Get a second opinion, or just dont go at all. Especially if youre a young woman. They tried to charge me almost $400 to fix something that wasnt broken.My car was drivable, but they told me to drop it off for repair. They kept my car for almost a week saying that it would be done a certain day. When I called for an update to see what time I could come and pick it up, they informed me that they hadnt even received the part. So for almost a week my car was sitting at the shop for no reason.When I went up there to pick up my car, to use it over the weekend, they offered a discount as an apology for the inconvenience and miscommunication. When I asked for a receipt / record of the plan for repairs, the numbers didnt add up. Asking a few more questions, the discount that was offered was significantly reduced.I decided to get a second opinion, and it turns out the almost $400 repair that they were saying I needed, turned out to be a $50 fix and was in and out of another shop in less than an hour.

I brought in a shaking steering wheel/alignment problem at 7AM without an appointment. Vehicle was ready to be picked up 3 hours later. Driving it home was awesome—such a difference! Steering seems perfect, a very smooth ride.Only reason I gave four stars is because the office was so busy; not a place where you can get specific details from the mechanic who worked on your vehicle. Also, I paid more than I expected to, but they did throw in a tire rotation for free. I am thankful to be financially able to support good businesses in my community.

Cant complain about the service here. Austin was great explaining everything and actually took the time to do so. He gave me accurate timings and kept me updated while my car was in the shop for oil change and alignment. 10/10 recommend

Firestone has to the WORST car care center. I would ask for an oil change, and it never fails, they come back with a list of everything that needs to fixed. One time I was charged for an air filter,which I did not tell them to replace, because I replaced it 4 days prior to taking my car in. This is the very reason I stopped going and am know a LOYAL RALEIGH TIRE CUSTOMER!!!

If there was a way to pick no stars I would. I had an appointment for 8 am and after 3 1/2 hours I finally find out what is wrong with my car. Then I was going to have to wait to get the parts from the ware house. All I kept getting was excuses, we are shorthanded, no one gets waited on at the time of their appt. This place screwed me over years ago, but I thought Id try them again. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!

I got my service on my 2015 Mirage and it was costly, but not to have wheels now that the world is opening up is a no brainier on my list of priorities. Glad for one I could get it fixed and had the money to have it fixed. It took most of the day but at the end of the day Praise God. I was driving yall. Thank you for the services that was provided.

I tried to stick with a company with a brand name for too long. Basically you take your car to get something simple done you’ll come out with a long list of them saying you got the wrst car in Memphis they worked on my brakes and oil they ended up breaking my brake calipers and instead of paying 700 I end up having too pay 1400 off something they basically did. If you want to save money I suggest finding a reliable mechanic I told them now what if I didn’t have the money too pay for it they told me I was unable too drive it and thus forced me to pay this please stay away

They wouldnt answer the phone no matter how many times I called. In fact they even picked the phone up and hung it up without saying anything. So I stopped by to see if I could get my oil changed and to see how busy they must be that they wont answer the phone....they had a wait for sure but they had a man at the counter that was doing nothing whatsoever. Except, I guess, avoiding phone calls from customers.

Ive been getting all my cars serviced at Firestone for decades. My wifes, daughter and my car. This past Sunday, I set up an early appointment to have an oil change. Dropped my car off at 9:00 (scheduled) rode my bike to the greenline and Shelby Farms. I got the call at 10 a.m. that my car was ready! Love it. I made my way back to Firestone after completing a 18 mile bike ride. Thanks guys as always!

Booked an appointment 7 days in advance for an oil change + tire rotation and to check a leak in one tire. Dropped the vehicle off at 9:30 am and am currently still waiting in the store at 6:17 pm (after closing time). Wouldnt recommend this location to anyone that values their time.

I have been here since 8am watched my car get pulled in about 9:30 them bring the paper work to the desk after 45 minutes I go ask. The lady at the desk responded yes I have it right here. Explained everything. Told her to go ahead after being told 2 hours it would be ready. Thats fine gives me time to get to work at 1pm. Wellllllllll its 12:13 and my car is still sitting in the same spot

The manager was nice but thats the nicest thing I have to say about the experience. The mechanic who workson my vehicle took at least an hour longer than necessary. He was clearly not focused on my vehicle and no care in the world about a sense of urgency. Not only that but he managed to break a valve stem on a tire that wasnt being worked on. Add to that the sensor wasnt programmed to the new stem and my tire pressure sensor light is perpetually on. I do not recommend this location.

Edit: Manager called me to apologize and is working with auditors to address the problem to ensure that it does not happen again.Stay away, they put on my lugs (20 times, 5 per wheel) incorrectly and also did not do an alignment in which I paid $234 to have done. They only refunded the alignment, which hints at not wanting me as a customer, which is fine, but they did not make the situation right. At all.Do not deal with this shop, they rush everything and hope for the best. Lug is out in the picture just for demonstration.

