Excellent practice, the team very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, explain in plain language the treatment and procedures, Dr. Cascante is excellent, I am not surprised he is one of the best in the nation, the office is impeccable I am glad he is my familys dentist.

Excellent experience at this practice. Dr. Cascante is definitely an expert in his field. The two cavities he fixed left my teeth in better looking shape than before. He also extracted a wisdom tooth very fast and well as I hardly had any bleeding or swelling after. His staff is very friendly too. Highly recommend!

And they took my X-rays and later the doctor told me he did not do extractions that I had to go to a surgeon. So far, I still waiting for the staff return my call regarding a referral surgeon doctor. NO LES IMPORTA LOS PACIENTES . Very upset to see how more important is to charge the X-rays to my insurance. Horrible experiencia.

Excellent doctor and the front desk was very friendly and professional. I needed to do a few fillings and they were booked. I was told that if someone canceled they would call me and they did. I am terrified of going to the dentist and I actually went because of the reviews I read online and my best friend recommended him. I felt no pain or sensation not even when he was injecting the anesthesia. If you are afraid of the dentist or had previous bad experience with a dentist before this a the doctor to go to.

Quality of care and patient experience is exceptional

I called the office to inform them that I would be 10-15 min late for the hygienist. I had 2 appts, hygienist first then procedure. The receptionist checked and stated that it would be OK to proceed. When I arrived in the afternoon, I waited an additional 15 min without any updates and was asked if I did not mind paying for all my treatments in advance? I complied. I was then informed to enter. I was brought in by a technician for the procedure first. I asked if it was OK to have the procedure BEFORE the hygienist and she replied yes. I inquired again for her to verify and she left and returned with the same answer. The procedure took place and I waited in the room to be told when to go to the hygienist. No one returned; meanwhile the tech is cleaning where I am located. I got up and asked the front manager when I was to be seen by the hygienist and she informed me that she apologized but b/c I was late I was not going to be seen by the hygienist. Imagine my surprise after communicating numerous times to 2 individuals the final result was incompetence.Keep in mind, they requested payment for both hygienist and procedure in advance. Interesting...It would also be appreciated not to be addressed as honey or hon when spoken to. In todays work environment, it is extremely difficult to coordinate time to care for self, the least requested from the service end is clear, repectful and transparent communication.

I joined this dentist office about a year ago. Within the year, I had few appointments. One of the appointments, I had to wait about 3 hrs from my appointment time to be seen. I had an appointment today at 9:15am. They sent me a text asking if they could switch appointment to 10:00am. I called the office and a lady picked up. I told her who I was and She said stated that the office wanted to know if they could change my appointment from 9:15am to 9:45am or 10:00am. I said that will be fine. I arrived around 10:10am-10:15am due to massive traffic. They said they can’t see me because I arrived 15 min late. They give patients a 15 min window for arrival. I arrived within that time frame and accommodated them with the appointment change, but they refused to see me. On the other hand, I had to wait 3 hrs to be seen on a previous appointment. I live in Homestead and selected this office according to many wonderful reviews and the positive vibe I got from the initial consultation. Today, They didn’t care that I came from far away to be seen. they just cared about their schedule. I understand appointments need to be kept accordingly, but on the flip side, I was inconvenienced when I had to wait 3 hours on a previous appointment. My family is leaving this practice and will be finding another office that understand and want to help there clients. Side note- I’ve spend hundreds of dollars, possibly over a $1000 with procedures in this office, and they are not humane enough to understand.

Highly recommended!!!!!! I got the 6 month braces done here and my teeth look fantastic. I had lots of gaps, but now my teeth are straight and together; Im always getting compliments. In addition, the staff are great. They make you feel like family and are super nice. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my dentistry needs.

Dr. Cascante is awesome! I went to his office for a yearly exam and cleaning and then decided to do 6 month smiles braces to straighten my teeth. He was very thorough and explained everything and answered all of my questions. During the placement of the braces he was very gentle and explained everything he was doing. UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!My son arrived for an appoint to fill cavities, was placed in the treatment room and waited over three hours for the dentist. When I inquired to the receptionist, she made apologies for the procedure taking so long, but never in formed me my son wasnt being treated. When my son sent a text that the dentist hadnt seen him, I asked the receptionist to get my son and we would reschedule. The dentist then rushed in the treatment room, started drilling on his teeth so I couldnt take him out until the procedure was completed.If the dentist is too busy with other patients that he cant meet his scheduled obligations then he should communicate this to the patient and parent waiting. His behavior was disrespectful, unacceptable, and unprofessional.I spoke to Dr Cascante the day after the above incident. Oscar provided a very sincere apology and free movie tickets, but he became very defensive after I recommended he and his staff improve communications to avoid this issue in the future. Oscar then blamed me and my son for the issue. His failure to take responsibility for the issue is very disturbing.

