This is the only Planet fitness I have been to. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and that your needs are met. They also work very hard to keep the place spotlessly clean and sanitized. The atmosphere here is great too. Everyone works out at their own pace and the competitive feeling you get at a lot of gyms does not exist here. Membership is very reasonable and for the price I cant think of a better value if you take advantage of it. I would definitely recommend this place.

After driving roughly 30 minutes to this location I was turned away while checking in because my account was “over due by a year and a half” which I thought was strange since my account was still listed as active and I had no outstanding bills with the gym. after driving 30 minutes back home and doing my own research I eventually called the location and spoke with Aaron who was much kinder than the rude and pushy woman at the front desk, it turns out she made a mistake and sent me away for no reason as there was no outstanding balance on my account (she wouldn’t even let me check in as a guest with my friend who I attended the gym with). Super thankful for Aaron being so kind and helpful, it is unfortunate that one bad employee can ruin someone’s experience at your business.

I miss the personal trainers pre covid. They helped me recover from injuries for over a year. The group workouts where motivating and was such a healthy way to socialize while burning the fat, stretching and strengthening your frame. I gained 30 pounds since the closure. Starting all over again.I have been to gyms all my life and this gym is as sterile as a operating room. Maybe overstated! But the manager works really hard and gets her hands dirty to keep it sterile, clean and smelling good. The young staff are all super polite. ITS TIME TO COME OUT OF HIDING AND GET IN SHAPE. The Closing of businesses to avoid the virus and staying home is more dangerous then the virus itself. Great job Erin! 5 super stars.

Just started coming to workout here, and genuinely they make the environment nonintimidating. Its pretty awesome. Everyone is friendly, social distances naturally, and everythings clean! 😊

They allow people to yake masks off and wear the masks below the nose area. Not good during COVID time.

Been going to Planet Fitness since it opened September 2017. And even though it closed down for many months because of the pandemic... I missed it so😔 & I still rate Planet Fitness my #1- Go to First Gym in the Valley. Its got the Best Equipment and cant be the Price. Great Staff.☺️

As my 1st time attending any gym ever I wasnt able to experience everything they had to offer. So I decided to become a member and continue to return to this particular location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They kept the entire place as clean as anyone could expect. I look forward to returning several more times . Id definitely recommend this location

Day two and first time user while away from home in Oregon. Extremely reasonable price for a visit (24 hour timeframe), and conveniently located near the hotel(s).Facilities are excellent and impeccably kept. The members are polite and respectful of covid-19 etiquette.Staff is extremely amicable!

Do not sign up with them for their black card membership. My husband and I have had a membership for a month and a half. They have charged us a monthly fee and annual fee in a matter of 2 weeks. When we signed up it showed that an annual fee would be taken out a year after signing not 1 1/2 months into our membership. We tried to explain this too the manager and she said it says it in bold but if you say you didnt see it okay. The manager was very short and rude about it . They then proceeded to tell us in order to cancel our membership it was an additional 58$ charge for both accounts. How do you expect me to pay the 58 dollar fees when you guys put me in the negative. Do not bother emailing them they send everyone the same thing

The gym was good, Im really glad that they are open the gym is clean and I have no complaints. customer service is excellent and they are really good about leaving people alone during their workouts.

It was a great gym before covid. Our state is allowing the gym to be open but we cant use the showers? I fail to see the logic! Wearing a mask while working out is really hard for some of us!When the showers reopen I will try again to return. Until then I have paused my membership again

This place is largely kept clean and has adequate staffing. My only complaint is that for the three months I went to this location there were several drip buckets to collect numerous leaks coming from the overhead plumbing. Also, for at least a month the drinking fountains and bottle refill station was out of order. Though they did provide a refillable water container with disposable cups.

I have come to really enjoy this gym. Great staff, very clean. The price is excellent. Equipment is awesome, I have gained the most strength working out in this gym. Thanks for being here.

Update: After cancelling my membership early on... I came back a week later and have happily been a member for months. As it turns out, the limiting factor in my fitness level isnt having a squat rack; its actually going to the gym, and this place is conducive to making me want to go.Pros: Its super cheap, and the tanning beds are level 3s (stand-up and lay down options). Those alone are worth the cost of a membership for anyone who goes twice a month... especially if you bring a guest (which you can for free, with the black card). The equipment is fairly new, the gym is cleaner than most, and the staff is all very helpful and friendly.Cons: No squat racks, bench presses, preacher curl station, etc., and a bunch of cheesy stuff written on the walls like you belong and judgement free zone that make it hard to take the place seriously. They have a ton of TVs, but every single one faces the cardio section (which is the majority of the gym), so theres no way to keep up on football games while getting a Sunday lift in.

I love planet fitness! True to their slogan they are judgment free! Not only is it a place to work out and feel safe emotionally they also enforce COVID safe precautions to make sure members stay healthy. Gotta love the hydromassage beds too😂

I went to the tanning booth 3x in last 2 weeks and bulbs have been burned out. Tge last time i asked the lady at desk if they been replaced b4 i went again. And she argued with me that none were blown. So i went. It was the same bulbs blown! I guess Im gunna just have to use the tanning bed!

