I do not want to even give them 1 star!Every time I have brought my vehicle to them, something else has seem to be broken when it was previously not. I have given them a few tries of acceptance, thinking it was just a fluke. NOPE.DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!!! They are just basic mechanics at the most.I know my vehicles and I take very care of them. I have tried numerous of shops and this place does not do well at all.I have wasted thousands on money and time due to their poor workmanship.If your vehicle needs service, take it somewhere else, or better off, walk. They will not get the job done correctly the first time. Do not, DO NOT waste your time or money. You have been warned!

Great experiences the last few times I went to this firestone location. They advisors are tentative to my needs. Fulfill my simple request of tire pressure, top fluids and took their time going through the work performed.. I took my F150 to other locations and they failed to be able to align my truck. This location was the only location that has been able to do it.. Definitely happy with the result as my truck is driving straight down the road again.

Firestone replaced my ball joint (lower front right) in January and in March it came out while driving, causing my car to seize up and thousands of dollars in damage - and a scary experience. The claims process has been extremely frustrating, slow and are denying responsibility.

Excellent service at this location. We had the pleasure of working with Gil this weekend on our car. We had and oil change full inspection and new tires added. We are pretty sure they even washed the car when they were done. Gil was very detailed in his inspection summary and made the time to search for the best deals for our service. Would absolutely recommend this firestone to anyone!

This location use to be really good a bunch of lazy men only want to do is oil changes any other work they re going to say we cant find anything thats wrong, having you to go else where to fix the problem. Im so disappointed.

I’ve gone to other Firestone’s in the Twin Cities area and the Maplewood location is the best! Gil and his crew work hard and they always keep me in the loop of what is going on with my vehicle. My husband and I know that when we bring our vehicles in, they will be taken care of quickly and efficiently, and correctly. We definitely recommend this location!!

Gill at the front desk is amazing, also the other guy that works the front desk is as well just didnt catch his name. They kept me in the loop what was going on with my car. I only use Firestone in Maplewood for my car as there customer service is amazing and they are never trying to pull a fast one on you. They just fix the problem. Great group!

I would not recommend this place. I went in for an AC fix and paid nearly $1,000 and it is still not fixed. I told them specifically that the AC didnt hold a charge yet they charged $300 for a tune up and charge and said bring it back so they could see where it was leaking. I brought it back and they replaced the condenser for $800 and several weeks later it stops working. I brought it back in for another check where they said there was air in the line and they pulled it out. Few more weeks and it stops working again and they said it would cost another $1400 due to a leak which somehow didnt get noticed the prior thee times I brought it in.

EXCELLENT accommodation with time and schedules! Very fast and efficient while still completing a thorough job. Thanks for the alignment today, Firestone!

Late post- I went into this Firestone location last fall & had the worst service I have ever had in my life. I have never been so used for my money. I simply went in for their special on oil change ONLY. Ended up waiting for over 3 hours (late for work) talking to two older front desk men, because they asked if I wanted additional work done with my brakes. I said NO. Miss communication on their part and ended up charging me $700 dollars for replacing brake pads that didnt need to be fixed nor did I want. (my brakes work just the same as they did before their service.) They knew I was not in there for that. Had to force them to get my car out of their shop. I had to apply for their ridiculous firestone credit card and had to pay the extra services I did not want. NEVER would recommend them to anyone in the twin cities.

Don’t know what to say about going to Firestone in Maplewood MnWent there to get a coolant fluid exchange $139.00My car work find when I brought it there had heat and ran find1st call they told me that they could not get the fluids to circulate and I had no heat2nd Call they told me that I had a bad thermostat and a $169.00 to fixI put a new thermostat in about 2 mouths before3rd Call still had no heat and they were working on it4th call told me that I need a new water pump $520.00Told them not to do the water pump went to pick up my carNow my car has no heat and I’m out about a $270.00When I pick up the car they gave me all the reasons why this happensJust to let you know I have a 2005 Buick Lacrosse with a 3800 motorNot a hard motor to work onI don’t think I will be going back

