If you love to waste time, you’ll love the Apple Store! Experience award-winning customer disservice and inconvenience. Also, the Apple logo at the entrance of the store is absolutely covered in dust. Check it out next time you have to stand in line.
This was horrible. I brought the laptop in to be repaired because it wasn’t turning on/charging. A couple of days later they asked me to pick it up because they were finished, so I picked up my laptop and paid for it. I got home and my laptop was not repaired AT ALL. I called customer service TWO days in a row trying to contact the store and nothing happened. Every time I thought I got in contact with the store it just sounded like someone picked up and immediately hung up the phone. But when I called about “purchasing” a laptop someone answered the phone within 5 minutes. This is literally like the worse Apple store I have ever been to. I would not advise going there, you would do better going to Best Buy or even Amazon. I will be coming to get my refund since they refuse to answer the phone to get my money back.
Bradley and his team were beyond phenomenal! To the expert customer service even though they were packed on a Sunday afternoon to the keen eye Bradley had for making my Mac like new again! I could not be more impressed!
When I entered the Lakeside Apple Store in New Orleans July 17th I was greeted by one of their team members (1 star for that). He then asked how he could help me (1 star for that). I told him the issue I was having with connecting my Apple Watch to my new phone and that’s pretty much where the stars stop. He asked which generation my watch was and determined it was a 1st generation. He then asked which iPhone I had and I told him it was an iPhone 12. He then said my watch won’t connect because of the technology and it is too old. He continued to say the only way to connect to my phone is to buy a new watch. He continued to tell me about new watches that will be released in the fall that I could purchase and possibly trade in my current watch. I was basically in disbelief about my watch not connecting. So, I searched Google one more time for steps to pair my phone. I found that I could completely reset it and then pair it. I had tried that before, but was not successful and the phone would say it was pairing and then unpairing - never completely pairing. This time though, a reset option came up and I paired the watch to my new iPhone 12 as a new watch and it paired successfully with no problem. So I said all that to say the team member at the Lakeside Apple store in New Orleans didn’t even try to pair my watch. He just automatically assumed it would not pair because I have an older watch. That was so not true. I would suggest trying first before telling people they need to buy a new watch. If I didn’t know better, I probably would have been out of $200 or more for a new Apple Watch. Would have given more stars if the team member would have at least made an attempt to correct the problem. He took the easy route to say I needed to purchase a newer watch instead.
My one star is not the result of the product, but the service. I purchased a new iPhone online and picked it up at the Apple store. I asked the person in the store if they would set it up, and migrate content from my old phone to the new one I purchased - which was done for the three phones prior. The Apple person said no, they do not do that due to COVID. I pointed to the Genius Bar and asked if those customers were receiving hands on service, and the answer was yes. It does not seem to be an unreasonable expectation for service after spending several hundred dollars on a new phone.
Only had to wait 7 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The staff was very helpful, answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to help figure out what was wrong with my phone and how to get another one in the color I wanted. Special shout out to Evan and Joe : )
I was called about a repair to my iMac that I had dropped off. They said it was important and to call them back. Well, I have tried over a dozen times AND NO ONE ANSWERS. Even tech help through the Apple website could not get through. Ridiculous. Don’t go to this location.
They are very rude not helpful and told me i would have to wait 4 hours just to buy something. I left and went to apple in baton rouge and they were just the best. I will never step foot in apple lakeside again
Very humble staff, its covid time so you have to take appointment before going to store. Very quick service .
I went into this store to make a purchase for my child and there were plenty of employees standing around talking to each other. NONE of them bothered to greet me or ask if I needed assistance after being in the store for over 10 minutes. I literally got tired of waiting and asked one of them about getting assistance. I should not have to track down employees who pretend not to see me when I am spending hundreds of dollars. The customer service at this location is awful.
Love this place. They always find a way to take my pay checks😂
Worst experience ever, wanted to look at the new iPhones but they wouldn’t let me in the store without an appointment, the guard literally jumped in front of me and told me not to enter! A few seconds later an employee from inside the store came out to ask me what I needed, I explained why I was there and what was up with the guard? He told me how rude I was for asking that question then told me to leave! Wow, good luck with your business, I’m actually going to get rid of my iPhone and use something else. Good job Apple, way to treat your loyal consumers. I would have given the experience zero stars if possible.
