My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time out on the water. The captain and first mate are very good at what they do. We had fish in sight in no time, very exciting. We are already discussing our next trip back.

Absolutely the worst charter I ever went on. We paid them $1,350 for an 8 hr charter to take us tuna fishing on the Humps. The first mate, Nikki was in charge, and she couldnt have ben more rude...to us, to the captain (who was very nice) and to her boyfriend who she brought along because she had a broken hand and couldnt do any rigging or reeling. The boyfriend had no experience and did nothing right, so she kept yelling at him the entire trip. The two of them smoked non-stop the entire trip (even though we asked them not to since one of us was asthmatic). They argued the entire trip and had no abilities whatsoever. As for the trip, it took 5 hours to drive the 17 miles to our destination, because they wanted to save fuel. when we asked them to get us there faster, she said that would cost more money. However they did take the time to collect marine trash and a 5 gallon bucket from the sea. When we finally got there, she wasnt prepared to fish, so they spent 10 minutes getting the gear ready and then trolled for 15 minutes. But since they werent working the tackle properly, all the lines has sea weed on them and we caught nothing. Then we left. We asked them to stop at a reef on the way back, but she wanted an extra $100 to do that (the reef stop was included in the trip). On the way back we did finally land maybe 6 tiny baby tuna, and one little football. At the end she hit us up for a 20% tip.....yeah $270 that she didnt earn (tip was not disclosed in the agreement). When we refused, she told us that we couldnt have our fish until we paid the tip. I took the time to explain to her why I thought she didnt deserve the tip, to which she replied, and I quote: Once I get out there and s**t hits the fan, I could care less about someones feelings. I definitely dont recommend the Cara Mia.
