Dr Waibel performed a laser treatment on my face and two days later I noticed the treated area was starting to get infected. That was Friday afternoon after the office closed. I called all weekend and no-one ever called me back. Finally on Monday they called and asked me to come in. So I had to wait 72 hours with a festering infection, on what is basically an open wound, before I was seen and treated. When I came in for my appointment I had to sit in the waiting room for two hours with an oozing infection because she was running behind. I visited Dr. Waibel a total four times and every time she was running two hours behind. The office has zero schedule integrity

Dr. Waibel is treating me for for scars caused by a very traumatic burn I received. She is using a combination treatment tailored to my issues that she developed for me specifically. I am extremely grateful to her and her staff for giving me hope in a very sad and uncertain time of my life. She is worth the wait.

I developed melisma a few years ago and nothing has been helping. I’ve had 3 sessions w dr Jill and it’s starting to finally disappear. Living in Miami is not helping but with a combination of meds, lotions and laser, I’m hopeful it will be gone soon. I couldn’t be happier with my results. I highly recommend her, the wait is soooo worth it! Remember; Good things come to those who wait!

I have rosacea, so my face was always light red with no acne when visited the doctor for laser treatment for my rosacea. Afterwards turned out extremely sensitive to the sun and acne on my forehead when I never had acne before and face turn more red then ever before.

Dr.. Waibel is a genius! I owe her a debt of gratitude. After a surgical error left me with a dent and hard lump in the middle of my nose, I looked for help. Surgeons pointed me to her. She took her time and through a combination of lasers, injections and cauterization, made the skin as smooth as could be expected. Her expertise is unmatched. I drove eight hours round trip each time I had an appointment and would do it again. Thank you, Dr. Waibel!

This office has a policy of demanding that you leave a credit card on file even if you prepay for the visit. There are no exemptions. I have been a patient of this office for over 25 years, and they don’t care. So I guess I need to find another doctor that values their clients.

This DR. is VERY um-professional and lacks a moral compass. I when to her for a simple procedure and ended up with terrible results. After she bragged about her ranking as a medical student at UM, she butchered my skin leaving with a horrible scar. I made 3 appointments to see why that happened?? I needed an explanation AND A SOLUTION!!.....she called the day of the appointments and cancelled all 3 of them. Never saw me again and at the last one, she refused to re-scheduled me in. DO NOT GET SEEN BY HER......SHE IS HORRIBLE!!!

Dr. Jill is good. Office is terrible. Enormous wait time and non responsive. I was referred by Dr. Jill fir a basal cell to another doc. He did not take insurance. Tried to contact office multiple times for another referral. No response. I even wrote a letter on my law firm letterhead requesting another referral. NADA. Very disappointed.

In the middle of a pandemic, the waiting room was packed with people, all of which went up and complained at one point about how long they have been waiting. The staff apologized, but one look at all of the google and yelp reviews will show you that this is a regular thing at this office.I waited for over 2 hours and finally left without ever seeing the doctor. I had driven an hour and a half to make the appointment, and had taken time off of work to make the appointment. In total, I spent 5 hours of my day for this appointment and never even saw the doctor.After reading their reviews, it is obvious that this lack of respect for customers time is common. They obviously dont give a sh*t about anyones time, or risk of virus exposure sitting in a waiting room for 2 hours!BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

I went in for a free consultation on a tattoo removal. They were recommended by another Dr who is doing laser hair removal. The staff was friendly. They have antibacterial when you walk in but it’s a liquid in small purell bottles, that look as if they’ve been refilled. I waited 30 min to be seen. I have 2 small tattoos, 1 is about 2 quarters in size and the other 3 quarters. Individually they charge $400 per tattoo per session but if I did them together then it would only be $450 for both per session and would need 4-6 according to their guess-timate. I had already been to ideal image and was quoted significantly less with a guarantee. The young lady who gave me the consult was offended when I advised her of such. Her demeanor after I told her was a bit defensive and the appointment ended quickly after. Both locations use the same laser but at ideal image you get a consult from the Dr while here you receive the consult from a nurse or equivalent (unsure what her nursing degree/background may be) Honestly, I was taken aback and balked at how expensive their treatment was.

Dr. Waibel is the best dermatologist, I highly recommend her.