Had an appointment for a cracked screen at 7:15. I showed up early and Checked in at exactly 7:15 and waited another 10 minutes or so. Tech shows up and tells me that they are backed up and need to keep it over night. They failed to communicate that to me in advance and acted like it didn’t matter. Why would anyone make an appointment to drop a phone off. I could have did a walk in and did that if I didn’t need it done that day. Wasted my whole evening coming here for nothing. Extremely disappointed with the way they handled my situation. It will prob be another few weeks before I’ll be able to make it back to get it fixed. Pitiful.
Beautiful place to walk indoors with plently of space to spread out
Worst experience ever, bad apple genius and support ever!! They damaged my MacBook hardware instead of fixing different issue and requesting money to fix their mistake !!!!!!! Apple Call center don’t know what’s happening and no solution available, I’m very disappointed 👎🏽👎🏽 that’s not what we are used to from Apple very bad service, no one even responded to my case 😡 ( Case: 101414144985
I drove over here from the westbank to see the size difference in the iPhone 12 and 12 mini and how they both feel in my hand and pocket. I was told I need an appointment and 2 hours away was the closets available. I’m like- I’ll buy it online if you can’t ring me up, I just want to look at the size real quick. I have to go bigger or smaller than my iPhone 10. I think this is a reasonable request to not have to wait 2 hours to take less than a minute in the store. Then I asked if he could just bring them by the door? Or let me take about 5 steps in to see. He said no, they are tethered to the desk in a snotty way. Needing an appointment to look at a product is insane.
Don’t come here. Send your device to apple via mail.
Very nice customer service kinda long due to COVID-19 but understandable.
I got a complex problem with mac pro (mother board). I thought Genius Bar could give new ideas to fix but the same as other technicians, nothing special neither good service
Gabby went above and beyond. I went in to get some replacement items and she was amazing. Can’t remember the manager’s name but she was very helpful as well. There was an issue with my serial numbers but they were still able to work everything out. Great interactions across the board. I highly recommend gabby.
I called this Apple location and spoke with Ed. He was super helpful and kind. He went above and beyond. He really tried to explore options on how to help me locate a receipt and his efforts did not go unnoticed. Thank you!
Emma was so helpful. I came to trade in my very, very old Mac book and she notified me of a credit that I was owed and answered all of my questions very patiently. Always very patient and friendly service here.
I was only picking up a uber eats order for a customer but it wasnt food 😐it was a pick up for the apple store 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
No help getting my iPad up and running
Busy place, attentive staff, employees.
I had to go through the Big maze at Dillards to get to the bathroom, because the main one was shut down.
Went to check on phone I-7 and was told mother board is gone and a new phone like l have (newer model that is) is 1500.00???
Always crowded, but making an appointment definitely helps.
Dont waste your time coming here. Mindless bureaucracy. They wont talk to you unless you have a reservation. And of course you need an iphone to make a reservation on their system (which we didnt have). My mom is technically inept and they also wouldnt let me go in to support her. Whatever, were taking our money elsewhere.
Ugly corporate monsters look like shiny new I phones.
Apple support has gone downhill recently. Called the Lakeside location for an appointment and was routed to a call center. They found an appointment available 75 miles away in Gulfport. Arrived yesterday at my appointment time and was told they didnt have the item in stock (battery replacement). Called again today and finally talked to a support person who called me back after calling Lakeside Apple. Support was having phone issues and couldnt get Lakeside, thats why they asked to call me back instead of staying on hold again. Was told if I could get there in the next 30-60 minutes, it was about a 15 minute wait. Got there in 30 minutes and was told by the person in the roped off lanes they only take walk-ins for new releases. They couldnt schedule an appointment there, you had to do it with a QR code online. If Apple cant support their own products and current customers, then they have a problem.
