Urban Roots Salon is the best salon in Meridian! They are very professional and do an amazing job of their services. I always get my hair done by Miriah, and she is amazing! If you want to pamper yourself, Urban Roots is that place to go!

I went to Urban Roots for my wedding make up and hair as a bride. My trial run was so helpful in deciding what I wanted. And then the day of, with all my bridesmaids there getting their hair and makeup done as well, went perfectly! My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it and my makeup was flawless. Taylor has been my stylist for about 6-7 years and I have truly found “my person!” In the styling world. She is excellent at color. She has helped me over the years find what really works for me (and it changes!) and is amazing! I always leave there excited about how she has cut and colored my hair. She is very knowledgeable about product and offers suggestions (if asked) without ever (!) being pushy or making me uncomfortable. I trust her and depend on her professional opinion... which she offers but always listens to my input and concerns. There are days I want to talk and others that I bring work in with me and want “down time”. My young adult son is also a client and he is not too interested in hair/appearances ...yet he also loves her. She simply knows hair and knows her clients! As someone who had previously salon- hopped, trying to find someone I like and trust, I can 100% recommend her!

I love the atmosphere here at Urban roots! Professional staff and friendly people always! I go and see Miriah Reynolds here and she always does a wonderful job with my hair. Always making sure she understands what I want, communicates with me about every step in the process and makes sure I like the final result. Which is always beautiful! ❤️ She does both mine and my husbands hair and every time does not disappoint! I will recommend this place and Miriah to anyone and everyone that will listen! Taylor does and did a great job coloring my hair. She also is petty and unfortunately will cut you off if for some reason you don’t say the right thing. I had her cut my hair and color it a few times. I always tipped well. But if she couldnt have it her way, she would say things that were untrue. For a young girl that’s wants to become a nurse, Taylor needs to learn empathy and to care for people. This young women is cold hearted and needs to know not everyone is like her. Time to grow up!

Amy did a great job with my pedicure and my daughters mani/pedi. It was my daughters first time and she was great with her! Miriah did great with my haircut and said if I wasnt satisfied with it to let her know and I could come back and have it fixed. The prices are very reasonable for what you get!

I finally decided to go radical and cut my long hair short. It was the best hair “styling” I have ever had done. It was not a “cut” but a very professional “style” and for such a great price. I cant believe how exceptional this salon is. Thank you!