Endless wait time! Could not wait any longer so I had to leave without seeing anyone…patients walking out after waiting extensively is the norm in this office.

AMAZING experience, Jill Waibel and her assistant went above and beyond to help me with my facial scar issues and discuss all of my options, she was extremely informative and her expertise shows greatly. Best decision made that I started going to her. My laser session itself was great and she was very thorough and took the time to really listen and address all of my needs. She was so sweet, she even helped me looking up stand-by flights since Im coming from out of state. Cannot wait for our next laser session! 5 stars! Cannot thank you enough!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable office. She is a popular Dr and sometimes waits can be long, in which case the staff will reschedule you for a less busy day (if asked). Ive rescheduled, and have been attended in a timely manner. Dr. Waibel is attentive and professional. Its clear, from my experiences with her, she wants you to be happy with her services. She knows what shes doing; it shows in her work and care for her patients. HIGHLY recommended.

She is such a lovely woman and very knowledgeable as well as her co worker Chloe. Also on a random side note I swear they hire only gorgeous people. It was a very pleasant appointment and I’d recommend them on their expertise alone.

She treated my daughter with a leg ulcer for 2 years without success. She then referred her to Kendall Regional for a skin graft. Luckily the ID and Podiatry recognized the problem and she cancelled her own surgery. She had perforator closure by me and the ulcer closed permanently. To add insult to injury she did not answer any of our calls post discharge and sent my daughter to collections!

The first time I went to Jills office it took over 4 hours of time to get treated. I approached the staff several times to get a timeframe of when I would get seen, and they kept saying “you’re next”, however this was never the case, but enough to bait you in. After the 4th hour I approached the staff to tell them enough was enough and I was leaving. Jill happened to walk in to the hallway during this conversation, and she started to get defensive and blame me, rather than have some empathy or understanding that making patients wait with unknown timeframes is unacceptable and disrespectful of people’s time. I took off half days from work and over an hour drive each way for Jill, who was inconsiderate of my time. So fast forward to another appointment knowing Jill is supposed to be “the best”, shame on me this time hoping things would be different, nope. Waited over two hours before I walked out and decided to not have treatment. I will never step foot into her office again, nor will I recommend her to anyone. Save your time and money for a doctor who respects your time or at least updates you that they are running behind, so that the patient gets the choice to decide if they want to stay or reschedule. Find a doctor who respects you!

A fabulous doctor with an even better bedside manner. She treated my son after a car accident with a variety of laser treatments on burns and scars on his abdomen. The treatments were very successful. After just watching her on “ help me Howard” Channel 7, where she is helping a burn victim for free shows what she is made of... a warm, caring and wonderful physician. Good job Dr. Waibel!!!

Dr. Waibel and her staff are amazing. My son has been a patient there for almost 2 years and has had 4 treatments completed. The laser treatments and steroid injections for my sons burn scar are working. I see that the bumps have smoothed out significantly even though we are only almost 1/2 way done with his treatments. She is kind, patient, and compassionate. She truly has a heart for children and knows how to make them feel like heroes after surviving a traumatic event. I highly recommend Dr. Waibel.

Worst experience! I was misdiagnosed for almost 2 years. She saw me several times, tried to “help” me. She ended up referring me to a plastic surgeon to put cadaver skin on a venous ulcer. It was easily fixed when I went to the right Dr. so sad two years of my life dealing with an open wound because she didn’t know how to diagnose it!

Dr.Waibel is amazing! Wonderful office staff, very professional and sweet! The office wait time can be average to high at times but it is also because once she is with you, she gives you her undivided attention. She is worth the wait, she knows what she is doing!

If i Can give this place a 0 i would, SO Disrespectful and when you go there you lose your day waiting even if you have an appointment. I went there three times for treatment and every time its the same exact thing and i would wait up to 3 Hours, people would come after me and their appointment is after mine and they will be done within 30-45 mins at Max, and im still in the waiting room waiting and being told that im next. Last time after waiting for over 3 hours and literally i as there even after clinic hours i left without getting my treatment because they were very disrespectful.

I was referred to her by a dear friend was hoping for better service. First visit waited an hour and a half past appointment. Second visit over 45 minutes past schedule, and they did not call script in properly so my son missed taking his pills according to schedule....looking for new doctor......

