These folks are amazing. Battery died in Rouses parking lot on Airline. Got a jump and drove straight to CARS. They changed battery, got me two new tires that I had been putting off changing, changed a few belts, replaced tire sensors, changed oil, and a few other miscellaneous items. Car was ready that evening. CARS is the only place I will let service my vehicles.

To make a long story short cars Saved Me hundreds of dollars when I went there after my daughter said dont go to the place I was going to go to. My engine light was on. I found them on the Internet noticing they had 4.2 Stars which they definitely deserve. They knew what the problem was from the code that I got from AutoZone which come to find out it was a very easy fix and they turned off the engine light and there was no charge. Oddly enough My daughters car was acting up the next day and she called me for thier number and she was also very satisfied as wellI give them 5 stars!!

Brought my 2015 Escalade Esv in for a check engine light. The problem was a broken lifter. They worked with my aftermarket warranty and did a full engine breakdown, fixed it and even updated the onboard computer. Took some time, but thats what you get for good work done right. I will be returning for any other car needs.

I have used CARS on several different occasions with 3 prior vehicle, but it has been a few years since I used their services. In the past, staff has always been friendly and easy to deal with - and the price has historically been fair. This time, I brought my wifes car (14 X3 28i) in for a oil change using mobile 1 synthetic and oil filter change - no other services. Upon pick up, my bill was $144! Way to high IMO. They charged about $65 for parts, $50 for labor, and $13 fee (for disposal I believe), and then tax of course. Ive owned several BMWs prior to this one, and with much larger engines requiring more oil, and this is by far the highest the price Ive paid for an oil change. I even inquired about the price upon checkout to see if maybe the ticket was processed wrong and the lady working the front desk reviewed stating they had to take the panels off the bottom etc and went on with the checkout. If I would have known the price before hand, I would have brought the x3 to another shop. No point in arguing the ticket, but I will have to bring the x3 elsewhere for future services.

This is the best place to take your automobile when you need any repair. The customer service is first class and the work they perform is grade A. I have a vehicle with 250,000 miles on it and still going. Thanks CARS!!!!😃😃😃

I recently had my 2004 Trailblazer in the dealership for some rattling in my front end. When I took it, they told me my entire front end assembly needed to be replaced and the total repairs were over $3000. They recommended that I scrap the car and it wasnt road safe to drive anymore.Not happy with the answer, I found CARS in my Google search and it had a number of good reviews. Well, I am happy to say that I am now adding my good review! These guys are the best. Michelle takes such personal attention, she called or followed up multiple times with what they found and walked me through what options I had. All told, I had about $1200 worth of work and much of what the dealer said, they indicated I didnt even need. To test out the car, I drove it to Lafayette and back to New Orleans twice and it has worked like a champ in stop and go and high speed. They fixed it all and most importantly, they are probably the most honest car repair place I have ever dealt with!Take your car to CARS. It is the most hassle free down to earth group of folks and they know how to fix cars (a lost art in many places).

Friday morning before I was schedule to leave to go on an amazing road trip my car began to act up. It started bucking like a bronco on the Huey P Long Bridge, very scary. In a panic I called CARS and Michelle answered. She told me to come on over and within a few hours I was back on the road. It meant a lot to have such reliable people helping me. They really took care of me.

They offer many services for your car that can be found at other service shops but we are loyal to CARS because they are honest and they stand by their work. I used to worry about getting my car serviced or repaired because I just never knew if the people working on my car were trustworthy. I have never had that feeling with Julie and CARS. I know that if they say their is an issue that they are telling me the truth and they will actually repair the problem right the first time. As long as we live in this region we will use CARS for all of our automotive maintenance and repair issues.

I let them change out the radiator in my SUV. Did not find out how much I got taken for til it was too late. I could have went 1/2 mile up the road and bought the radiator for $128, which is by the way the same place they bought it, how ever it was marked up over 140%. They charged me $275 for the radiator. They also marked up the 2 gallons of coolant over 100% and this is besides the over $350 in labor cost. They will take you for every penny in your pocket and then some. Please dont become a victim like I and stay away from this place.

Called for a quote to change my break pads but the woman that answered must of been too busy smacking in my ear. She got my info and said ok call you back and hung up. Call me back for what? Wont think of doing business there again.Update: so she called back and left a message. Why the hell is it $557 plus tax to change front break pads? I surely hope I misheard what was in the message. Must be smoking crack.

I just called here to make an appointment to have a power steering belt put on my car. I explained that I think the previous belt was put on incorrectly causing it to break but that there was a possibility that there might be more wrong that that (and that I was crossing my fingers that there wasnt). The women I spoke to had a major attitude and instead of offering suggestions on how to find out what was wrong (i.e. diagnose...what mechanics are supposed to do, right?) she made it seem like it was too much of a job for them. So needless to say I cancelled my appointment and will be going elsewhere. If they dont want my business, I will take it to someone who does. Perhaps my $125 repair quote (which I know was inflated) was just too small of a job for them.

The lady that was working there explained to me very well the situation with my car and said she will try to make it as affordable as possible. Highly recommended.

My wife, my daughter, myself and my neighbors have used C.A.R.S. for years. Not only are they good mechanics, they are certified AAA mechanic shop which means a lot to anyone that knows about AAA. I give them a three thumbs up for customer service, quality and fair pricing.