I drive tractor trailer all 48 states. This location is wonderful. Parking along side of building. Room for a couple of trucks. Restaurant and walmart is in walking distance. Right off freeway too! Thanks planet fitness for a great experience!

Simple but high quality place to work out. Its not as good as a fitness club(with a pool, courts, daycare, etc) but its a lot cheaper than membership at a big facility like that.

Hidden fees that were not disclosed at the time of sign up causing my account to go over negative 100 dollars and then when I went to cancel my membership the lady named sophia was very rude and short with me about it saying I just wasnt paying attention and wanted to charge us an additional 58 per account to cancel my membership saying we signed a contract that in reality we never signed.

I love working out here! It’s a great atmosphere! The staff is nice, and informative. The place is clean and the equipment is in good working condition. I work night shift so when I’m off I like that I can go in the middle of the night Mon-Friday. I do wish that they were open 24hours on the weekends though.

Love this place. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. I really like the perks of having the black card membership. Tanning, hydro beds, massage chairs and more. Locker rooms are very spacious. Lots of mirrors and counters. Showers. Check it out! Cant go wrong, the cost of a membership per month is like buying 2 fancy coffees!

Still charging full price and theyre not offering full services. I dont understand why big businesses keep cutting corners and calling it a covid issue when it has nothing to do with it. Never mind. Youre all into taking advantage of people. 👎

So my boyfriend and I got black cards here because they were open late. Now they close so early most nights we cant go. Super disappointed cause thats technically a breach of contract 😒So i am changing my 3 star rating to 1 if I could give this location 0 stars i would. The the night crew is absolutely horrible the atmosphere since quarentine is atrocious. In the last two weeks both my boyfriend and I were harrased by members and the crew did nothing yet they are happy to tell people actjally working out that they need to stop. Then to top it off they refused to let my boyfriend sign for his younger brother who has been living with us (mind you hes 17) when they let him workout prior. Please stay away yes i understand they are cheap but they are cheap for a reason i suggest spending your money somewhere that they actually care about their members.

I really enjoy this gym very much. There is always equipment available when I am there. The only problem I have had was today. I was scheduled for a water massage table and the person in front of me wouldnt end their session so I ended up having to leave without getting my appointment. I was a bit disappointed that the staff didnt ask the other member to end their session and return so that those is us that were waiting could take our turns. I even mentioned that it was past my time to the staff member and they said they were still waiting for a chair a tag to come back.

Great place for people who are just starting out, getting back into the gym or arnt looking for anything too crazy. They have so much to offer for the price. Totally worth the black card membership. The machines are always clean and seem to always be working or quickly fixed. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The facilities are super clean and up to date.

I enjoy going to Planet Fitness. A great staff, warm and encouraging. The place is clean and inviting. You work at your own pace and there is a trainer and classes you attend. I would recommend it while-heartedly.

Dont waste your time and money, the gym has very poor equipmemt, people is standing around with their phones and there s barely 10 machines, impossible to have a workout, plus there are many hidden fees you ll be charged every month a bigger amount without reason . Scam

This is a amazing gym with a plethora of equipment for the beginner or an advanced routine. The atmosphere is a no judgement ego free place where families can come for health and well being. The staff is upbeat and always keeping the place clean and very well organized and kept. I would suggest the black card membership as it includes various hydra massages as well as tanning and the total body enhancement. This would be pricey elsewhere and is worth the 21 a month alone. Overall great place guys I enjoy working out there.

Great gym if you dont have kids. Cheap at 10 bucks per month, but you get what.you pay for. There is gym equipment and plenty of it. All the equipment can handle bigger people. I am 6 3 and a big guy. I have never worried that I would break anything. The colors are purple and.yellow, so understand that it is an assault on your eyeballs. You get used to it though. There is no child watch and limited extras compared to other gyms. There is no pool, sauna, or hot tub. On the other hand, you are really not paying for it either. Staff is friendly and they take their no exercise intimidation policy seriously.

The location is a bit sketchy as I have been approached by transients several times getting to or from my car.Be warned on Monday and Tuesday (sometimes Wednesday as well) the gym can become quite crowded. The staff still does a pretty good job keeping the locker rooms and floors cleaned even with such large crowds. I recommend going either early in the mornings, or waiting to workout towards the end of the week / weekends to avoid crowds.

Some of the staff is really nice and helpful others are mad at the world... bathrooms are dirty... usually really crowded

Good gym for people that just want a good workout. Not the best place for true weight lifting. Not a large selection of free weights, no bench presses or squat racks. Still a great place for someone just keeping a good amount of exercise in their life.

I love this place! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You cant beat the price with the amenities included with the black card. You can get unlimited tanning, hydro massages, personal trainiing, classes, and total body enhancement, all for $20 a month! No joining fee with the black card, and a $5 for the basic membership. I love my new gym!