Very disappointed with Dr. Alonso. I explained that I no longer want to use topical medication for my Rosacea, and wanted to know if there were other options. I explained the current prescription ointment I was using works great, but I was interested in knowing if there was a laser or treatment available to treat my condition since I was tired of depending on medication. A simple no is all I needed to hear. however, he went on to prescribe 2 medications and 3 different washes and ointments. He also wanted to prescribe antibiotics! in other words, he did not listen to my concerns.

Dr. Jill is amazing!!For years I had problems with ingrown hairs on the left side of my face. I have gone to see many different Dermatologists and even Cleveland Clinic.None of them were able to take care of my problem. I wish I never had gone here. I would give this place a 0 if I could. It has been months after my laser scar removal, and my scar is INFINITELY worse than it was before I had done the procedure. I am so sad and I regret it so much. I go to get a small scar removed, and it makes a bigger, more noticeable scar. On top of that, none of the staff informed me about how painful it would be. I mean I can handle pain, but a heads up would have been nice... and yes, I followed all pre and post procedures exactly how the paper I was given said to. Also, my appointment for my procedure was at 2:30, and dr. waibel didn’t attend me until 4:30 (very inconsiderate).

Never saw the doctor, sat in the waiting room for an hour with an appointment. When I checked in with the receptionist she said it was still a significant wait. As a business owner, that would be completely unacceptable in my office. Disappointed and complete waste of my time.

I love this office. Dr. Waibel is extremely competent AND has an excellent bedside manner. Her staff is also extremely professional and easy to work with. Wait times can be long, but I think this office is well worth it - just plan ahead. I bring my computer and jump on the Wifi and get by fine.

I am 3.5 months post treatment and the only regret I have is not going to Dr. Waibel SOONER. I had stubborn hyper pigmentation after a chemical peel I had done in 2016. Hydroquinone did the trick for a couple of months but as soon as i stopped, the hyperpigmentation seemed to come back with a vengeance. I was skeptical in regards to how my skin would react after the combination laser. My skin is SO much better after 1 Tx. Proper skin care and protection is a MUST pre and post treatment.

Excellent doctor but extremely long wait. When Dr. Waibel came in and I complained about waiting time, she denied that I was waiting that long and told me if I wasn’t happy with her care that I am free to go elsewhere. I was so disappointed because I really think she’s a great doctor, but I can’t get myself to go see her again because of her disrespectful treatment. It really made me feel that I was unimportant to her as a patient. Dr. Waibel, I know you have more concerning patients to deal with, but every patient should matter to you.

There are no words that can describe what Dr. Waibel has done for me. Prior to meeting her, I had been seen by a plastic surgeon and 2 other dermatologists. All had done traditional care for keloids that were a result of a burn I experienced as a child. From the moment I met her, I knew she would do everything in her capabilities to help me. I wasnt expecting for complete removal of my scars but some improvement. After just 2 laser sessions with Dr. Waibel, I have seen SIGNIFICANT changes in my once stubborn scars. Keloids are complex but her intensive work studying scars is evident. Im excited to continue my treatment plan under her care. She and the entire staff have made my experience one that I will always cherish. Sure, there are many qualified dermatologists in South Florida but none that can compare to Dr. Waibels qualifications AND bedside manners. Grateful to be under her care.

After an hour and a half of waiting, I was told she would be in in about 10 to 15 minutes. I have no idea who Dr. Weibel thinks she is, but my time is as valuable as hers. What a lack of respect towards the patient.

Just one word to describe this office - Joyful!! Not to say they arent personable, or understanding or even amazing, but Joyful says it all. Ive been suffering from severe eczema and one of my Co-Workers referred me to Miami Derm and Laser Inst. I never went to a doctors office to talk about my eczema because Ive always been insecure. But I needed help, so I called with a lot of hesitation and fear. A lovely woman picks up and of course whats her name - Joyful - the ease that I had opening up to her about my insecurities, zenful feeling that I got when she spoke!!! All hesitation and fear went out the window. I believe that if every doctors office had a customer service coordinator like Joyful, patients will experience an environment filled with care, love and home - all of which a patient looks for in the waiting room. I had second thoughts, but NOW I am super excited and filled with confidence for my first visit to this office. Thank U Joyful! And Thank you Dr, Waibel - because your employees are only a reflection of you!