Almost the perfect experience.Called late Saturday, car broke down, able to tow there right before closing and leave overnight.They correctly diagnosed the problem and replaced 3 major parts. They were actually able to turn it around in 24 hours with no available appointments. We picked up the car after hours Sunday night.Minus the 1 star as I wish the markup wasnt so high, but the money ended up being worth it for a correctly fixed car in 24 hours and no time off from work.Thanks Geraldine.

Friendly, respectful, and patient Staff.Knowledgeable about problems beforehand and give accurate pricing before work is done.Not pushy about additional work for the vehicle, but they do let you know if something may be a problem in the future.Sometimes my vehicle may have side - effects after something was done, but it is usually fixed after a quick run back to the store. - Almost always something minuscule like dirt that snuck its way in.Overall, great service.

Once again, Firestone took car of me. My battery was at the end of its life and was replaced. Dylan, my service advisor, was very accessible and worked me in on a Saturday. He was very service oriented, which seems to be the culture at Firestone in my experience. People just want an honest assessment and a reasonable price without any hassles or fast talk. That is what I see and experience each time at Firestone. Cars need upkeep/ maintenance and establishing a relationship based on honesty/accessibility will create loyal customers.

Sunday. First in line.Arrived early at 730 for break job. Took over an hour to just check breaks.Everyone who showed up after me are long gone.12:00 Im still here, truck still in the air.I was sure I was going to make it to church today. When I get back there the place is closed and I had to spend $40 dollars to go home and come back the next morning to get my vehicle. I was late for work and received a point on my record for my attendance. They shouldnt tell you they are going to call when they are not. Such an incovenience. So my oil chance end of costing double 😠.

My wife tries not even a month old and they are all going flat. Still need a wheel alignment. Did yall do anything yall was paid 402$ for. There is no holes or nothing in my wife tires no screws or nails. I paid for new tires and got used ones. Now I have to spend more money else where. Handed my keys over at 10 am for an oil change....its now 4:45 pm and I see my car lifted with all four tires off. Apparently they took it upon themselves to give my car the strip search and waste my time on something I didnt ask for. Still waiting for my car that just needed an oil change.....standard lowlife business practices.Edit: its now 5:20 pm and still havent changed the oil. Definitely do not recommend.

Driving down Poplar around 5:15 pm on a Thursday evening my alert light came on showing low tire pressure; fortunately Firestone at Highland was open. Despite evening traffic they werent overly busy and got to my problem quickly, removed a nail and repaired the tire. The service rep, Brandi was helpful and professional, updated me when car was moved into the service bay and efficiently checked me out shortly after. I was pleased with the faster than expected service. I think the cost might be a little higher than at Gateway but it was worth it for convenience, friendly customer service and efficient repair. I have had less satisfactory visits to other Firestone locations but this was successful and I will go there for other services based on this experience.

My brakes started grinding while I was driving to work, so I stopped by this Firestone to get them checked, an hour before they closed, and I asked if they could check my brakes and they just laughed at me and said yeah if you come back tomorrow. They were very rude about it. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else!

Had me waiting for 3 hours for a simple oil change because they kept putting people ahead of me for reasons they were smart enough not to voice. A week later, my car died and I havent used Firestone since. Dont even want their crappy tires. Go down the street to Gateway for better service and prices.

Incredibly slow. Every time I have gone to this Firestone the worker at the counter promises that I will be out in 1 hour or so. 3 or 4 hours later the workers will bring my car in for maintenance and I will be stuck there waiting. Frankly, it seems faster to drive to Nashville and have my maintenance done at the Firestone there. I gave two stars since this Firestone has maintenced my car free of charge because of how long my wait has been.

Takes way too long for a tire change. They state that part of their serve is to check the brakes and everything around the tires. They told me everything was in good shape. When I tool it in to another place for my oil change because their price was triple the cost I found out I needed new tie rods. They had just told me a week before everything was in great shape!!

Spent 3-1/2 hours waiting on 4 new tires to be installed. Had an appointment. They were even busy. They stripped 2 studs, which I had to pay an extra $65.57 (plus tax) to replace. Then they presented me with a laundry list of items (front wheel bearings, tie rod end(s), rack and pinion, coolant, engine air filter, spark plugs, wiper blades, etc.), totaling almost $1450.00, which had to be replaced. The wiper blades made me suspicious, because I had just replaced them 2 days earlier, on March 26, 2018. I refused to authorize the extra parts/labor and went straight to my mechanic from Firestone. My mechanic said that my car didnt need any of that work. I will never go to Firestone again, and I wouldnt recommend Firestone to my worst enemy.

