They are amazing!!! My unit wasnt cooling and of course, it has to be a Sunday. They had a tech here within an hour. Karel was the tech and he was the best. Showed me everything he was doing, was knowledgeable and very nice. He did a very thorough job and explained the services to me. I would highly recommended them to anyone!!!

April 16, 2021: I called the company on Friday afternoon. Two guys were at my place within an hour for an estimate! They went to the roof, took a video of my 16-year old AC sad and moldy insides, gave me an estimate with a small discount. Next day (Saturday!) another two guys came in at 10am and started to remove my water-dripping AC. By 4 pm I had a brand new AC installed, thermostat replaced, work area cleaned, and my place cool again! If I looked elsewhere I might have (or not) found somebody cheaper but the professionalism and hard work of this team was so impressive that I do not regret taking up on their offer.UPDATE June 23, 2021: My brand new AC stopped cooling and its coils were covered in heavy snow (see pic). It was late evening but the company claimed to be working 24/7 so I called. Nobody picked up so I left a message. Nobody called next day. I called and left messages two more times, sent an email, send a PM on their Facebook page. No answer. Meanwhile, my son removed the filter, raised the thermostat, and melted the ice. AC seemed to work well again but I still wanted to hear from the company and kept calling. Finally they picked up the phone. Yes, they would send out a tech to diagnose the problem but I would have to pay a $65 service call fee. To check on the brand new AC that they brought and installed! That comes with the warranty on parts and labor. But the service call fee is still $65! OK, I paid. The guy came and determined that there was a faulty part in the unit and they would replace it.July 7, 2021: It took another two weeks and less than mediocre communication from the office until they finally answered my phone call. I was wondering when they will do what had been promised. The same guy came the same day, worked hard, and finished the job.I have no complaints about the guys in the field but communication with the company and the despicable service call fee for checking a faulty unit under warranty that they brought and installed is what made me update my initially 5-star review.

They were able to come out right away to look at it and was able to get me a new AC the next day which was a god send because it was 83 degrees inside my house

My house is back to being cool and the men were excellent installers, although more Spanish speaking than English. I speak Spanish so there was no issue. But for someone who doesnt, you might be a little surprised. Excellent pros, though!

They installed a new A/c, probably not the cheapest but worth every penny! for the price i not only got a new a/c plus service agreement included for years to come. Have called them for service and they are very reliable, efficient, competent and friendly. Great customer service! very happy with my purchase. would highly recommend!

Pro: Very punctual.Con: Looked at my unit for ten minutes and told me I needed a brand new install. He told me he would give me a good deal (red flag and I told him this.) and gives me a proposal for $6,050 but I got the nice guy discount for a total of $4,900. I asked for an itemized invoice as I immediately looked up prices based on the names and numbers he was giving me and I found them going for $1,800- $2,200 but their system didnt allow for that. So, based on prices I found online, I was being charged, what, ~$3,800 for labor and the warrantly/ maintenance plan?A different company came out an hour later and did diagnostics for maybe 20 minutes. Replaced the outside motor, capacitor, added Freon and gave everything a good cleaning as it has been unused for over a year. $400 total.Definitely get a second opinion if they try to sell you a brand new unit. And even if you are shopping for one, I just cant recommend a company that cannot break down their charges.

I contacted Home Advisor to get an emergency call for a leak in the A/C unit in my attic. Water was leaking through the ceiling so definitely something that needed to be taken care of right away. I get connected to Miami Ice Air Conditioning/Weather Corp. These guys come out and of course, its the worst case scenario. I need a new unit for $5200. I need duct work for $12,000. I was told they checked the gauges on the outside unit and the pressure was 75psi (supposed to be between 140-150) and freon were leaking. I am obviously overwhelmed at the amount of work that needs to be done, and ask for some time to think about it because I was not prepared to spend $17,000. I have to beg the guys to at least the clean out the pan and the drain pipe so the immediacy of the leak stops. They agree, but they dont vacuum the pipe like others have previously. Also, after they leave my unit is not running and the thermostat wont even turn on (google nest thermostat). They tell me its because the water in the pain has activated the emergency shut off and it will come back on soon. I get a second opinion later that same day, and mind you, the A/C is still not running. The second guy, goes up in the attic, tells me the breaker was turned off on the unit in the attic which is why it wouldnt come on and also me the unit is fine and does not need to be replaced. The issue is the drain pipe was clogged because there is algae in the pan and all it needs is a chemical to kill the algae. I ask him to check the outside unit, and he shows me the gauges and the psi is 144.4, indicating that there is no leak. He cleans out the drain pipe by hooking up a vacuum to it and letting it run for about 20 minutes, something the Weather Corp absolutely did not do even though I asked them to. These guys lied to my face and tried to manipulate me for a big commission. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone in need of A/C repair. Please do your research and go somewhere else.

