I like the price, plus small discount for paying cash. I like the polish choices. The service is perfectly fine. I didnt like the massage with the pedicure, very shallow not invigorating. The nail art was ok. To be fair, the manicurist refused to attempt several of my design ideas because she knew they were beyond her. The result was fine for me. If youre particular, this may not be for you. Otherwise, its a great option for many people. (Nail designs for fingernails but no manicure, and pedicure). Gel designs lasted 2 weeks before chipping. Pedicure is good for 4.

Omg... I was in VA for a wedding and thank god this place was open when I needed to do my nails.Very friendly staffs. The lady who did my acrylic on my hand was Ana amazing lady. She took plenty of her time on me.Those nails were still going strong without any chip on the nail polish till I had to refill. I wish they were here in Cali and I could go back to them as regular :(But thank you and keep up the good work. It was all worthy.

Tokyo nails is an awesome place! Its clean and so so cute. They care about their clients and they listen to them. What you want they want you to have. All of the staff is friendly and eager to please. Cam and Muy are the best! I always get compliments on my nails.

I love this place! My favorite nail tech is Muy she always does a wonderful job, listens to what you are asking for. She takes her time when it comes to what you are looking for and if you let her express her creativity she will not disappoint!!

First visit. I went on a Friday as a walk-in. 5min wait, not bad. My nail tech Cam was very good! He was friendly &shaped my nails perfectly. He did the ombre style nails which I absolutely love! They are definitely hip to the new styles! My pedicure was great too! I will be returning & I recommend anyone to this place if they are looking for a new nail salon!

I saw Mandy 3 weeks ago for a pedicure. Despite being told not to cut the sides of the big toes, she pulled away the skin aggressively which was extremely painful. It is now 3 weeks and I still have a lot of pain. Saw an internist who gave me oral and topical antibiotic and a podiatrist. This was an awful experience ! She was on the phone the entire time. Water spilled everywhere while the tub overflowed. She is reckless and very harmful. Beware! I may need toenail surgery as a result.

This will be my second visit. My first was amazing. Very friendly and comfortable surrounding. The staff is outstanding. As for the nails, they are a WOW factor. Amazing what they do. Prices are unbelievably reasonable.A definite must go to place

I live pretty far from Tokyo Nail but there aren’t any good nail salons where I am. This place is really great though - it’s clean, the people are friendly and it’s affordable. Cam did my nails and he did an amazing job. I’ve been getting acrylics for about two or three years on and off, and I’ve never gotten a set this perfect. Cam is super patient, takes his time and listens to what the customer wants. He books up fast and people rave about him, so make an appointment! I’m so happy I finally found a great nail salon :-)

Just moved here from Utah and was worried about not finding a great nail salon. Tokyo nails did a great job, they were so nice over the phone and accommodating I will be coming back again, again, and, again, they did a great job and I absolutely love the feel of the place.

I thoroughly enjoy Tokyo Nail. I choose to always make an appointment but if I do walk-in Im helped with just a little wait. I choose Cam to do my nails and as the owner he is always in demand so I always make an appointment. I think everyone who works there are always helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. The recent store update with new spa chairs for pedicures are so comfortable and relaxing. Just a friendly environment that makes you feel pampered. I recommend anyone to try either location. They are quite popular so make an appointment!

I’m really not sure why this place has good reviews. Not friendly at all, super rushed, didn’t feel tools were properly sanitized and the messiest paint job I’ve ever had- started chipping the very next day because of the rushed job. Will not return and I’m a pretty forgiving, understanding customer.

Left this same review at other sites to make sure the word gets out.So disappointed. Called a week before to see if they did chrome manicures. Was told yes. Told them I already had one that needed to be filled in. I was in town to visit family ahead of going out of town and made the appointment for just a few hours before we had to be at IAD.When I got there, they were a bit confused and fascinated by my chrome manicure. That should have been my first clue to leave. Instead, they removed my gel chrome and proceeded to do a new one.What I got, though, was not a chrome manicure, but a silver gel polish. Big difference. And it wasnt a great manicure either - it was uneven on a few nails and went past the cuticles on a couple. But I paid, figuring it was gel and would at least last the entire vacation week and that I could go to my regular manicurist in NC once I got home.Less than two hours later as were getting ready to leave for the airport, I saw that the silver was already coming off all of the nails. All.of.them.As we left for the airport we stopped in so I could request a refund, and they refused, only offering to touch it up. I refused, stating a touch up after only 2 hrs was unacceptable, and that I had no time because we were literally heading to the airport. He refused again, so I let him know Id be leaving bad reviews.Im now at the airport gate, lamenting that I paid money for something that isnt even as good as I would have done on my own at home.

Kerri is by far the best person I have ever had do my mani/pedi. She actually cares about her work! She takes her time and recommends her expertise. When you find someone as good as she is, you will never go anywhere else.

