I LOVE this gym. Great location and great price. I love that it’s 24 hours and has everything I need and more. It’s small, but not too small and the people who go here are amazing. I’ve made wonderful friends.The management is shockingly horrible. One of them cursed under his breath at my 17 year old brother over the phone. I’ve overheard the same man having a very loud, inappropriate, controversial and unprofessional conversation with another gym goer who was also his close friend.I stay away from the staff here and enjoy my workout without interacting with them to the best of my ability. After reading the reviews, I will make sure to get a new credit card when canceling my membership and cancel my current cards so they can not continue to charge me.
Too bad they make it impossible to cancel. The cancellation policy that was explained to me when I joined was not what happened when I tried to cancel in reality. The people and staff at this gym are friendly, I have heard great things about the personal trainers. Equipment is rarely put away and often in incomplete sets. You can definitely make do with the equipment but I would not recommend it for students home for the summer regardless of how accommodating the salesman claim to be.
Facility is nice but the “manager” is rude. I had talked to someone else who signed me up. I came in to pay but he was saying things completely different then what I was told. I said can you get that person here who signed me up and he said no need I’m the manager. I find out later Kenni is not even a manager. Poor communication. Keep your chain and watch shiny bro it’s a gym not a club.
They have everything you need! The steam room and sauna is perfect after my work out! They have a large turf area much large than my last gym. And they allowed me to temporarily suspend my account over the pandemic and didnt charge me a dime. Communication was great! & Plenty of classes. This place takes really takes the cake! Great gym

I have a friend who has tried multiple times to cancel his membership with this gym. They never answer the phone and when he tried going in they convinced him to pause his account. Now they want to charge him for the next year maintenance fee when he hasnt been to their gym in over a year. They are being unreasonable. Dont join this gym because once they get their hooks into you they will not let you go until you have been overcharged and underserved. The manager was rude and disrespectful to my friend! There are many good gyms out there, check out any of the other ones and avoid this one.
They keeping stealing my money. I have never went to that gym except to start the monthly and to cancel everything and get a refund. I’m beyond mad! Worst place ever
The gym was nice but the Manager is the rudest person Ive ever spoken with. Our contract was expired and we live far away and he calls us on his personal cellphone hounding us for money. His secretary called and when we told her what happened, she said he shouldnt be doing that and it would be taken care of. Hes called me 3 times in the last 6 months threatening If I dont get $200 right now it will go on your credit report! Its a scam and I dont like him calling my wife threatening her.

They have everything you need ❤ And the group fitness classes come with the monthly fee 🤗even if you dont do a contract. They hold several classes throughout the day so their too many people in one class. Absolutely love this location

I trained at this gym for over two years and it had everything I needed for bodybuilding and powerlifting. No one had a problem with my chalk either. When I needed to cancel my membership I had no issues and was never charged again. I’m thinking about rejoining this gym. I also noticed that all the trainers stayed there the whole time I was there so that’s a good sign. This gym was fairly diverse and how a generous amount of equipment and space in my eyes.
Be very careful. Possible fraudulent practices when you want to cancel. Had to get the bank and our family lawyer involved and send them a copy of the contract which shows no renewal and no maintenance fee.

DO NOT join this gym, i have cancelled my gym membership over 4 times already since December of last year, they have been threatening me by sending collections on me if i do not pay what is due. I am a college student and they dont even seem to care. I have also found out that they had forged my signature on a paper saying i froze my membership not cancelled. be careful and check all paperwork. they do not respect you, they do not care about you, as long as they get their money.

