Not the sharp business that it once was back in the day but still better than most other landlords. In my experience this business at least makes an effort to respond to work orders made by tenets.

Got a application praying they can find me a safe home for me my husband we have to leave place of 9yr.My Landlord is a great man he sold his house and he thought his mom was moving and he stayed there but hes at campground waiting for us to move been 2half mon.and ant find a home .So I cant wait to fill this app out.

Ive been renting from Mr. Steimans for nearly 8 years. Best landlord Ive ever had. No regrets whatsoever .

I have never had a problem since Ive rented from them over 3 years ago. I would how ever make a suggestion of putting some money in to the apartments I am in. New siding, windows, new bathrooms. Its 2020 and all of them things are from the 70s. Time to update to keep the value of the property up.

I have rented from Stimens several times over the past 11 years. They have always treated me like family and have been so kind. I just moved back from out of state, and am now renting a beautiful home! The office staff worked with me every step of the way. 👍

The townhouse I rented was clean and comfortable. If I ever had anything that needed repaired, there was someone at my house the following day. I paid my rent on time, and never had an issue at all. I was treated fairly. I have and will continue to recommend Stimens. If you are a responsible tenant who takes care of your place and pays your rent....you will have no problems. :)

I love renting our town house from stimens. Its a good price for what we have. The maintenance guys are always very nice and smiling. They are repairing my front steps right now and I love the new ones. Much nicer than the concrete we had. The guy making them is very nice also .

Kurt and his people are excellent to work with. We have been renting office space from them for 5 years and never had an issue. They are easy to work with and fix any issues that arise. Thank you Stimens.

Roomy

I am Not a tenant of Stimens. However My husband, two children and myself are neighbors of a tenant of Stimens. We have been at our residence for 10 years plus and have Never had issues with Stimens tenants until recently. My husband and I have tried to contact Stimens about a recent issue, and altercation with the neighbors which resulted in to a physical matter in which police was called. After they were throwing overgrown bushes over the fence into our yard. No they Never tried contacting us about this issue so I guess they took matters into their own hands which resulted in a physical alteration between all neighbors in which they poked a sleeping bear. But Nothing was done and the extra tenant is still residing in the home which Stimens said that their shouldnt be. (But currently still are) This isnt something I Normally do. However we have made contact with Stimens about this issue and still Nothing has been done. I dont and Never have been had this kind of issue until they started being Childish. So if you rent from Stimens. Extra tenants Not on the lease. Can live there cause problems with No consequences. I guess as long as government assistance keeps paying their rent and Bills. Anything is acceptable. I am disappointed by the non actions that werent done/solved in this manner.

This is my third time renting from Stimens! I have nothing but respect for the Stimens family. Kurt and his staff have always been so kind and attentive. Having a place to care for and call home is important, Stimens facilitates this endeavor. I feel this company is a Blessing to Mansfield. Thank you Stimens!

Great place have been with them for almost 9 years always fix anything we have a problem with.. There very understanding and are willing to work with you.. The only thing I dont like is we are gonna have to move to a bigger place cause they dont metro any houses but other then that, we love stimens and really hate to leave

Nice apartment

First off they where really nice and i thought great. However, after filling out a application and them taking my $20.00 I was suddenly not get enough for them. An just to be clear I have no priors, decent credit, and make over 12.00 an hr. With that being said they told me Im sorry you just dont make enough for a 535 a month apt. I cant rent to you. As I walked out I heard one of the ladies say we dont rent to fat people sorry and giggled. Very unprofessional and only out for the application fee. Stay away

As a business owner I rented an office space downtown. It was spacious and affordable.

I did call Kurt and he is charging me for the damage that other people including the contractors messed up he took my security deposit off but he is charging me for the holes in the carpet after his contractors flooded my apt there were tenentsvthere before me they put holes in the carpet not me

They make you feel like family everythings well kept they are really friendly with you and really nice Apartments

$800 a month in rent, nasty dirty carpet that would be replaced a month after my family moved in. (NEVER REPLACED, Kurt said if I paid for half of it and made sure my kids didnt spill anything hed pay for the other half) huge slits in my kitchen floor, were to be fixed after I moved in, they were fixed seven months later. I came home to a random maintance man in my bedroom.... with no notice. They wont and dont fix anything, including water leaks. Dont rent from stimens, hes a slum lord. Find out for yourself!

Beware of this company.. We had an extremely bad experience with this company.. We sold our home this summer & was going to buy another home but decided to rent due to the crazy housing market .. Went to look at a rental, put down a deposit ( rental was still occupied by previous tenants) with a pet deposit .. A little over a 10 days later, informed them we could not move in ( they were still working on rental).. Called several times to inquire about receiving our down payment refund, received different answers, (staff is not friendly), finally stated we may pursue this in court ( we also were in process of hiring an attorney) & they reluctantly sent us a check refunding us for over 75% of our deposit.. Point is for over a month After informing them we could not move in, they were working to fix this rental up & it clearly stated on their website that this rental wasnt available yet, & but somehow they have tried to justify trying to keep our deposit money as well as our pet deposit.. This company deals with middle to lower income rentals & based on our deAlings with them we feel that they like to pick on the little guy if you will.. Think they realized that we had the means to fight back & would have taken them to court so they gave us a portion of our money back.. In the end we decided to cut our loses & hope Karma deals with them !!!DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.. They are untrustworthy & rip off people!!
