Great place to get a haircut. You can have an experienced barber or a student practicing their skills while the instructor has to ok the cut before they are done and its only 8 bucks.

They barely understand English. I had to ask about 3 times to receive a haircut because the 3 women who work there were ignoring me until the boss came out. I asked them for a low fade and 2 inches to be taken off the top. They chopped my hair down to an inch and gave me a high fade. Fml I’m sure if you speak Spanish there won’t be an issue but if you can’t stay out of there. I should have waited for the students to come in so I didn’t pay $20 for the haircut I didn’t want. Would not recommend.

The haircut I get from Bernice is on point every time. I love that they are all family and treat everyone like they are family.

Manuel has such a great manner with children and clients. We can say nothing less for this man and his place of establishment, school and business. My three year old grandson has been brought here by my daughter and I since his first haircut at a year old and even though I have taken him to other places, because of the distance I made the decision to go elsewhere but, I have learn to wait if, I have to. Busy place, is best to make an appointment. TVs to watch, a large vending machine with snacks in the middle, choice of the service from students to practice for a lesser fee in stride to become as good as their teacher Senor Manuel.

Staff are not that friendly. They dont smile. Welcome you in. Who knows maybe because my sons Mexican and Im not. Hes the only one getting a hair cut when I ask him go do it one way they cut nicely but font speak English.

Yes I agree with the busyness and the confusion but over all its a great place yes the students can be a little shy and not so uptight but the haircuts are good but mind u they are students and a 7 dll haircut beats the 20 or more barbershop out here so if one day those students want to open a shop they should interactive more that just do a good job cutting hair I gave the haircuts a 5 stars but the customer service is a 3

Student hair cuts offered for less than $10. They still do a good job, but Premium Professional Manuel (more for professional) is an exceptional artist when it comes to your fade. Perfect every time 👌 definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had. Kudos 🤙

Been going here now a couple months. Whoever cuts my hair gets it right every time. No regrets at all. And i always tip em good so i know ill get it next time. Might be a wait sometimes but worth the peace of mind

The haircuts done by students are always finished by a pro so the $7 is totally worth it. Be prepared for your cut to take up to an hour though... They are students.There are also cuts available througj the barbers.

Theyre great shop. They have an arrogance about them. My boyfriend just wanted to be lined up. He showed up 2 mins after closing. Instead of someone saying sorry like where closed. They just started at him through the door. Just courtesy factors that count

Nice people, but consistently bad hair cuts. The lineup is almost always crooked and they usually miss patches of hair. Ive gone here more than a few times for convenience because it is so close to home and normally not a wait. Good place if you need a cheap quick cut and you arent too concerned with quality, but Ive decided in the future I rather just wait until I can make it to my regular barber shop in another city.

I moved here from California. I had a Barber that cut my hair since I was a child. I couldn’t find any shop in Az that was able to cut my hair the specific way I like. I stopped by Manny’s about 5 years ago and asked if they could cut my hair the way I wanted. I now go every two weeks and go to the barber I like. The best part is they got to know me and I don’t even have to tell her what I want. I recommend this shop to every one I know. The stafe are professional and know what they are doing. They know old school and new styles...... Plain and simple the best

I’ve been going to this barber shop for almost 5 years now, after trying to find the right fit for me and experiencing other shops, I have to say this is the shop for me, not that the others don’t know what they are doing, but is mainly the part of listening to what you want done and how you want it done, not how they think it should be done, you want them to cut your hair your way not their way. Those are some but experiences I had, And always regretted.Back at Manny barber shop, I was thee before they expanded and had their own barber school, this place is growing fast and I see why.If you want that “barber” feel where there are just a bunch of guy with high egos and pride of “ I cut my clients hair better than they or him or you” don’t go here, or if you expect to hear rap, hip hop, or other type of nonsense music don’t go there. The professional barbers dont know how to do a gentlemans cut. Completely messed up my hair the day Im supposed to be in my best friends wedding. So beyond pissed I have absolutely no words. Do not ever go to this shop. Ever.

Best haircut place in Mesa, low cost and consistently well done. I would give them five stars but youll be in the chair for 30+ minutes as the student perfects your cut and it is checked by the professionals.

Ive tried a few places and could never find a place where they actually listened to what I wanted, instead giving me a generic cut closest to what I described. But everyone at Mannys listens to what you like, what you want, and are always respectful and get it done right the first time. I live in Gilbert now but I gladly drive farther, rather than go to the place down the street because Mannys gives me the same best cut every time. I never have to worry because everyone here is amazing at what they do!

It was my very first time at this barbershop since I wanted to try something new and was very skeptical about going to leave my haircuts to just any barbers hands. When I forst stepped in the place it was a nice pretty big barbershop, it was tidy and clean and was greeyed warmly by an older gentleman by the name of manny who asked if I wanted professional or student which at first I could not understand due to a slight language barrier. So i selected proffessional anyways not knowing what I was getting kyself into. So got to sit down, gave specific instructions on how I wanted my cut, however I had to reiterate myself to a younger female barber who then translated how I wanted my cut. So, here I was in for the excitement and I was at the edge of my seat not knowing DAAAM, my haircut was amazing and surprisingly on Fleek! 10/10 experience. Great customer service, clean place and such a convenient location! This is my New go-to barbershop.I couldnt be more Satisfied!
