My husband and I had the best experience buying from Brown’s! Leo (sales) and Amara (finance) were fantastic. I bought my Kia Sorento in 2020 from Browns Manassas Kia and had a good experience. Since then I have taken my vehicle to them for all routine service. Thats why todays encounter was so disappointing.Today, I scheduled a 12:00 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. A process that should take far less than an hour for trained professional to complete. I allocated a 2 hour window in my day for the service as I can change my own oil and rotate my tires in an hour. I prefer to have the professionals do it.Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted. I was then told all technicians are going to lunch and will be back an 1:00. I was then told that appointments are not guaranteed and that Its just like a doctor, you dont get seen when your scheduled. This did not sit well. Their only option for poor customer service was an offer to leave my car, drive me home, and then pick me up when they finished with it. Keep in mind, they have an option for a drop off service when scheduling.When I asked why they allowed me to schedule a 12:00 appointment if they did not have staff to perform the service, they told me they did have staff. Maybe their circular logic works on some people, but to me its pretty straight forward. If you allow an appointment to be scheduled you should honor that appointment. There were other appointment times available and there were times that were greyed out. If this time was not available, it should not have been allowed to be scheduled.Finally, when I asked how many cars were in front of me, they refused to tell me. They told me I was welcome to take my car to another dealer.I am very disappointed in the way I was treated by the General Manager, George Henderson. While he was not rude during the encounter, his lack of customer care is apparent and appalling.Save yourself the headache and use a reputable garage that actually values its customers.

Brown’s Manassas Kia was great from start to finish. Pedro De Lao was my salesmen and he made the buying process so easy. He was very professional and super friendly. I’d definitely buy a car from him again! I’ve been to many dealerships and what many of them lack is good customer service. The team I encountered through out the process was on point! Took the day off of work to purchase a vehicle. Browns did not honor the agreed to price of a Telluride after I was explicit that I was not paying ADM markup. They quoted me an out the door price for the EXACT VIN that I validated when I arrived. Shady in that they told me they quoted another VIN. I rechecked the email and showed it to them and they said they apologized for the confusion. I simply will not do business with a company that does not honor an agreement. Quoted out the door price and said Come in we will appraise your vehicle and swap keysRidiculous. Stay away!

Scam alert! Do not pay for any repairs from Browns Kia without getting a second opinion from an independent mechanic!I recently took my pre-owned Kia Sportage in for a factory recall at Browns Manassas Kia. They did the recall repairs, and it took them all day. When they were finished, they said that my rear brakes and rotors were totally worn out, needed to be replaced, and would not pass inspection. They said that it was too dangerous to drive my car with the brakes The Way They Were. They then quoted me $1,500 to do the work.A week after I got the recall repairs done, and not having driven it in that entire time, my car started having a lot of problems. These were problems that I did not have prior to me taking my car to Browns Kia for the recall repairs. I took my car 2 a local mechanic who looked at it and said that there was nothing wrong with the brakes anywhere front or back.I am so glad I took it to another mechanic or else I would be out $1,500 or more. Do not take your vehicle to these people for a factory recall or any other kind of repair.I will never take my car to Browns Kia for any repair ever again.

I had a terrible experience at another local kia as a result of that I ended up calling Kia Browns. My initial call was taken by Pedro De La O who turned out to be my purchase salesman.The deal went extremely smooth, with no regrets I have to say this has been the best car deal thus far. I have purchased over 12 brand new cars in the past 5 years. The car buying experience Pedro provided was hands down the best so far. Pedros approach, honesty and friendlies made me comfortable throughout the whole process. There is no doubt that I will be recommending family and friends to visit browns Kia to see Pedro. Awesome. The service writers were polite, and surprisingly cheerful. I had been in the auto industry for 27 years, I understand being polite, but you can kind of tell when someone is actually cheerful, as opposed to faking it. The three people I dealt with, two writers and a cashier, were cheery, and very engaging. The shop was clean, the waiting room, spotless. Awesome all around.

