Called to confirm closing hours and proceeded to make an appointment for my sister and I. We arrived a few minutes before and were taken right away. However the service was very rushed, they were rough, and comments made were very rude. My sister went in to get her eyebrows waxed and once the door was closed I was told while getting my manicure “good the door was closed so no more talking”. My sister and I were conversing and one of the nail techs kept asking “what” as though she assumed we were talking about her or made a negative comment she was also rolling her eyes while we were talking as though my sister and I talking was annoying her. The experience very uncomfortable. As I was preparing to pay in cash I had to get the money out of my purse while in the middle of getting dipped and was counting out the cash and was talked to by a mail tech as though I was trying to short change them. The amount of money I spent for my sister and I ($160) for the service we received the customer service could have been much better. I would also suggest that appointments and services not be taken before close of business. A little kindness goes a long way.Update: the dip hardens almost like an acrylic on the nail. However, after a week mines popped off. I didn’t even bother about returning. Needles to say I won’t be returning to them for business.
I was very impressed with the good treatment I received! The staff was amazing! They did an awesome job. They were so friendly! I’m definitely going back!
The new manager has absolutely no clue about nails and has awful customer service.2 days ago I came here because the $50 manicure and nail dipping service I received 6 days prior had already chipped off. He made me pay another $40 to have them redone because he left my nails too long and I wanted them shorter. Now today after already calling and speaking to him stating I do not trust him to touch my nails and I want my money back. He wanted me to come back in today and I rush from my work to get here before they close for him to give me the run around claiming he can’t give money back (even though I was very clear on the phone that i was not coming to have him touch my hands, he was giving me money back.)Now I’m told he will call me Monday after he talks to the owner because he isn’t “allowed” to give refunds but he is the “manager”.Owners need to send their “manager” back to school so he doesn’t continue to ruin the integrity of natural nails in their salon.Lane did a great job my first time in around Mardi Gras. It lasted a long time even with the holographic stuff. I should have asked for her but they were busy when I walked in for a manicure and two sweet old ladies walked in behind looking for her and I’m pretty easy to please if you know how to do your trade. I didn’t want them to wait on my manicure so I got first available.I am also a licensed cosmetologist (and barber) and I am also a salon Manager. I try not to leave bad reviews online but if you are someone who is looking for customer satisfaction for what you pay for do not come here without knowing who is working and who has skills vs who has a license.
So, I had gone to my regular nail salon one day prior to have my nails done and by the time I got home I was unhappy with 2 of my nails, but could not go back to the salon as they were already closed for the weekend. I came across Nola Nails because they were open on Sundays and I just really wanted to get those 2 nails redone. Now, my request may have been unique... I was prepared for any nail salon to tell me “no”, but after explaining what I wanted to one of the younger techs at Nola Nails they told me they would take care of it. I was told to sit at one of the tables. While waiting, an older woman, possibly a manager walked up to me and had me explain what I wanted all over again. After answering a bunch of her questions she proceeds to tell me that she cannot redo my nails, they do not have my dip color (weird because she never even looked), and I needed to go back to the salon who did them. This was totally not good customer service, especially after another tech said she would do them. Bad News: They lost a potential customer, and It was possible that if someone at Nola Nails helped me I would’ve allowed them to redo ALL of my nails. Good News: From the looks of other recent reviews, I may have dodged a bullet, especially since the quality of service is less than good. I’ll go back to my regular nail salon and have them redo it. I would NOT recommend anyone to this salon.
I went the week after Mardi Gras on a Saturday morning and it was slow. I was greeted as soon as I entered and I told them what I wanted and was seated at a chair with a cute pillow in it. We discussed gel or dip and I went with dip. Tech Lein took her time and gave great conversation. My dip mani cost $50, but it was worth it every couple of months. Will definitely go back for mani or pedi.
Amazing staff. Good prices. Always great work. I recommend making an appointment even though they do walk-in service. They are usually busy, and the walk-in wait can be long.
NOLA Nails is the BEST! It is big and bright, and the people are incredible friendly!! The work is always spot on! I can come in with an idea of what I want, and I leave looking even better than I imagined! I do have to say that Tina is one of the best! She does great work and always has great ideas! She always finds a way to fit me in her schedule, and is a great person! Please take a moment for yourself, and see how great you will feel leaving NOLA Nails!
Love this place. Great service and lots of colors to choose from. Very nice staff!
This place is great! The workers are very nice and care about their customers. I needed to get my nails done the day of prom and a man that works there made sure I was taken care of in time. They do a very good job as well!
