I called Cobb Electronic for a unit that they felt they may not be able to get a part for, they stayed on the line for quite q while to help me find another place that would be able to help me. They are a class act and provide remarkable customer service in a time when it is hard to find.

Called about a replacing backlights in my TV. This guy educated me with his knowledge. Very professional and Knowledgeable.

Not sure what kind of scam this guy has going but taking your TV here for repair is a good way to never see it again. Dropped my TV off on 9/6/19 and paid $40 for a diagnosis (customer order #H306). Numerous phone calls later he tells me I need a new mainboard for $200 - $300. Seemed high but cheaper than a new TV so I told him to order one. Months go by and many phone contacts but it never seems to get fixed. Finally I stop by the store to discuss in person and he tells me the TV is not in the shop, he has taken it home to work on. Really?? He tells me hell call but I never heard from him. Eventually I just give up and buy a new TV. Not sure if he just fixed and sold the old one or what. Actually had forgotten about the whole thing until I ran across my repair ticket in a pile of paperwork and figured it was worth warning any unsuspecting victims of this place.

I had a bad RF connector on the 12 volt powered LCD TV used in my motorhome. Frank was able to repair it overnight at what I considered to be a fair price considering the repair time required and the cost to buy a new replacement TV. The TV has been re-installed and works perfectly. I would happily consider using his services again.

I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Frank, you cant go wrong having him work on the repairs to your TV, he has saved me money, not having to buy another costly smart tv.....thanks frank.

Cobb Electronic did a great job fixing my TV. Owner dropped it of at my house which was much appreciated.If I have any future Electronic issues. I will be calling Frank.

Scam. I have come here on 7 occasions to fix my tv but every time they have had the same problems. My screen is now discolored and i can’t get my money back.

Be warned! Do not leave your television with this business. My wife and I paid $20.00 to leave our 70-inch Sony, smart TV on June 26 for an assessment and possible repair. It had originally cost $5K, was barely used, but an electric surge damaged the mother board. About a week or so later, the owner (of Cobb Electronic Repair) informed us of the cost for repairs (~$1000.00). I needed to discuss the cost with my wife, so I let him know that we would return his call. Unfortunately, life got in the way. We were in the middle of moving into a new house, school started for my son, and work was more demanding for both of us. In short, I did not call back until September (9/23 to be exact). It was then that the owner reminded me of the fine print on my receipt that stated that Cobb Electronic Repair is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS BY FIRE AND THEFT, OR FOR GOODS LEFT OVER 30 DAYS. He informed me that it was possible,though unlikely, that the TV was still in his warehouse and that he would call the next day to let me know for sure. After a week of waiting (again, life has been very busy), I called back and he let me know that the TV was gone. He also let me know that it was my fault for not calling back. In all fairness to this business, he is correct that I did not call within the 30 day time period. However, he never warned me of the policy (besides the terms and conditions on the receipt). He never called to remind me of the policy and that I would lose my TV. What is worse, when I expressed my anger towards my loss, he stated that he would give me another persons TV from his store if he could find one that was the same model and also broken.So be warned. While you may believe that I was wrong for not returning his call sooner, it is clear that Cobb Electronic Repair does not have the customers best interests in mind. With several other repair businesses in the area, how comfortable would you feel leaving your TV with this business and knowing that the clock is ticking?

I took my TV to Cobb Electronic Repair and I was very impressed with the service I received, Frank was very professional and courteous and addressed all my concerns and the TV was repaired in a timely manor and the cost of repair was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place!

My TV had a problem where the screen does not turn on and the red light keeps blinking. So, I brought him my TV and there was a $25 or $20 charge for inspection. Then, after one week he told me that there was an issue with the mainboard and it costs $320 to fix it. However, i told him no, and i took my TV with me back home then I ordered a mainboard from amazon for $100 and when I replaced with the old one it didn’t work, so i thought maybe the issue actually is not with mainboard. Then, I returned the mainboard and I ordered a power supply board for $30 and when I replaced it, it worked. My TV now works perfectly fine. To conclude, i was about to pay for $320 for nothing and for a wrong inspection.