Wow! All the staff are absolutely wonderful. They helped make our new car purchase and trade in easy and effortless. Akram was the sales rep who helped us pick out and purchase the car. He went the extra mile in every step of the way. Kevin, one of the sales managers, was also very helpful along with Claudia in finance. Id like to also mention Syed (sales) and Wais (General Sales Mgr) who were very helpful when I called a couple of days after our purchase. This team knows all about how to give good customer service and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We highly recommend them. BTW - we LOVE our new Kia Soul! Thank you, Browns Manassas Kia! This vehicle was marked up $5k over msrp when I viewed it today and they as you can see in their online add are not advertising that!!! Using COSTCO auto buying and the Consumer Reports auto buying issue we did our due diligence. Pedro answered all our questions. The service that I received here was horrible, my car had an issue out of the manufacturer that my dealer is not willing to fix nor is another Kia dealer. They are advising I contact someone else when this was an issue with my car right off the lot. I will never go here again nor recommend them to anyone. Service is terrible and they are just going to refer you somewhere else and say there is nothing they can do! I definitely regret any purchase made with them!

My experience at Browns Kia Manassas was excellent from the moment I was greeted at the door. Everyone there is welcoming, friendly and respectful. My salesman was Akram Salim. Right away he treated me as if hed known me. Akram will work with you for as long as it takes for you to decide whether you want to buy or just Window Shop. Once I bought my car, Akram stayed with me for as long as I needed. I had questions. I needed training in the technology of my new car and Akram insisted on making certain I felt comfortable and safe in the knowledge of operating my new vehicle, from the moment I started the engine, until the next day when I returned with more questions, he stayed with me. Don’t do business with them! Go to ourisman Kia chantilly instead! Leased a car from browns 3 years ago. Went to purchase my lease today and they added on an extra $1000 (in addition to their $800 processing fee which was expected) that helps to ‘pay the bills’ according to the general manager. This extra $1000 fee is never mentioned in the lease agreement/contract and cannot be waived. I purchased another lease a month ago from ourisman chantilly Kia and they had no such fee. AVOID this dealerships tricks, scams, and hidden fees at all costs!

Was saying they dont finance for the car I wanted and its cash only despite not asking me about the financing I already had in place. I am disgusted by this dealership.

I needed a new car after my 9 year old Nissan was a goner. I did research and decided on Kia Soul. Worked with John Sasso who is literally one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He helped me by showing me the ins and outs of a few models and helped me compare to the Seltos which was another model I had considered. From start to finish this was a terrific experience. This is the 3rd car I’ve bought in my adult life and the first time I’ve had a good experience at a dealership. Im writing my first ever review because my experience with the Browns Manassas Kia staff was so great! After spending the weekend looking for a new car and having disappointing experiences at multiple dealerships, I am so thankful to have ended up here. My husband and I were looking to get a new car so we could give one of our old ones to our son. Our salesman, Pedro, was absolutely amazing from the very beginning. I hate going to car dealerships due to past experiences, but Pedro made me feel comfortable and at ease. He never talked down to or ignored me like other car professionals have. He answered all my questions and graciously embraced my Southern chattiness. After I test drove a 2021 Sportage yesterday morning, my husband and I came back so he could test drive a 2021 Stinger. Despite our indecision, Pedro was patient and even stayed late to continue to assist us. When we decided to complicate things and get both cars while also trading in one of our old cars, Pedro worked extra hard with Kevin (I think the sales manager) to get us the prices we were looking for. We went back today to finish the paperwork. Even though they were very busy, Pedro worked hard to make the process as quick and painless as possible. The business manager, I think Abdul, worked so hard to get the financial part finished quickly even though he was crazy busy. I met Mr. Henderson, the general manager, yesterday and he was welcoming and friendly. Another salesman, Johnathan, also chatted with us and made us feel welcome. We were offered snacks and drinks multiple times throughout our time at the dealership. In short (although its kinda long bc of previously mentioned Southern chattiness), Pedro is a great salesman and I would recommend him to anyone! The sales staff who worked with us were also awesome! Best experience for buying a vehicle! Everyone that I dealt with was incredibly professional. I changed direction several times between vehicles and financing options and George the GM and Claudia in finance could not have been more patient and helpful. If I had a question they answered it and if I was wavering there was no pressure. They each told me several times that it was important that I was happy with my purchase. I had a good experience back in June when I bought my 2020 Sorento. I worked with Angel and John, my car is beautiful and besides it being a floor model I am very happy with my purchase. I had a small dent in my bumper which was communicated to me upfront and they even came to pick it up and repair it for me. The unfortunate thing is the contractor who fixed the bumper spilled adhesive in the back of my car. I was obviously disappointed with it being so new but Angel was very responsive and apologetic he helped get the entire car cleaned out so it was ultimately fine. I understand things happen. The reason I cant give them 5 stars is because after cleaning out my car from the mishap my car mats were removed and when I called back after realizing that I didnt have the mats that came with my car I was told that I picked the most basic model which didnt include mats. I did get the basic model, was working with less than perfect credit and indeed was trying to save money but these were not fancy weather tech mats. I specifically remember moving them from the back when I took pictures of the mess and they must have forgotten to put them back after cleaning/vacuuming. I am a busy mom and I wish I noticed sooner because I had trouble getting back in touch with someone but to be told a 2020 doesnt come with floor mats is pretty ridiculous. An easy purchase I can make with Amazon but after spending the money I did Im ultimately questioning the character of the sales team, seems silly that they would lie about something so simple.

