↪️ I dont like anyone walking up to me really fast and telling me I have to check out or leave even if it was 5 minutes until they closed the store. I was not familiar with the new store hours I imagine were a result of Covid-19. We didnt get any warning and were told rather rudely to come check out or to leave. The younger male was also clearly In a hurry and slightly rude when checking us out. He could have told us as we walked in that the store would be closing in 15 minutes or even given us a few minutes for us to quickly get any prerequisites and to wrap things up. When he walked up to us he was not allowing for another second more and wanted us to check out right then!!! So very very rude and lacking in customer service skills!!Second experience was a couple days after that and they had quite a bit of merchandise on sale marked an additional amount off the originally marked price. I couldnt find any original price except on the container that housed the many different clearance items, and that was marked $1.00. I was then under the assumption that there was an additional 50-70% off of that. I had about 30 or more items and when they scan them, the price that was scanned is not in view to the customer, so when my total bill ended up being more than I had for money, I had to stand there and go through my already scanned items and have them returned so that I could afford my purchase. It just made me angry that they werent marked correctly and made it appear to be LESS THAN THEY ACTUALLY WERE!! THATS FALSE ADVERTISING!! The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because of the nice employee checking me out at the register that did an excellent job to remedy the bill and assist with the matter. She was a somewhat older, female unlike the young man mentioned previously.Thank you to that woman for your customer service. 💯

I like dollar general. A little more expensive on their products but I never have to deal with crowds and annoyingly long lines. Never seen or heard of a rude staff member either with my circle of friends.

The store in Alma is fantastic! Its too bad they dont pay a decent wage because there is a big employee turnover. The employees that are there are Great!

Pretty good as far as dollar stores go. Nice selection of the basic necessities (milk, house cleaning supplies, etc.). Even found a package of 100 Christmas gift labels for only 35 cents.

This is my favorite dollar general. It’s so clean, and everything is usually fully stocked. You can find just about anything here that you would at Walmart if you’re just looking for typical stuff for around the house for your essential needs.

Service was wonderful. Im handicapped and she did all the lifting of my 12pk coke. She was so nice and courteous. This was in Manhattan, Ks on 40 highway

The new store is nice on the inside. I have trouble getting service at the register, I have to literally find an employee. I shouldnt have to search for someone to help me.

Yesterday afternoon when I went to the store on Tuttle Creek there was a young man being very rude to some lady had just asked a simple question and he proceeded to be very loud, rude and disrespectful to the woman. No customer deserves to be treated like that by any employee at any place of business

Very nice Dollar General and its a lot better than the one on Tuttle Creek Blvd and the staff are so welcoming and friendly unlike the other one I would choose this Dollar General over the Tuttle Creek location any day

Not bad, i live close to this so when im in need of something i can usually stop here and avoid walmart. More expensive but sometimes convenience trumps cost.

Arrived at store at 8:55 a.m. today, lights were on but no one there. Supposedly open at 8 a.m. I never shop here but thought they might have better Halloween candy prices. Guessing someone overslept. It happens, I get it, but frustrating. Had to go elsewhere, just a waste of time.

Never really packed and everything is relatively cheap compared to big stores like Hy-Vee and Walmart
