Gonna go ahead and throw a five star review into the algorithm. Ive been coming here for about a year every other month or so and have yet to have a negative experience.

Love Keep It Cut in Mesa, best membership I ever purchased. Great service and outstanding cuts. Just got a clip and a shampoo from Sage and I couldnt be more pleased. Highly recommend.

I love Keep It Cut! Ive been a weekly customer for 4 years and and now my 12 yr old son has a subscription too. Kyla has been cutting my hair most of that time. First at Ahwatukee, and now at Mesa Recker. Shes awesome. Highly recommended!

Sheyanne cut my sons and nephews hair. She did an amazing job and was really awesome with them. I will be going back for sure. Its to bad Im bald or I would get a cut there also. :)All and all a great place to go.

Sage at the keep It Cut Recker location is highly skilled. She did a great job on my haircut starting with the very first visit. Very professional. The facility is very clean, also. Overall, a great experience.

This place is way better than sports clips. Took my teen son here. Love the ease of setting appointments online. Location is perfect to where we live. Staff is great too. My sons on shy side, so I was glad I could sit and wait.

My son and I did a walk-in at the Mesa location next to In and Out and Sprouts We found out we needed to make an appointment—they were currently booked. We did book for the next opening with Jessica. We went back to the scheduled time and (Jessica) said we were an hour late and they had no more appointments for that day. I told Jessica that she told us the time we came back for. She kept saying it was not her fault and kept repeating that as I pushed a little. She would not change her tune.She could have eventually said, “maybe I made a mistake and let me try and make it up to you.” I asked her maybe she should have written down the time on a card and handed it to me. She just said I’m sorry but there is nothing I can do for you. Either she has not been trained for customer service or she did not know how to help with the situation at hand.

I have been coming to this place for over 4 months and every time the service is better than the one before. I love my hair stylist Sheyanne, she is absolutely the best Ive had!! And the owners seems like they treat their employees very well and make them very happy. It is great to see good leaders like that who treat their people with fair and joy and make their work place a home. Very well deserved 5 Stars!

Keep it Cut on Recker in Mesa is unreliable. They do not value you as a customer.

Only gave 2 stars for cleanliness and appearance. Its a nice place but the stylists seem like amateurs. I was a rushed booking because someone was scheduled to come in soon. I feel like they should have made me wait if they couldnt give full and undivided attention. Beard trim was lopsided and rushed. Haircut was mediocre at best. Ive definitely had way better service at less established barber shops.

Been to this shop a few times now. Last time I got my haircut by Amber and she did a great job. Quick and easy, but well done with my fade. Really like the membership idea. Pay a fee once a month and get as many haircuts as I want. Plus I can choose a time on the app so I dont have to wait when I come in. Love it. Ill be back.

Great chill place. The ladies are great hairstylists and they pay attention to details. The price is just right. Isabella knows her movies as well as being generally awesome! You cant go wrong with visiting and getting a haircut here.

All of the barbers that cut hair at this location are a solid choice when you need a haircut. Literally, all of them are highly skilled. They always give me a solid skin fade.

Ive been to almost every Keep It Cut location and I love their consistency. As a member for quite a few years I continue to get a great haircut and service every single time. I use the mobile app to book my appts (sometimes even the day of) and I rarely have to wait more than 5 mins for service. The stylists are all really nice and Ive never had a bad haircut. Ive been to countless barber shops, budget clip joints and higher end salons. I really like the subscription model here as its a consistent and really great price for people that like to budget.Its a really great local business that provides jobs and cares about their community and clients.

I’ve been seeing the same barber for my beard for years, and moved to Mesa recently and he’s moving in a month and an hour drive so I asked around and found two black guys who swore by this place and I went in. Bit of a wait as everyone had an appointment so I get it, then Angie got me on the chair and did a phenomenal job. Friendly and does good work from what I saw with her client that had hair and my beard looks good. Very friendly and relaxing and pretty, so it all worked out extremely well.

I’ve been going to Sportsclips for years until I found Keep it Cut. The monthly membership is the best thing ever! I can get my hair done weekly and the scheduling with their app is super easy. My stylist Mandy is incredible and so detail oriented. My haircut never feels rushed and she always listens to what I want. The new shop is stunning, modern, clean and has a super chill vibe. The haircuts and washes never disappoint and the service is always exceptional. I highly recommend Mandy and Keep it Cut to all my friends and family. I consistently book online and then have to wait 20-30 min for the walk-ins to get their haircuts. Very frustrating. Never going back after it happening 3 times in a row.

Best way to get a haircut... Flat fee for the month, unlimited visits. The girls there are great and working hard for you; dont forget to tip when you show up for a trim. The monthly fee is deducted from my account so I always remind myself to bring cash to tip.