Their mistake ended up costing me more than $150 and the manager (Kenni) didnt care.After talking to the front desk explaining I would like to cancel my membership due to an unexpected move they said they understood and would take care of it. After MONTHS of harassment I was informed they were sending me to collections for months worth of membership during which I NEVER WENT because I was LIVING IN A DIFFERENT STATE.When my wife contacted them explaining the situation the manager said, I dont care what my staff told you, Im sending it to collections today at 5:00. They said it was because I didnt fill out a cancellation form. However I DID fill one out. And it was the one the staff gave me. But apparently they gave me the wrong one so THEIR mistake ended up costing me $170. The manager was rude and unapologetic, upset my wife and only cared about getting paid. They got their $170 but I hope to cost them more than that in business.

We are in the middle of a global pandemic and they have yet to refill the hand sanitizer dispensers in the gym. They have no problem charging 20 dollars for a replacement card but cannot spend the money to refill the hand sanitizer dispensers. Ive been coming here for years and am very disappointed.

I tried to research the price of a monthly membership and it wasn’t on the website so i called. The guy said I had to come in before he would even tell me! I don’t like it when they can’t even answer one question about something so easy. It made me feel like I was being pressured which left a bad taste.
I am shocked to see the average review is above 3. My experience with this gym has been poor from the start. My husband and I originally signed up for personal training sessions but because they routinely could not get the sessions scheduled, we canceled that. It took months for them to reimburse us and stop payments of what hadnt already been paid. Today, I called to cancel our membership and the manager said we had to come into the gym in order to do this. He asked why we were canceling and I explained primarily the covid situation. He suggested we freeze our membership so we dont get charged so I asked would they be refunding me for the last 2 months where we didnt go due to covid and his response was they had only been closed 1 and 1/2 weeks. He said they sent emails about this but we have never received an email noting this. Also, their FB page was never clear on when they closed but they started advertising workouts from home / virtual classes on March 30 and did not post they had reopened until May 2. So, this doesnt add up to his one and a half weeks of being closed. Absolutely ridiculous that we have to go in. And, do you know why we have to go in? The example he gave to support this business process: what if a girlfriend calls in to cancel her boyfriends membership and he didnt really want it canceled. There should be another way in which to handle this especially now that every business had made some type of adjustment to how they do business due to covid. I sent an email after this call and never heard a response from the company. We have now had to take time out of our day to go into the gym to cancel our membership and the guy says we will still be charged our monthly membership fee in June because we have to give a 30 day notice. He knows exactly why we are canceling, that we have not been in since March and have no intention of coming in now thru June 11 yet he chose not to waive this final fee.
Just Fitness changed my life. About 10 years ago I walked in pushing 240 pounds and out of shape. With the help of the trainers and small incremental diet changes I lost over 50 pounds. Just Fitness taught me how to live a healthy lifestyle. Thank you Q and Phillip!
I love this gym! The staff Wilson, Aaron, Doug, Phillip, and Diane are always very friendly and welcoming, greeting me every time I walk in the front door. Ive had hip and knee issues, and Personal Trainer Devin Johnson and rejuvenated my ailments and I finally feel healthy and like myself again. I would definitely come check this gym in East Cobb/ Marietta!
Love this gym. I used to be a member at LaFit and I never felt like I could really improve there. However a few of my friends got me to start going to just fitness and I’m so thankful for that. The trainers are outstanding and really helped me motivate myself. I appreciate them very much. Thank you for your help.
Went in person to cancel membership in September 2018.Was charged past the cancel date while my account sat in “pending manager approval”.Tried calling once again to cancel in 2019 upon discovering I was still being charged. Was told it would be brought to the managers attention.It’s now February 2020 and I just had to pay a resolvement fee to them to settle my account because I filed to stop payments from my bank to them when I discovered they were still charging me in 2019.I was not under a contract. I signed up for my membership in 2013 and used to love this gym.Horrible experience due to unscrupulous business practices.Manager today (whom I had never dealt with before today) was helpful and contacted me before my account went into collections to try to resolve it. Only positive experience with them.
I’ve been a member for years. I’m very impressed with how well the gym is kept up. My trainer, Michael, challenges me appropriately. All of the staff are friendly. It’s a nice mixture of all ages and levels of fitness.