If youre looking for a pleasant car buying experience, Browns Kia is the spot.I needed to trade my car in (that I also purchased from Browns Kia in 2014) for a larger vehicle that suited my lifestyle better. A friend told me to call Pedro, and so I did. I had found the exact vehicle I was interested in on the website, so I set up a time to meet with Pedro the following day. He made sure he was available for me and had the vehicle already pulled up. There was no pressure to look at other vehicles or walk the lot to find something else. Pedro is super helpful and made my experience quite painless (it helps that hes kind of funny). If he didnt know the answer to my question he made sure to find out for me. I was in an out in a few hours.Overall, this is a great dealership. The new location is beautiful and clean and the staff are all very friendly. Finance was not a headache whatsoever, the young lady that helped us was awesome. My car was delivered to me in perfect condition- its used but you would never know.Im happy and would definitely recommend this Kia store.

From the time that our salesman, Angel M., opened the door for my wife and I to welcome us in, to the time he waved us goodbye in our new Kia Telluride, Angel was truly exceptional with his service and expertise. Angels assistance throughout the buying process was amongst the friendliest we’ve ever received. He treated us as if he was welcoming us in to his own home. He was able to answer most, if not all, questions about the car we were purchasing as if he had been driving one for years. Went in to test drive a Telluride, was expecting to haggle over our trade in and for a fair price on the purchase and ended up leaving with a top of the line car and no haggle necessary. Jonathan gave us more than a fair trade in value on our 19 Sorento and made sure we found a vehicle that checked all our boxes, including price and payment. They even offered us a deal with less cash down than we had anticipated and a monthly payment that fell below our max right off the bat, no negotiating needed! If you want a FAIR deal, I highly recommend checking these guys out!

Recently purchased my new 2021 Kia Seltos. John Sasso was the best salesmen myself, boyfriend, and mother have ever dealt with. My boyfriend and I went to just test drive a vehicle for me and John Sasso understood completely and did not pressure us at all. He showed us the vehicles I was interested in, explained all the features on each trim model and the options/colors they had available. After the test drive and finding the right vehicle I did decide to make my purchase. He brought us a brochure with all the add ons possible for the Kia Seltos and was VERY accommodating with all the add ons that I wanted and talking to the parts and services department several times with my questions. He put a full tank of gas in my new SUV and washed it even though I wanted the sales floor model. He was very pleasant to chat with and interested in building a friendship while waiting to go back to financing. He was very friendly and polite to my mother who came to sign my title the next day.

A truly great car buying experience. We were debating between the Kia Telluride and the Hyundai Palisade, but the Telluride seemed like an overall better, cleaner build. I wish I could give 5 stars. Because Carlos, the salesman, really deserves it. He was just great, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. But as soon as we stepped in to the finance room, the finance manager just destroyed it. I get that it was past 8pm and she had to stay past that time, but the attitude we got was not fair. She was rude, rushed us thru the paperwork, made some unnecessary comments along the way, didn’t want to go into details in anything. She just wanted us out, as soon as possible. I felt like we owed her a car, when we were trying to get a car. There was no customer service whatsoever. No Hi, no bye, no please pr thank you. I wasn’t asking her to be my friend, but some basic customer service skills would’ve be appreciated.Because of this experience I will not recommend the Manassas Kia, because I wouldn’t want anyone to feel that way.

