These guys saved my life. Computer was stuck in some kind of restart loop and the techs at Fixit pinned down the problem (a bad hard drive) and got me up and running within 48 hours. Not only that, but they installed a solid state hard drive instead of the old kind that my brother put in for me when it was built. The computer flies now and loading times are almost non-existent.Apparently, they fix iPhones too so my wife dropped her old iPhone X off when we picked up the computer. It had a cracked screen but it looked brand new about 45 minutes later. Got these guys on speed dial now!

I took a computer that had a water spill here August 2020 & ended up having to buy a new computer because of their awful customer service & neglect. When I came in, I told them that my machine had water damage and I would like to see what they could do. They assured me that they could get to it in 24-48 hours to avoid water sitting inside of the machine for too long. I was pleased with their turnaround time, paid the deposit and left. 48 hours came and left, so on day 3, I called to ask if my computer was finished yet. They assured me it would be looked at “this afternoon or tomorrow morning” and they would call me by “tomorrow afternoon”. I would call every day for a week and get this response.After calling every day for a week, I asked them where they were at because it had been MUCH longer than their original quote. Apparently, no one had even opened it. Furious, I told them I was picking it up now. To avoid losing their payment they “evaluated” the computer while I was on my way over. They waited a WEEK to even open the computer, while water was sitting inside of the machine. Their diagnosis: Water damage. Really? Who would have guessed it? They asked if I wanted to leave it their another “day or two” so they could address it and back my data up, to which I said absolutely not.I understand that they were busy but if they were honest about how long it would have taken, I would have gone elsewhere. Apparently they just wanted my money for an “evaluation” which was a complete rip off. I took the computer to two other locations who both recommended a new machine because Fixit Computer & iPhone Repair neglected my machine for so long. Both told me if I had it there a week ago, they would have been able to do more.Would not recommend, I was so disappointed and felt ripped off.

Best phone repair in the NOLA metro area! They are affordable and extremely friendly as well as honest. My whole family- even extended family uses them. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I even had a button jammed for 6 months. I tried everything even brought it to a Samsung rep with no help and in 5 minutes they popped it out getting it working like new! Highly recommend these people they are the only ones we will ever bring our phones to!

Kevin and Sam were the best. We are in the AudioVisual business and utilize a lot of MacBooks. Dealing with the Mac Store for repairs is a nightmare. Found these guys and they took care of us. Shocked this place has as many good reviews as it does. Avoid this place at all costs. Be aware: anything they do to your phone or any other device will void your warranty. Had a screen replaced and then a month later, my phone stopped working. Tech (Jason) opened my phone and told me it was completely rusted out. Questioned this due to the impossibility of it (phone didnt have any sign of rust/damage when the screen was replaced just a month earlier) and was treated so disrespectfully on the phone and in person when picking up the device. The screen was clearly not put on the device properly and water/condensation was able to get into the phone. Go to a certified place. Although it may be more expensive, theyll treat you better and wont ruin your device.

I brought my IPhone 6S in because the battery was dying and I did not want to purchase a new phone. They installed a new battery and my phone works like new. Their service and professionalism were top notch. I highly recommend Fixit.

They managed to fix a phone that I tried to fix myself and ended up totaling. It was missing all the screws, securing plates, and a screen and they happily helped me put it back together while only charging for screen. Even threw in a coupon because Im a new customer too. I swear these guys love to help people.

Every time I come here, I am treated well, especially yesterday. My daughter has a disability and has just bought a new Chromebook - we were having trouble with it and Kevin was so so so patient and helped us to coordinate it with her Android. Wow. Also, I recently have taken 3 computers for repair there. 2 are now functioning again at a very reasonable cost and one was going to be too much to fix for us and Sam advised us it just was NOT worth it. He is another wonderful tech person who always is generous with time yet to the point. This place is a blessing for our family.

Husband couldn’t get the charging cord to “snap” into place. They cleaned out all the dust in the charging port and even offered to charge the phone for me. Fixit Metairie is THE best!!! My iPhone X seemed to have died on me one day. I left it on the charger all night but it would not turn back on. Thankfully, Fixit Metairie was able to figure out the problem and fix my phone without losing any of my data. They were able to help me in no time, so I did not have to waste my entire day trying to get my phone fixed. These guys are legit awesome. HIGHLY REC! Took my 10 year old mac laptop to buy a new charger. They had it in stock. Then I asked a few questions regarding getting my old girl looked at and updated. They gave me a rough estimate, I brought it in the next week. They had it back to me that day and it is doing fabulous. THEN I took my iPhone back in after I tried to update my screen myself and it just wasnt working. Fixed it in an hour while I ran another errand. Love this place. Ive had several computers – Macs and PCs – in there and theyve always done a great job repairing them at a reasonable rate – and their communication is always great. There are no surprises when I go to pick them up. But my favorite part was the time I brought my iPhone down, convinced I needed a new battery since it wasnt charging properly. Instead the guy took out a flashlight and a tiny pair of tweezers and pulled out a small wad of pocket lint that had accumulated in the charger port. Didnt charge me anything for it. They could have replaced the battery – it was what I came for so it wouldnt have been a surprise – and quietly plucked out the lint ball and Id never have been the wiser. So I was really pleased.

