Not as great of a cut as I hope based on the reviews. My sideburns were cut at completely different levels. One was cut by the top of my ear while the other was towards the middle of my ear. When going around my ear, one side had a lot of skin between my ear and hairline and on the other side the hairline is right next to my ear. They did an okay job blending my hairline but I’ve gotten better haircuts at Sportsclips.

My husband has been to several barber shops in the area and none of them did a particularly good job or their shops were sloppy or they talked too much about politics and other things that my husband wasnt comfortable with. He hasnt found a barber shop he liked until today I went with him for the first time and visited Pristine Barbershop. Right off the bat Luis made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Hes got the gift of gab, in a good way, and is very kind and considerate. His shop is too cool for school! Lots of fun old school pictures, signs and things to look at, totally clean, and hes even got a cool turtle there! He listened to what my husband wanted in a haircut and got right to work, all the while chatting with us. By the time we left we felt almost like wed known Luis for years and we walked out with smiles on our faces. He gave my husband the best haircut hes had since weve lived in Mesa (a few years now) and we loved the friendly and kind atmosphere. Luis and Pristine Barber Shop are a treasure in Mesa. I wish him much success here and hope he stays here a long time! He definitely made a new customer today!! We both highly recommend this shop!

Honestly Im really picky about who cuts my hair and waited a long time to get it cut. Went in there and the atmosphere of the shop was great and got welcomed in right away. I never, ever post reviews of places. But for this place I had to make an exception. Went in this morning to get a haircut and wow was my haircut super clean. The guy took the time to give me a precise and extremely clean haircut. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else now.

Best haircut I’ve ever gotten!

First off, if you just want a quick cut, dont come here. This is an OG shop, and they stay true to how a barbershop is supposed to be, which means laid back and relaxed. Luis and the guys genuinely care about their customers, and they take pride in their work. The shop is very old school; checkered floor, traditional chairs, etc. I asked for a gentlemans and got one of the best cuts of my life. The point of a true barbershop is the experience; a chance to slow down, have a conversation, and get a good haircut. Pristine delivers all of that in spades. 10/10, recommend to anyone with an appreciation of the art, and will definitely be back. Big ups to Luis in particular for getting me lined up properly.

I went there for my first time about a month ago (a little late posting this) and I absolutely love it here! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good barber. The atmosphere was great and the woman doing my hair was friendly and nice. So big shout to Emily I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

Luis was very thorough and did a fabulous design for daughter. He was in no rush despite a lobby with waiting patrons. We will most definitely come back. Couldnt have asked for more.

Best barbershop ever

I went into Pristine Barbershop this morning for a haircut for the first time since moving into the area. Marcus was the barber. He did an excellent job. I will be back when I need a haircut the next time.

Ive had my haircut by Luis the owner and Danny another barber and both give great cuts. Has taken me some time to find a Barber like I was used to in NY. So glad I found this shop! Definitely go check it out if you need a good reasonably priced cut. They actually fixed the horror story a few other barbers in the area.

The last two times I went had to wait forever Barbers needed to do more cutting and less talking used to be a really good place

Luis is awesome. He hooked me up on a fade and lined up my beard. He also gave my 2 year old a super clean 2nd haircut. Best bang for the buck in east mesa and the valley for that matter. Good conversation also. Ill be back for sure.

Got a haircut today at a new shop I tried for the first time. Went in with my wife, Ivy and immediately received a friendly greeting from the proprietor, Luis. Nice guy, very personable and I got a great haircut. Luis runs a nice shop with some great decor and he shows lots of enthusiasm with great conversation. I highly recommend Pristine Barber Shop! Oh, they have a cool turtle in there also!

This is an Awesome Barbershop they leasen to How you cut your Hair Thanks to the Young Lady there she is Super.

Overall a mediocre haircut at best . The guy was cool and shop is clean . The haircut took almost an hour to get it done. Had to come back and get it fixed . The young girl that worked there fixed it for me free of charge. I might come back and see her again.

I straight up mess with this barbershop 💯. Very simple reasons why: 1 they remind me of my home style barbershop back east. 2 the guys and girl of the shop can cut. Straight up enjoyed having my hair cut twice here. And each visit was with 2 different barbers. One being the store owner himself. Straight up enjoyed the cut, the prices, and how clean theyll leave you feeling. Full on razor touch ups... Steamed towel to the face for close shaves or head if youre treating waves. These guys and girl work with all different styles of hair. So come one come all. Ladies theres nothing wrong with having a touch up or a lining after youve gotten your hair done.