They are super sweet but in the end I lost 100% respect. The technician wasnt aware i was watching his So called thorough inspection of my unit. Removed panel stared at it n put back panels. DONE.Specifically asked Did you check pressure n fluid levels? His answer Yes I did Game over 👎So My search cont... there has to be a honest a/c business in Florida 🙄** update ...went to work outside noticed some screws sitting by the window. He misaligned the panel without returning the screws!! Wow .. n never got a return call from management.

I called Miami Ice AC for a diagnostic repair as my a/c wasnt cooling. Javier the tech/owner came out as scheduled. I asked if it was a capacitor as my unit is old and in the past that has been an issue. Javier told me it was my compressor and I needed to replace the unit at a cost of $4300. Later that day I had another tech come out. They found that the compressor was fine and replaced the capacitor (as I suspected) for $150.00. Buyer beware!

Had a great experience with this company. Both employees and management are great. Very impressed with the two technicians who came to my home. Dealt with Lazaro; he was very professional and knowledgeable. Recommend him 100%.

Miami Ice installed our AC almost 3 years ago and we bought the 5-year labor/parts service contract. When AC stopped cooling we called and a service visit was scheduled for the next morning. The tech was right on time, went to work, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the thermostat. Cooled great! But that night the AC went out, so called the next morning and scheduled a service call for the next day. The tech was right on time, found the new problem (not uncommon for a replaced part to expose the problem with a part thats on the verge of going) -- replaced the motor and some other parts -- and now its cooling great! Good company, solid service, no problems honoring the service contract. Glad we went with Miami Ice. (And no, I dont own part of the company. Picked them off Home Adviser!)

What can you say? AC went out overnight, and an early morning call resulted in an assessment and estimate within hours. Only an hour after the assessment the technician arrived at my home to repair my unit. Its hot in Miami, thats why I prefer the cool service and professionalism of Miami Ice! Thank you!

This air conditioning company is great! I didn’t know what was wrong with my A/C, they walked me through what happened in a detailed way then gave me options and fixed it much faster than what I imagined and the price was super reasonable. They were on time, very professional guys. They also now have plumbing!

My central Ac has been giving me issues for a while that it doesn’t cool properly. I came home from work and it wasn’t cooling. Realizing its already late I was provided Miami Ice’s number by my neighbor. They suggested to call, I called and they responded immediately and scheduled an appointment with an hour. I was impressed by how quickly I was able to get someone scheduled for 4pm on a Friday. The tech(Lazaro) he was very knowledgeable and very professional. He basically told me I needed a new central AC. He helped with the financing and paper work needed. I accepted the proposal and I was installed the following morning Saturday. With the whole process they explained everything to me thoroughly and I was happy with the service and efficiency they work. I would recommend this company to everyone I know.

Ill be honest. My experience with them has had its ups and downs, but I really believe that the bad can be redeemed by how its handled.My initial experience with them was outstanding. Ive replaced my A/C unit before and have always had a home contract for appliances and garage that takes care of the minor things. This time, the ac stopped working, the company that has worked with me for years said that we are too far and would not come out. Miami Ice answered the call and came out the same night (at like 8pm...which is unheard of). They gave me options for quick fixes as well as total replacement and even partial replacement. After reviewing ALL of the options (thanks to Jorge), we decided that total replacement would be most beneficial as it includes warranty.I wasnt able to be home when the work was done, but my grandmother was. I was very disappointed in the initial work because things that were promised to me were not done that way. (It seems the work may have been outsourced and the subcontracted company replaced the unit but didnt bother to notice that the drainage was clogged and left holes in my walls and a mess where the ac closet door once was.)I spoke with Javier immediately and he agreed that this was not right. Not only did they have their employees come out to check the work, but they replaced everything that needed to be including the drainage AND the holes as well as all carpentry work.Most people would read this and expect a poor review, but I really believe that, while they have had to learn their lesson about subcontracting work, they truly handled everything in a professional manner that makes me trust them over any other company.Even though we had our ups and downs, I CONFIDENTLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE IN NEED OF AC REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT!

Our a/c unit died. We contacted this company due to the high Google ratings. The sales person came out and he has a great personality, and was offering us a great price and service deal, so we said yes, even after seeing that they have an F with the BBB. They were supposed to come bet. 9 - 10 the next day and we started calling at 10ish to find out their ETA. No answer. Left messages...no answer. Finally got a call back about 45 mins. later and the sales person got upset with us when we cancelled! He told us that his guys were in Home Depot picking up supplies, blah blah blah...and they couldnt pick up the phone and answer our calls? 3 hours after we cancelled, his tech called us to tell us he was on his way! HAHAHAHA. No thanks. Seems a little sleazy if you ask me. I do not recommend. Got great service by Cousins Air!

