We were tenants from ‘17-‘21. We had several issues with our place over that time(no fault of theirs), and every single time north woods was responsive, quick, and taking care of it. One time someone was actually there within an hour of me emailing. Easy “portal” system made it super easy to report issues and pay rent.We were skeptical of property management companies as we were moving into the valley. If it says “Northwoods” save your worries. No surprises. Good honest business - I’d give 6 stars if I could!

Not only do they make the application process go by fast, in the middle of the pandemic, after the devastation of the forest fires, Northwoods will go out of their way to ensure that their tenants are taken care of. When the owners decided to sell, they let us know about 2 weeks in advance before it was to hit the market, allowed us to have the option to transfer into one of their available properties, and also to stand up for us when the Realtors became pushy. They communicate fast, take our request seriously, and respectfully accommodate us when needed. I wish we had a found a rental through them the second time, but the market is so scarce. I would highly recommend Northwoods to anyone who want to be respected as humans and not just seen as a dollar sign. My family and I will be forever grateful for the wonderful year they gave us. Jason was with us every step of the way and listened to my sobbing self when I was going through a panic attack about finding a new place. They care. Its a breath of fresh air to have people who still care about an individual.

As a landlord, Ive found Northwoods to be very fair to both the tenant and landlord. They have both parties in their best interest which is hard to say to many companies who are just looking to make money. Only group to have an application in for a few days get a message saying someone else has signed a lease agreement... but we were not denied just not accepted even though we were in way before anyone else and it was already available, so did they just wait to run ours and ran theirs first? I stayed at 1097 Beatty St APT A in Medford OR for a year. It had a reocurring rat problem that started as soon as I moved in which makes me think it was a known issue. They had the exterminator come out multiple times but when I asked them if they had a plan to fix the problem permanately they never got back to me. Office people seem nice but were ultimately not helpful. Also they seem to charge you $75 dollars for a cleaning fee regardless of how well you clean the place so I wouldnt even bother cleaning anything.

My experience with Northwoods Property was outstanding! The only property management company in this valley that still take pride in their job. They are punctual when showing properties, courteous, and professional. I definitely recommend them hands down!

This is by far the worst company ever. Don’t expect a call back or the girl answering the phone to know where the other girl who stepped out for a moment is. And they never have one single clue the status on any property you ask about. Most people who call on work breaks don’t have time to play this game. What a train wreck for an office staff. I don’t think they have any kind of supervisor working there. And if so, yikes!!

I paid an application fee to rent a house. Someone who applied before me got the house. Northwoods Property Management called me and let me know that they would refund my application fee since they never ran my application. A refreshing difference from other property management companies Ive dealt with.

They helped work with us to move in. Jared is super nice and helpful. The secretaries can be a little rude and short tho. Great company overall.

It appears this company is NOT on the up and up. I feel as though my husband and I were discriminated against as we are Hispanic. We had made an appointment to see a home in a nice neighborhood. Upon driving up the guy told us, sorry...the house was rented 20 minutes ago.It isnt often I come across such a disgusting display of obvious racial bias!Upon continuing our search for a new home, we spot that very same rental...saying it is available. On their site as well as on craigslist.I must say...although I find your moral principles to be needing a good dowsing of Love and compassion, I am grateful for the denial. It was a blessing in disguise. Shame on you Northwoods Property Mismanagement*Update...I must say...the fact that the only communication this company has offered up thus far.... 5:30 PM on Tuesday July 9th 2019, are threats to pursue legal action if I do not remove the facts of what took place...I can clearly see that even if there is not discrimination on your part...which I believe there is... at the very least the (mis)management is abhorrent! Seem nice enough, but they get sharky with refunding lease application fees. Just know that you will have to go in person to get your money back if you go another route when finding a place to lease. This can be a big inconvenience if youre moving from far away.

The Northwoods team is great! Theyve managed my rental house for over 8 years. Weve only had 1 tenant change and they quickly had the house repaired and rented in just over a month (the previous tenant unfortunately left several damaged items and Northwoods negotiated them paying for the majority of the repair cost). Last year, the dishwasher sprang a water supply line leak that unfortunately damaged the kitchen floor. Northwoods worked with my insurance agent and their recommend flooring company and it was done with almost no direct cost to me.It is such a relief that I can depend upon Northwoods for keeping my rental in the top condition that I desire, to find good tenants, and handle any problems that come up. And yes, they always alert me the minute a problem is discovered and they ask me how I wish to handle it. They make me feel that I am in control, even though I live hundreds of miles away.

Jason even went out of his way to bring a cooler full of drinking water for our family when our well went out! Very kind people.

Don’t apply here. They don’t even call you or your references and then deny applications saying lack of references. They’re just taking application fees.

LmaoI remember them being overpriced....For my boyfriend and I this is our first apartment, and Northwoods has been very good for us. Paying rent is super easy to do and if we have any problems with maintenance problems (which there hasnt been many) theyre on top of it to make sure were living happy. I would definitely recommend them to whoever is just getting started on their own, or if you have a big family and need a nice reliable place to live in many different cities of your choosing.

Moved to Medford 2 years ago and had the worst luck on craigslist with finding a home to rent that would take our dog. After living in two homes and having awful landlord experiences, my fiance and I came across Northwoods Property Management from a web search for homes for rent. I can not be happier with the experience we have had so far. Northwoods is always helpful and has made our experience living in Medford much better. :)
