Great car rental company I love Hertz company great customer service. The staffs are polite and friendly there prices are really really great

Never again! Beware this is NOT a corporate owned location, and they own their own cars. Which means if you run into trouble during your rental you CANNOT just take it to any location for a swap. They make you take it to a chain car repair shop.I rented from this location today to drive to Tampa for work. The car I was given was practically brand new (less than 1,000 miles). I got down the road a little ways when I noticed that the tire pressure light was on. I called the number on my contract, which was the MLB desk, no one answered. I tried calling 3 to 4 times and it just rings. Finally I opened the Hertz app, and called the emergency roadside number, but the wait times were over 30 minutes. I tried the MLB office again and finally got through. The agent told me not to worry about it and that it was probably fine and to just check it again when I got to Tampa.Seeing that this was all interstate driving at high speed I did not feel comfortable with that response. I decided to pull over and check. The tire was definitely lower than the others, but not flat, so I was able to get to Orlando International Airport for a swap. Much to my shock, they told me that since I rented it from a non corporate location that they couldn’t help me. That I needed to drive 5 miles to the Firestone.After I get to Firestone they were quick to help me and try to work with Hertz to get me fixed up. After a lot of run around, I believe that I was talking to the franchise owner at MLB who basically implied that the issue was my fault and I needed to replace the tire out of pocket at MY expense because it was a ‘new car’ with 1,000 miles. He said that if it had 2,000 or more it might be a different story. Ummm what?! I naturally referred to my company’s corporate contract with Hertz, to which he was completely unfamiliar with and said he would have to research and make phone calls and call me back. He never did so I had Firestone put the spare back on and I took it back to MLB. Thankfully our company is starting with a new company in May. I’d rather walk than rent from them again.

I am very unhappy with Hertz. I have been trying to get a car for 4 days due to service recall on my vehicle. My dealership is paying the cost but this is obviously placing me in a very low priority to receive a car. I have a Hertz loyalty number but this does be no good in this process.They have cars available but those are not cars that I can use. I have to wait for a car to come into the Melbourne FL location at 140 North Harbor Blvd since Hertz will not allow me to receive a car from either Orlando or Melbourne Airport locations.I have been getting the run-around for days. I was transferred to an office near Dallas and when I called them yesterday, they had no knowledge of my confirmation number. Melbourne Florida location was supposed to return a call to me yesterday but the branch manager on North Harbor Blvd never returned my call.

Friendly staff. Easy to grab and go car pick up, just a few short steps away from the desk.

They forgot to check in my rental or corporate didnt check in what they sent and I got a call from a private investigator stating a warrant would be issues for my arrest a month after my check in. How is this legal?

I think they are overpriced for the car’s they provide. But the car clean and service was fast

This is my go-to for a great car and assurance of nationwide support if I’m on a trip and have an issue.

I rent Frequently from this location for work and cannot say enough about the great service and friendly staff. Sherri Melendez is often at the counter during the week and greets me every time with a smile and “how can I help”. Pat is also wonderful to work with. During one occasion I had to switch rental cars and the team made every effort to ensure I got what I wanted and was out the door efficiently. Thanks for all your help Hertz team!

First of customer service at the 3401 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062 it was horrible, the agent at that location said that he didnt had any one way rentals, so he sent me to DFW location. Upon arrival at the DFW site she told me that they also dint had any one way rental. I asked the agent to call the other agent at the 3401 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062 and come to find out he apparently he confused me with someone else. So I had to go back to the site. Now Im out 40 bucks from all the Uber rides. Once I got the vehicle it was dirty inside and out. Horrible customer service.

Best rental experience. The staffs are extremely nice. It was fast getting my car and dropping it off. Its the first ever car Rental place at the airport that actually answers their phone when I call.

Trying to turn in a car, I have been standing here for 20 min listening to these people talking about hurricanes, insurance, lawyers, renting under 25, etc. How long does it take to rent a car? All I want to do is turn mine in. There is nice and polite, but the line of 5 people behind this person just want to be done.

I could not have had a better experience at the Melbourne airport Hertz! I had reserved a minivan weeks ago at another agency and was told last minute they could not give me a minivan. In desperation I tried the airport Hertz and Sherri said they had 2 minivans available and got me a fantastic price. When I arrived, Patrick kindly showed me both vans in the Florida heat so I could judge the size. Both Sherri and Patrick were so patient and accommodating. This is not the first time I have had a great experience at this location. Highly recommended!

I was served very quickly and smoothly both at pickup and drop off times. Rented a compact Toyota with no problem which I dropped off the next day at Orlando Airport. Totally recommend it.

Rentals from MLB location. Easy process. Car ready, no hassle return. Agent was even patient with a nasty person who did not make a reservation and was mad all the high demand cars were reserved. I would have had a hard time being nice to that person, but agent was great.

Easiest car rental experience pretty much anywhere. I also left an item behind in the car and they called me to ship it back immediately. Very nice counter staff.

I got extra charge for gas $160Is it nice?I drove Kia tho.Oh and I need to argue with this crazy charge, and it made me miss flight.And when I rent a this car it wasnt full tank this is 100%sure and actually I talked about it when I rent with Hertz guys.I want to explain this charge at entrance but I forgot the ladys name at front desk but she sounds middle eastern she never listened and I dont have time so I couldnt get correct answer for this $160 charge.Ill wait the correct answer from manager Robin Chris Roberts.

Paid for a rental car with a reservation number, that had my wifes name on it, that was booked thru my business travel agent. Wife went to go pick up the car today, with my 6 year old son and they denied my wife the rental because she didnt have proof she worked for my company. Her name is the one on the reservation and her I.D matches with a current credit card. So disappointed when you cant get someone that knows how to do there job correctly, or at a management level.We will no longer use hertz for my company, and Ill make sure all my clients and business partners, are aware as well.

After a bad experience with Enterprise. I did a lot of looking around for a rental car for a week as I was going out of town. Managed to find something here, and I will tell ya, the car given was amazing! Customer Service I was given was fantastic. Friendly staff, and all. Definitely will be renting from here from now on.

The staff at the airport, especially Pat and Justin made picking up and returning the car most efficient! I was there no more than 15 minutes to pick up the vehicle and less than 10 to return it! Hertz has been and will continue to be my rental choice. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We were late and missed our flight and had just turned in our rental car. Feeling disappointed we went back to the Hertz counter to see if we could rent a car to drive home. Phil got us into a newer model of our previous rental and it took almost no time at all! Great service.

I wish that I could give negative stars!1. My reservation through Delta promised a Nissan Sedan or similar, I got a Yaris, with no remote door lock or working lighter or any way to charge my phone. I was told that if I wanted to actually get the car that I was promised, I would have to pay an extra ten dollars a day. My husband is nearly in the Presidents club through his work and we have rented with Hertz regularly, but NEVER AGAIN!

Sherri was unwilling to remove the sales tax from my rental as state law for CBA federal employees. She insisted I needed an taxID. I expressed I am active duty and there is no such thing. I presented the form to her and after 30 of debating, he agreed to make the adjustment...why not just do it form the beginning.