Great, Great from the Dentist to the staff. I went in with my bottom right molar in severe pain with an abscess and within 2 hrs had x-rays and my tooth pulled. I was so happy to hear that right then he could pull my tooth and get me out of my pain. The dentist was so good that when he went to stitch me up I thought he still needed to pull my tooth. This is the dental office Ive been looking for and it isnt that easy to find one. The dentist didnt try and come up with ways to get me to do expensive work just told me honesty what was wrong and what he could do to fix it. If I could give more stars I would and Im picky.

HAPPY WITH DENTIST AND HYGIENIST BUT..........I have had Dr. Cascante as my dentist for many years now and I have been happy with the services he has provided me so far. Im also very happy with my hygienist, Jenny.But for quite a while, I have not been happy with how the office staff charges me for services provided. I go every three months for a cleaning and every time I go the office charges me a different fee for the same exact cleaning.My whole family also goes to Dr. Cascante. My husband took our son (who is autistic) to his appointment, made a month ago for check-up and cleaning. They wanted to do an extra service in the amount of $60.00 dollars to which my husband said NO THANK YOU ! .They only provided our son a cleaning, but not a check-up. They said my husband couldnt wait for the check-up and left, which that was Not True!

Having been a professional woodwind artist from a very young age, my dental health has always been vital to my overall success on my instruments. Whether it be saxophone, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon or even voice those muscles around your mouth are supported by your teeth. In addition I have traveled most of my young adult life performing all over the world and thus have been unable to have home base until now settling in Miami, Florida since 2012.My previous dental experience was excellent. I had two on-lays done in Sacramento, California by a dentist from the University of the Pacific. His work was excellent and I had been contemplating returning to Sacramentos Rancho Cordova just to continue the great care. Also they had worked with me on paying off the tremendously expensive procedures as is the case with dentistry, it is what it is right..This takes me to my present day Miami experience. I had been given a groupon last Christmas 2016 and had put it off in fear of my mouth (now 8 years without dental care) needing a laundry list of improvements. I had no pain at this point nor did I wish to have a whiter smile. I called Dr Oscar Cascantes office and asked for an appointment but they had no openings which made me think that just like a restaurant, when the food is good you wont be able to get a reservation. I persisted with no luck and one day just decided since I was going to be in the neighborhood to stop by...I walked into the Center and sat down waiting paitently for my turn. I was attended to rather quickly (I guess there were a lot of cancellations that day) and all staff was professional, efficient and amiable.The doctor is an all star without a doubt, he has a commanding presence upon meeting a new patient that is real, organic, sincere and wanting to help you achieve your dental health goals and that is why I stuck to these people like glue. He is expensive but like all good things in life..you get what you pay for and here I got a laundry list of issues he wanted to get done.It took me 8 visits, I never missed a visit was always early in hopes of finishing early, we got done right before Christmas 2017, they were able to make an installment plan to pay everything off and offered me follow up visits, a great guarantee; fast forward to today June 2018 and I am in the best dental health of my life. All fillings updated, on-lays intact, new crown replacement feeling great and my general bite/alignment in tip top shape.My dental hygienist is aggressive and much appreciated which helps deter any new problems from arising. I can only say I am glad I walked into Dr. Cascantes office, to this day I am one of his sources of free marketing recommending him to all my friends, family and musical network. You will not regret going to this place and his work speaks volumes of his character. He is a happy bee buzzing away at your teeth turning the frown upside down. I will be back in December for my cleaning and exam and hope to send many more clients their way before then. Horrible experience, first off they didnt let me in for my sons procedure (and he is a minor) due to the space, the staff is extremely rude as they always charge more than they are supposed to charge. My suggestion, if you have your heart set to go to Dr. Cascante for your dental care, call your insurance company and get a detail list of the services covered before hand...Very disappointed, will be taking my kids some place else.

