Spoke to Arthur (owner) ahead of my 10 year old birthday party … he said “you don’t need to bring anything, we’ve got this!”…. And they sure did! He was amazing in running the party - there was not a moment where kids were wondering what to do! The instructions on how to make pasta were clear, the fun playing while they were cooking was increíble! The food was delish, the girls had a blast! The waffle towers were delicious! Highly recommend The Real Food Academy!!! My 10 year old and her 14 friends are still talking about it!!!! Thank you so much for such a special and effortless celebration for mom! This was a wonderful gift from my daughter for my birthday. We spent the evening preparing healthy Thanksgiving side dishes and I was amazed that healthy also meant super tasty and fun! We made gluten free corn bread muffins, quinoa stuffing, cranberry sauce, roasted Brussels with lemon aioli and creamy cauliflower mash - all really delicious. Our chef was amazing - friendly, informative and made everyone feel welcome. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully done. We will be back again - thank you!

My daughter had an amazing time at cooking camp last week! She was a little apprehensive about the food she would make (and then have to eat, LOL) but everything was nutritious and delicious! She cooked dinner TWICE last week and even made a snack for the family today. She has a new found love for cooking and I’m thrilled to have her expert help in the kitchen ;)

Love their Cauliflower Crust Pizza. You just can’t go wrong. Real Food Academy/ Cafe is my go to place for this. I gave them 4 stars. I ordered the Açaí bowl which was OK but I’ve had better and a Vegan chocolate chip cookie but they gave me their popular Almond cookie instead but I totally hate the taste of almond extract flavoring. Lesson learned is to check the bag next time. The pizza with vegan cheese they got that right thank goodness. Delicious crispy cauliflower crust. Melted creamy Vegan cheese and tasty sauce. Looks nice inside of cafe with plenty of room to sit and have one of their many juice, smoothies, or coffees.

I celebrated my 40th birthday with them 1/16/21 and had a fabulous time! Everything was perfect from booking, customization to my party, and delicious!

My boys loved going to cooking camp during the summer! My eldest immediately wanted to start cooking for us when he came home, after the first day. Its hands on, immersive and the staff is nice. We will definitely come back next year!

I booked today’s class for the first time for my 11 year old daughter, at first she was reluctant to go but by the end of the class she did not want to leave. She had an amazing time! They made stuffed pasta shells, Caesar salad and ginger bread cookies. The owners are amazing super attentive, hospitable and genuine. It is not easy to find a place where you can come together with people you don’t even know and connect so naturally. Chef Maria and Arthur share a passion for the kitchen and bringing people together. While the kids are cooking, parents are able to watch from the loft and can take pictures. You can also enjoy their cafe (which by the way serves AMAZING FOOD) and meet people who are there for the same reason. It’s an organized environment which makes it possible for the kids to engage and be receptive to the cooking instructions. We will definitely be back!!!!! Thank you Maria and Arthur!

My daughter was recently enrolled for 2 weeks in the Real Food Academys summer camp and she truly loved it.Drop off and pick up were very convenient and the daily recipes were easy and enjoyable. She learned a great deal about how to handle kitchen utensils as well as how to make foods such as pasta, Asian dishes and some great vegan desserts.She is eager to try making some of these recipes at home and Im excited for her to showcase what she learned in camp.

We celebrated my daughter’s 14th birthday at The Real Food Academy. It exceeded my expectations while the teenagers and the adults all had a fabulous time. Beautiful venue with delicious food and excellent customer service.

What a great find! This is a hidden gem we stumbled on after moving to the Shores. We have tried so many healthy food places but it’s so hard to find one that is consistently good. This is the one! Everything I have tried has been on point. I love the Miami Spice Bowl, Impossible Burger, Taco Salad, Inka Bowl.... cannot wait to try the rest of their menu. Staff is super friendly & service is great too!!! Get out and help support this local business. They deserve it! 🙌

I was hesitant to send my 13 y/o daughter anywhere due to COVID but temperature checks were taken seriously, social distancing took place, plenty of space & limited # of campers and masks at all times gave me comfort. My daughter had such a wonderful time she is signing up for another week. In the mean time we bought the ingredients to all the healthy, yummy items she made!