The service was nice at first but they did not do either me nor my friend nails up to par. I got a pedicure and it’s only been two days and it’s chipping and some has completely came off already! At the the lady’s were very rude to me and my friend and then was talking about the situation with other customers and they made a huge scene... and while i might say they way the talked to us and the way they were talking to customers about it was very unprofessional
Best nail salon in LA. They take pride thier work. They will make you feel like boss. A definite must stop if your in New Orleans.
Nola Nails is one of the best nail salons in the area. They have great service and are very nice to their customers. Ive been a frequent customer for almost 3 years now and cant imagine going anywhere else!
5 star treatment. I had made an appointment online, but didnt see the email informing me I needed to call and confirm. No problem; I arrived to my appointment time and Tina was able to accommodate me immediately. She gave me the best pedicure a ticklish person could ask for, as well as great tips on how to better care for my nails. (Im a nail biter seeking recovery from a bad habit.) I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. Clean facility and great staff.
They charge $90 just to get have my toe nails polish and a full set. Then my toe was cut when she was trying to cut down the toe nail and DENIED she done it!Also they DID NOT wipe down the area after each used. I had to ask for a TOWEL to place on the work area.WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!
Ive been going to Nola Nails for 7/8 months now & my nail tech is Tina..! Love her & the salon. Very professional & nice. Never a long wait. My appointments are always serviced well. I highly recommend this nail salon to anyone.
Worst Nail shop ever I got my Nails done on Halloween and that same night I noticed a crack in my nail, Ok me thinking Im clumsy so I probably hit on something but then the next day I noticed another Crack right after 2 nails all broke in the same spot, So its Now November 4 and I have 5 broken nails and I didnt have this full set for an Entire Week.
Great local spot. Affordable, professional, friendly, and thorough.
LOVE NOLA Nails...I have been coming here for years and its always a pleasant experience! Very personable as well...I cant imagine going anywhere different...
I love NOLA Nails! Super friendly staff and they did an amazing job at making my dry hands and nails look beautiful!
Great hospitality. A refreshing environment. A place my significant other continues to do business at
They are amazing, I went to another place due to they were closed.... was awful, went straight to them the next day to fix the damage the other salon did to my nails! They even have wine 😉😍
Great place, enviromental is comfortable and inviting! Professional and polite ladies, who do a wonderful job. Definitely a place I would recommend for guys and gals alike. Ask for Tina... :)
Tina was recommended over at Nola nails. I am very pleased and would recommend this business. You wont be disappointed.
Tech did not even paint my whole nail. Had light parts. Nails were thick and bulky not pretty.
This nail salon was not very clean nor did they employ sanitary practices...save your money and go somewhere with better ratings...
The employees and management are so nice
They are very nice and do a great job on my nails.I absolutely love this place.
It took me two years in Metairie or Kenner area to find a nail place I love. This place is my go to the owners are so fun and their work is the best Ive had my nails are always flawless.
Love everything about it! the service the massages the everything! I recommend nola nails to all my friends.
I have been a loyal customer at Nola Nails for quite a few years now. The salon and the technicians are more than accomodating. The salon is always clean and very well kept.I love the fact that an appointment is needed because you are assures that they have alotted a specified amount of time for whatever service(s) you are receiving. In my past experiences, I always felt rushed through what is supposed to be a relaxing experience with other salons that do not require an appointment.Furthermore, they have more than an abundant amount of polish colors to choose from, both in regular polish and gel polish (as I am a gel polish kind of girl).Lastly, I absolutely love Kim, she is THE BEST. She is always in a great mood and so friendly! I love her so much I do not even make my appointments on her days off! She is more than williling to go above and beyond for her customers. She always fits me into her schedule whether its convenient for her or not! I am not even sure she even takes a lunch every day!Needless to say, I would and always do recommend Nola Nails to anyone who is looking for a great salon experience with resonable prices!
Visit started off well, service was almost decent. Employees seem to talk to other races more. Which is fine. Afterall I only came to get my nails done not to talk. After my services were done I went to pay the nail tech. My total was $44, and I gave her $60 (3 twenties). She yelled at me saying Its $44.00 with a disgusted look on her face (as if I were not trying to pay her, obviously because Im black) Smh. If only she could count, instead of having a nasty attitude she wouldve CLEARLY seen I gave her 3 twenty dollar bills instead of 2. She did apologize, but I will not be spending my money with these ppl again!!!
Love the atmosphere and my nail tech Tina shes been doing my msils over a year fast quality service
Service at Nola Nails was great
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Do not go here, I’m warning you.
Staff is friendly and very professional. You do need to make an appointment.
Walked in to get nails done..None of the employees spoke or acknowledged me...They were not busy ..I guess they did not want my money ..I left.Oh well.
Nails beautifully done.
Set an appointment and did not receive full service.