Lovely shopping center. Nice place to shop for ur entire family. The food court has alot of varieties, however, seating is limited.
Only visit this location if you can handle red carpet treatmenti feel like royalty every time i come here. meet me in the food court, i’m wearing cap and gown with really long tassel!
The safety protocols for visiting were executed very well. Appreciated the reservation process. The associate who assisted was very knowledgable. Made the vist efficient and of value.
Not as exciting as I thought it would be and the pandora store didnt have a signature NOLA charm to celebrate my trip
I need to say I have never received such crapy service in my life!!!! I had to drive 2 1/2 hr one way to the nearest Apple Store (3301 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70002) to pick up a iPhone12 Pro Max and drop off the now 3 day old iPhone 12 and was told I had to ship when the online person told me to drop it off at this location. I doesnt pay to give APPLE more money!
Great store, I found what I was looking for, the attention from the staff was good.
They have some awesome phones great location
This place. First of all, you have to schedule repairs over a week in advance. Then, my repair got cancelled, and they did absolutely nothing to offer me a new repair time or help schedule one. When I went online, there were again no available repair times. I had to call three times to be able to speak to a human, and the person basically told me I was out of luck and should just keep refreshing the Apple page until they had an available time, and that the earliest available one would likely be over a week away. Sending an iPhone in for repairs costs extra. This is ridiculous.
My first time ever bringing my daughter for repair!! Our appointment was for 640pm we was there early waiting patiently at first !! 640 came we check in the employee told me where to stand in line!! Then 640 came, 700 came 715 I ask the question do you tell the customers how much longer they have to wait!! The employee said no.. I ask what the ratio of employees for sales:repair the man just reply and said we are a little back up today .. I reply but the first employee told me the reason for being back up every customer was late for their appointment. So Apple dont have a disclaimer for late appointment he reply yes but no one reads THAT!! But If I was trying to return something 😕 you will be quoting the return policy like a script!! I am sorry my child is crazy over apple !! But the customer service is horrible!!
NEVER EVER HAVE I EVER BEEN TO AN APPLE STORE WITH SO MANY RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, AND LAZY WORKERS!! NO ONE PERSON HELPED ME FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES WHILE I WAS INSIDE THE STORE. THE REP WHO HELPED ME WALKED AWAY FROM ME AS I WAS TALKING TO HER AND A GUY STEPPED IN AND ASKED ME, “HOW CAN I HELP YIU, ARE YOU HERE TO PICK UP YET, I WAS CLEARLY ON THE GENIUS BAR SIDENOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT BUT, THE LADY THAT HELPED ME WOULD NOT LET ME BACKUP MY PHONE BEFORE REPLACING IT THEN TOLD ME THAT I COULD NOT FINISH SETTING UP MY PHONE WHILE IN THE STORE, SHE SAID I COULD WAIT OUTSIDE.BEFORE HELPING ME SHE STATED THAT NO ONE COULD BE IN THE STORE FOR 15 MINS, MANDATORY. THE BAFFLING PART ABOUT THAT “MANDATORY RULE” WHAT THAT 2 ASSOCIATES, YEP 2, AT THE SAME TIME, HELPED A CAUCASIAN MAN FOR OVER 30 MINS SET UP HIS PHONE. THEIR EXCUSE WAS THAT HE HAD TROUBLING SETTING UP HIS PHONE.I HAD TO WAIT IN LINE AGAIN AND WAIT JUST TO HAVE SOMEONE ANSWER ONEEEE OF MY QUESTIONS.AFTER MAKING MENTION OF THE BIAS THAT I EXPERIENCED TO TWO OTHER EMPLOYEES (THAT WERE NOT 6 FEET APART) THEY TONE BECAME VERY AGGRESSIVE AND UNFRIENDLY (ONE WAS A SHORT BLACK GIRL WHO HAD ON A RAINBOW HAT AND THE OTHER WAS A BLACK MAN WITH A BEARD AND SHORT SLEEVE SHORT. BOTH, CUT ME OFF AS I WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN MY ISSUE.NONETHELESS, I HAD TO STAND OUTSIDE OF THE STORE TO SET UP MY PHONE AFTER INHAD JUST WITNESSED THEM HELP ANOTHER PERSON SET UP HIS PHONE.
