I had an estimate done and after a couple weeks I still had not received the actual estimate. After calling back, apparently the guy went on vacation after coming to my house and “doesn’t remember” the information anymore. They asked if they could come back to do another estimate. Absolutely not. I didn’t actually have any work done by them for obvious reasons. Very unprofessional.

Restor it did an awesome job installing the tile in my basement. It looks amazing! The guys got the job done and we’re very professional. Joey was very cool and gave me some free samples. I will definitely use him again!

Restor-It is one of the best contractors that I have used. From the beginning of the incident in my home, they were extremely responsive and professional. They gave me quotes to work with my insurance company and were patient while we worked through a settlement. When the work was approved and we scheduled our flooring replaced, we ran into some deadlines with our temporary housing that Bob and the flooring team accommodated. Again, if you need any restoration work call them first!

My water main broke and flooded my finished basement. Restor-It took care of everything from drying everything out, to repairing the walls and replacing the carpets. Restore-It refinished a long overdue residential hardwood floor and did a very fine job from start to finish. Very good communication, attention to detail, careful moving furniture, 1/4 round replacement, and follow-up. Will use again.

I wish that there was a way to rate a service at 4.5 starts. I will rate a few categories separately. Starting with Monika (and others) that work in the office, I rate their communication level at 5 stars. I was informed all throughout the process what was happening now and what would happen next. Bob was the estimator and main contact for this project. I rate Bob at 6 stars. He was great to work with. He spent approximately 50 minutes examining my shower problem in great detail to come up with the best solution. He even called the manufacturer of a certain product to see if it was a good fit for the job. There were some minor issues along the way and Bob was very concerned about making sure that the job was completed satisfactorily. He really wanted to make sure that the job was done correctly. There were a couple of concerns with the job itself but, I dont want to be too harsh because it was a repair job, not a job that they started from the beginning. I would rate the repair and the repair process at 4. Overall I would recommend Restore-it to do work for you.

Best team around! I called in a panic, my tenant came home to a flooded basement. This team was there within an hour. They quickly had fans up and going and dried everything out. The following week at 11:45p I had to call again because the hot water heater blew in the basement and flooded again. Again within an hour. This company installed ceramic tile in two bathrooms as part of a major renovation project. Bob was very helpful in making design decisions such as the direction of the planks and the use of taller baseboard for overall look. Both of which look great! Isaias, one of the installers, noticed that the grout color that was placed in will call at a local flooring store did not appear correct. He was right and a potentially costly issue was avoided!Highly recommended!

Requested a quote via email, and response and scheduled appointment were handled in a timely matter. After appointment, I reached out via email to sales rep as well as left a message and never received pricing. Its been over two weeks now. My situation is unique in that I was just asking for help replacing my subfloors (I was doing all the other parts), however if they were not interested in the job they could of said so instead of leading me on thinking I was going to receive pricing and then ghosting me.

Bob and company stripped my outdated and malfunctioning full bathroom in the basement down to the studs and rebuilt it back new and improved. And it was completed on time and in budget. We absolutely love the space now and highly recommend them for your renovation needs.

I used Restore-It twice. The first time was to clean up and restore. Then were thorough, extremely professional, and very reasonably priced. My experience was so exceptional that when I needed to replace e additional floor g I went to them and they did not disappoint.

Pretty disappointed with our bathtub resurfacing by Restor-It. They left a good bit of flakes from the bathtub sealant on our bathroom and bedroom floor that we had to clean up. There is also a big spot on the tub where they did not smooth it down and will more than likely break apart very soon. Would not recommend based on our experience.

EDIT:As per the response by the owner, the problem was addressed promptly and I was given the option to have the ducts checked again. I appreciate the offer and willingness to fix any issues.I had my air ducts cleaned at my apartment at the Village at Lake Park. Nothing was covered or cleaned up after so all of the dirt/mold flecks that had been living in the vents from the previous tenant found their way on to my counters, my bathtub, my toilet, the area where i eat and my food prep area. Messy job, I dont recommend this company.