Super nice and impeccable environment. Good quality knives, boards, etc. Chef Giusepe took the time to really start from the beginning and taught us how to properly handle and use the knife to cut the food. He was also very knowledgeable and very nice. We were very lucky it was just 4 of us because it was like a private cooking class. My daughter’s 10th bday was celebrated at The Real Food Academy, and let me just say, it was MAGICAL INDEED! Art, Maria, and the rest of the staff were AMAZING! They made all of our guests feel safe (covid measures were adhered to and followed) and comfortable as well as pampered and treated as 5 star guests! The girls had a blast making their pasta and garlic bread and truly worked off their pasta calories with a great Zumba workout and dance party! The Real Food Academy was the BEST way to celebrate our precious girl.

The Real Food Academy Cafe is a fantastic hidden gem for lunch. Food is terrific; healthy; pure and full of flavor. And you can tell that the owners and service staff take great pride in what they do.My friend and I shared two dishes: sweet potato noodle pad thai and an impossible burger. Both were delicious and the kind of memorable experience that will keep us coming back for more.

My daughter took the class for the first time and she loved it! She signed up for the next two weeks. The atmosphere is modern and comfortable. Everything is so clean. She learned about cooking and how to make healthy choices. She made the family breakfast the next day with minimal assistance from me. They really love what they do and they ensure everything flows smoothly and that the kids are happy.

Don’t eat here because it’s food that’s good for you! Eat here because it’s food that tastes GREAT!I’m usually the first one to pass on restaurants that offer healthy, good for you food and I’m the last one to pick anything that’s vegetarian or vegan on any menu. Not here! Everything that I’ve tried is amazingly tasty. It’s also great value for your money.I’m so impressed with this place that I want to come take some of their cooking classes and maybe even host a cooking party here for some of my friends.Please do you tastebuds and yourself a big favor and come try this place out. I promise you will come back again and again!

It was a fabulous experience for my granddaughter who is 8. The recipes were fantastic and she was beyond excited at the whole event. She said it was the best Christmas present ever.Some suggestions:1. give handouts for the recipes that the children made2. have a few more ingredients at each station, even while encouraging the children to share.I realize that at least six children came in after the class started, so perhaps these were not accounted for when dividing the ingredients.

Chef Maria’s recipes are exceptional. My friend and I attended a dinner cooking class and she made each person attending feel welcome. After tasting the sesame encrusted salmon, I kept thinking about it until I finally made it myself at home. It turned out GREAT! Delicious. Next up to replicate, her raw vegan chocolate cheesecake. My friend is still raving about it.Invited to her 10th anniversaryand delighted with her success!! She’s living the American dream by being excellent at what she does!

We had our company holiday party at Real Food Academy, everything was top notched. Chef Maria and her team did an exceptional job of keeping all of us engaged. Our group said that this was the best holiday party that they have experienced. They were all so surprised because it was indeed different from our usual dinners and boat rides. What can I say about The Real Food Academy? I love it! Ive attended two cooking classes so far. Peruvian fusion and all about pasta making! I recommend this place if you want to learn how to cook different recipes from different countries, they dont change the dish they change the ingredients (healthier options) Maria is a great teacher and I look forward to taking many more classes.

Yesterday we celebrated my husbands birthday with a cooking class party at Marias chef place. I cant think of a better way... We started early in the afternoon. Every one had a blast, my friends havent stop thanking me for such a quality and different celebration.I take my hat of Maria and her team. Everything worked as a Suisse clock. Whatever needed to be ready, was ready. There was not lack of utensils or good food and good atmosphere. We brought our wine and beer, she provided the rest. My friend are already commenting on making the food themselves and inviting us, life is good :)

Chef Maria is awesome!! The recipes and taste were amazing. The academy uses the finest ingredients, organic, and always healthy. My husband and I had a great class and even had left overs to enjoy the next day. In addition they offer camp for my kids who LOVE the camp and have so much fun and come home sharing all they learned.