When treating myself into past tenants and my grandbaby and were going to enjoy our new shoes had to get the lady asked for the lake yeah yeah
Good place to shop.
I absolutely hate Apple products
Horrible!!! Don’t shop there. Was told to go and exchange my defective AirPods at this store and that we could just show up only to be denied. Covid Reasons. No need to even go in the store. Drove 2.5 hrs away after being to we needed to appointment just to get denied and no help. When I called I got hung up on. Y’all are terrible. Yeah CoVid suck but so does selling defective products and not replacing them.
Great shopping. Something for everyone. Love coming here.
Like any Apple Store, this one is staged by really good people. It’s also clean and doesn’t seem to be too busy. This is also surprising because it’s in a mall that is trying to remake itself. Also, as an added bonus, there is a Microsoft store across the hallway that looks identical to the Apple store. Microsoft didn’t even pretend to have an original idea. Haha
Garbage salesman no respect for someone that wants to spend almost $5,000 in the store today. Ive tried to talk to multiple people and not been able to get any help from anyone.
The sales people were rude
Not really hating, just not interesting.
Sorry didnt go there.
Good knowledgeable people,great customer service.
If I could give zero stars I would. The corona virus is no longer an excuse for bad customer service. If you cannot serve your customers you should not be open. And to tell someone that has a broken phone to just use someone elses I disrespectful at best.Normally, under the best of circumstances this store is just under staffed and has extremely long wait times. Now they just dont care.
Awesome as usually. But service was slow. They need more people working during busy times. Or a better way of selecting who is next to be assisted.
Such a great place but difficult to shop during these times
Nice place
You even ask a question you must have appointment. Screw Apple
Spent 3.5 hours during a pandemic to get mac fixed after sending it off for repair and having problem recur. Told genius he had only done what had already been done many times beforeSure enough the problem recurred almost immediatelyExtremely unhappy
Would like to give zero stars. Macbook broke and they dont have any available appointments to get it sent in. Only alternative is to drive to Hammond.
Great service from Kent!
Went here to get an Apple watch. To say that they were pretty packed, I was helped pretty quickly. Employee was very knowledgeable about product and helped someone as indecisive as me make a decision in no time. He completed my purchase right at the watch station and I was out of there in under 15 minutes.
Great mall. The food court has an awesome variety of places to eat! All the stores you would want to shop at! Definitely recommend
They aint fixing nothing. Told me to take my i-pad somewhere else even tho i bought it here
This center is crowded all the times. The store is so attractive. It is a complete apple store in a convenient location. The staffs are courteous and knowledgeable. Waiting time is reasonable .Only thing is they dont have any deal in the year round. Otherwise everything is good
The back on my phone cracked and I have apple care. I made an appointment with the apple store on Saturday night for Thursday at 11am. I asked the representative how long the appointment would take since I have to be at work at 1pm. She said I would need to replace my phone and it would only take 15-20 minutes. I arrived at 10:55 on Thursday and an apple store employee checked me in and told me to wait at the genius bar for a few minutes until my name is called. Thirty minutes later, I notice someone who arrived after me was being helped so I asked an employee how much longer I had to wait. He checked and apparently the person who checked me in cancelled my appointment. They queue me to the first position since it was their mistake, and someone comes to help me quickly. This employee said very few words to me and didnt keep me informed about what he was doing to my old phone. He told me to put in my apple ID and password, and put a new phone into my hands and walked away. He didnt even attempt to help me set up the phone. I tried to start setting it up but realized I couldnt because my phone service wasnt connecting with my old sim card. My fiance was making some other purchases and the sales rep helping him was very kind and got the manager for us since she noticed how upset I was with my experience. The manager said that some carriers dont automatically start working when the SIM card is plugged in. Normally, they dont contact my carrier but to leave me with a good experience, they tried calling my carrier for me only to find out that I needed to go into the store to reactivate my phone. I ended up leaving the store after 12pm, and I still had to go to my carriers store to reactivate my phone all before having to go into work at 1pm. Overall, I felt really upset and disappointment in apples customer service. I do appreciate the sales employee and the manager for trying to help me reactivate my phone. However, having my appointment cancelled and an employee who didnt really speak to me was unacceptable.
