If I could leave 0 stars I would. I got in a car accident with someone who had Gainsco insurance. That person was at fault. It’s been 3 weeks and I still cannot get an answer from anyone. I leave several messages and no response. My own insurance company leaves several messages and no response. It’s like they went out of business or something. Probably bc if the lack of customer support. It’s infuriating.
Absolute trash of a company. Never answer the phone, even in a crisis but if you miss a payment they are quick to contact you. Horribly ran and very cringeworthy. Overpriced trash, even if you’re looking for basic PIP coverage. Do not do business with these weirdos.

This is hands down the WORST insurance company I have ever had in my entire life. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, even my worst enemy. They have the craziest fees and customer service is usually trash. Please just go out of business and do the world a favor. Thanks.
Everyones voice mail recording states thier call back policy timeline. That in itself is a waste of time as I received 1 call back out of 15 messages I left from the claims manager, the gentleman that covers for him, the team leader and the adjuster, over the course of a month. Why state your policy leading to expectations and then not follow through? After all, isnt insurance delivering on the promise?
Worst insurance company ever prices are super high customer service never picks up
Absolutely ridiculous. Have had them for exactly one month. Went to pay my bill(tried online and over the phone) both day no policy matches that information. Tried to call customer service and there’s a message saying they are experiencing technical difficulties call back later but it’s now been over a week with all this and me trying every single day😭.
Gainsco auto insurance is a low cost option that is not worth it.You can see the other reviews of people having their rate jacked up from just one accident, but mine just got jacked up for really no reason. Switched to geico for a better deal, sent and email to gainsco to cancel the policy, and they wouldnt let me go. I keep on sending emails to cancel, but they keep saying that my request to cancel was denied. I cut shut off my auto pay from my bank and they finally got the message and canceled the account. Then they sent a collection company on me for a charge of $34. They were supposed to send paperwork to explain everything, but they didnt.Theyre not worth your time and their call centers will make you wait for hours before you can reach someone.
Got in an accident with one of their clients on Dec. 23, 2019. It is March 17, 2020 and the issues have not stopped since day 1. My original adjuster is no longer with the company and I received no heads up. I have yet to hear the voice of my new adjuster. Nearly THREE full months of being out of the loop and have called countless times to get issues resolved. This is the exact reason you should NEVER go with cut-rate insurance.If anyone has any idea how to get someone to actually respond to my calls, messages, or emails. Let me know.
Omg ! Please be careful if you decide to go with this company for you insurance. I know the rates are “low”, but there’s a reason for that. I had them for years and Thankfully !! I never got in an accident, but what did happen was my windshield was cracked by someone throwing a bottle off of the 7th floor of my building. It is my understanding that FL law requires your insurance company to COVER that, but not this company, they straight up told me they don’t cover this in FL, so I had to go out of pocket to get it taken care of. I paid $140/month for YEARS ! And when it came time for a claim, it’s not covered ? Really ?? After that, I took a closer look at my policy and it is more of a scam than anything.

This insurance company is a complete joke this was definitely backyard made.I was in an accident with somebody that has their insurance, on December 13 2018 the guy admitted that it was his fault it’s now January 19 2019 and I still haven’t received my check for my truck.I Guarantee that I call these people like 40 times a day and don’t get one phone call back “If you call before three will call you back today if you call after three will call you back the following day”I called to speak to the manager & they couldn’t find him. It’s about to be a month that I’m waiting for my check from this company. I don’t live nothing but 4-5 hours from Miami, mail don’t take take nothing but 2-3 days to get here.If you’re fighting with this company don’t even waste your breath just go and get an attorney!
Worst Insurance company ever. I canceled with them 2 Months prior to when my policy would end. They never refunded my money. Have to report them To the State of Florida Insurance Commissioner.

This is probably the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. We had to show the DMV proof of insurance because it wasnt reported when we switched companies so my husbands license was suspended. They were zero help and we still may have to pay to reinstate his license because of their error! Even our insurance agent said they are the worst company and she stopped quoting for them. Beware of Gainsco! Dirtbags!
Have been trying to reach them about a FRAUDULENT insurant of theirs and no response. If it comes to it we will have to take them to court (its been 3 months) but it would be great if they could answer their phones once in a while!!

I am experiencing the same thing as other negative reviews are saying. Sentel Campell out of officce. Out to lunch. Keep a log of every phone call you make to her then hire morgan and morgan attorneys at law. Thats when you get results fast ! Do not put up with excuse after excuse.
I recently just got this insurance company and I spoke with representative for a couple of days before actually getting this company. During the conversation we agreed on full coverage for my vehicle and when I got to make my claim I found out that all of a sudden theres 2 types of full coverages according to customer service. So Ive yet to hear about my claim and also found out that I dont have renters insurance under my full coverage vehicle. I feel very disappointed in how they do busy, not professional at all and when I asked to speak to a supervisor all they told me was that they would repeat the same thing. This company is a joke and I as a customer I feel disrespected and highly upset I have to spend money on a rental while my car is being fixed. Whenever that is....... Disgusting ! ! !

THIS IS A POS COMPANY YOUR MONEY IS BETTER ELSE WHEREmy car went off road and broke my two back wheels on April 6,17 .i was paying for a full coverage premium every month the bill would be 318 ok i dont mind to pay a little extra on anything as long as i know i have a peace at mind to know i got my back covered wellp this Gainsco insurance sure make you fall under the impression that all is fine all will be ok but to my luck my bill came out to be 1390 dollars and 554 dollars for towing of which Gainsco only payed $350! i payed the rest out of pocket it is now May4,17 and i finally have my car because these people dodge and weave any calls when it comes to giving a RESPONSE to the costumer, to the collision center, and towing place trying to get their money and or bill payed NOPE pretty SHTTY people if you ask me. wellp im glad i left their SHT BUISNESS and took my money to the little gecko dude and im paying full coverage there for 222 but i got my back covered

It has been over a month since my car has been in the shop. The car is done and they are waiting for payment. Gainsco will not call me or the shop back. I want my car to drive.
