting information about the respective sights in an entertaining way.Only here in Miami does this not work at all !!!Todays destination was the Dolphins Outlet Center. We bought our tickets directly from the Gray Line website and it worked really well. This morning the bus that was supposed to pick us up was half an hour late, which can happen.BUT we were not told that you have to plan four hours for the return trip. After a short tour of Miami (approx. 2 hours) we reached the outlet. Our purchase was planned and shouldnt take too long. At 2:30 p.m. we wanted to go back to our hotel. Two buses were already ready! The first bus driver told us this was not his route. When we asked the second, he only pointed to the first bus leaving. Since we are on vacation, we thought ok, take it easy and ate an ice cream. The next bus came at 3:45 p.m. This gentleman told us that the next bus for this region would come shortly before 6 p.m.We then took a taxi ($ 60) because our vacation time was a bit too good for us.So far there has been no reaction from the operator, lets wait and see .... -.-

They are unpresentable. They work through other agencies like ceetiz and if something happens they are not responsible for anything. They dont pick up the phone, they dont answer mail.I have paid a trip to Bahamas that canceled it due to bad weather and does not return my money. Do not hire them. It is the worst company in this sector and by far
