I LOVE these fellas!! They have done so much work in my home since 1999. I never hesitate to ask for whatever service I need. I always am happy with the job and the response time. Sam and Mike did an outstanding job replacing an Expansion Tank and replacing exhaust PVC piping. They were on-time, well-organized, sensitive to social distancing, knowledgeable, and courteous. They were able to diagnose an elusive banging noise that we had been chasing for over a year. We couldnt be more pleased.

Clark CochranI contacted Air Right Energy Design for a project that needed to be done in my house. Sam from customer service finally got back to me and said someone would be in contact with me soon. That was June 7, 5 days ago. I guess soon means more than 5 days. I have sent a couple messsages to Sam since saying no one had got back in touch with me yet, and all mesages have been ignored. I have not heard back from him or anyone from this company. Strange how some businesses can ignore and be so non responsive to potential new cuistomers... I guess they do not care about new customers or their reputation.

When replacing our old Hvac system, we got 7 proposals from different companies. Air-Right differentiated itself from the competition in many ways. Their rep was the only one who took time to diagnose issues we had noticed in the house. The rep, Craig Carter, was wonderful to work with. He made an economical recommendation to solve the issue where all other companies/reps just were planning to sell me the new system.Not only did Craig Carter demonstrate Air-Right’s consultative approach, I could tell he genuinely wanted to find a solution for us and I could tell that he has a deep passion for his line of work. I have been using Air-Right to service and maintain my home’s HVAC equipment for several years now. Most recently we called in for an AC repair on our 18 year old air conditioner. When I called in to book an appointment, the people in the office were very pleasant and were able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Sam was the technician who came out. He quickly diagnosed the issue and offered us some fairly priced solutions upfront. We decided to have the AC repaired, and Sam worked efficiently and got our AC up and running. He was very neat and didn’t leave a big mess when he was done and now our AC is working great. We will definitely be calling Air-Right for any future AC or furnace repairs.

Called them out due to a burning smell coming from our vents. Mike was at my house in 20 minutes. Ended up replacing the blower motor, then instead of fixing the issue and leaving-Mike investigated the issue. He found I had 3 times more air leaving the vents than returning air circulating through the system and gave us an inexpensive solution to fix this. Our system works better, runs less, and doesnt cost near as much to use. We have all electric heat and in the winters past couldnt keep the house warmer than 65. After Mike helped us identify the issue, I can keep myself and my young kids warm all winter long.

Garys work is top notch. He always works efficiently & gives honest evaluations on the jobs needed. He does not do any work that is not needed & gives the best price for the job required. He is also very pleasant to have around. We will hire him for our next job.

We had a new Lennox heating and air conditioning system put in by Air Right. There pricing was competitive and the installation was outstanding. I can not say enough about the positive experience we had working with them. Starting with the initial estimate to the installation everyone was great.They showed up when they said they would and came with 6 technicians and completed the installation in about 5 hours. My wife was amazed at how well they worked as a team to get the job completed. As far as the work they performed it is first rate. They are prompt in responding to communications. I would definitely recommend them.

Air Right is great for HVAC maintenance agreements as well as emergency situations. They are super knowledgeable, always fair with their pricing and recommended solutions and ever-dependable. Ive had a maintenance agreement in place with them for 16 years and used their team to replace both of my builder-installed AC units and all experiences have been 5 star. As a plus, they are considerate of your home and wear booties over their shoes - you sure cant say that for all companies who work in your home. I am quick to refer Air Right to my friends and family!

The engineer came in to check my water-heater. It took him but a few minutes to discover and resolve the issue. He also went ahead and changed my meter. I asked how much the trip would cost and he said it wouldnt cost anything because they are under contract to service my meter. Very happy with every aspect of their service; from their customer service rep to the professionalism of the engineer.

Needed to have our A/C fixed. I checked out recommendation on our HOA group and found several that recommended Air-Right. I then read the reviews on Google and decided to call them. The lady who answered the phone was helpful and professional and I was astonished when she said they would have someone over within the hour! Mike H arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, made the repair, asked if I had any questions (which I did, I wanted to know how to set the dampers for appropriate air flow) which he explained and demonstrated. These guys are amazing! We recently had to change our HVAC coil that rusted, but we have used these guys for the past 6 years and we are very happy with their work. I have had a service agreement with this company over 9 years. Their integrity/honesty is beyond credible. Several times I have expected the worst result of my heating and air system they fixed for minimal charge when they could have taken advantage. Simply put they are great. A few weeks ago I had leaking water in the basement. Initially I thought it was the hot water heater but it turned out to be a pressure valve. After multiple companies (including the one that installed the unit) came to fix the problem unsuccessfully, Sam was able to get it working and then solved the problem permanently. Gary was on time for the appointment. He was knowledgeable. He checked out what every that needed to be checked out and rectified the issue. Very friendly and professional service.

Contacted about a small leak in the top of a water heater they had installed which was still under parts warranty. Service man came out and looked at it and said that it needed to be replaced. Two days later, without hearing back from them, the water heater sprang a massive leak that partly flooded my basement.Called their emergency 24 hour service number and did not get a response.Called another service company that would honor the warranty but was out of hot water for an additional four days before they could arrive to do the work.Would never recommend this company to anyone and will be contacting NOVEC to recommend that they stop referring people to this company.

