Was looking to chop the hair off and I am known for just walking in and giving whoever a go (risky, I know) but yet again was very satisfied with my decision :) called ahead to see if they had availability and they did. This was my first time here, and honestly I can say I will be back again. I had called and Erin said she could fit me in for a cut and color. As I was waiting everyone was extremely attentive, and made me feel comfortable. I really wasnt sure what I wanted, so I told her to do whatever she wanted....I have never been so happy with a style and color before. People seem really happy with this place. I was not. If you have thinning fine hair, dont go here. Also they are crazy expensive.

I’ve lived in Brevard about 7 years and have been to a million salons from big to small . I found this gem about 9 months ago and I have remained faithful . This place is amazing and the work is always consistent . Desiree is fantastic and lee also . The prices are astounding and you cannot beat them for the time and work they put into your hair it’s incredible ! I’m from Miami and the amount of time they put in where I’m from costs hundred of dollars and here you can have phenomenal work done in under 150

My sister-in-law recommended Lee at Spectrum Hair Salon. I had been cutting my own hair and was not sure anyone could fix my mess. Lee gave me an amazing cut and the perfect color to blend in with my gray hair. As my hair has been growing out I still have a cute haircut which shows what a great haircut i received. The Salon was beautiful, the staff friendly, the prices competitive and even the restroom was spotless. I can highly recommend this salon.

This place is very very fairly priced for the quality work they do. I walked in without an appointment and one of their hair stylists, Erin, was absolutely hospitable, sweet and funny. I went in requesting a ‘Hollywood Hairstyle’ with a ‘vintage’ look and Erin delivered 100%! Erin is very skilled with other intricate styles and designs (I viewed her Instagram) and she was very careful. She’s a self-made artist. Would recommend her to all Floridians!

I tried this place out for the first time last week and I absolutely love it! I got my haircut by Lee and I can honestly say that I have never received a better haircut than what she gave me. She took her time, made sure everything was even, and even managed to give me a style that complimented my curly hair. i have received SO many compliments on my hair its crazy! I love, love this salon with one exception. All the stylists, Lee, Christine, Erin, Maria, Kelly and Jennifer are great. Hated to see Kelly and Jennifer leave. I’ve always had terrific service at this salon, until recently. I had asked Lee for an eyebrow wax. She suggested I allow Melba to do it as Melba was trying to grow her clientele list. I agreed. After speaking with Melba for several minutes about what I wanted and expected, she began working with the wax. She was then to apply some coloring to the brow to “enhance” the look. During that time, she asked if I wanted my eyelashes colored, too. I responded with a “yes!”. At the conclusion of the appointment she provided me a mirror. I was APPALLED!!! About half my eyebrows were completely gone. Gone, as in no hair there at all. The brows started as usual above my eye but by the mid-point of my eye, the brows were nonexistent. There was no coloring at all on my brows or lashes. I left her room in anger and in tears. Lee’s response was, “OMG, what happened to you?”. Melba’s response to Lee was that “ my eyebrows were like that when I came in”!!!! Lee, Jennifer and I know that is not true. For years, I’ve been told that I have plenty of brow but that they are just too light to see. Melba’s response that my brows were “like that at the beginning of the appointment”. So, then why did she accept me as a client in the first place? I think, greed. Only greed. Recently Lee “suggested “ to Melba that she should apologize to me. Melba approached me, looked me directly in my face and said, “Your eyebrows were like that when you came in”. That was her apology. In conclusion, I wouldn’t hesitate to use any stylist there but I wouldn’t let Melba touch me, dead or alive. This is as true and factual statement as I can make regarding my association with Melba.

I have been a loyal client for about six years, Cara, Lee, Jennifer and Erin are all awesome! It is a busy salon, if you want a $300.00 one on one experience go somewhere else. This place is fun, family oriented and it is one big happy family. Mamma Lee will feed you if you are nice to her and it will be the best Korean food EVER. Cara is the best for cut and color. Just tell her to do what she thinks will look good and she will never disappoint! Great products and they never go for the hard sell. Not pushy. Microblading and facials are here now too! LOVE IT!

