Im a repeat customer here simply because I usually receive an excellent nail Care experience. They just updated their salon recently and it looks fantastic. Usually their stations are very clean and the nail technicians are very efficient and generally professional. My only complaint is that on their website they had prices listed and then charged quite a bit more when I went to check out. Not saying it wasnt worth the cost, but the difference in price was enough to raise a few red flags. Hoping their new website has accurate prices listed soon and that they stick to them.

Back in February or 2020 I was looking to get my nails shaped and painted for my wedding day. Normally I do them myself but I wanted it to be something nice to do with my bridesmaids before the wedding rehearsal. We called a couple of weeks ahead and the day of to see if they would take us by apoitment since it was for a wedding. They said no but assured us that it would not be longer then an hour wait.I sat in their waiting area for 3 hours they day of my wedding rehearsal with my bridesmaids and watched them take everyone who walked in after us before all of us. After 3 hours of waiting I decided to leave. When I asked them to take my name off the list of course they were ready to take me then… I left and did my own nails at home for me wedding. After waiting for 4 hours my 4 bridesmaids left as well and did their own nails at home too.They only care about their regular customers and will prioritize them over all the customers in the store. I just wished they were upfront about the wait time and I didn’t waste all my time.

Called ahead to ask how long a wait it would be for a full set. I was told no wait and that they would take me right away. Get there a few minutes later, sign in and sit down. 45 minutes later I am still waiting as they continue to take people ahead of me who came in after me. A woman walked in for a gel mani and right away was taken back while I sat. I finally after almost an hour of watching people who came in after me get taken back get up to leave. As I’m walking out the door they’re yelling “I’m done! I’m done! You’re next!” Yeah no thank you. They obviously lie to get you in there and take the easy money appointments first. This will be my last visit.

I took my niece w me to get our nails done. The older guy who did my nails was GREAT! The lady who did my nieces was HORRIBLE!! Her color was uneven, globs of polish on her fingers.. When I told them it wasnt done right, I was told to calm down.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! HORRIBLE

Waited over 30 minutes for a gel pedicure just for someone to go in front of me. I understand it was the day after a holiday and most employees are on vacation but to skip over me when I was clearly waiting before anyone is unacceptable. They sat me down in water that wasn’t warm then the lady went to someone else. On top of that they don’t communicate with customers very well, only between each other.

There was one man doing acrylics and i waited more than two hours to be seated to get my nails done.

Got my nails done with a dip powder manicure and I LOVE it. I then had an unfortunate accident while bowling and chipped one of my nails and they fixed it at no charge. They were fantastic and super nice people. Will 1000% get my nails done here again in the future!

I sat in their establishment for 40 minutes then I noticed they were taking customers before me that arrived after . The male employee asked if I had an appointment and I said no. I didnt think I needed one and Noone asked me when I signed in. He said it would be another hour. Seriously. Bad business. Learn to inform your potential clients when they walk in . I will never return .

This place is horrible and I wish I could rate it lower. I had the older guy with the glasses. He was completely unprofessional and literally hurt my hands while doing the acrylic. I still can’t believe I paid almost $100 to have sore nails. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Paid $145 for a botched manicure.The man who did my full acrylic set had a turtle neck and glasses on. He didn’t know I spoke Vietnamese and they were insulting me half the time. Then he kept making horrible mistakes and WOULDNT FIX THEM. So unprofessional. Horrible establishment.

Very enjoyable pedi. No liquor at this location only the other. Polish only lasted 2 days. Will try a different salon next time

I LOVE expert nails & Tommy he has been doing my nails for almost 15 years and they’re the best for long lasting good quality nail care!

THEY DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS! You can call and schedule an appointment, but they will take walk ins all the time even right before your scheduled time. They then put your name on the list and you have to wait for everyone ahead of you. We should have learned because this is the second time it has happened.

I called in ahead to see if I needed an appointment and he said yes, I can take you at 6pm tonight or you can come tomorrow and I decided on 6pm that same night. It was as if someone bet him to see how quickly he could paint my nails...the paint looked horrible but I couldnt tell that until I got out to my car and saw it in the sunlight. He didnt bring the top coat down to the tip of my nail so theyre all uneven and of course chipping already after 1 week. If he wouldve slowed down on the painting and actually paid attention then it would have looked fine and I wouldnt be typing a bad review. Or if he had somewhere to be and was in a hurry he could have not offered me an appt time for that same evening. Just do quality work, it isnt that much to ask.

Wonderful! Serene. Quiet. My toes & nails in red & they are 100% perfect. I am not easily won over however this place is superb. Not one chip in my acrylics from a 2 week old fill-in.

I made an appointment and was promptly seated when I got there. Great service and experience

I had A hangnail that was really uncomfortable. Stop in Expert Nails & Spa and informed Tommy what issue I was having. Working with his active customer he stopped at once and fixed my issue, and didnt charge me a fee. This is the type of establishment I definitely want to associate myself around. Again thank you Tommy this is where I will be getting my service from now on...

