I was without my washer for over a month. first a part was backordered. Then at the 2nd appointment the technician informed me the first technician had forgotten to order a part. He gave me an appointment for the following week. I received the part. no one came on that day, I was told that they were still waiting on a part. I told them I received the part and wanted a sooner appointment. I was told this was not possible, so again waited another week. This past week I called the day before and again was told they were waiting on a part. I told them, as I had told them the previous week, that I had all the parts. the problem was they had one part requested 2x. So she confirmed my appointment for the next day. finally, that day, a wonderful technician came who was knowledgeable and thorough. He told me I was lucky because I did yet need another part, one that had not been requested, which he happened to have on his truck. I would never recommend Sears Appliance repair. 2 years ago I was without my refrigerator for 2 months the first time and 1 month the second time due to parts. Next time I need an appliance I am going to my local appliance store. even if its a bit more, I know their customer service is exceptional and any repairs are handled in a timely manner

Service rep stayed in communication with me regarding arrival time. The service rep was competent, completed the work, and I was a happy camper once he left. He did everything he was supposed to. Really appreciated the fact that he left the work area clean of debris and he was very courteous. And, he was successful in making sure my washer and dryer were working once he left - of course, that made me very happy. Thank you for doing a great job!

Sears technician works pro by the books but told that the samsung refigerator model number that we have RF28HFEDBSR is having an on going issue with the Ice Maker hard to resolve / and we called several times with same isuue to Sear support / we spoke to Support and Alicia on Apr 23 2021 told over the phone the she estarted the replacement for the refrigerator and we going to receive in a 3 days an email confirmation that never happened / also a day before on Apr 22 2021 Paola from Sear support as well told that the issue is the water filter / we changed it an nothing happened / also talking with the techinican told us that nothing to do with the water filter / so I called at the same time Sears to send it back a water filter that we already change without any reason / not happy with this poorduct sold by Sears

The services provided were of poor quality.The service man asked me to sweep behind the fridge, then mop and when asked about the water and ice maker be operable now that there is a new hose -- he said someone turned off the ice maker. So I asked now that the hose has been replaced the ice maker will be working correct, yes.I have a brand new filter for the water and ice maker -- his response no need. Well, today is July 25, 2018 and there is no ice and the stream of water is like watching ice melt. Tried to reschedule last week -- no luck. Trying again, now --- the music is driving me nuts and for faster service please use our chat feature. Still waiting to chat. One thing he did do was to make sure I knew how much it was going to cost. I did not know it was going to cost me water and ice.The cost is not an issue -- ensuring that I selected the appropriate vendor to repair it -- is my issue. This is not your mom and dads Sears --thats for sure.

Sears came to check my washer machine the man said it needed a part next week part came I call and got appointment for Monday nobody came and I call they said I didn’t have appointment so they made me appointment for Wednesday nobody came they said the driver call in sick then they gave me another appointment for Thursday man came look at the washer and said that he was waiting on the other man because it was a two man job the other man never showed up then he was putting the boxes with the parts in his truck then he left and he call Sears and said that my washer was fix. I call sears and ask Why they didn’t fix my washer they said the man put in the computer he fix it. Oh my God the man stole the parts and lie are this the kind of people working for Sears. Wow so they made me another appointment for Monday and I have to start all over again and all Sears can say is I’m sorry. Wow just can’t believe it. I should have bought my washer from brands mart I see Why some of they stores are closed down because they do BAD BUSINESS. Very unsatisfied costume

This was not an emergency and therefore the 7-10 days delay from my call to the repair was fine. The first person I called ordered the correct parts and they arrived as planned. The service person was on time an and fixed the issue with no need of additional parts. He, Watkins, was also very helpful with my warranties and helped get all 4 of my sears appliances on the same schedule.

Sears Service and Repair are great. The technician was very respectful and thorough. Some of the 3rd party contractors are not that professional and Sears should reconsider using them as it damages their name. They are not trained to the same standard as those who work for Sears.

My washer machine was not fixed. I wait for parts for 16 days and nothing arrived. They did not enter in contact with me. I had to keep calling. One person jump the call to another and nothing was done. I had paid more then 50./.when the technician came to see the problem. Haw about my money now. They dont say. Thank you, Carolina Auriemo

Its to be expected, I guess, that the a/c would decide to break down in the middle of the summer. I had a maintenance check just the month before with everything doing fine. I was more than impressed when a Sears crew took care of a pretty major repair when one of the compressors went out. Sears replaced both compressors and got the whole system up and running like a new a/c . Best of all, it was all covered under my Sears Protection Plan!

