Jake and Brandon are the best. Customized training plans that have definitely helped me get stronger. They have helped me crosstrain with all the cardio I do. Highly recommend!
Been going here for 4 years. The trainers are great. They take time to understand my goals and help me work towards them. Workouts are challenging and fulfilling. I am always impressed with what they can push me to do. Classes are small so there is accountability and someone making sure your doing your best each day no matter how that changes from day to day. They offer virtual and in studio classes and personal training. I love mixing classes and personal sessions because it allows individual goals to be met while also providing a team work camaraderie. Classes and training times are all day so I have lots of options based on my schedule.
Theyve done an incredible job in both individual coaching and small group classes. The coaches/ trainers are quick to adapt programs specifically for you.

Simply the best! I joined Orange Shoe wanting to focus on building strength and have big results. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable, motivating and friendly. I was really bummed when I recently became injured, I thought I would have to take an extended break. But, their extensive experience and workout customization allowed me to continue my workout routine. Not my original intention in joining but definitely my reason to stay.
I joined Orange Shoe 7 years ago after completing my first 1/2 Marathon, because I wanted to diversify my activity & add strength training. The trainers have been awesome, working with me through injuries by offering alternative movements, and always being supportive & interested in my overall well-being. Im also so thankful for the flexibility of Zoom classes!
I joined Orange Shoe about 2 years ago and I have had nothing but the best experience. I hesitated to join as I have some medical issues that limit some of my abilities to do certain movements, so I was concerned about the instructors understanding my limitations. My experience was just the opposite, I was listened to, given modifications, watched to make sure I did not hurt myself, all in a very professional and respectful manner. Especially Jake goes out of his way to watch that I never injure myself and is always proactive about making modifications for me.What I like so much about Orange Shoe is the range of clients they are able to accommodate. Whether you are an avid athlete training for an ironman, or someone like me who just wants to stay active and healthy Orange Shoe can have a plan for everyone.
Amazing trainers, challenging workouts and real results! I have been working out on the West Side for more than a year. The trainers are professional, educated and experts in their field. Every time I go for a class I am working harder than I would have thought possible in a positive, encouraging environment. I always leave a class feeling stronger and motivated! During Covid- the leadership and flexibility of all the trainers has been top notch. They quickly came up with trainer led, live at home zoom workouts that were equally challenging and motivating. Logging in to a zoom class or personal training has been a highlight of this quarantine! Can’t recommend Jake, Brandon, Joe and Taylor enough!
Orange Shoe has amazing trainers that consistently motivate and encourage you to reach your goals. I have been a client for six years and I continue to learn and improve my fitness. I particularly like the small group training with Brandon and Jake which offers a challenging mix of strength and cardio training. Wonderful trainers, and Im so glad that Orange Shoe is continuing to offer virtual options during the pandemic. Update, 12/28/20: Still true! Attending Zoomed small group classes to fit my schedule. I continue to appreciate the flexibility and responsibility with which OS operates to give everyone a safe workout space.
They help you with your form for the exercises. It is a great workout definitely makes you tired. I really like the workouts and they are easy to do at home!
Ive been coming to the Madison West location over the last several months and recommend this place to anyone interested in improving their physical health! My first consult with Jake was excellent - I didnt feel intimidated as I do in other training facilities. I have a physical disability that severely limits my range of motion in my arm, and other personal trainers have either ignored training requests or have tried to cure me (I dont know which is worse). My sessions with both Erin and Brandon have been nothing but positive. If there is a move that I cannot do because of my disability, they find modifications. I still get a great workout and these guys challenge me for sure. The staff is amazing, knowledgeable, and will kick your butt. Cant recommend the Orange Shoe Crew enough :)

Great experience and great results. Ive been training with Orange shoe for over 2 years now. Their Trainers are excellent, very knowledgable and patient. Workouts are tough but a very efficient use of time....after 25 minutes Im always wiped out...in a good way. My trainer also gives me workouts I can do from home or while traveling. Ive learned a lot and my fitness has improved steadily.
I love Orange Shoe and have been a client for 7 years. The trainers worked with me initially to get me ready for a bike trip and I had so much fun with them, I stayed on and now have enjoyed 7 bike trips! The trainers are enthusiastic and got a couch potato to enjoy working out. Orange Shoe also got me interested in running and I have completed 10 half marathons as a result (and I had never run before!)

I really enjoy the small group training classes at Orange Shoe. The classes are challenging and rewarding, and the trainers are friendly, knowledgeable, and motivating. Because the exercises are different every time, its exciting and gives a complete workout. Ive been going about a year and look forward to more!
Orange Shoe Personal Fitness has been my favorite gym for almost 8 years. I looked for a smaller, more personable training experience where the trainers really focus on the clients. From assessing each individual’s personal goals; building strength, weight maintenance and nutrition, the Orange Shoe trainers are excellent. Their guidance and support is the best!