WORST hair coloring experience of my life and I am over 47 years old. Went in to get a root touch up (my stylist on vacation) and a deep conditioning... the touch up color was way off and she didnt get anywhere near my scalp to touch up the roots, forgot to deep condition my hair and over trimmed my hair length in the back by over 3 inches... When I went back the very next day to have my roots corrected, the stylist over compensated the root color, using highlights on my roots, now my hair looks like I stuck my head in a bucket of bleach . I paid $80 for root job/ deep conditioning, gave a $10 tip and I ended up with what looks like a really bad home job.. My haircut was a butcher job... I ended up with layers on what was nearly one length past my shoulders and bangs on half my face!.. neither of which were or would ever be considered . My hair is fried beyond repair for a year... Wont hold a curl and it now takes 6 or 7 pins n hair combs to pull it off my face and into a pony tail... As Im showing the manager my chopped off hair,3 to 5 inches off left side of my face, shes trying to convince me how nice my hair looks, ( while trying to make me feel childish,) and asking if I have any before pictures.... I found several ... I got a butcher haircut without a doubt !.. And a minimum of a years worth of damaged, fried, unmanageable hair. The manager walked off without a word, left me sitting in her salon chair close to 15 minutes, came back, got my number, said she would review this situation and personally call me the next day.....she never called...

She has an awesome, professional staff which offers various services at her salon to accommodate everyones needs including guys and children.

My daughter recently had her hair lightened by another salon and was told her hair was so unhealthy and that there was no way to help the fact that it was frizzy and yellow instead of blonde. That cost us almost 200.00. I called Spectrum on Labor Day and asked if they could help. I told my daughter to really make sure they seemed comfortable with doing something before she moved forward with it. Lee listened to her, assured she could do it, trimmed her hair and gave her a light brown base (her natural color) with blonde highlights and its gorgeous AND healthy looking. To top it off...it was less than half the price of what we just paid at the last place. I’m going there next time for sure. I highly recommend Lee!

I cant understand how someone who is dealing with chemicals on your hair can answer the business phone and personal cell phone to make appointments, deals with walk ins and cuts hair while I am on the side cooking in chemicals, make coffees for other customers and play with their dog in the shop while doing your hair. This result has caused me to never visit the owner at the salon again. My hair was ruined and over processed and with uneven results. I rather pay more for a professional that deals only with me. I wish I would of read the reviews before I went here for a frosting. Not a good way to run a business.

I asked for a trim, specified and inch or less to be cut off. They cut of 3-4 inches and left my hair with choppy layers that won’t blend. My hair is now what I consider unmanageable.

My boyfriend actually recommended this place and hes always gotten a good haircut, so I decided to try it since I just moved here and didnt want to travel all the way back to Oviedo for a haircut. HUGE MISTAKE. Cant blame my boyfriend or the owner, but my hairdresser stopped my haircut at least 5 times to chat, socialize, answer the phone, help another customer find an umbrella, chat with her daughter and she never listened to a word I said about what I wanted. I even showed her a picture of MY OWN hair from last month and said, THIS is what I want. Ive been growing my layers out for 3 years, and what did she do?? Cut an inch off and put layers in that will now take at least another year to grow out. And she put thinning shears to my hair without my permission. She didnt even ask and by the time shed cut 3 times with the thinners, my hair was ruined. Now I will have little tiny frizzy hairs sticking out from the longer ones from the thinners and my already coarse, curly hair will be a frizz factory for a very long time to come. I also paid extra for a conditioning treatment, but the hairdresser put so much sticky mousse in my hair after that it felt like someone had put glue in my hair....so much for that extra conditioning treatment. At the beginning of the appt. she asked what I wanted done and I told her, but she completely ignored me and payed too much attention to all the other activities going on in the salon. I did complain after the fact and the owner, Lee, issued me a credit for free services next time....but honestly, I dont want there to be a next time. Ill be driving to Oviedo, over 40 miles away, for my haircuts from now on. Also, when I complained, the hairdresser was rude and said that my haircut was good and that I should love it. Excuse me??? Ive never been treated so badly in my life by someone who I was paying to do a job for me. When did the customer is always right go away in this culture?? At least I know it will grow back....in a year or so. EDITED TO ADD: A refund has been issued and a gracious apology was received. I hope this was a teachable moment for my hairdresser to pay attention to her clients wishes and LISTEN.

I dont normally write reviews I never thought I would get my hair done at a place like this. (Im not a solon type of guy) but I found myself next door at home depot and figured it was just a haircut. Let me start of by saying how impressed I was with the friendliness and profesionalism of the people working inside, Then the perfect hair cut I recieved at a very afordable price. i will be going back again. And I highly recomend them to anyone. Thanks everyone for a PERFECT hightop.