Its clean, equipment is in great condition, the atmosphere is energetic, close by my house and their rates are better than big competitors. Update, June 2020. I thought my membership was canceled in March. I was told my membership was canceled. But a couple days ago someone left a VERY nasty voicemail about dues not paid.It turns out whoever I spoke with marked my membership, Pending cancelation (not cancelled), and I was apparently accruing late fees and dues throughout the COVID scare. I drove to the gym and, rather than continue to fight with these people, just paid whatever they said I owed, and was told (by Michael at front desk) the membership was canceled. I turned to leave and he said I would get billed YET AGAIN in a month.Rather than fight, I just paid another month (dues $15 more than my contract rate; $35 rather than $20, but I just want out).Michael said he, cant print confirmation that [my] membership is canceled and paid in full, so I asked him to write it out - dont trust this gym at all. He wouldnt write his last name on the reciept.I emailed the owner to confirm the membership is canceled for formal confirmation.Well see what happens. If I get another call or email about any money owed, I may just lose my mind. This place is BAD NEWS - avoid at all costs!--------------------------------------I wanted to update and flesh out my review.First, a word of caution: as many others have noted, this gym definitely has an issue with cancelling memberships in a timely fashion, and transparency about the process.I dont know if the reason is poor organization, or dishonesty. Last month, a manager told me the gym would stop billing when my contract ends - that I would have to make arrangements to continue my membership. I called today to confirm the membership was concluded, and learned its active and they intend to bill me again. So much for transparency. Also, since I moved away from the area months ago, I apparently need to beg them via email and phone to end the membership and cease their billing. Fun.On the positive side, the facilities are clean and modern, with a good variety of equipment and classes. I get the impression management isnt very focused on the customer experience.I used the gym at least three times a week prior to moving, and would recommend it to others, except for the sketchy contract/billing issues.
I am so happy that I still went to look at this gym after reading some of these reviews. I absolutely was shocked at what all this gym has to offer for the money. The employees were so nice and very helpful. If you are looking for a really nice gym with a lot of equipment than this is the gym.

Please be careful with this Gym. My daughter cancelled her membership and they continued charging the credit card for 10 months! Phillips Edwards, General Manager, was very rude and didnt admit that the membership was cancelled as per agreement. After we disputed their charges with the credit card company, he fought the dispute and took the account to their collection department to add it to my credit report. He wont care about damaging your credit report, and dont admit their front desk personal dont process the cancellations, and dont provide proof of cancellation to their customers! Please be aware and dont join this Gym.