I had a pedicure about 10 years ago and did not like it at all. The girls I work with get them all the time and love it. I decided to give it another try and was recommended to this Mentor Expert Nails. I went after work and got right in. The lady (I wish I had gotten her name) that did mine was absolutely wonderful. It was great and I will definitely go back again.

Have been coming to expert nails for years as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Im spoiled on expert nails.great group of people.

Love the work they do. First time was great. Second time wasn’t as impressed with the customer service. Tried to go today. No one was even waiting when I got there. They took two people ahead of me and after almost an hour of being blown off I walked out. Would have given 5 stars before this experience. Guess I’ll be searching elsewhere now.

New to the area and Ive been trying different salons. Amazing work! My nail tech was so thorough and attentive to every last detail. I went for a fill and gel manicure. I was a walk-in on a Tuesday afternoon, so I had to wait a bit (about an hour), but well worth it! He was able to correct mistakes that another salon had made.

1. I waited over 2 and 1/2 hours to get my nails done2. A lady that walked in after me got done before me3. Cut my skin and started bleed4.didnt listen to how I wanted them he ignored me5.my fingers hurt6. Nothing was clean he also looked like he had blood on his handsI DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE it was a guy with glasses

I just got back and i asked for long nails thwy cut them too short and i asked for no gel whatsoever and they gave my gel and made me cut at for what i didn’t ask for

Always a great atmosphere and staff is courteous and my nails always look great!! 9/10 times no wait.(all depending on the season)

I did not have to make an appointment and there was no wait. I had a beautiful shellac manicure done and I was in and out within 40 minutes.

The service was very good and the wait for walk-ins was fairly quick. The only problem I had was that my polish started to chip the next day and I didn’t want to go back to get them redone. Within 3 days of getting them done, they had all started to chip while I wasn’t doing anything that would promote them to.

They do a great job but wish they took appointments.

I have been going here for years. This and the Concord location are the only places I will get my nails done. The technicians are awesome, the salon is clean and the prices are fair. I highly recommend!

Love this place they are excellent and can do some nail art but you have to be practical with your expectations! They have done amazing things for me and I have been completely satisfied every time I go.

Initially, I thought this place was going to be great. Clean & friendly. Then I had to wait over an hour after I was told 20 minutes & they took someone who got there well after me because they thought I was still choosing a color (I wasnt). Left moderately happy & then the next day, my gel started peeling on all of my fingers. Didnt have time to ask them to fix it because I was going out of town. Pretty displeased. Still on the hunt for a nail place in the mentor area!

I went to this place about three weeks ago to get acrylics and the lady who did them did an amazing job and I was super pleased. Went back today for a fill and the lady I had today kept nicking my skin with the drill and making it bleed, then when I pulled away she would laugh at me for it hurting. I will not be going back here.

They did an awesome job on a mani/pedi for me before my vacation. Its a very nice salon and the prices are great! They are very thorough and take their time making your nails beautiful!

They do a great job. The only bad thing Ive noticed two different people charge different amounts. Got a fill with gel one time it was $45 went back a second time somebody else did it and it was only 37 thats a big gap

Rating not based on services. Website says open on Sunday but they are not. They might want to update the hours online so people dont drive all the way there only to find out they are closed

The place is a scam. Went there with my daughter for mani/pedi. Had a set of nails put on and a fill for my daughter. We estimated by THE PRICES POSTED ON THE WALL that it would come to around 145.00. When we were done the price was 173.00. They charged us all kinds of extra fees and when i asked where these prices are posted they said they will print out an itemized bill AFTER THE FACT. None of these extra things (like 5.00 for length while getting a fill. Isnt that what a fill is?) Were on the board and stated prior to. The 4% extra charge if you use a credit card. Yeah that was posted right next to the cash register that you only see when checking out. The young girl that was cashing us out was so unprofessional and had the biggest attitude and took every ounce of restraint i had just to keep myself from showing her what happens when you talk to strangers like that. You never know who you are talking to so keep that in mind little girl. The guy who did my nails was very nice even though he put a different color on my fingers than my toes. When he was putting it on i ask him if it was the same color he said yes. They are both dark but one was like a purple and the other a wine color. I should have had that taken off my inflated bill. They charged me more than was on the board for my daughters acrylics but she only told me that after we left. She didnt want me getting madder than i already was. I showed by friend my nails and she said in horror who did that to you? Theyre aweful. Now i have no choice but to get them removed and pay for a whole new set on top of being overcharged. Needless to say i will NEVER go back her again. If you get your nails done here make sure you ask for a detailed list of your charges prior to service or you will feel the same sting.

They are artistic at a reasonable price, the one guy there though, will tell you that they dont do any art in nails just because he doesnt know how to .... So I found out by a friend and also by the one nail lady that they do, other than that its great !

Not very pleased. Got my nails done and the guy filed so hard it cut my finger and once I left my nails started chipping and one cracked. Needless to say I wont be going back for now on Ill stick with my regular nail salon

Friendly staff with attention to detail.