I took my iPhone X to Fixit because the screen was blank and it would not turn on. I was originally quoted for a screen replacement and the price was reasonable. When I brought the phone in, the employee at the counter did a hard reset on my phone and it turned on. Better yet, they didnt charge me anything.

OMG......I really don’t know where to start....These people are quick, precise, kind, and amazing!! I came in about a month ago to get my screen replaced for my iphone XS because the hardware was defective. I initially went to Apple who said it was about $300 to get it replaced. I came hear after I saw the good reviews. I can not express how accurate they were. These people took my phone and they didn’t make me pay immediately and finished in a very timely fashion. It looked totally brand new and I paid half the price that I would have at Apple. If your phone has any issues, DEFINITELY 10/10, go to this place.

My laptop computer screen had a decent crack but there was nothing else wrong with the computer. But it was aggravating so I decided to price getting the screen repaired since it was really not that old of a computer. Brought it to Fixit to see if it would be worth repairing the screen instead. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They repaired my screen at a fraction of the cost of a new computer (which I did not need). So my screen looks perfect now and I don’t need to think about getting another computer (for now).

It was the best service i ever had at a phone repair shop. They handled my problem super fast, and did not even charge me for a minor problem such as trash in my charging port. I will take all of my business there from now on and tell all of my friends to do the same. Good job guys.

Unfortunately they werent able to fix my issue (my type of problem needs to be mailed off) but they were friendly, fast, and did refer me to someone who could fix the problem!

I have gone to Fixit Nola multiple times for problems related to my laptop, and each time they were extremely helpful. They quickly diagnosed the problem and have even been truthful to me when my laptop was irreparable. In that latter instance, they even refunded me my initial payment since they could not help me. I will definitely be going back to them if I ever have any other computer or iPhone problems.

My MacBook Pro went into lost mode and required a firmware password to get back into it. They performed “brain surgery” on my laptop and had it fixed and working in 4 days! (The Apple store said I was basically screwed and couldn’t help me, bs) Paid Fix It $163 which is so much better than buying a new laptop. Thank y’all so much. Fix It is the place to bring in your computer. I have used them multiple times for issues with my PC, Mac and my IPhone. Once, my phone was not charging and the guy just plucked the dust out, no charge. Another time I replaced a motherboard on a PC. It worked for a while, but then it failed. They replaced it with no hassle, and again, no extra charge. They are fair, fast and friendly. I will only go there for my repairs because they have treated me right every time.

Long story short I managed to get an SD card stuck in a SIM card slot and these guys were friendly, prompt, and competent. They didnt even charge me! They came highly recommended and I can see why. Found some good reviews of these guys on Google, seemed legit. Having issues late night with my phone, decided to shoot them a question on the listed contact ... To my surprise they got back to me within moments...past ten o clock at night via text message! Wow, thats service! Unfortunately they only work on iPhones as far as phones go, but whoever was behind that text message deserved this praise. He/she responded with some good advice of their experience and some recommendations. So, phone isnt fixed, but these guys went well above and beyond to help none the less.

I came in to get my screen replaced under warranty. I literally dropped it at the counter and it cracked only barely (meaning it would not be covered). I cried, they offered a discount that was reasonable, I signed for that price and left. When I returned, they informed me they were gonna warranty it anyway because “things happen.” This is the second time they’ve fixed my phone, and I’d absolutely recommend!

The techs at Fixit really know their stuff! I let one of those scam artists have control of my computer and I was terrified. After dropping it off, I got a call from Fixit with the all clear within 24 hours. My laptop was clean and ready to go. Love the crew at Fixit and cant say enough good things.