Do not join this gym unless you plan on paying the monthly membership fees for the rest of your life.I am a college student that returned home and needed a gym membership for the summer. Before I signed up for a membership, I called the manager and made sure that I would be able to cancel the membership after three months because I would no longer be in the area and he said yes that would not be a problem.Once the summer was over, I emailed Just Fitness to cancel my membership...no response. A week later I called and said I needed to cancel my membership. The lady working the front desk said she could do that for me so I provided my name and billing address and she said my membership is cancelled. I even asked to make sure I did not need to sign any documents or send any emails to cancel my membership and she said no she would take care of it. In hindsight this was my biggest mistake in trusting this front desk lady who clearly did not know what she was doing.Anyways, three months go by and I notice that I am still getting charged automatically by Just Fitness. So this time I actually go back to the gym to speak with a manager. Of course, the manager was not available to speak to. No problem, Ill just come back the next day. I go back the next day... manager still not available. At this point, my break from college is ending so I have to wait another week to drive all the way back home to meet with this manager. Next week comes, and I finally get to talk to the manager. The manager, Kenni, tells me that I have to pay $75 to cancel my membership because I did not tell them a month in advance..... At this point I am livid, I show him my call history with the front desk lady and he says sorry the front desk isnt authorized to cancel memberships. After arguing for about an hour with no progress, I am so fed up with the situation that I say okay whatever Ill pay the $75 just cancel my membership. This time I sign documents online to which Kenni claims say cancel my membership.Another two months go by....AND I AM STIll GETTING CHARGED BY JUST FITNESS. This time I go back and speak with Kenni again for about an hour telling him that hes basically placing fraudulent charges on my account. This guy has the audacity to say...my membership isnt cancelled because I did not fill out a cancellation form!?!? To make it even worse, hes claiming to never even have even seen me because he would have given me the cancellation form immediately. I even asked him what the $75 was for and again he says he would not have charged me that, ABC (the billing company for the gym) would have placed that charge. This is absolute BS because I sat in front of him and swiped my card for this transaction to cancel my membership. I even called ABC and they said that they did not authorize the transaction because the billing line did not have ABC in the address. This whole time Kenni is claiming to never have seen me before so he says okay Ill cancel your membership, you just have to pay one more month because again You did not notify the gym a month in advance. This is so ridiculous at this point but there is literally nothing I can do, so I pay the extra month and finally its been two months and I have not been charged. At the end Kenni had the audacity to act like he helped to resolve the situation in reality he was just squeezing money out of me.Luckily I was able to report the $75 as an unauthorized charge with my CC company and got the money back because Kenni wouldnt own up to charging me and ABC said that the transaction was not from their end. I was not able to get back any of the extra months that I was charged but at this point Ive learned my lesson: get every thing in writing and do not allow these sleazy gym owners to auto charge your account.The gym itself is pretty average as well. While it is a large space, the machines are old and outdated, the weight floor is tiny and overcrowded, there are only two squat racks that are almost always being used. Again just avoid all of this, choose another gym.
Im the GM at Just Fitness 4U. I would like to take a minute to rebuttal against to two reviews that Just Fitness 4U charged long after the member cancelled their membership. I have looked at both accounts several times with the members in my presence. We have a very simple cancellation policy that requires the member to come into the gym to cancel in person. The member personally signs for the cancellation and is given a copy of the request to cancel. Neither member below had a copy of their cancellation request and neither did the gym. Both of the members stated that they cancelled over the phone which is against company policy for this very reason. If they did speak to someone on the phone they were instructed that they must come to the gym to do so in person. I understand that the might be an inconvenience but we do this for this very reason to protect the gym and the member. Members do this all the time due to them moving away then they realize they forgot to cancel their membership. We have never sent anyone to collections or added anything to anyones credit report. We are a small local business and would never do that to anyone in the community that we do business with. Its a shame how people leave these ridiculous reviews to try to hurt a small business when it was their mistake all along. Please come into Just Fitness and meet my staff. We would love for you to see for yourself. We have been doing business in East Cobb since 2008. Granted we cant make everyone happy be we work really hard to try and do so.

I will give them zero if I could. Be very careful after cancelling the account. They kept charging me almost for a year. Part of it is my fault that I did not check my credit card which I dont use often. But they are extremely irresponsible. Now they claim that they never had any cancellation on file.

Be careful with this club. The person who signed my daughter up told her she could cancel when she went off the college. but the fine print does not allow this. Stuck paying for a year we cant use.

I joined this gym when it opened and have been satisfied until recently. Apparently the extra money I pay in December is not being used to replace the exerciser bikes on the left of the front door but for other equipment for the younger generation. Until recently there were 4 working bikes with occasional problems which were easily remedied. All 4 tvs stopped working and were not repaired. I was told by the lady at the front desk that new tvs were on order three weeks ago. However the manager advised me 2 weeks ago that one working bike was brought over from the Sandy Springs facility and unfortunately it was set up on the Metric system, which he could not change. Now there are only three bikes with various problems that have not been corrected. One is set on the Metric system. The one next to it has a non working t v. The last one is a tall one that is not suitable for this old gal to ride. I called for the Corporate office number and was told this is it. When I joined, the corporate office was in Utah and I was under the impression it was a privately owned company. Now Im told it is owned locally but I cannot speak with the owner. Something is not right here and I expect to get what Im paying for and not be given incorrect information.