There was no repair done because my brand new refrigerator has RUST on it, and this company is telling me nothing can be done. Totally unexceptionable for me. This item in only one year old, and I dont want to look at a new appliance with rust on it. The scheduling was easy. The technician was on time and went right to work. He was friendly and polite, and knew his stuff.On the downside, the dryer is still making odd noises, although less than it was when I called for service. I believe his diagnosis was correct. There are bits of debris from years of use in there rubbing and making the sounds. I think there are just more to be found. Ill call for a second look. Sears is very easy to work with.

Overall, I must say I am pleased with Sears service repair. The washer is running great since the initial repair even though I had to call them back for water leaking, that turned out to be just a loose hose that needed to be tightened from the repair. The need to order parts and schedule a two person repair team resulted in my having to wait about 2 weeks from my initial call for service, to actually get the washer repaired. Sears has served us well for more than 30 years and they are the best compared to others in my book.

Terrible. While I understand the oven was too old to be fixed, I expected the repairman to at least give me basic guidance on what would be needed to replace it. The repairman provided no guidance whatsoever and couldnt leave fast enough. Total waste of $99. Never use Sears again.

I am waiting for a technician to show up for the THIRD time to fix the washing machine. The first two didnt put the agitator on properly. When I ran a load of wash through, the agitator ended up un the bottom of the washer in three pieces. I hope I can get someone to come who knows what he is doing!

It was a terrible experience. I would need the option of negative stars to accurately rate the experience. But they have rigged it so you must give at least one star. I had purchased an outdoor grill in December 2014 and also the extended warranty. The burner rusted through and I called for repairs. First the appointment time was 8am to 5pm. Even the cable companies do better than this. The tech shows about 2 pm in a clean uniform and I should have seen that as a sign. He was here to pencil whip the paperwork and he did. He spent several minutes collecting the units information and less than two minutes looking at the repairs the unit might need. He wrote the entire unit as having rust which voids both warranties. The problem is that only the burner had rusted through. Page 4 of the manual clearly states that if the burner rust through in five years it will be replaced free of charge. After hours on the phone not one of Sears reps could get past the word rust. Their brains would short circuit and all reason and logic would be gone from the conversation. It became apparent that Sears and Kmart are selling outdoor grills with extended warranties and have no intention of ever fixing them. Thus a repair tech in a clean uniform at two in the afternoon. Do not shop at Sears and Kmart. It is said to see a once iconic company at Sears treat customers like this. If it continues todo so this once great company will be gone.

The maintenance person that came was very nice, he did a great job putting back an aluminum ring around the rubber of my pretty new washer. The ring had just fallen off and I truly didnt know how to put in back in between the rubber.The whole process took not even 5 minutes .... I was charged $190.00I didnt have warranty, and didnt mind paying the fee for them to come out, but $190? no, I wont be calling Sears repair again.

This was an in-home call on the ice maker in the Sears refrigerator failing to produce ice. The service technician gave the ice maker a quick glance and was about to leave. Fortunately, my handyman was there and asked him to look further. With the help of my handyman, the technician looked further and found that the icemaking mechanism had iced over, and that was the reason it had stopped working. If my handyman had not been there, the problem would not have been fixed.

We still have no refrigeration (after three tech trips) on that unit and we have a 93 year old mother living with us that has special refrigeration needs.Take my advice, get a local service person that cares for their customers, Sears does not.

Literally the biggest racket I’ve ever known. I called them to tell them the machine was broken, the guy then shows up 2 hours late to tell me the machine was broken, that it would cost almost $400 to replace two small springs (the price for the parts on the estimate was $26!), and after I declined that ridiculous offer, they charged me $106 for this service. I will be spreading the word to always try to use a local repair man than this horrible service that clearly take advantage of people. No wonder Sears stores are closing up and down the country. Word of mouth is like wildfire for a company and I will be telling everyone I know not to use this service. Absolutely appalled.

I am giving you 2 stars and I am being generous. To start off you guys cancelled the appointment, the same day after we had made all our arrangements. OK, that can happen. then the day of the appointment they were supposed to show up between 1-4 pm. At 4.30 we hadnt heard from the technician. After a lot of back and forth with the company they made it to the house at 6.30pm. 2 1/2 hours after the latest our of the appointment is just not acceptable. It is not right having people working in your house till almost 9pm.

I had calls and emails the day before to let me know about the time for the repairs. On the day of the visit I had a call about 1/2 hour before the technician arrived to let me know he was on his way here. When technician arrived he called saying he was outside and would be coming in in about five minutes, which he did. I liked that before doing any work he asked if the parts that had been ordered had arrived and what the problem was with the appliance. Technician proceeded to do his work, then he tested to verify everything was working properly, and then he explained what he had done, what to expect, and what to do in case on any problems developing after he had left. He asked if I had any questions. After this he left leaving the site and appliance clean as if nothing had ever happened. I am quite satisfied with the service provided by Sears under my Master Protection Agreement, which I have had for more than 35 years!