Not sure of the name, there was two of them. My greeting was asking if I checked in online firmly with an attitude. Not sure of the quality as I didnt stick around to find out. But to pay $19 per hair cut is absolutely out of the question after such a rude greeting. I will never come to this establishment or recommend it to anyone.

I took my son to and we both got a haircut. I liked mine but not my sons too much. He looked OK but I rather keep going to my original place. I like the hours though.

I joined the club for convenience. I also will make an appointment but then have to wait for the walk-ins. Why bother making an appointment! Walk-ins should wait.

Offensive and Shortsighted Manager (Mandy), although a good haircut. I was informed of the first month free if I sign up for the membership as I was referred. Problem arose when going to set up the membership, after the haircut, they tell me that as the person who referred me is not in their system I would not be able to get the first month free. So I asked the guy sitting in the lounge area if he would refer me so that I can get one month free and he said sure no problem. At that point the stylist said she would need to get an OK from her manager, which I was fine with as a the first month free trial is an valid offer that helps them grow the business. When the manager (Mandy) came over I explained the situation and then in a round about way she insulted me by insinuate that I have low ethics for trying to beat the system and then adding to it by implying im cheap by saying that she had never had anyone cause such a big deal over 30 bucks. Although the haircut was good I would rather not do business with people who insult its prospective clients. I opted to no longer continue with the membership and instead paid $19 for a one time service and provided a bad review so upper management can decide if the trial should be available to all who sign up a membership and ask for a trial or not.

I really dont like writing bad reviews. This is actually the first Ive ever written. I also wont mention names so i dont hurt anyones career. I will take this review down once my hair grows back out and is back to normal. (may be a while have to wait for 6 inches in some parts) To start off i showed them a picture of the cut i wanted and it looked nothing like it. My hair sticks out in some places and looks so bad. Its also sucks because I got it cut right before my first day of High school. Im so embarrassed. This cut has caused me to cry the whole night im not joking. Once again I will take this review down once my hair is fixed.

Staff is friendly but what is the use of getting an appointment well ahead in advance if you have to wait for 15-30 mins every time you visit it. I am a member here but things like this are super disappointing.Update: its 35 mins past my original appointment time of 5pm (Monday)and still wait for my turn.

Do the owners even pay attention to these reviews?? I know that a “sign-in” isn’t an appointment, but geez - learn to manage the expectations of your customers by widening the slot times between customers please - or figuring out how to deal with people who just schedule a haircut, so they can get in, but then want a shampoo, etc. Here’s an idea - just charge more and include the shampoo. I would guess that would handle the scheduling issue and these “schedule cheaters” are paying for the shampoo anyhow, so you’re not going to lose them as customers. Quite the opposite, since they (we) won’t get stuck unexpectedly waiting for an hour. A 5:40 online sign in should never result in a 6:30 sit down time! Not good at all. Yes. That nearly an hour wait time. Actually, that really sucks - even with amazing (Mandy really is the BEST) haircuts.Previous Review:Downgrading a previous 5 star review - for all the things this shop does well, it falls short on the sign-in concept and placing value on the customer’s time. This issue is squarely on the owners for making appointment slots too short. Every single time I sign in for an appointment online, then I arrive early. My appointment time rolls around and I wait. Then I wait more. Walk-in’s which were shoved in ahead of me consistently end up taking up my appointment time. So what’s the point of signing in, I wondered? Seeing that signing in online didn’t help me at all, I decided last Wednesday at 3 pm to just walk in without signing in online. There was exactly one customer in a chair getting service and 3 stylists standing at the register talking. As soon as I walked in, they said “oh, sorry, but we have 4 sign-ins ahead of you, so we won’t be able to get you in until after 7 pm.” Looking around, there wasn’t a single customer in the waiting area, so I looked at them incredulously and asked, “you really can’t fit me in now?” “Nope, sorry” they responded. Again, I must ask, what is the point of your sign-in system if you only honor the customer appointment when it suits you? It’s a big disappointment and very unprofessional. Most men don’t want to spend over an hour trying to get a haircut, but as yet, I’ve never spent less than an hour for a haircut at the Mesa Keepitcut location. Also - if the waiting time issue isn’t going to change, you could at least get some comfortable seating in the waiting areas. The wooden slat benches are small and uncomfortable.Original review:Mandy was my stylist at Sports Clips, so I was happy to see her resurface at Keep it Cut. The shop has a nice, open air vibe and friendly, laid-back stylists. They could improve the wait area seating and staff up to shorten wait times, but the level of attention to detail on the haircuts is what keeps me coming back. I pay by the haircut, rather than the monthly membership. I still haven’t decided whether the monthly membership is a good deal for me personally, or not, because I don’t have very good haircut habits and I’m not an obsessive kind of person that gets my haircut every two weeks.
