For over 40 years comcast has refused service. I live between 2 subdivisions and comcast provided them service I asked a service guy and he said he would put my information in. However, I havent heard from comcast and its been over 4 months. Makes me wonder why???
The techs need more training but theyre friendly. The ones on the phone for customer service out of Tennessee are very nice, so thats why I put 2 stars. The techs keep saying theres electric problems. The electric company says there are no problems so we are 8 days without internet. If this keeps up Ill switch companies I guess.

Comcast played me. I use to have home internet plus cell service. I moved to a rural area so I had no choice but to let the internet go because Im rural and their services dont come where I stay so Comcast told me if I paid 20 a month for not having internet I can keep my phone line...biggest headache ever...they never could find my account without going to atleast 3 different representatives fast forward I broke my screen n had bein paying on my phone with no insurance for over an year I had 9 more 12.00 payments bf it was paid over so I called n rep said my phone will have to be paid off b4 I could get another one so I said cool lets pay it off but soon as I paid it off the store rep told me I had to pay for my new phone in full if I wanted one. So I asked what was I paying 20 extra for if I couldnt upgrade my phone n finance it like I did my other one? So I felt played n robbed by xfinity mobile
The young lady that waited on me was really helpful and even gave me her card in case I had anymore problems.
Our Sales person was very nice an friendly. She answered all my Questions, an got our cable an internet set up quick.
The representative was very helpful and so pleasant to work with.

Absolutely horrible. I go to the office for a box switch. Have the customer service agent ask me if I have 3 boxes. I state o only have 2. She says there is a 3rd on your account. I explain to her thats incorrect. She tells me I need to figure out how to get that fixed. I told her I am standing ina Comcast office talking to a Comcast employee, lets rectify this. She says she cant do anything about it. I ask her how am I supposed to fix the problem off she wont address it. She told me to leave and call someone. Worthless customer service from a very rude and indignant employee
Once I located the drop off center, it was very easy to drop off my equipment. The employees were very friendly.
They overcharge ppl,with old codes instead of calling them and update them on package and deal they have for that year, instead they keep codes in to overcharge ppl!!!Rasta $Child

Canceled service within the 30 day time cause for some reason couldnt get the internet. Turned in all their equipment like they said to do no problem right, WRONG!!!! Someone at Comcast has pulled $740. 00 from my bank account my bank statement shows Comcast withdrew the money but Comcast says NOT US. NOW IM JUST SAYING IF THATS NOT STEALING WHAT IS ? They got their equipment and my money and said because they dont see it on their end oh well. Friendly staff, yes they have big smiles 🤓 while they rob you 😲🔫

Former customer. The internet speeds were so erratic as to often be unusable. If you added up all the hours I spent on the phone with customer support, it would probably be in the 40-50 hour range. Add to that the days I had to wait at home for their technicians and they should have been paying me. After I had my service disconnected and arranged service through satellite (rural customer here), the new company installer told me that Comcasts original installation was at fault. He said they use unlicensed sub-contractors to do installations and the sub-contractor that Comcast had used here did a very substandard installation. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. PS: Others have made comments about the workers at the payment center. If anything, I feel sorry for those ladies. Theyre not in charge and they usually take the most abuse from angry customers. It has to be akin to working in a battle zone.
Since March 31, 2015 I have been attempting to get a problem of poor reception fixed. Every one of the Technicians has been polite and willing to help but.... after they leave the problem persists.When it rains or gets damp the picture pixelates and at times becomes unwatchable... The feed line has been replaced, signal levels checked, etc. etc..... The feed line from the pole to the house was replaced on 05-27-2015... They didnt bury it so for 2 months it has been lying on top of the ground.I stopped at the office on 07-18-2015 (again requested the cable be buried) and was told that an appointment was made for 07-25-2015 to bury the cable........ This morning a technician called to verify we would be home and he would come out to do a service call. He had no information about what the problem was. He cancelled the service call and said he would submit a work order to have the cable buried..............Its my personal opinion that the complete lack of customer service is amazing for a company like Comcast..... It would seem that they would attempt to fix a repeat problem rather than just ignore it.
I went in today with several issues. I was helped right away and with a smile! Very pleased with the customer service and their helpfulness!!

