We went in as new patient and on an emergency. From the minute we stepped into the office, the front desk, dental assistant and dentist were A1 with caring for my daughter. Dr. Rafael Llanes treated her. He noticed she was a bit scared and nervous so throughout the whole procedure he talked her through what he was doing and continuously praised her for being a good patient. He thoroughly explained at home care as well and what to expect next visits to come. While checking out, my daughter said to me “I like this dentist”. For those words to come out of my daughter it lets me know he did a great job. Thank you to all involved in our experience. It was truly an amazing one especially for my daughter. Thank you for the great care.

I have to rate Otero Dental 5 stars!! I absolutely love coming to my appointments. From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated like family by all the staff members. My hygienist (Angela) is by far, the best individual that has ever done a cleaning on me, absolutely AMAZING! Plus she educates me on how to take care of my gums properly. The Otero dentists are phenomenal and have treated all my dental issues for years absolutely pain free!!! Ive had bad experiences with dental offices in the past, but Otero Dental is the ONLY place that I trust for my family. The admin staff is very professional and right on target. I never have any issues with billing or scheduling appointments. Always a pleasure visiting Otero Dental!

Dr. Otero´s office does not feel like your regular dental office, it truly feels like home. From the front desk when you´re greeted, the assistants, hygienist and Dr. Otero himself all make you feel part of a family. Or maybe is it like you feel they´re part of your family? My mother in law is 83 years old. She is a patient of Otero Dental Centers. She requires more dental care than an average patient. She is no longer able to do a good job herself. She visits Dr. Oteros office at least 3 or four times a year for cleaning and checkups. The doctor and his staff are professional, warm and accomodating. My mother in law is in a wheelchair because of severe back arthritis and they do their best to keep her comfortable and take care of her quickly. I highly recommend their services. Angela is their cleaning technician and she is wonderful!

Dr Otero- both Father and Daughter, are amazing. I opted to take my children to Dr Otero, only to see that the pediatrician dentist completely messed up a filling and created more damage. My son (7 Years old) got fillings replaced, a big procedure, and left with a smile. The next day he asked me when we could go back because Dr Otero was so funny.

Be warned. Get the bottom line, before you get in the chair. Was told insurance would cover 2 cleanings per year on the phone and in person at this location. I get to the office and was rushed to the chair and during the cleaning they begin to verify insurance to find out that insurance is covered at otero in kendall and homestead. Charged $90 for 1 cleaning that was supposedly to be free twice a year. Scammers! Would like my money back.

Since I moved to Miami from Texas about 5 years ago, it took me a couple of tries to find a highly professional, well-trained, and experienced dentist like Dr. Alexis Otero. I am very happy with the dental treatment, and the professional and respectful treatment I get in her office. Her work is impeccable. I never felt any pain or discomfort during or after the procedures. She definitely changed my attitude towards going to the dentist - I dont have to mentally prepare myself to suffer anymore. This is a family-run clinic, and they take great pride in their practice and in their patients satisfaction. I have been a patient of that clinic for 19 years, unfortunately I had an economic mishap and they dismissed me as a patient, I have paid a fortune between my children and me, they had no consideration for all this time that we have been patient, they are liars, Mercy lied to me in my face to collect more than 3 thousand dollars for a service that I did not get, they are shameless. Keep in mind that apart from being super-expensive, the service is not the best.

First visit, I arrived there with my wife and the treatment was very friendly. Dr. Gonzalez excellent with an excellent explanation and charisma, the Dr. who attended me was very special (really special and I also have to go again) although I forgot the name of the nervousness hehe and the assistant Migdi were very delicate when treating with a fearful100% to white coats. I am sure this is one of the best decisions I have made and I wish to continue being part of your patients.