I had no problems having new flooring and carpeting installed in my new home 4 years ago. In fact, they did a good job, and I have since sent business their way. The big problem came a few months ago when I contacted them to check out a couple of floorboards that were starting to pop up. They came right away, and that was the end of it. I never heard back from them, except for one email stating they were busy and would get back to me. They never did, even after repeated emails from me. Poof! They have disappeared. I am left to assume that it just would not be lucrative enough of a job. All I needed was a courtesy response: Cant do it; maybe later; sorry, you need to call such and such, etc. Instead, there was nothing. Unprofessional and disappointing. Needless to say, I will make sure to warn off friends from contacting them.Roswell, GA

My experience with Restor-It was stellar. We hired Restor-It to refinish the original hardwood floors in our 1964 ranch house. We had some tricky spots that they took care of with ease. I recall a hole drilled in the floor adjacent to the baseboards in my sons bedroom. They managed to creatively fill in this hole with a material that matched the color of our stain - and now not only is the hole gone... It looks like a natural wood knot in its place. I was incredibly impressed.The entire experience was simple, easy, and an excellent value for the quality of the service and workmanship.

I was Very unhappy on the Carpet they installed on our dream home the upstairs carpet, they had to come out numerous times to tuck the carpet back in between the hardwood floor and the carpet and if something spill on the carpet pieces of the carpet would come up once it was wipe, one of there Managers said he would come out a nd look at the carpet but he was A no show . I would not recommend them to my neighbors or friends and family. Mrs.Shakur

These guys are as unorganized and incompetent as they come. I contacted them because I wished to have a tile floor completely stripped of an acrylic topcoat. After discussing what the process would involve on the phone (including a test process) I set up an appointment. I could only find two seemingly legitimate reviews of Restor-It online--one on the BBB site and another on Yelp--both were very negative,. There were only two reviews, so I figured Id take a chance. Note: when a business tells you that they prefer you pay by cash or check MOVE ON. Guess its more difficult to dispute the end results that way vs. a credit card payment. They sent out a nice enough guy who apparently thought he was there to clean (not test or strip) tile for $150, and after moving my kitchen furniture out of the kitchen and attempting to clean it anyway, I knew this was FUBAR. After getting no results from cleaning he calls a supervisor and then came back and said the actually stripping process I wanted (which is what I requested initially) would take two days and they would get back to me. They guy left and didnt move my furniture back. I never heard back from them. I called a more established company and lo and behold the stripping and cleaning was only a 4-6 hour process and payment was pretty much in line with what I expected. There was no confusion or misunderstanding of what was to take place on the appointed (completely wasted) day with Restor-It, Inc on my end; on their end there was plenty! These guys should change their name to Destroy-It, Inc because if this is an indication of their standard business practice that is probably what they are doing to their customer base--destroying it.

I had Restor-It to refinish two bathtubs at two different times. Danny came in the first time. He is very good and I am very satisfied with his work. A few months later, I called Restor-It to refinish my second tub. Larry was sent. I am not satisfied at all. His work is sloppy. I removed some (not all) caulk before he came. I expected him to remove the rest of the caulk since removing caulk is part of the refinishing process that was described to me. and also on their website. I can tell he did not remove any caulk. Paint was drifted on several places.He did not complete the refinishing process before he left. The last step is to caulk the bathtub. He said the paint was wet and he could not wait until it dried. He spent roughly thirty minutes in my house for the entire job. He said he would not return to caulk it because it would require him to make another trip. He also asked me to remove the tape which was used to cover the faucet. I said I could break the paint because I am not a professional He told me to call his office and discuss with the people there if I break the paint. He did not answer me when I asked who would pay for the repair.I was billed for the whole refinishing job.I had used other services from Restor-It and I was satisfied and happy with the works. But... I dont think I will recommend Restor-It for refinishing or restoring bathtub.