As many problems as I have with Comcast (corporate-wise), Ive never really had a bad experience in person at this service center. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is almost always a line there but it moves pretty quick.
Worst customer service ever! Zero stars was not an option so 1 star it is. When we signed up for internet ~6 years ago, the tech was supposed to run the cable line on to a pole. Instead, they ran it through our flower bed, through the middle of out driveway and across the yard where we park. It gets run over every day. As a result, the line has been exposed for years now. Every time we call to complain, they send a tech to run it properly and all they do is kick dirt over it. This has happened about 6-7 times. 🤦
I would rate Comcast a ZERO, but its not an option! The customer service is horrible and the cable service is mediocre. I called the service center and was transferred four times. One rep told me that she could not see my account because my account was on Vision and she operates on some other system. Was I supposed to know what Vision was??? Train your reps not to use your jargon with customers. On the 4th transfer...still...no help. If I were not locked in a contract it wouldnt be a second thought to go with another provider for everything. I have Triple Play with Home Security, Cable and Internet. NONE of them are great. If you want home security....remember, they are a not so great cable company...dont do it!! They get you with a bundle deal...dont believe the hype. I would not recommend them to an enemy. I will note that the service center in Meridian gave me clarification on my contract after the run around by Comcast Customer servce line. So this review is not a from a bad experience with them. Overall experience with Comcast...Rate is ZERO.
I checked website yesterday for hours. It says they open at 9 am. I got there at 9:25. Sign on door with posted hours are 9-6 but the door has a time lock on it and won’t open til 10. I can’t believe that a “teck” company can’t post correct hours on web site. Typical of dealing with Comcast. I have panic attacks every time I have to call them!
I use comcast because my apartment building will not allow any other, with that being said, I have been unsatisfied with my online performance for going on 3 years. Called several times and the terrible performance always returns. Everyone is polite but thats the only thing I can say positive about this company. Inconsistent, constant failure, horrible performance around the clock, and their answer is always to replace your router. Why does this company demand a premium price for mediocre service at best? Dont say I didnt warn you.
I too would rate them as 000000000 if it were an option. I maintain this service for my 75 year old mother. She reads Facebook, watches CNN/Fox and plays spades. That is 100% it. i am paying $150 *)*&&^ing dollars a month. I went in and asked them to explain my bill....ha....what a joke,...well sir you were billed correctly I know because i am looking at it. Not once did they explain the bill.I want to blow a gasket every time I go home because I know it is going to involve spending part of my vacation screwing around with ComcASS. Cut the cord and run if you can.
Closed at 5:45 even though sign says 6:00. People were inside laughing! There was another person that said as he was driving up to the drive thru, they pulled down the shade and closed. This place is HORRIBLE! I will switch my service and CUT THE CORD! I advise EVERYONE to leave this HORRID company!

Its horrible service. They lie to you to get your service then it is nothing what they promised. I even recorded the phone conversation when they called trying to get us to switch to Comcast. I put it on speaker phone for everyone to hear the conversation of what they guarantee the bill to be. We even recorded it and I said Im going to record this so I can make sure Im not over charged. The bill was over $356.00 It was supposed to be $119.95. the first 3 months the service didnt work. I had to return the equipment for it to only be the same problem. They also said I could record it on the DVR and wait it on any other TV in the house but it didnt. I plainly asked them if the service was anything like DirecTV. They promised it would work the same. It does not. They finally come about 5 months later to check it out
Still the worst in customer service. They cant do anything right. On the phone or in person they just cant get it right. Too many issues to name. I dropped the cable service 6 years ago because they kept lying to me, and charging more than they quoted on the phone. They were fined by the FCC 2.3M in October for fraud, and they are still bad actors. That fine was no more than a payoff to the FCC to let them continue to rip people off. Do yourself a favor and DONT do business with Concast.
THE WORST INTERNET PROVIDER IN OUR AREA. Since they are the only cable company in Mississippi they have no competition to be better than. Therefore they have a complete disregard for quality service. My family had to wait a month before finally getting Internet. After that the wifi/Ethernet works for about 30 minutes before crashing then waiting 10 minutes for it to start working again. We have replaced our router. The problem is YOU Comcast. Your service is not appreciated and if you are honking about switching to Comcast in our area DO NOT
The people are very friendly, but their service costs too much for what you get. 200 channels and only watch 20 or so. They really should rethink the packages.

We are very disappointed with comcast service. We will be going back to Dish once contract is up if not sooner. We were struck by lightning twice. First time blew out my mother n law hdmi input. We just though it was just freak of nature. The second one the next month. Blew out wifes tv hdmi and laptop connected into television. The service guy who came and checked tv. Said it came through satelite box. Started checking closer found that the splitters had no grounds. Both times they had to come out replace all cable boxes and internet box and splitters. Last time blew cable box off the wall. After this second time of this happening we called comcast out because we wanted to file a claim. The tech came out and checked everything he needed to check. He told my wife that the issue was because there was no ground cables on splitters they should have grounded to power box ground. Also so said we had good claim. That he was going to send someone out to get this grounding taken care of. They came out ran the ground wires from splitters just lean oppsite end against the house been like this for three weeks. This started March 23 2017 an has still not been taken care of. My wife and mother n law have talked to several people at comcast and their service center. have been getting run around. Ive been gone a month for my job. Ive ask have they heard anything. So I called the tech center today theyre sending someone out tomorrow but we will see. as far as the claim we were told they they was not going to fix anything that they were not electricians. so i advise you to consider this information. I just assumed that if your product caused damage that they should be liable SO DISAPPOINTED CANT BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT COMCAST HAS BECOME. all we wanted was just for them to pay for laptop to get repaired and get my money back for having one television repaired.
I just moved 10 miles down the road, an cant get service. Im still being charged, I tried to call, but get a bogus number from the website. Used the app to talk to someone they told me they cant do anything. Im tired of the run around. Im cancelling my service come Monday, absolutely ridiculous.
Comcast in, Meridian,MS is a real life cable nightmare. If you want cable tv in this area, unfortunately you have no other choice. If I wasnt already a customer, I assure you Comcast would be my last resort. The price increases without any notice and the rudeness of the employees when you inquire why your cable bill increases every few months is enough to make me give up tv entirely!! Do not believe any price quotes for anything. It might be that one month but not much longer. My quote of $34.95 for basic cable and $19.95 for WiFi is now almost $97.00 a month. Thanks, Comcast for taking care of your long_standing customers of 30 years!!