For such an iconic product, such a poor experience.
Twice (2) times I called Apple Store Support in New Orleans La. the first time I was put on hold for over a half an hour and did not get any one on the phone. The second time I feel that another half of a hour and longer is just to long.
So we had came in to make a repair on my wife’s phone. We had an appointment and was taken at the time of the appointment. The technician was very friendly and helpful. He told us how long to expect for the repair. We decide to take a look around and eat. when about hour we return and it was ready. Thanks for all the help. My wife is happy she has her phone functioning good now.
I wish I could give ten thousand stars instead of just five. I honestly didnt expect great service here, because the place is so busy all the time and its a huge company. However, I worked with two different amazing people and they were both honestly just incredible. Unfortunately I dont have either of their names, but one was extremely transparent and honest and told me everything I needed to know about a potential repair on my computer. He was also very funny. I felt informed and taken care of. The other helper was not actually a human but a guardian angel and she knows who she is (she also tried to answer my question about an opera aria that I heard while I was on hold with apple which just shows you how above and beyond these humans go at their job).
THE Delay itself was horrible but the service we received was pretty outstanding I never ever just walk in I always plan ahead and schedule an appointment and I suggest you do the same. There’s nothing in this world I appreciate more than Apple‘s customer service they are the Cadillac of customer services. You never me an angry irritable person there everyone seems happy to help and very proficient about fixing your phone.
Excellent service from the cashier
Great great great! Absolutely loved helping me set up my Apple Watch, totally relaxed atmosphere for how busy they always are, kudos to the workers, my head would come off if I was that swamped with customers, good job to them.
5 stars automatically because I love Apple products as a whole, also because the staff in this store are extremely knowledgeable I think the only downfall of this place may be that sometimes the wait takes FOREVER and it feels like you will never get called. But if your patient or if it’s not busy you will be in and out with knowledgeable and polite staff. So it’s very good !
I went to the store today to check on a no more than 20 days old iphone pro max that had unresponsive screen and very passive-aggressive lady who took my name and put me down for an appt basically told me I needed to pay for the repair because if the display is not working had it to be replaced. I ended up going to replace my phone through my phones carrier since I was not paying for an obviously malfunctioning phone. That was my first experience at the apple store I hope I have never have to go there.
I had a wonderful experience with this store. My daughter’s phone would not get past the Apple screen and my phone wouldn’t hold a charge. The gentleman that assisted me made assured me that he could help me and it would not be a huge expense. Both phones had to have upgrades in software and the batteries needed replacing. He was so helpful and a joy to work with. I spent an hour with him and it was worth it. The people that work in this location truly care about their customers. I appreciate their efforts and assistance.
Too crowded.
I made an appointment earlier in the week, arrived 10 mins early, and made my way through the crowd of people to the back to check in. Nothing can prepare you for the sheer amount of people in this store. I searched for someone to check me in and and after several minutes finally made contact with someone and they offered to help. They went ahead and checked me in and sat me at a table full of people. My anxiety was starting to build but I waited patiently for someone to take my appointment. I waited and waited and finally after 30 minutes passed with people coming and going and coughing and all over things, I start looking for someone to help me again. I had enough. I finally am able to grab the attention of an employee and they check their screen and advise me that someone called for me but no one came and that I will have to reschedule. I’m so annoyed at this point, I gathered my things and left. Why did I make an appointment to be skipped and have to sit at a crowded table with all these coughing and sick people to be ignored. There was no one calling names, and there were so many people in this store it’s impossible for any sense or organization or order. Their customer service is terrible. The ratio of employees to customers is far too low. They need to open a new store or start a program to have someone come to you. For as much money people spend on their products, the service at their store is a joke. My laptop needs help, but I’m going to have to think long and hard about returning.