WAY OVERPRICED! To install a $50 part Sears charged me over $350! They wouldnt even do a routine service to the unit. Such as cleaning the coils, etc. The two men (not necessary it was a one man job) were here only a matter of minutes and offered to do an annual routine service for an extra fee and offered to charge 1/2 of the fee IF I would sign up for a $49 monthly (annual) contract. My mistake was not purchasing a brand new refrigerator for a little over $700 from Lowes, Home Depot or even Sears itself. My bad, live and learn. This repair only has a 90 day guarantee, (warranty) when a new refrigerator would have one full year. My advice is to look online for the replacement part, mine was around $50 and do the job yourself, or hire an independent repairman. Stay away from Sears. Could this be why they are closing stores and going out of business?

The Technician that came made a diagnostic, replaced parts, filled out the unit with gas. He made an excellent job. Different than the first technician from A&E. I think they are contractors. This one refused to work on my unit and did nothing but a false report saying that the unit was in bad condition. I have to wait one more week for the SEARS technician. I was not reimbursed for the losses as the SEARS Agreement promise. When I contacted Customer Service I was disconnected, transferred and invited to cancel the SEARS Agreement. That was another bad experience. After 5 days the unit is working fine.

I CHANGED MY ENTIRE SCHEDULE TO BE AT HOME WHEN SERVICE WAS SCHEDULED. THE WRONG TECH WAS SENT. I HAD EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM ON THE PHONE WHEN I FIRST CALLED. The central air check-up was a joke. The two guys were at my home for maybe 10 minutes, told US to clean the condensation pipe ourselves, told us to clean the filter (it was actually quite dirty), scared us that our AC would fail within 6 months because of its age. They themselves did NOTHING but walk around opining. During the previous visit last year the crew actually WORKED. They acid washed the coils, blew pressurized air into the condensation pipe, to remove loose muck, poured chlorine into it, had some type of meter that measured AC stuff, etc.

I purchased kenmore over the range microwaveIn good faith from sears along with what I Can now say is 💯 % a joke for what they call a protection plan. I have been inconvenienced in so many ways its not funny. I have been having issues with microwave which obviously has a problem they keep attempting to fix. Microwave is still not working. I waited almost 2 weeks to get it fix 4 days later broken again. Ernesto, the person who arrived, was not at fault. The system is totally unacceptable. I called on May 9 to report that ERR F11 could not be stopped nor was it possible use my oven. The best you could do was May 13 but the truck broke down and repair was moved to May 19. The problem did not arise when Ernesto was here and the supervisor told me nothing could be done for me. This is not why I have a long term contract.

Continually cannot find the problem with brand new equipment. Keep telling us that its bc too much soap is used and we use less then directed and it never resolves. Even without soap it happens.Machine leaks and clothes are always very wet after cycle.Repair people always tell us they cannot find the reason for the issue. We have the extended warranty but whats the point of that if they cannot correct the issue?

This is the fifth time Sears came out to fix my washing machine, first time was February 3, and every time I tell sears the machine flashes the letter F and H they dont pass that information on, the guy that came out yesterday was never told what the machine is doing. He has to order the parts, this guy i think knows what is wrong with it because I went on the internet and looked up the problem and he says the same thing the internet says. I now have to wait until March 2 to have my machine fixed and that is only if the parts arrive on time. SEARS HAS SPENT OVER $2,000.00 IN PARTS NOT COUNTING ALL THE MAN HOURS WASTED SO FAR.

The technician came on a Thursday 3/2/17...I paid $251, he left, I turned the dryer on and it worked, but 30 minutes later when I turned it on again it stopped working! So I called Sears to send back the tech again, no answer... I called again and the guy took the message, no results. The next day early at 8am I called and told them what happened, they said the only available appointment was for Wednesday 3/8/17, but this is not a new service! This is a recall for a service not completed! No results... so that means that if I buy the warranty that he pushed me so much to get Ill have to wait weeks for the appliance to get fixed? The gentleman that came didnt do anything to my washing machine. I told him the problem and he just advise me to buy another washer. Remind you that my washing machine is only two years old. Cancelled on us multiple times the day of service after we had arranged to be home. Then, when they finally came to fix the dishwasher they didnt reinstall it properly such that it rubs against the side of the counter every time the door closes and they refused to come back to fix that.

We had a problem with our Kenmore refrigerator after the hurricane irene.It was not cooling properly and on in the bottom half of the freezer.The technician arrived on time,was professional and courteous.He diagnosed it was the fan,had the part in his truck,and fixed it promptly.I didnt like the diagnostic fee but it was worth it to get our fridge running again.