I started going to Just Fitness (Roswell Rd.) in 2010, and I referred 2 other of my close friends there, all signing yearly leases. Folks, everyone including myself had MANY issues in dealing with customer service and it was a process to cancel the membership. They have MANY random charges (upwards of $150) for gym maintenance, increasing membership fees which you have no control over, all of which you have no notification of. I advise everyone to stay clear and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I cancelled my membership and I have an email saying the account was cancelled immediately and they are still charging my account. I have emailed them and no one responds to my email honestly wish I never had gotten a membership here.

Great value for your money. Everyone has been helpful and accomodating! I had not been in a gym in roughly (20) years when I joined last December. The trainers and staff have helped me beyond all my expectations. The new cardio rooms are great, the spin classes, the easy access to personal trainers...too much to say - I am very happy to be a member of this gym! I am in better shape now than I have been in years, and having fun!
Tried to cancel my membership over a year ago. They are still billing me. I called them to try and resolve the issue but they told me to call some other company. COMPLETELY washed their hands of the issue. Total scumbags. Absolutely the WORST gym experience Ive ever had. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS.
The gym has ample equipment which seemed to be well maintained. The gym is clean and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that there was some confusion about the membership offerings. I have seen other complaints posted regarding this issue. The gym can avoid these problems in the future by having their offerings explained well in writing.

I love the gym! I think its beautiful. They have a lot of equipment and amenities. And they keep everything clean and working! The people I have met there have all been friendly and the staff has been great. They are always quick to help me when asked. You really cant beat it for the price. Even with the yearly $48 maintenance fee, the pricing was lower than anything else I looked at for what was included.Wow is all I can say to Silver Dogs review. I guess everyone has their own description of a muscle bound freak but the skinheads and neo nazi comment is so ridiculous its funny. Zumba on monday and Wednesday are amazing. These ladies make sure you work up a great sweat and have fun. Beastmode LJ is amazing. Great trainer and motivator. He is the only reason i am in class every Tuesday and Thursday at 7am.
I wish I could give negative stars. Its like walking into a feeding frenzy of door to door salesmen. Theyre constantly trying to get you to buy something or have your friends sign up, on the way IN and OUT of the gym. I dont want to be harassed every time I go to work out. They locked me into a 2 year deal, and their cancellation fee is the rest of your contracts monthly payment in a lump sum. You can transfer your membership to someone else, but I refuse to subject someone else to this disgusting excuse for customer care. All in all, just go somewhere else, ANYWHERE ELSE!

On my quest to find a permanent gym home I gave Just Fitness 4U a try. This particular gym had all of the amenities that I was looking for: group classes, cardio cinema, and new(er) equipment, and most importantly 24 hours. I like that fact that it is small and not intimidating. Some of the other gym chains intimidated me a little, but Im sure that has more to do with my insecurities than the actual gym. The price is great too at only $19 per month with a two year contract. The contract isnt my favorite thing in the world, but if it doesnt work out at least you are only committed to $19 a month instead of $29 or more. All of staff are friendly and happy to help if you need it.

This place is a scam be very weary about signing a contract with them. Have not been a member since October of last year and out of nowhere the gym charged my debit card for 177 in charges. After getting the run around for well over a week the manager who come to find out is part owner is refusing to refund my money for services that were never rendered. Customer service has been an absolute disgrace. Be careful dealing with them.
What a nightmare.There is an employee named Tiny at this gym who has continually harassed me and others around the gym on a recurring basis. Our most recent run in began when I was told (not asked) to keep quiet.. IN A GYM. Apparently the weights touching the floor (WHILE DEADLIFTING) was disturbing his workout. Anyone who lifts know this can be a loud exercise. I a terminating my membership because I was THREATENED by this employee. The manager, Phillip Edwards, did not even both to hear both sides before cancelling my membership - did not even care to hear why I wanted to cancel it, did not even take a moment to hear about how blatantly offensive his employees act around paying customers. My workout partner cancelled as well.