Typical used car salesmen. I was told by the Angel in sales that my car had a 5yr.-60000 mile factory warranty when I purchased the car. I specifically asked if the car had a bumper to bumper warranty, and was told yes. They gave me no information on the warranty at the time of purchase. When I went to the dealership (after they would not return my call), I find out that the bumper to bumper warranty had already expired before I even bought the car! Very dishonest people. I do not recommend this dealership. No honesty and decency with people anymore. They will tell you anything to make a sale. Get everything in writing.Update: Stars added due to sales manager George helping to get my vehicle repaired. He went beyond what was required to facilitate the repairs to my car. Thank you.

I just tried to see if I could do business with this location, (12/10/2020) in the process of validating the information I put down for financing the employee kept repeating the income that sounded nothing like the income I told him I make monthly. It had me concerned as it wasnt the same income. I ended the call their mentioning I was no longer interested in doing business with them as I was frustrated at him repeating the same income(different than my actual). In the process of mentioning that I did not want to do business the employee hung up on me. It leaves me discouraged as I felt as though I found a gem. (great deal on a car)

The transition was conducted with no issues Duvall researched and made sure my son purchased the vehicle he wanted and Claudia made sure the financing was acceptable and they both made the deal happen. I was notified about a recall so decided to schedule an appointment for a Saturday online. On friday I got a call from the dealer that mentioned the spare part needed was not available yet and they would call me once delivered. That same Monday after the weekend I got another call saying they got the spare part and that when I would be available to schedule an appointment. I said Saturday. They told me they dont do recalls on a Saturday! Saturdays are only reserved for oil change and other paying services. I had to take my business to the second nearest Kia where they only did an inspection no spare part needed. So apparently it was all a scheme for me to a schedule during a weekday. Amazing lack of respect for peoples time. And I was a client of this place but they lost me.

We test drove a 2021 Telluride and loved it. Told the salesman wed likely be making a decision in the next 24 hours. It was the last day of the month and they seemed eager to make a sale to meet monthly sales targets, yet we didnt receive any follow up call or email from him. So we emailed him an offer with the specs we wanted early the next morning. 6 hours later we still had no response. I called him and he was confused, claiming he never saw an email. I told him to check and get back to us. Another hour later we still hadnt heard back so I called again. He claimed their email was down so he never received it. I dont know how you go an entire workday without realizing youre not receiving email, let alone ignoring a potential sale. Eventually I just gave up and went to another dealer.

My husband and I are very appreciative of Browns Kia teams willingness to help us in purchasing our vehicle. The team worked really hard to get us at a price we felt comfortable at. We never once felt pressured or uncomfortable in any manner. We were constantly offered water and snacks during the process. We also appreciated that every person we came in contact with was wearing a mask and that hand sanitizer was readily available to us. Have spent two weeks trying to buy a car from home as they advertised on their website as I have no desire to go sit in the showroom and haggle during COVID. We agreed on a price and now have spent two weeks waiting for them to send me the paperwork to complete the sale. They also said they could deliver the car but now are saying I have to pick it up, which I am willing to do if necessary but I doubt we will ever get to that point.

Very disappointed with their service over the phone. Akram was the first sales person I spoke to. I called and wanted to get more information of the vehicle and hopefully negotiate so I could purchase. I told him and another representative to cash and wanted to pay cash. (Ps. I am serious when wanting to purchase the vehicle I have told them) he sent me a quote with the vehicle being over priced (different from their website) then I call and told them that a 5 year old vehicle couldn’t be certified to explain that to me. And I think he tried but I could not understand a single thing he was saying. Besides very not interested in selling. Another representative I spoke was (will update when I find the name) I let him know I was trying to negotiate the price on x vehicle to purchase and that I live an hour and some minutes away. He said he would get back to me in 5 minutes. It’s been 2 days. Very unfortunate of their part and their manager by not wanting to negotiate. I am still searching for a vehicle and hopefully I can find the right sales man and manager that can negotiate a vehicle for me to purchase cash. Bad experience. Good luck for those that want vehicles from this place.

