How can an insurance company send you bills for insurance that was canceled over 6 months ago! With Proof of insurance being canceled. Now 6 months later after we don’t even own the home are requiring that I send proof of other insurance. The worst insurance company I have worked with.RandyYour response is completely in accurate!! I would be happy to forward all emails to you that prove this is an error on your end (auto owners). Your response is laughable and completely inaccurate!! How much more dishonest in your reply can you get. This was clearly an error on your end! Take ownership!

I was referred to Richardson Insurance by my bank during a mortgage loan process. Since we were moving states, we were also going to be in need of new auto insurance. Kelly helped me with quotes for both policies the same day that I requested them. Although the purchase of that home fell through, we did still find that our rates for auto were good, so we started that policy. Next, we started the purchase of a different home, and I asked Kelly first for the new home policy quote. Again, same day service and I had a quote in my inbox to send to our lender within hours. No issues with Richardson, and no complaints.However, my expectations were exceeded as well when I received a text from another insurance company that I requested a QUOTE from before Richardson. They decided to start a policy for us on a home that we never purchased. So I immediately contacted Kelly to ask for advice. She not only pointed me in the right direction, but also conference called the other insurance company with me to make sure it got cancelled and taken care of for us. Then requested that the agent at fault for this mistake was made aware.They will take care of all your insurance needs with ethical advice and assistance. Kelly Hamrick did an excellent job reviewing my insurance coverage for my home, auto, and umbrella. She also informed us about some additional coverages that would benefit us in case of a water main or sewer connection problem. Kelly also asked if we had AAA for our automobiles. We do have AAA. DISAPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED- What started out as something good ended up extremely the opposite. We moved to Idaho almost 13 years ago. Richardsons came recommended by our title company when we purchased our house. They were great for home and car. We purchased all of our insurance through them. We were pretty happy with them- As the years have gone on their service, personnel, and rates have all gone downhill very quickly. In 12 years we a claim on the house with a refrigerator that flooded our kitchen. We filed a claim and did all the leg work in order to get the claim administered. When we sold our house and asked for a quote on the new house- the rates were through the roof! WE chose not to insure with them. WE had added a car over the past 5 years or so and the rates seemed high but since we were insured with them so long we made the mistake of not checking. When our teenager got her license we called and added her. When we got the bill we had STICKER SHOCK! The amount of insurance had more than doubled. We started shopping around and found that their rates were not hundreds more but thousands. No one had ever called or checked rates. We called, emailed, left messages only for no one to ever call back. I had to chase them down and continually call in order to get any attention from them. Even after leaving several messages and telling them their voice mail message says its Thanksgiving and its well past new years- STILL no response. Be wiser than we were- check before doing anything with these folks. They do not have it together rates or service wise!
