I honestly used to be afraid of the dentist but not anymore. They answered every question/concern I had and were very patient with me. The office is very clean and everyone is so friendly. Im very happy I found them!

The office is clean and they took the time to explain to me the treatment and cost involved. This is my third visit and I really cant complain with the service. The staff is always friendly and so patient with me. Their office is also very modern and sanitary. What I like the most is that the dentist is so patient with me. At 34 years old she babies me and takes her time to ensure I feel comfortable.

This place is amazing! My mom (Leticia) and I have been going to Dental American Group (Sunset) for a while now, and I have never had any problems with them. The place and the staff are awesome; they are always so nice and patient, they make you feel comfortable and secure. Me and my mom personally love Dr. Vivian Menendez. Corrupted place. Yes, it is very clean, the service is good, but they will do anything possible to charge you for things that you dont need.After 6 months of taking care of my teeth, when I visited them they claimed to find 11 cavities in my mouth! That is ridiculous! They proved it by showing me every single dot in the x ray which is not necessarily a cavity, but since you dont know what a cavity looks like, you have to accept it, then, they fool you like a dog.Obviously, because of that amount of cavities, they charge me a big amount of money. So I decided to visit another dentist (a friend of my father) for a better price. Then, I ask them for the estimate of the total work I needed to be done in my mouth (which every clinic should give you), and it was a problem to get it, they sent me something different into my email, they refused to give it to me in person for no reason. If they were avoiding to give me that paper, it means they were HIDING something. It was obviously a lie and they were trying to STEAL my money. PLUS, they say the dentist friend of my father was not a professional, there you have another lie, and an offense.Its been about 3 years this happened and they didnt detect any cavities in the other clinics, even more proof that they were lying, for 11 cavities! Come on!I honestly never got a lawyer to resolve this problem because its expensive and, in the end, it wasnt worth it.I strongly dont recommend you this clinic. Yes, its clean, smells good, service is great, but its all deceiving. These people will try their best to STEAL your money and charge you for illogical reasons.

My experience at dental american group has been amazing! I would recommend this office for their excellent customer service at all times. My dental concerns are now taken care of. So far I am quite pleased. There is a lot of work that needs to be done and they are doing an excellent job. I thought I was going in to see Dr. Campos, whos name was on my referral but ended up meeting Dr. Menendez who is awesome!!! She took plenty of time to examine and explain what work needed to be done and how it would be approached. The whole staff is great too !!! Btw I drive all the way up from Key Largo to see them.

Lets face it, going to the dentist isnt something we really look forward to, and Im no exception. However, after taking the lunge and becoming a patient of this office, that changed - for the better! Everyone was very professional, kind, caring and overall, knowledgeable. I first started my dental work in 2013 ( I had really bad teeth), and just finished my last visit for my Invisalign treatment with the biggest smile on my face. Now Im doing the whitening with them as well. I have referred friends and family, and definitely recommend giving this place a shot if youre in the market for a dentist!

I’ve been coming to this office for quite a while and have always had a pleasant experience. I come regulary for my cleanings and have nothing but great things to say ahout the hygienist Yilsy. She is caring, gentle and very thorough. I always receive great attention from the staff. I know dental visits are not the funnest but atleast going to a place that has a great environment makes it easier to do!

I had made a phone call to this office to make an appointment for a wisdom tooth consultation. I spoke to a girl named Viví and told her it was a wisdom tooth consultation and she made my appointment for a Saturday. I arrived to my appointment and waited an hour and 20 minutes to be seen!!!!! A consultation should literally be at least 15 minutes but no. When I got up and told the girl, she said she would check for me, another 10 minutes went by and nothing, so I got up and told them again.... someone else came out and asked me to come in the room 5 minutes after my complaint only to find out that I couldn’t do a consultation because there was no surgeon and they couldn’t help me. The other girl referred me to another place but I was furious. Vivi had scheduled me for a cleaning which I obviously did not call for that. She even told the other girl in my face that it was for a wisdom tooth consultation so why on earth did you put me for a cleaning KNOWING that I’m here for a wisdom tooth consultation? RIDICULOUS... not only did I waste an hour and half for NOTHING. I drove all of this way for NOTHING. Viví was clueless and uneducated. I myself work in a doctors office and it’s disrespectful to someone’s time to do such a thing. They obviously need to do some rehiring. I will definitely not be coming back due to lack of professionalism and work experience. Thanks for nothing!!!!!

Ive been to several dentists place before, and this one was was the one i remained with for the past 3 years. The environment is very clean and nice, not only aesthetically but also the people. From the receptionist Chabeli, to the hygienist Yilsi, theyre all very friendly and attentive. Theirs no delay in scheduling or procedures, and everything is done in a timely, courteous and professional manner. Yadira, the manager, is also very nice and most importantly upfront and clear in the procedure and all the financial payment options available. Shes also considerate and will work with your situation. This is the reason why i always go here and have recommended several friends too.