The manager is so clueless. I wanted to trade my car in and buy a new one and he thought I was trying to pay full for the new car and give them my car FOR FREE on top of the new car. Also I know this is common with all dealerships where they put a discount and then just make you pay the discount back in taxes and shipment but these guys are on a whole other level. The employees wouldve made better waiters since they ask you every 2 seconds dO yOu WAnT SoMeThINg tO eAt and Im not kidding when I say they ask you every 2 seconds, at the end of every conversation it would just be would you like something to eat which I guess is showing hospitality but holy they ask way to much which is annoying at some points.

I dont understand how the service dept stays in business, no one in service stays in touch with you on anything, I have to keep calling to see if a part came in, I have to see if the cars fixed and I have to call if its ready for pick-up. I know for a fact it does not take a week to receive part and no one ever called and said it was in. I had to do it too, what kind of service is that ?? I never had this much trouble in any other service garage than this one.

After purchasing our 2020 Kia from Browns we couldnt get ahold of anyone to finish our paperwork out, and almost landed us in having two auto loans from two different banks! We were also promised two free oil changes and they would honor those free changes at our local Kia dealer since we lived 1.5 hrs away. Here we are, at our local dealer getting our oil changed and now Browns says we have to go there for it to be free.We will not go back to Browns for service or buying a car again.

I didnt really have any issues as others have stated. Sure you should look at your sales paper to see what they are trying to push on you. I noticed 2 things for appearance and paint protection but I crossed it out and said I wasnt paying for that and they took it off. My salesman wasnt as friendly at the beginning, didnt feel really welcome from him, but thats just one person, but as a whole dealership, it was a pleasant experience. I came an hour and a half away to get the car I wanted. They were helpful with the out of state process. The building was clean. I would recommend.

I was at another Kia dealership the day prior and dealt with their less than subpar customer service which lead me to walking out & not purchasing the vehicle i wanted. Youstin Montano my salesman made me feel very welcome and answered all my questions which expedited the process. The rest of the team were also great and very pleasant to work with (the individual who assisted me with the value of my trade in & the finance lady as well). Great team, could not ask for better when going to a dealership.

They always try and find a way to screw you over! If you go in for an inspection they will find a way to fail you then charge incredibly high prices to fix the issue! They think they have you over a barrel because no one wants to drive home with a rejected sticker... Criminal!

Im writing this 5. star review because I usually HATE trying to buy or trade a vehicle at a dealership because of the GAMES that often go along with the process. Leo C. was my salesperson and Kevin the sales manager made my car buying EXPERIENCE the most transparent and comfortable process Ive ever dealt with or witnessed as a customer or when I witnessed customers buying a car at a dealership I was currently working at. THERE WAS NO FUNNY BUSINESS ...JUST VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD,FRIENDLY PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND PRECISE NUMBERS WHEN IT CAME TO THE PAPERWORK. I also want to point out that when I got in Finance, John was as STRAIGHTFORWARD as Leo and Kevin were and went above and beyond to be certain that we understood all the paperwork and got us a VERY COMPETITIVE RATE on our new Kia Stinger. I could go on with other things they did to make sure my wife was happy with the PURCHASE from Browns Kia but I Will finish by saying that it was very different from what I had feared about spending all day at a dealership. I will recommend ANYONE looking for a new KIA TO SEE LEO C. AT BROWNS. THEY BEAT KOONS AND SAFFORD KIAS DEALS ON A VERY AGRESSIVE PRICE THAT KOONS AND SAFFORD WOULD NOT DO. I was a super anxious car buyer with not great credit from my separation. Pedro and Claudia were incredible. No pressure or upselling or just trying to get me out the door with a sale. They talked me through my options and exactly what I was paying for. The warranty on its own is worth its weight in gold. --Edit 5/19/2021--In April 2021 I was looking for a change in cars possibly. I had sent an inquiry to Browns Manassas Kia for an upgrade/different car.I did not get a response from Browns Manassas Kia. I emailed again a couple weeks later. Nothing so I moved on.I bought a new car elsewhere, and outside of the Kia brand.Fast forward to 5/18/2021 I get a Letter in the mail stating that Browns Manassas Kia rejected my credit which I never gave them permission to do, there was no response/follow up. I will be going to Kia Corporate over this matter.---------------------------------------------------------------My salesman was great. But overall experience of waiting forever to get into finance after driving 2 hours to buy a car was very slow.They also have some things they do that bump up the car price like all weather floor mats and pinstripes. Not a fan of not having the option.