LET ME BE CLEAR YALL. I am not exaggerating or making any of this up. I am just a regular person sharing my experience. I came down to Marietta from macon in November 2013. I was here to do a 1 month can class then look for jobs here then go back if I didnt get any call backs. I wanted to work out so I just went to just fitness which was close to where I was staying so I decided to try it out. my first day there was a pink haired lady who seemed to be real nice and she let me try out the gym for free. I loved it. I had heard about gym fees and I told this lady that I wasnt moving here permanently as of that time. she told me she could sign me up and if I wanted to leave the gym all I had to do was bring in mail in my names from the address in macon and my subscription would be canceled. being the naïve person that I am I agreed and signed,. two weeks later 20 dollars were taken off my acc I didnt mind I figured it was gym fees. when I moved back down to macon in mid December I obviously stopped using the gym so when I did get a chance in early January I came down to Marietta and bought all required mail and signed a cancellation form of which I did not read. silly me... AGAIN. im so used to honest companies I guess but just fitness sure did teach me a lesson. thie girl who signed me out was named shane I asked her specifically if my gym membership would now be cancelled. she told me yes and that I had the full month of January free then my membership would be cancelled. I said great and was on my way. come end of Jamuary, I wake up one morning with 68$ amd 19$ taken off my account by just fitness. keep in mind that im a student without a job... this is a HUGE deal. I call just fitness and shane picked up. I told her my situation and she told me that her manager wasnt in town but she would be after a few days. a few days passed and I called again. she then said her manager which is a she was on a plane coming back.. I called back afew days later again then she put me on hold to go help a customer I guess. some silly boy picks up and tells me that shane just left the phone there and he was wondering if he could be of assistance I told him my situation he then said that shane will call wen shes done helping out a customer. I call back again then shane said she tried to call but my phone said it didnt have a voicemail. I receive voicemails all the time. I told her I wanted to talk to a manager. she gave the phone to some guy who was the rudest person I had ever talked to. In the most rudest way he told me that I shoud have read the contract and that all those charges were apart of the deal. I understand I hadnt read everything I should have. but if someone calls you when they have a misunderstanding calmly explain to them and they will understand. this guy went off on me talking about how many customers he had that if I wanted I could quit it wouldnt make a difference so on and so fourth. if this really is a manager im shocked because if a manager is like that then how are the employees? after arguing with him he told me that these two fees would be the last fees I get from them. of course I believed him. feb 21st I got 20$ taken off my account from them again.ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO ENTERING THE GYM OR WANT TO SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIPS(1)Go in knowing that they are those little hidden fees they do not tell you about(2) give them a credit or debit card number that you dont really have finances on. this will come in handy if you are trying to cancel membership(3) once the money is taken off your account you will never and I mean NEVER get it back.ADVICE FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO CANCELDo not bother going through the cancellation process that is put in place by the gym. just go cancel your debit or credit card and get another one with a different number
24 hours gym, not too crowded, I love it
Good gym with good pricing for the equipment, but very confusing to sign up/pay/stop payments.
In summary: I cancelled my membership in November when the email came out that the location was closing and they somehow forgot to do the paperwork and add me to their list. Now Im stuck paying $54 in late fees and monthly fees to get out of this mess. I was a member for 7 years. Way to treat your first members. There are a lot more details but I dont want to write a book.
Not going back. Shady business and employees/managers that dont care to even try to appease or retain their members.

Im not a gym guy, but at this place, I just might become one. Its huge and open, plenty of machines and free weights, and the sauna kicks much butt. Havent tried the classes yet, but they have a little bit of everything available, all included in the monthly price. Im sold.