I have been going to Dr. Cascante for many (many) years now and I wouldnt change him or his staff for anything in the world. They are probably one of the most accommodating offices Ive ever dealt with, and they treat me (and all their patients) as family. From their courtesy calls as reminders, to their prompt response with billing questions... they are always readily available to be there for me and never make me feel like I have to solve any issues alone. They make sure all my dental procedures are explained in detail and they always return my calls before the end of the day. Dr. Cascante has THE BEST bedside manners; hes personable, gentle, honest, funny and cordial. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Dr. Cascante and his entire team and staff. If you have been looking for amazing, gorgeous work, great bedside manners, amazing and courteous staff but are deadly afraid of the dentist, stop your search and look no further. I promise you wont regret it.3/20/18 Update: I recently had the 6-month smile braces done by Dr. Cascante and just when I thought I couldnt be happier with him, I was once again proven wrong. I had excessive crowding on my bottom teeth and I was able to get the clear braces on and fix my teeth in less than 6 months. My teeth are now close to perfect and beautiful all thanks to him and his staff. The braces were a breeze; no one even noticed I had them on. I was never uncomfortable, and if at any given point I was nervous about the unknown, Dr Cascante and his entire Staff always made me feel at ease. My visits there are always 5 star. Dr. Cascante is the best dentist. I have always been terrified. But ever since going to him im ok with the dentist now. And the staff is great. Always caring about their patients.

I have mixed feelings about my experience at this office. I understand that the experience for everyone is not the same and that everyone has different expectations of their treatment so heres my story. Lets start by my initial visit. Upon coming in, the staff was polite and accommodating. During my visit, the doctor mentions I am eligible for the 6 Months Smiles program (which in their words is exactly the same as traditional braces just faster). After discussing the process and reading over the procedure, watching the promotional video... I agree to the treatment. Fast forward to when my braces are taken off. My teeth do not look anything what I imagined it would. I still had an overbite and my teeth looked a little crooked. After expressing my concerns on how my teeth looked, The hygienist tells me that its an illusion and that the discoloration of my teeth is causing it to look like one tooth is pushed forward. (uhh... Im pretty sure thats not the case... but any way.....) The hygienist also goes on to say that if I wanted correction of my bite and a perfect smile that I should have gone with traditional braces... (uhm, excuse me. what?-I thought you guys told me that the program would be just like traditional braces but faster... She just responds No, then youd have to go for traditional braces for any corrections and that 6 month smiles is mostly aesthetics -- yeah Ill let that marinate for a minute) Then after calling in a second time expressing my concern, the response to my concern is that the DNA of my teeth are causing my mouth to look un proportioned and that its not the treatment but my teeth. My teeth were all aligned (my bite was straight) but something just wasnt right. Im going in today to get the impressions of my teeth for my retainers.. my only concern is that its going to be a retainer for my crooked tooth smile.Issue #2: During my initial visit they took an x-ray of my mouth and attempted to also take a panoramic x-ray of my mouth. However, the machine was broken so no panoramic x-ray was taken. Almost 9 months later I receive a bill for $135 and freak out because all my balances were paid (confirmed by the receptionist). It turns out that the office mistakenly billed for that panoramic x-ray. After going back and forth with the insurance and the office.. Im responsible for the balance because the time allotted for billing has passed and the office is not getting paid (not my fault) but I become responsible anyway. Go figure. Though my experience has been quite uncomfortable... Ill give the office 3 stars because my teeth in fact do look better than when I first came in. I just wish the staff along with the doctor would be more conscious of their lack attention to detail.

I went to see Cascante for annual cleaning, first they did not finish the cleaning stating that I needed to go back again and pay more money (rude hygienist), then I saw Cascante and he told me I that I needed for to five crowns, I went for a second opinion and I was told that I DID NOT need any, what a shame, what is wrong with Dentists? patients complaints of your procedures Cascante, even in your waiting room office, you should have more ethic with your clients/patients.

I initially found Dr.Cascante through an internet search and read each and every review and was impressed with all the praise he received. I carefully chose Dr. Cascante because of the extensive dental procedures I was anticipating. Now, after having all the procedures done, I have to say that he deserves every accolade he receives. Dr Cascante is not only an outstanding Dentist but also an extremely nice, caring and compassionate person that truly cares about your well-being. His entire staff also deserves the highest praise. They made what could have been a harrowing experience into an enjoyable one.I truly cant say enough nice things about Dr. Cascante and his staff and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great dentist.