Not worth it.My mom and I tried to go about three weeks ago, on a Friday. We were walk-ins. The gentleman up front told us to sign in, and that there were only a couple of people ahead of us. Understandable, since we didnt have an appointment. We waited, along with another girl who had an appointment at 4 (we were all there a little before 4). They finally called her around 4:30 for her manicure. While we were waiting for our pedicures, I noticed that a couple of the seats were empty. Figuring it was just 1 person doing pedicures, we continued to wait. At some point, we were asked if we picked our colors. (we brought our own so we could do touch-ups later). Waited...and waited...around 5, another group comes in. They IMMEDIATELY get the empty seats, without even waiting for more than a few seconds. Im sure they had appointments, but STILL! No one said ANYTHING to us, (pretty much the whole time). We were waiting for well over an hour! We got up and left, furious.The icing on the cake was when I e-mailed them right away, informing them that if they were that busy, they should have said something to begin with; we would have understood, instead of ignoring us like that. No reply. No apology, nothing. Its been 3 weeks now.To be honest, the whole atmosphere felt cliquish, lots of regular customers and other walk-ins. I guess we werent good enough? :(

I love this place! They owner is very friendly & kind. Muey & Joe are 2 of the best nail techs there. Like any place, there are a couple I dont personally care for, but overall, all the ladies and men are extremely nice! They make an effort & I appreciate that!

I was really optimistic about trying this place out, but I was really disappointed by the . My technician was nice and I didnt have to wait for very long to get my nails done, but she did a terrible job. I got a polish change on my fingers (gel) and toes (regular) and its super sloppy. She got polish all over my nail bed or left gaps, there are bubbles in the polish on multiple nails, and the gel coverage is inconsistent. Im not sure what everyone else was raving about. This was a complete waste of money. I definitely wont be going back. Update... My manicure and pedicure lasted only a few days before chipping. What a waste!

This place is overpriced for the service you get. I paid for the deluxe spa pedicure, which is $43 ($40 if you pay with cash). During the pedicure, the employee used the cuticle cutters to pull skin from around my big toe, which was painful. She also repeatedly got up from the station to walk around and text, leaving me for 5 minutes at a time. She was not at all friendly during the visit, and the pedicure was painful. Additionally, as you can see in the picture, the end result was messy and I had polish all over my feet which I had to ask her to clean. Very overpriced. I will not be returning.

Love the way Joe did my nails. But I bent my nail and it just cracked. Two days after getting them done. Idk why it just did. Now have to go back in get it fix. 😢

Let me start off my saying I was never one of those people who made appointments for my hair or nails until I finally found someone I like muy is by far the best of the best I have been going here for over a year and my nails never look better I use to bit my nails and not my nails are long and pretty if u even need to make an appointment muy Is the way to go love love love her ..and cam too :)

Came in today for a mani/pedi and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Moi. She did a beautiful job with my nails and toes. She’s very sweet and gentle. Definitely will be coming back to see her.

Great prices & very fair! They don’t over charge for every little thing like some of the other salons I’ve tried! The owner, I believe her name is MUY does AMAZING WORK! I only like her doing my nails! She pushes up the cuticles & clips my stray/dead skin (only select few places do that!) ... shows they care & great attention to details!!!! ✔️✔️✔️✔️ They also do swarovski crystals!!! Not a lot of places out here do/use those. I’ve had salons tell me they don’t do it Bc “people don’t get that out here”. LOL. I’m from NYC, they do it all & people definitely pay for it too! We want what we want right, lol. Been here twice, they had me as a new customer day 1. Moved to VA over 15 months ago but I can finally say “I’ve found my nail salon”!!!! Thanks guys!!!!

I went for a walk-in manicure and didnt wait too long on a Tuesday, which is when they are open for appointments.The service was good, like another reviewer says, there is no rinse, just the hand cream and the mittens which are then dried. My manicure was not rushed, and the attendant reviewed her work carefully, she was talkative and nice.The interior is ample, seating is comfortable, there are two low volume TVs and background music, general area was clean and the stations were organized, I liked the Asian themed decoration and floral arrangements, also plenty of magazines to check while you wait.Prices are reasonable, there is varied service list and the location can be convenient if you are going to Manassas old town or using 234.

I did SNS dipping powder mani here, and the technician was not good enough with it. It took more than 40 mins to remove my old SNS which usually takes only 10 min at all other salons. She seemed like that she just didnt have any idea how to.. (I was thinking to leave there without new colors.)This place does NOT have nice colors with SNS. They have about 50 colors, but no vivid colors, no beautiful glitters, not even a hot pink! If you are looking for SNS, dont go there!

Ok I read all the reviews that this place had and they seemed good and decided to go all when wrong what I had read Was definitely not true I when for a pedicure and a manicure, I decided to do my pedicure first couple minutes after they told me that for my manicure they did not have time so by them I realize that it was a big mistake to go to this place and it was totally disgusting they do not sterilize the equipment they use !!!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place

Tokio nails is one of the best nail studios thats out there. There is no change in theyre work even after a year!!
