Very disappointed. Had tires mounted and alignments on two vehicles. The first vehicle was fine other than the alignment wasnt right. The vehicle steered left and drifted right, he says it was probably the tires. I figured to let it go until I got the first tire rotation and see if it changed. I had purchased the tires myself to have them mounted. I brought in a second vehicle, which was our more expensive vehicle, when I told him that we purchased the tires also for this, he rolled his eyes about it. Which I thought was kind of odd. After the work was finished, we left, things seem fine. After a few days, we checked the tire pressure and noticed deep scratches on 4 rims. I took it back to him and showed him. He then told me that they were already there, he stated that his tire mounting equipment has rubber tips. I asked him if any other equipment can cause this and he said no. I did my research and found that tire mounting equipment doesnt have rubber tips on them. This damage was not caused by anyone else who previously mounted the previous tires because that was two years ago. We regularly check the tire pressure and hand wash our vehicles and have not seen anything prior to this. So I feel that I was being deceived by neglect or intentionally done. These rims are very expensive and cannot be fixed but replaced. This would cost me $1400 to rectify if I didnt want to put up with the appearance. I also got a realignment done at another shop and got a excellent alignment. I guess from now on, I will have to take close photos of my vehicles before going to a repair shop. From now on, I will only go to shops that I know and trust. This was a very costly mistake.Its been about three weeks now. I had some other work done by another shop. I had them re-balance my tires again and they were off from daves. the shop said they were out of balance. I talked with two people who know who Dave is personally and said sounds about right what dave would do. One said had they had known I was taking my vehicle to him, they would have said don,t do it. He seemed to have not liked I purchased my tires somewhere else. After what I have learned, this damage was probably on purpose. The new rims, plus mounting ans balancing for my other vehicle cost me $1,500.00. If he didnt want to do the jobs he could have just said so. the total cost of just having tires mounted from him,re-doing them,and replacing the damage cost me abount $1,800.00 of my hard earned money. I wish I had the photos to take this to court. I know what he did, he knows what he did, and Ill leave it up to God to deal with him.