I made an appointment to have our tire fixed, left work early in order to make the appointment, only to find out that appointments dont guarantee service . My 10am appointment for an oil change was obviously a waste of time, as my car wasnt ready until after 3. I asked the shop when dropping off when I could expect the car to be ready and was told 1:30 due to short staffing. I called at 2 to see if my car was ready and it hadnt been serviced yet. I was assured it was entering a bay as we spoke. I called again around 2:30 and was assured it would be ready by 3. I returned at 3:15 to see my car still jacked up in a service bay. I asked the manager when my car would be ready and I was told I needed an expensive alignment job. The manager meant to call me but hadnt gotten a chance yet. Seemed unfortunate, as I had called twice. I reluctantly approved the repair the bent in tire that he wasnt sure how I managed to do. As I waited an additional 30 minutes for a repair I had been promised would take 15 minutes to complete, I heard him upsell repairs to one customer after another using the same, we arent really sure how you managed to do it bit. I saw my car move to the parking lot and jumped back in line. The manager was friendly but working at a leisurely pace for someone whose shop was running 4 hours behind. When I finally got in my car, no mileage sticker had been applied to my windshield and my maintenance alert had not been reset. Seems like quality control is only prioritized when the shop gets paid for additional and likely unnecessary repairs and your time is not nearly as valuable as those working the front desk.

I had a flat on my rental car and went to Goodyear but was turned away because they were closing in 15 minutes. I found Firestone and even though they were going to close soon, they did not turn me away. Brandi was the Firestone Service Advisor and she assured me that they would take care of me. I live 6 hours away in Arkansas and getting repairs in a different town can be challenging. It was nice to find a repair shop that treated you as if you were a long term customer. They stayed open 1/2 hour after their regular closing time to replace my tire.

Big props to the Firestone on Highland/Poplar. They owned up to a previous mistake regarding a repair -- when they couldve chosen to keep that knowledge from me. Not only did they fix the presenting issue for free, they reimbursed me ($600+) related to the same issue four months prior. Go Firestone! There are good people out there, you guys. Had to wait multiple hours from my alignment appointment to be asked if I wanted to replace a tire that they said had to be changed before they could do the actual alignment. They were polite about it and had it ready in a decent amount of time after that point, but it was pretty ridiculous.

I went there just for a tire rotation and nothing else. I left thinking my car was in good shape. A day in a half later I start smelling oil. The smell was coming to my air vents so I went under my hood and not to my surprise my oil cap was missing. And then I get a notification from my car saying my sensor is messed up but it’s not. Again went under the hood to find out they ripped my intake holes. Honestly they could have just said we found a problem under your hood instead of nothing at all.

Firestone fail to fully honor their lifetime alignment warranty. Nor did Firestone honor their pro-rate offer on my tires. Firestone told me an unheard of statement that my tires were to thin to pro-rate. I left the store with warrenty papers that are of no use at all. FIRESTONE IS BAD NEWS. The warranty is a racket whereas they find excuses not to at all honor the lifetime warranty.

Nothing tried to charge my wife 180$ for a part I had just got put on her car plus labor which was all together $519 went their for a wheel alignment said they couldnt do it cause control arm was messed up but just put on to brand new controls arm in both side all was need to be tightened down will need even look at Firestone the same every again just a place to rip u off, let me know no one even look under the car at all and thats just sorry but still charged 19.99 to tell they couldnt do the alignment RIP OFF!!!!

Wow I dont even know where to start.. first of all I must say that I am a very nice, understanding person and what I am about to say is truthful and I hope anybody that reads this will consider going else where. This place is a total rip off.. the diagnostic is how they hustle you out your money.. even if you know what is wrong with your car THE DIAGNOSTIC test is what they will hold you accountable for REGARDLESS.... even unseen problems that you dot have a clue about.. they have your keys and literally hold your keys hostage.. well they found out I didnt need a tune up at all BUT was willing to give me one for 300 bucks.. its a lot more to this but I am so over Firestone.. this is a sad world we live in .. everyone is trying to hustle you out your hard earned money. . Well after acting out of character meaning yes I was very very angry and said a few choice words I was giving my keys back.. I have everything on tape and in the process of delivering it to someone attention.. ⚠ do NOT accept the diagnostic if you know whats wrong.. they want see you unless you have this test and if you dont get what comes up on the diagnostic fixed BY them (which all kinds of stuff comes up on that test) they can find something that cost 1,000 bucks.. its just a rip off and I am glad it was me that this happen too.. read the other reviews.. this place is a rip off.. oh and if you choose to do business with them take your valuables out the car..

I had a car “fixed” here. I had a new battery put on and a new alternator and the car was still messed up. Went back and they told me that the reader couldn’t do anything because of my car Come to find out they did not even hook the battery up correctly so it fried the electrical system. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING ANYTHING DONE HERE.

This place worked on my very old vehicle, and did a pretty good job. But they also did some work that wasnt in the estimate that I didnt authorize and wouldnt pay for. They were determined to maxout our Firestone card, and when we refused, they put a huge unrepairable hole in a tire, trying to force us to come back. Which is why I was already mad when I showed up at Pepboys, which also sucks.