Had an issue, they fixed it in 30 seconds and didnt charge me because it was such a non-issue. I was oblivious, and they could have easily charged me a full fee for 30 seconds of repairing, but they didnt. If I have any more problems, Ill be returning here

Having my phone screen replaced here was a huge mistake. The phone screen stuck out from the casing a lot more than the original phone screen did, and though I had a feeling this would cause problems down the line, I let it go since I needed my phone that same day since I was getting on a plane to go out of town for a two week trip (thus the reason I chose to replace the screen rather than file for insurance to begin with since it cost MORE to replace the screen than it would have to replace the entire phone through my insurance). From the beginning the screen was kind of just *not quite right* for lack of a better term. I would have to swipe multiple times or tap multiple times to get it to work. Additionally, the screen didnt work well with the iPhones touch sensitivity feature AT ALL. My pictures with the selfie camera were also of much poorer quality than they were before. My plan was to return with the phone once I arrived back in town, but unfortunately, within days of returning in town (and no chance yet to return to the store), I dropped the phone from a relatively low distance as I was bending over to pick up my toddler and barely chipped the corner of the screen. The entire screen turned black and green rendering the phone completely useless. (Side note: Ive completely cracked iPhone screens on a few occasions and never once had it not continue to work despite having a completely obliterated screen.) I attempted to see if the company would honor the warranty they offer on their phones, or at very least offer a discount on the new screen since they had just installed this subpar screen 2 weeks ago, but since the screen was chipped, of course, they would not. I was offered the same price to fix the phone screen that I had paid just two weeks before. Of course, I chose to submit to insurance this go round for a cheaper price ($150) to receive an entire new phone instead of their subpar product that they dont back anyway.On top of all this, the employee that I dealt with the first time I went into the store was quite rude and seemed annoyed with my questions regarding the new screen (legitimate questions, like, Is the new screen at all water resistant?) and was very short with his answers. He was also very inpatient while I was silently reading the agreement he handed me to sign and even made a snarky comment (which I cant remember exactly but was something to the effect of, Do you just not want to do it then?). There was no one in line behind me. Maybe he had better things to do. I will say that I spoke with Kevin (who I assume was the owner or manager) on the phone before I came and briefly during my visit and he was very professional and seemed happy to help me. I almost wanted to ask if Kevin was available to assist me since I was such a bother to the other employee.

Way to go Fixit! I went and got my screen fixed about a month ago and they did it while I waited (about 1 hour). The screen stopped working Fat Tuesday night. I went in first thing in the morning and worked with Kevin. He was so accommodating, and they fixed the screen again for free. He was so kind to everyone he met at the desk or over the phone while I was waiting. He and his team are super knowledgable, and are going to give you best advice, even if it means they arent the correct people to help. Was blown away with the superior customer service, and will definitely refer friends to them if they need some tech help. They exponentially exceed the service and experience that you receive at the Apple Store.Thanks for killing it yall!

Ive been to fixit twice and both times they were extremely polite and helpful. I purchased a hard drive disc enclosure and they installed it for no extra cost. I also came by with a question months later and they helped me free of charge! I recommend these guys to anyone

Fixit Repair is the best!Went in today for a screen replacement because my screen was popping open.At first they said itd be $119.00 because it wasnt covered in my lifetime warranty.Then they said their tech guys would take a quick look at it and when he came back he said the battery was expanded which is what caused the screen to pop out so they would only charge me a little over $50 for a new battery and then they would replace the screen for free.I later came by to pick up my phone and they told me the screen replacement and new battery were both free!Just wanted to share this because I never received better customer service than this!

Would give them 10 stars if I could. Walked in with an iPhone charging port problem. They took it back repositioned it and returned it in 5 minutes. No charge. You don’t find that kind of integrity often anymore.

Called and asked if they could replace the charger port on an iPhone 5S. They said they could, and told me it would likely be a 45 minute wait. I said Id bring it right in. Guy looks inside the port, cleans it out with compressed air - it was full of lint. No charge, and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Theyll certainly get a real job from me in the future!

Got my phone screen replaced here. I have gotten repairs here before. Very, very professional. Simple, quick etc. I like the fact you pay when you pick up.That being said, the front camera area on this knock off screen is trash. Snapchat wont detect my face in any low light anymore. Also, the quality when zooming is noticeably worse. Good service, but you guys should switch your supplier! /s

I cracked my iPhone 6 screen last Monday and decided that Id bring it to the Apple store. The store was jam packed and couldnt fit me in, so I had to schedule an appointment to for Thursday. On Thursday I went back to the Apple store on my lunch break and they were just as packed as before. The guy in the front checked me in and sat me down at the table in the front, where I wait for nearly an hour before I have to go back to work. On the way home from work, I saw a sign for Fixit iPhone Repair, so decided to try them out instead. They dont require an appointment and dont charge anything until after your phone is fixed, which is nice. I was able to drop off my phone, run a couple errands, and pick it up about 2 hours later. My phone looks like new and their prices are very reasonable. I will be recommending Fixit to my friends.

I went in with my Mac Book that had a bad connection with the charger. Turned out it was just a loose screw. The employee said it was no big deal and fixed it on the spot in less than 30 seconds. Well, it may not have been a big deal to him but to me, WOW. Then he said there was no charge. I was shocked. In todays world there is so little good will out there.