Tl;dr: friendly, efficient service; make an appointment before going; talk to someone in a red Apple shirt immediately upon entering; listen closely for your name to be called.I went to the Apple Store for the first time today to have my iPhone battery replaced, after confirming thru tech support that the repair was needed. I made an appointment via the support line, but changed it easily online when I realized the first time I scheduled wouldnt work. I had some anxiety about going in after I saw all the negative reviews online, but I was able to use the info gleaned here and from the appointment confirmation email to prepare. I got to the store early and made sure to immediately speak to an employee when I walked in, who seated me at a table to wait. This area was pretty loud and busy, and I nearly missed my name being called; if you have any kind of hearing impairment, I recommend letting the employee know when you get there so they can help accommodate you.I waited less than five minutes when I was approached by another employee who ran a diagnostic, had me sign off for service, and let me know my phone would be ready in about an hour. I made groceries while I waited and then returned to the store, where they showed me to another spot to wait. Another employee came out shortly with my phone to have me sign off on another form and let me know I had a 90-day warranty from the date of the repair.Overall, I was happy with the experience and feel comfortable going to this store again for repair services. While the store layout is not ideal for the amount of business they seem to get, I felt like my case was handled effectively and all employees I worked with were kind and helpful. The system of shouting for customers in a loud store was the least effective part and definitely presents some accessibility issues for customers who are hard-of-hearing or who experience other sensory issues; I wonder if it would be possible for Apple to install a screen to show the names of customers who are next in queue, or to utilize some kind of paging system like that used in restaurants.
I’ve been fortunate to experience only 5 star excellent services on both appointments I’ve had with the Apple Store in Metairie. They were quick, friendly, and very helpful. Thanks Sherry!
Very bad experience at the store today. In the past, the people that worked there have always been friendly and helpful, oftentimes fixing my problems without me actually having to schedule an appointment. Today I was told that I would have to wait for 2.5 hours as a walk-in. The female employee did not even offer to look at my phone. Chances are it would have been an easy fix for her. Not pleased at all. I purchased my phone at an Apple store in Los Angeles last year and the service there was amazing compared to what I encountered today.
So I went in this store yesterday, someone greeted me, I told them I wanted to buy an Apple TV system, they stated, hold on Ill get someone for you. Another sales person approached me and asked, can I help you? I answer, Yes, I want to buy an Apple TV system he replied, hold on Ill get someone for you I waited and waited, then left frustrated. I went to Best Buy, asked for a Apple TV system and bought one. This is a true account, dear Apple Store, when someone wants to buy something in your store, please sell it to them, and not do a hand off three times.
Absolutely dreadful. Came in to get my battery changed, was told an hour for the time to get it done. Came back after 45 was told TO LEAVE AND COME BACK. Flabbergasted, I did as I was asked.Turns out, they messed up my touch screen in changing my battery so back to the apple store I go. Today, ran into the same problem. Showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment, told to leave and come back. I don’t understand how a store literally thinks they can tell you to just leave and not show up a single minute early for an appointment.I don’t know who the manager of this store is, but what I can say is that this is NOT how you run a business and Apple should be ashamed. I hope this place closes down, would happily drive to another store to avoid this dumpster fire.
So, I’m just gonna be completely honest, shopping in this particular Apple store is almost traumatizing. Okay I’m exaggerating a tad, but seriously, I have never before been to an Apple store and been followed SO CLOSELY. It’s as if they believed I was going to pull out a weapon and demand cash or a bunch of iPhones. I had to ask 2 separate employees if there was something wrong, to which they replied no and then asked why I was asking if something was wrong? Well I was asking because I tried to turn around and stepped on their shoes. They were so close to me I could feel their shirts physically touching mine. The best part is that when I grabbed a phone case off the shelf to scan it and pay with my phone, a nearby employee casually swiped the case from my hand and began ringing it up for me. First of all, don’t be rude. Second, a major part of the Apple Store experience is the ease of not having to wait in line or deal with employees by using self checkout on your phone. Anyway, I didn’t say anything. I simply paid for the case and left. I don’t even want to think about having to stand in that Apple Store ever again, much less shop there. I would recommend shopping at the Baton Rouge location or online. Unless of course you don’t mind strangers being so close to you that they are smelling your skin and touching you. By the way, it wasn’t just me. Before I left I made sure to walk around for a little bit and I realized each customer had an employee within arm’s reach of them. I understand the need to protect merchandise, but there has to be a middle ground.