My new neighborhood mechanic. I showed up today for an oil change and they were able to fit me in. They checked on line to make sure they were putting in the right oil as mandated by the manufacturer. The service manager was pleasant and helpful. They presented me with a couple of add on services ( replace wiper blades which I declined) but were not pushy about selling me anything. They quickly performed the oil change and checked all the fluids and battery.They are very honest about the repairs they can do. I had called a week earlier about having a xenon headlight bulb replaced, and they were upfront and said I should probably take it to the dealer because this type of bulb replacement can be tricky. (It was. It ended up costing $800 and the dealer had to order a part.The prices here are very reasonable and they seem to always have a special or a coupon. I would recommend this Firestone dealer to anyone that needs tires or repair work that is not covered under a dealer warranty.

Be careful about what you get done here! I went in for an oil change and in the time they had my vehicle, they messed up my door and my window no longer goes down all the way. I dont know how you mess up a door doing an oil change. I made a claim and they wont do anything about. I do not recommend this place!3-1-21: Incase anyone was curious, I sent an email to the email address given to me below with all the info they wanted and a year has gone by with no response. Dont be fooled by their were sorry reply. They dont care.

You really need an appointment for a Tire Rotation!! Somebody spends 600 dollars at your place of business for tires and they con you into a new tie rod but cannot make time for a quick tire rotation!! 1 star

Got a screw stuck in one of my tires on a Friday evening. Called around the area and no one would patch it for me this late in the day. Called Firestone an hour before they closed, and they told me to come on in. Friendly and fast!

A year ago I purchased two sets of Blizzak tires from this shop, and the tires are great. The service - not so much. They seem primarily interested in selling their alignment services. I just had the Blizzaks reinstalled on my wifes car - they were already mounted on the original equipment rims. (I had to get the other set of rims elsewhere, these guys werent willing or able to do the work.) Anyway, ten miles later her TPMS light comes on. When she got home I checked the tires. They were a little low (youd think they should be spot on!) but not enough to trigger the sensor. The code says to take it to the dealership, which I do. Turns out Firestone hadnt bothered to reprogram the TPMS system when they mounted the wheels and tires - cost me $164.28 to have the dealership do it! When I asked them about it at Firestone they said I should have brought it back there. No, they should have done the job right the first time! Not knowing that was all it was, I took it to the dealer, only to have to pay through the nose to fix Firestones sloppy workmanship. I doubt Ill ever go there again. I should probably take them to small claims court, but it isnt worth the hassle. Be warned - these guys do really lousy work!

I would definitely not recommend this joint. I believe that they are either incompetent, inept or wanting to sell me services I dont need. When I had my tires mounted, the air pressure was different on each tire. The tires were not balanced properly, so it had a vibration at certain speeds. I brought it back three times to give them a chance to correct the vibration, which they acknowledged the balancing was out of balance each time. I brought it to another Firestone store who rebalanced the tires and this corrected the problem. The Woodlynn Avenue store advised me to have an alignment that I did not need and suggested the car was in need of replacement shocks and struts that were unnecessary to correct the problem. This would have cost me considerable expense and not addressed the issue.

Went in for a simple oil change and they tried to up sell me the following:Cabin air filter (I just replaced it last week)Wiper Blades (less than 3 months old)Fuel system cleaning (done 30,000 miles ago)Transmission(Transaxle) fluid exchange(Sealed unit, cannot be exchanged!)AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!

Ive had no problems with other firestones but this location has been riddled with issues. First they replaced a bearing and cv joint & shaft. A month and a half later its doing the same thing so they said it was a bad cv joint and replaced it again. Now a week later and its back to doing the same thing. Im cutting my losses and taking my vehicle elsewhere.

Shouldnt even give it a one star.Customer Service was horrible, the tire manager and mechanic Yer are incompetant..I had to bring it to their attention that they left off a bolt to hold the right wheel and said I could take it home ..To bring it back tomorrow, that their tool broke ..I m lucky I didnt drive it away and put myself at risk..Dont use this Firestone, they dont know what their doing and dont care..Worst expwrience ever..

Charge over $200.00 an hour $627.00 for 3 hours of work, I will never go there again.
