The owner is a amazing person. Coach kubi. Takes time with every training session he has. You can just tell these the trainees love him. Great place to go to for rock climbing training.

I love working out at Summit. The set up of equipment and climbing wall are perfect to get a solid workout in both on and off the wall. Ive done personalized training plans as well that always work with my schedule and goals. Highly recommend!
I joined Summit over a year ago to train for general fitness as well to prepare for a mountaineering expedition. I found the fitness and climbing classes and instructors at Summit to be terrific. They certainly helped prepare me for 6 strenuous days in the mountains!
I have been coming here for classes for a few weeks now and I can say confidently this is a 5 star gym! The coaches are super friendly and knowledgeable, and very encouraging. As a complete beginner, I have already made a lot of progress and its because of the support and teachings from the wonderful gym! THANKS GUYS.
I have been climbing for 15 years and recently started attending the Wednesday climbing strength class, which is phenomenal. I started noticing a real difference in how I think on the wall and an increase in my physical ability after a couple of classes. They have created something really special there and have great people. It has real value to me and to so many other people Ive talked to.
Ive been for a bit of personal training and a couple of classes. My experiences have been positive. The facilities are clean and there is a lot of equipment to play around with.The personal training has so far been a really positive experience. Looking forward to trying more things.
Great energy and plenty of laughs in this welcoming community space. Nice mix of climbing terrain, though slightly skewed towards the overhung. Fun classes, both on and off the wall!
This is the place to get better! The atmosphere strikes a wonderful balance of encouraging challenging workouts and climbing, as well as being laid-back and friendly. They do a wonderful job of welcoming you into the community and creating a personal approach to improve the areas you want. Whether its climbing specific, general fitness, or to get into shape for a sport, you will find what you need here!
Summit is a hugely positive environment and a great place for anyone training for specific fitness goals. I injured both of my feet a 14 months ago, plantar fasciitis, and I was resigned to being limited to the amount of time I could be on my feet without having, sometimes excruciating pain. After three trips to Summit Strength and Fitness, one for evaluation, and two for physical therapy, I experienced my first day in14 months with no foot pain. I salute Emma and Ryan for their very professional and compassionate treatment. When they told me to expect good results in 4 weeks, I didnt believe it was possible, but Im now pleasantly surprised in two weeks. They are consummate professionals. Chronic pain impacts your quality of life, and they certainly have improved my quality of life!! Thank you Emma and Ryan!!
Love this place! The instruction from several different instructors has been excellent, and I love that Im actually learning skills to put to purpose instead of just climbing willy-nilly! The gym is clean, well run and staffed by friendly and experienced trainers.
This place turned me into a climber.I have always dreamed of being a climber, but after 2 years I had plateaued and not really making progress. This place gave me a focus to really step up my game and make me finally feel like I can climb.I have reached goals in climbing, ice climbing and running that I did not think were possible for me anymore.More importantly, I have met a community of climbers who have a shared goal of getting better, helping each other and being safe. I really love this gym. You will get better, smarter and stronger. However, most importantly you will make lifelong friends and partners.
Summit is a great gym with awesome staff. Keith is a great coach and trainer and this gym has helped me improve my climbing and overall fitness so much.
Its the best climbing gym in Madison! The personal training is tailored to the individual, my kids love the classes, and my climbing has definitely grown working with Keith.