I believe that reviews are based on personal opinions, still, when I look for a doctor or a dentist, I always, like manny people this days, do a research online and then go meet them.With American Dental Group, at 10728 SW 72nd Street Miami, was different, the first time I visited,I needed a dentist that will take me without an appointment, did not make me wait for hours, and will charge me reasonable, price, accordingly with my nugget. And without any research, the moment I enter their office, I felt like I was in the right place. Starting with the young ladies at the reception, that always been very professional as well as sweet and very helpful and so accommodating and concern about my necessities, no matter what my situation is, they always make feel like nothing is more important than my health. Dr. Vivian Menendez Llera and my hygienist Veronica Arellano together with an incredible team are the best, no matter how long Ive taken to come back, they remember everything about me. Its a team that its being together for as long as I visit, since 2011

Horroble dentist experience. Dr was nice but office very Unprofessional, untrained, and OVER BILLED. I went through my insurance and they refused to do what the insurance paid for. They were expecting for me to pay their overpriced treatments.

This dental office blatantly tried to take advantage of my grandmother. I am also certain of the fact because I actually MANAGE a dental office myself and know all the procedures, what is ethical, and what is NOT. My grandmother didnt go to my office because she wanted to stay within her insurance carrier. Let me explain:So my grandmother went to this dentist because it was in-network with her retirement plan insurance (HMO). I specifically instructed my grandmother not to make any transactions or appointments until I saw her treatment plan. Im SO glad she listened to me.The doctor told my grandmother that she needed to do a deep cleaning because her calculus was too much and too hard for her to be able to do a comprehensive evaluation (exam of her entire mouth/condition). However, upon reviewing the treatment plan given to her, they had only planned for a medium cleaning and a whole bunch (about $1000.00s worth) of 1 surface fillings. They also treatment planned for her to completely re-do a 3 unit bridge, which is understandable because she had it done years and years ago. Here is where the problems begin.According to the treatment plan, they had to re-do the whole 3 unit bridge and they were charging her for the actual crowns (final product) and temporary crowns that must be cemented into the area while the final product is made at a dental laboratory. Not only were they trying to charge her $200 per temporary crown (remember, its 3 units = 3 teeth) which came out to the ABSURD amount of $600 JUST ON TEMPS (the customary fee for the area is ~$95!!!!!!), but they also decided it would be a good idea to add a $400 BRIDGE REPAIR FEE. WHY ARE THEY CHARGING A $400 BRIDGE REPAIR FEE IF THEY ARE NOT *REPAIRING* THE BRIDGE? THEY ARE COMPLETELY *REPLACING* IT! If it was only a bridge *repair* they would repair what already exists inside of her mouth, there wouldnt be a necessity to make a new one.To add insult to injury, they also decided to add a $400 LABORATORY FEE. However, to be fair, I was told that it is customary for HMO offices to charge a lab fee.Total of their rip off attempt (not including questionable lab fee): $1200.00 (This is just in EXTRAS, this does not include the actual crowns and fillings and extra treatment that she needs.)In their aggressive and impetuous attempt to collect as much money as they could, they also ran her credit (with her consent) to apply her for financing so that they may collect the funds before starting the treatment. Its fine though, because she will gladly be using her care credit account ELSEWHERE. I WOULDNT BRING MY GOLFISH TO THIS OFFICE AND YOU SHOULDNT EITHER. I understand everyone wants to prosper and offices need to produce but they should not go about trying to make money in COMPLETELY WRONG and unethical ways. Whoever did this treatment plan is LUCKY that HIPAA laws exists and they cant discuss her treatment with me. Shes a really sweet old lady and doesnt like confrontation BUT THEY MESSED WITH THE WRONG SWEET OLD LADY. Im going to make sure EVERYONE knows that this office is corrupt.

WARNING!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!! THEY WILL ACT AS IF THEY ARE CLEANING YOUR TEETH WHEN THEY ARE REALLY TRYING TO CREATE CAVITIES BY SCRAPPING EXTREMELY HARD ON YOUR ENAMEL. THEN THEY WILL TRY TO TALK YOU INTO HAVING VENEERS DONE EVEN IF YOU DONT NEED THEM! THEY ARE CROOKS WHO SMILE TO YOUR FACE AND TRY TO SCAM YOU AND YOUR INSURANCE.

I do not recommend this place, I am grateful I am not attending here, they only invent that you have cavities to charge you, they cheat. A family member attended here and was told to have 7 cavities after tirelessly asking them for the doctors photos and diagnosis to ask for a different opinion, almost unpleasantly they had to demand the medical record and finally they gave not very clear images, fortunately we left here because I didnt have anything they said there were never 7 cavities, please stay away from this clinic and if you trust her ask for another opinion from another dental center

I came to this office because of difficulties in another and it was the best decision I made. Since I arrived at the office they have treated me very special always explaining me the treatment and doing everything possible so that I feel comfortable. The team knows me by name and always very attentive. The manager Yadira is excellent, always aware of everything that happens in the office and dealing with everyone is very professional and attentive. I am very satisfied here!