Chef Victoria is the sweetest and clearly loves teaching! I organized a team building and my often synical colleagues loved it. When organizing the event, Arthur was responsive, friendly and super helpful. The company went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome time.

I absolutely love this place! I have taken a couple classes with my husband and some friends and it’s a fun and different way to have a great night out. Chef Maria is super nice and a great instructor.

I went for the mothers day event that was today and my mother and I had a wonderful time. Chef Jeff was so friendly and all of the dishes were delicious. We even made lasagna noodles from scratch! The brownies we made were made of beans and we mad delicious turkey meat balls made of turkey and quinoa. All of the dishes were so healthy and delicious. The homemade noodles tasted so much more light and fresh. I wanted to take all the food with me!!

The customer service is awesome. They are really good with the kids and have lots of patience. No clean up afterwards because you leave all the work up to them. I Loved it!!

My husband purchased this class as my b-day present and it was a perfect gift for me, I loved it!We had a private class and it was an amazing date. Chef Maria was really nice, we learned a lot and the food was delicious.It has been over a week since we took this class and I cant stop talking about it. We have been cooking the recipes that she thought us with different variations and not only the food tasted good but we also know that we are eating healthy.We would definitely go back for more classes.

Chef Maria has got all the flavor. Stop in an order an empanada and a poke bowl. The avocado toast was so incredible and we just could not get enough of her bright and youthful energy. What a lighthouse this place was for my friends and I. We were in town for Basel and really craving some real plant based food and this spot was a homerun. Our daughters 10th Birthday Party at Real Food Academy was a huge success. She loved it and had an amazing time with her friends, they learned about cooking and they got to eat the food they prepared themselves. For the second time, I took cooking classes with the real food academy and both times I absolutely loved it. The first class was to learn the tricks of Chinese cooking which was amazing and yesterday we had a Raw food cooking class and I loved it. It was outstanding. I am an experienced cook but chef Maria was able to impress me with amazing skills, wonderful food and her passion about healthy food. Even though I cook and am a Nutrition coach, I learnt a lot about preparing healthy food, it was a great atmosphere, the place is super clean and cozy, I learnt a lot of skills. It is a great class no matter if a beginner or advanced. They also have great kids cooking classes. I highly recommend their cooking courses

What a super AWESOME place! We just had our daughters 6th bday party and everything from the food, to the decor and the entertainment was AWESOME!!! We had 25 kids and first they made their own pizza and cupcakes (vegan/gluten-free alternatives as well) with their chef’s hats and aprons. Then we cut the cake and lastly we had a Zumba party. For the adults we had appetizers, mimosas and wine. The music was AWESOME and the owners are super caring! It sounds expensive but it really was not, three hours of fundand the adults/ kids had a great time! Will definitely have another party there! 👍🎉

I have learned so much from Maria namely how cook delicious food, how to prep and most importantly how to cook great recipes that are considered raw food. My health and skin, joints and energy has improved with learning this new raw way to cooking.The recipes are very diverse and I have learned how to branch out to different types of cuisines with confidence. Unacceptable & disappointed by service, as my sister was arranging a surprise birthday/cooking lesson where unfortunately the event needed to be cancelled due to a foot injury I sustained. Not allowing me to stand. Chef Maria attempted to renege on returning the deposit. Citing the need for my sister to provide medical documentation, citing insufficient cancellation notice (website reads 10 day’s requirement) - Chef Maria was given 14 days advance notice. Chef Maria indicated she was not the owner & it would be her partners decision. Chef Maria shared that she was very busy with parties, and she doesn’t handle these types of issues. Chef Maria repeatedly ignored my sister’s emails and calls. So when asked since they moved from their first location, and their new location was under construction with a 3-4 week timeline to open, Where then would the 2/17/2018 event be held? Chef Maria miraculously made a phone call to share that her partner had told her to return the refund, and that it slipped her mind.
