Easy to get in for a quick clip as long as there is no wait. This location has much better energy than the Fitchburg location and Im sure it is due to the team. It would be a nice addition to have a call ahead option for appointments. They take only walk-ins. I have visited in the past with long wait and left due to it.

They gave my 15 year old son a great haircut. He said it was the best one he ever had in his life. Haircuts are a bit pricey. A basic one will cost you $21 unless you have some sort of coupon.

Second time at Sports Clips, first time in Madison. Called on the phone to see how busy they were and was well informed and told how to use online check-in(highly recommended btw). When I arrived it was a few minute wait then I was seated and the haircut was exactly what I asked for(shout-out to Montse!) Will be coming back every two to three weeks at that price and service level.

Had a great experience always come here for my hair cut staff is always friendly and do a good job of making conversation and not making it awkward.

Our stylist was just awesome! I wish i remembered her name....she had dark hair and I think her tag said manager or assistant mgr. She gave my (very picky) son his favorite haircut ever. She offered us coupons and even retroactively used one because we told her we were in the week prior to get my other sons haircut. She even told us because he liked it so much, she would make notes in his file so we knew exactly what they did so they can do it again!

Do note that a standard haircut is $19. In retrospective, I realized someone overcharged me, and said $22 despite no shampoo or message. I had given them tips on top of that too... thats just dishonest. Yikes. Otherwise, experience varies. Ive had great experience my first-time here with a stylist, but so-so to mediocre experience the next two times with different stylists.

The people there are just fine. The services they offer is to talk about. I enjoyed the hot towel and back massage. The shoulder massage was great, as well. I was needing that.

This place has been pretty great and getting my hair exactly how I like it. Ive never come out and not like it. I tried a few barbershops in the area that just didnt do it for me.

Came in and signed in, told it would be about a twenty minute wait. Okay, thats no problem. After waiting about ten minutes, another guy walks in and adds his name. He was also told it would be about a twenty minute wait. Wait another ten minutes, then they call the other guy. Yeah, Im not going to a sports clips ever again.

I am new in the Madison area. I found sport clips online went there and had a very good experiance. Sara cut my hair she was super friendly and did a great job. It cost like 20 bucks for a hair cut and shampoo and since I was a new client I got my second cut for 10 buck.

I only let Montse cut my hair here, but if the rest of the girls do half as well I highly recommend it. Go for the MVP

Edit:. It turns out, I was misled on the MVP deal. While the price was awesome, these haircuts cannot be redeemed at other locations. I had specifically asked about being able to use them in Machesney Park and was told they would work. No dice.After being quoted an hour and a half wait time at a nearby CostCutters, I looked for another place for a haircut. I had the salon to myself for the entire visit, and it was clean and the employees were friendly. My cut was on point and the six MVP cuts for $60 is a heck of a deal.

Excellent haircut experience. If prices at all haircut joints were the same, I would come here every time, but the other chains send me crazy coupons like haircuts for $6.99. Thats hard to ignore.

The manager, Christa, is very professional and a great hair stylist. My son loves his cut every time we are lucky to be there when she is working.

Usually a great deal, it depends on who cuts your hair. Ive walked out with amazing haircuts and other times not so much. The price is fair either way, so I keep coming back.

This is my go to when I am home on leave. The staff are friendly and they engage you in a conversation which is better than just sitting in awkward silence.