Went to this place this night and the guy who assist me for my screen protector is the worst. I don’t know what his name. But he’s working at the accessories. First he gave me the wrong screen protector i told him i want the Belkin ultra curve but he just put the regular one. So then i came back and get replacement . I ask him if he can put it for me and he was like I can’t do that so i told him last time i get the same protector and they put it for me . I don’t know if he’s just lazy or what it’s not even busy that night . But he still put for me but the way he put it he didn’t even wipe the screen so the dirt is still in the screen then he put the protector. Im not happy because i paid $50 for this but it’s not good as i expected like the last time i get it.
I had to wait a normal amount of time to get in, and the technicians were very helpful except for one thing. My account needed to be recovered and the person who helped me did not put the request through, so I had to wait another 24 hours to get into my account. This is minor, but I really needed my phone, and this caused a huge inconvenience for me. I would suggest double checking your email before you leave so that you have all of the information necessary and do not have to go back to the store or call apple support (who could do nothing).
I love this place !!!
Larry was AWESOME!!! Very professional and concerned with my PROBLEMS. I truly appreciate his attentive and genuine care for CUSTOMERS SERVICE. Damn, this man Larry made my day. Go Apple!!!!!
I hope I’m spelling these right but I’m just going to name drop here... John, Drew, and Cassie were so insanely helpful and personable and almost made me feel like I was hanging out with friends at one point. I went in to do to take advantage of the trade in promotion... well long story short I never backup my phone to the iCloud and I was there for almost 3 hours. The entire time Drew took the time to get to know me and show me some music I might like and made me very comfortable. although I felt like the biggest nuisance ever they made sure that I felt welcome the entire time. If I ever have to come back I’ll make sure to come directly to them. Great store, amazing employees :)
The issue I had was over the warranty and they were more than happy to give me a loaner phone till I got my phone fixed
Although apple are good in business but if you want to be treated well and appreciated always send a mail to apple hq. Lake side manager will be calling you. Instead of spending hours waiting on line and when you book online and you come sharp on time you will have to wait another hour just to get to the bar.
They only care about selling you more stuff. They tried to tell my that my 2 year old phone that wouldnt hold a charge was obsolete and I could not get that battery replaced for $30 because the genius said it looked like it got water damage. Guess what? I went to a place right down the street and had it replaced in 30 minutes and phone is working great. There was no lines, no wait and happy to take my money. There are so many places where you can get an iPhone or a macbook fixed and this is NOT one of them.
Mark was incredibly helpful and friendly, while being very efficient assisting several clients at the same time.In addition he payed attention to a mentally-challenged person and later on a little child. What a great guy! Top employee!
Fast friendly service. Accurate orders . No complaints ever!! Awesome team !!
Very nice
After experiencing the worlds worst customer service at lakeside mall apple store, I can say they dont give a **** about all the bad reviews they receive. I went to the apple store with a bad battery problem (my phones charges really slowly and battery drains fast), The technician instead of just replace my battery for $29, he insisted replacing the whole phone. They are not there to help their customer the best they could, but try to make as much money as possible. Their stupid excuse is that they are not sure if battery is the only problem with the phone, thus I would be waste of my money to just replace the battery. Excuse me! Its my money and its my decision whether I wanted to spend the money or not. If after replacing the battery, and find more problems, its still up to me what I want to do with the phone at that point(but Im 100% sure its the battery). The whole time I was there, technician and managers were all so rude. They dont listen and interrupts you when you are explaining your problem. They are arrogant and act like we dont know anything. Definitely getting myself a phone other that an iphone now, so that I dont have to experience this horrible customer service again. Need to stay away from all apple products, not worth it.