I love this gyms affordability, large scale, and working out with friends. The issues with the gym are based on those trying to work out with free weights. Ex: No free standing bench presses or stations for deadlifts, cleans, or bench press with a bar that moves freely.

Its a gym. It has lots of cardio equipment along with free weights and strength training machines. There are scheduled classes and a 30 minute circuit room. For Black Card members they have hydro massage, chair massage, tanning and total body enhancement machines. Its a great deal. Just look passed the pizza and bagels if you dont like those things.

Beautiful new facility with an almost endless stock of treadmills and other workout equipment. Staff is super helpful and friendly, offering different custom workout programs. Locker rooms are always clean, smell good, and not uncomfortable to be in. Also, cooler than some other gyms so that you dont sweat a complete lake while running.

Out of town and was willing to purchase a guest pass. They said I could but was not welcome to take the group classes? Why would i be denied that if there is space? Then the cheesy guy told me if I bought a membership for a month then cancelled it, I could take a class. No thanks. I went to Superior Gym and they were more than happy to sell me a guest pass and also let me join a group class.

Clean gym, new up to date equipment. Friendly helpful staff. I enjoy the hydro massage after my workouts. You cant beat the price either.

I just started going to the gym and I love this place. Its clean, welcoming and the over all workout options are amazing. I have lost 13 pounds since coming here early this week. Im going to keep coming back to better myself.

Its a very clean facility with friendly staff. They were missing some basic machines and free weights, including a decent deadlift station. But overall, it was a fine place for a decent workout.

I moved to Medford in November and have been a regular at this location since then - I highly recommend because the staff are super friendly and they have a lot to offer with the black card membership. Its a very inviting and relaxed environment, making it easy to be comfortable working out.

Very average gym. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just nothing spectacular. The front desk staff is usually friendly and professional, so that’s a plus. Overall, the selection of equipment doesn’t seem to match the amount of clients they serve. Sometimes it’s extremely hard to get even a treadmill because they’re so busy. It’s really hit or miss.

I love this place, I really is a judgement free zone. Even tho Im not in the best shape I feel very comfortable at planet fitness

This gym is okay if you like not getting great customer service or any help. They offer unlimited showers and use of gym equipment and discounts to their drinks for $10 a month. But eh ok.

Ive been out of town for months dealing with a death in the family and have tried to cancel this membership. I have called and called and they have repeatedly over drawn my bank and given me 2 nsf charges a month. This places cares more about thir money and less about people in general....

Im a frequent client at both the Grants Pass and Medford locations. Both are impeccably clean and staffed withFriendly and helpful people. They work hard to make PF unintimidating, and it shows. They work to make everyone welcome. And they dont smell like a gym, either. Re ommended.

The only thing that would make this place better is if there was a second location on the other side of Medford! Would be nice if they could put shelves in the mens bathroom above the mens urinals and in the stalls for shaker cups etc. Nobody wants to put their drink on the floor in a bathroom!

Really like the cleanliness, customer service and the price. They do not have a pool or basketball court. Not Superior fitness. I can overlook the few shortcomings for only $10 a month.

Good size gym but the parking lot is frustrating as hell and their employees have no idea what they are doing. It takes forever to get checked in because all their employees are standing around avoiding eye contact. They have no designated check in order so everyone gets all bunched up by the door. They give tours at all hours, which just gets in the way of the people who actually paid to work out. Lastly they have absolutely no employees on the gym floor to show you how to properly use the equipment. Over all bad gym, save your $10, youll thank me later.

The gym is always clean, theres always someone wiping down empty machines, and there is plenty of equipment. Many tvs in front of the treadmills and bikes for viewing. They play decent music in case you dont have your own. Its worth 20 bucks for the massage beds/chairs, tanning and the trainer option, also worth 10 bucks without it.However, I received A call from A manager stating that I wasnt receiving my discount and to come in and speak with A manger and show them my badge to fix it. Came in and spoke to Iris, I showed her my badge and told her thats all I had to do last time (when signing up) she sighed, rolled her eyes at me stating she cant do anything because she needs to see my paystub as well. All other employees have been nice, and this was not my first unwelcoming interaction with her either. Dissapointed in her customer service. Ive worked in customer service for awhile, and that is not how you handle situations.After the interaction Jesse, who was present during the interaction, was passing by and let me know that upon review of my account I was getting the discount. I appreciate his consideration.

The gym is usually great. Clean. I like the tanning beds. However, there is a member of the staff who is so downright rude and disrespectful for no reason. I went in smiling and left so angry I could’ve screamed. All the other associates have been so great but this lady thinks it’s okay to treat members like they are stupid. I had never been to this location before (usually go to GP) and I hadn’t used the computer system for signing up for tanning. She rolled her eyes at me and talked down to me as if I were a child. She also berated me for not being a member of this location, giving me warnings about how I can only use this location a few times if it’s not my home gym... the info she gave me was fine but the way she delivered it ruined my day. Have some respect and please be kind.