Service was professional and excellent as always. We have been using Air-Right for four years now and have been completely satisfied with them. We even had to replace our air conditioning unit and the sales team was great, no pressure and offered many options but welcomed us to shop around.

For 2 years in a row i have called this company about my frozen AC unit. Each year they sent the same service man Mike to my home who told me 2 years in a row that nothing was wrong and that i needed to keep my thermostat set at 70 and 68 was too cold and i also needed to change my air filter. He also had to use my restroom each time he came. My AC unit is still freezing up so ive decided to call another service provider. This other service provider found problems with my unit...the fuses didnt match breaker i was really low on freon. I do not recommend Air-Right for any repairs. And your service msn needs to relieve himself before arriving at a customers home...this is not a public restroom .

I had a hot water heater leak right before the July 4th Holiday weekend. I reached out to 3 companies for quotes and Air-Right contacted me right away with details. I was impressed with the way they listened to what I was looking for, then worked to find a unit in stock locally that would meet our special needs. We scheduled the installation for the very next day. Best of all, Gary Newton was our Service Specialist that did the installation. He was polite, professional, efficient, and very clean. I had lots of questions, and he had lots of answers. I would recommend Air-Right for any hot water heater needs, plus I plan to use them for HVAC in the future. Great job!!!!!!!!

Craig was very knowledgeable and professional. On his first visit, he detailed out different options we can do to fix the issue, short term, long term, etc. He explained in layman terms and made it very easy for us to see why different options have different costs. It really helped us make an informative decision. On the day of the repair, he singlehandedly carried heavy equipment up and down staircase that was extremely heavy. He fixed the problem and our AC was up and running without any issue. He came promptly on time. He even made sure he cleaned up our floor of any foot prints that he may have accidently left on hardwood floor while carry these equipment. I definitely would use Air Right again. This is our second service with them and we are pleased with the result. I also would definitely put a request for Craig personally as I know I will be ensure of a bright smile, professionalism, and that the job will be done properly. Thanks Craig.

Had a problem with water heater. Was referred to Air-Right by Lowes since we were still under an Extended Protection Plan. Came out same day - problem turned out to be a bad breaker which wasnt covered by the EPP for the water heater. Gary conducted the diagnosis and replaced the breaker promptly in a pleasant and professional manner. Hot water was restored to my home the same day a problem was noticed.

He was very professional and displayed great plumbing skills in connecting the new water heater to the existing water runs. The new water heater works great and he carted off the old leaker. I highly recommend Gary and Air-Right Energy Design if you have to replace your water heater.

Called Air-Right in the late morning. By the early evening the same day I had a professional (Mike) come to my house. As he open the panel to the AC unit he immediately knew what the problem was. He excused himself went to his truck for the new capacitor and came back installed it and the AC was running. He automatically ran a full diagnostic, and everything was working fine. Beware of Sam. A young ignorant air right employee. destroyed my furnace and threatened me with poisonous mold. He tore entire furnace apart and barely could figure out how to reinstall the components. He is after a sale and beware of this guy. been with this company for several years and never had a person try and sell me so much stuff and cause more harm than good. my furnace does not sound the same. I will not be renewing my contract. Stay Away from these people especially Sam.

This morning, I wrote up to a sweltering(81 degrees) house from a broken air conditioner. I did not have a clue on who to call or what to do about it. After the initial shock, I called NOVEC, my utility company emergency number and was told I would receive a call from a service company to assist me. So as I sat in my car with air condition on high. I received a call from Air-Right Energy Design rep, he explained he was on several visits in the NoVA area and what time to expect his arrival. Not only did he show up as stated, he FIXED it within 30 minutes of the visit and educated me on a/c unit and water heater. He restored my faith in contractors! I would use this company for first work on my home concerning HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues. They are (at least) Gary N, very trustworthy, professional and reliable company.

My wife followed reviews on Yelp to Air-Right Energy. Craig Carter came out and gave us a thorough review based on the issues we described. After an hour or so of looking in our crawl space, attics and rooms, Craig offered up multiple options (low, medium and high price ranges) that would help solve the issues we had. There was no charge for the time he spent and left it up to us on how we wanted to approach the work we wanted done, no pressure and all the information we could use to make an informed decision. That alone made it easy to cancel the other HVAC estimates I had planned. We ended up going back and forth through email with additional questions and requests with Craig, who was nothing short of great (I personally love the prompt email responses since I dont have access to a phone for personal calls during work hours, forcing me to work through email). Finally decided on the option we wanted, Craig was prompt with his crew on the install day and kept my wife in the loop throughout the day on progress and showing her the issues with the old system as it was removed. Suffice to say we love the new system and the re-worked ductwork and I plan to use Air-Right (Craig of course!) again in the future for a re-work of the system at my rental property as well.UPDATE - 2/2017We had the HVAC system in our house replaced several years ago (review above) purchased and installed by Air Right ENERGY. My mother purchased a new house last year down here in Manassas and this past month, I had the Air Right guys install a whole new LENNOX system in her house.