WARNING!!! This company will scam you for your money! They overcharge by at least $2000 and when you ask to see a breakdown of the cost, they refuse. It took over 4 days to have a manager or owner call us back, and they only seemed to care when threatening instead of asking nicely. They said the reason the overcharge is to include tips in the price, so I guess thats $2000 of tips to the company. Dont waste you time and money with these THIEVES!

THIS COMPANY UPCHARGES! Miami Ice installed my brand new Rheem A/C two years ago and I financed through Greensky. I called for service because my unit suddenly stop blowing cold air. I was told my labor warranty expired; almost 2 months to be exact. I thought to myself that because my labor expired barely 2 months ago, theyll work with me. The technician came and explained that the motor on my 2 year old unit is blown and that the labor will cost me $625 dollars!! The technician was not empathetic or tried to offer some type of resolution. I told him that a unit Im still making monthly payments now has a repair bill for that amount of money is ludacris. I asked to speak to a manager, after he spoke to a manager he said the best they can do is $425. I was so engaged I asked him to pack his stuff and leave. I took my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and skip over Miami Ice. They dont value their customers.

My tenant called me at around 11pm because the air condition wasnt cooling. Luckily my friend that also has several rental properties mentioned to me that Miami Ice helped him out when he was in a similar situation. So I called them up and within the hour Lazaro showed up and explained to me what is wrong with the air condition unit. He broke down me my options for repairing the 8 year old unit or just replacing it. So I decided it was best to replace it all while I also got a 10 year warranty on it. Altogether myself and my tenant are really happy with the fast response, and professionalism from this company.

Very simple review.....I highly recommend you get other prices from other companies before letting this company do work for you. Very nice people but terrible diagnosticians. Claimed I needed a new unit and received grossly overpriced quote ($6700 for a 3.5 ton unit.......ridiculous price) when all I needed was a leak in the copper line fixed. They also charged me $48 per pound for freon when everyone else charged me $20. You’ve been warned!!!

I have no idea about ACs, Lazaro was awesome and honest checked out the unit and explained it was most probably an electrical issue. 16 year old unit died overnight and needed fat replacement. Called Miami Ice around 11:30 am. They gave me an awesome price and said could install same day. There was a truck at my house by 1pm with 2 guys that replaced whole 3.5 ton system in 2 hours. I am a construction Project Manager and see all kinds of work and failed processes. Miami Ice has it down pat from the phone call to follow up to dispatch to quality of work to completitng the job professionally. Unit was under warranty for parts we needed to pay for labor. Miami Ice charged $850 for less than 3 hours of labor. When questioned about the price they said they only charge per job not per hour. This came out to $283.00 per hour!

My CAC unit has a refrigerant leak, which I already knew. Trying to comparison shop for repair cost. everyone charges 100 to show up. They charged me 250 for leak test. Then I asked for price to repair, which was never responded to. Went with a different company for replacement of entire unit. Also had to go through an entire holiday weekend without AC.

I called Miami Ice on Friday Morning.They scheduled a tech to come out to see what’s wrong with my AC for 2 PmThe Tec was at our place at 2 Pm and the repair was scheduled for between 5.30 and 6.30 and the Tec was here on time and fixed the AC and was out at 8.pmIt was not cheap but you get what you pay for and Zi recommend this company highly.

My AC wasn’t cooling and they answered the call quickly and offer to come st not cost (most tech charge $70-100), so they came!Before I had read some reviews and most of them talked how they got a brand new AC and there weren’t many about just repairs.My unit is only 2 ys all and as I understand had 5 ys warranty on parts!!So the Tech (Javier) came, very polite and professional and right away told me the coil wasn’t working... (which was partially true because the main problem was a valve) and to replace it was at least $1000 in labor and he pretended to check with Trane (my ac brand) and told me my AC wasn’t under warranty any more and will cost me at the very minimum $1500-1600 to replace just the coil!Then he proceeded to try to sell me a new unit... for $6000 and wanted to run my credit to get me a approved for finance!I didn’t want a new unit neither to spend that much money... So I told him to call me in an hour just to let him go...I got another tech from another company come by, told me the problem was the valve and coil, and that it was under warranty! They only charged me $480 and my AC is working perfect now!!!Btw I researched the cost of the unit they were trying to sell me and was $3000-$3500 with installation.I don’t deny they might do a good job but! Im a salesman and I can recognize other salesman!! They just trying to sell overpriced new units!!!Do your research on prices before hiring them.

I was at work when my wife called and said the AC wasn’t working so I called this company out to send a technician and when he arrived he immediately said that we needed an entire replacement for both the outside and inside unit costing over 5 THOUSAND $$ WITHOUT INVESTIGATING ANYTHING ! I got home and opened the fuse panel and all it was was a blown 3 AMP fuse ! From the $5,000 quote to a $5 fuse . What a rip off company ! Do not get scammed by them!
